Não é um verdadeiro hotel de 5 estrelas, equivale a um de 4 estrelas . Fora do hotel não há nada para ver ou fazer…A comida é toda importada, não havendo praticamente produtos locais. A fruta era muito pouco variada e toda importada da Europa. Os cocktails são todos feitos com charope de açúcar sendo todos hiper doces e sem gosto. Não consegui gostar de um único cocktail. Eram verdadeiramente decepcionantes. A piscina estava cheia de mosquitos. Observei várias baratas na zona do bar.
- Sascha (1/5): - The stay itself was pleasant and the staff were friendly and attentive on a day-to-day basis. We booked and paid for Hotel Lana but were relocated to Hotel Laguna upon arrival. We were told both hotels are equivalent — yet on Booking.com, the Laguna is listed at a significantly lower price for the same dates. We raised this issue five times during our stay, on consecutive days. No one took responsibility. We were promised the reservations department would contact us after departure - they never did. After checkout, I contacted the hotel multiple times by email. The responses were dismissive: first they offered only points and vouchers; then they claimed the price difference was due to booking timing, which is simply not true. My last email was ignored entirely. I also filed a complaint with Booking.com, who said they could not help after checkout - even though the issue was reported during the stay and the delay was caused by the hotel. After my detailed rebuttal, Booking.com stopped responding as well. Four follow-up emails went unanswered. Bottom line: we paid for one hotel, stayed in a cheaper one, and neither the hotel nor Booking.com was willing to refund the difference or even engage seriously with the complaint.

Weine beim Abendessen schlechter Qualität. Sieht man auch in der Vivino-App. Kaffee am Morgen leider auch nicht geniessbar. Zuviele Touristen, meisten keinen Platz an den Pools oder besetzt mit Tüchern. Es wird zuviel eingespart , um Profit zu machen! Deshalb stimmt Preis-Leistung auch nicht. Leider können wir dieses Hotel daher nicht empfehlen. Auch das ignorante und teils arrogante Personal in der Bob Marley Bar hat uns dazu bewegt, woanders hinzu gehen. Null Aufmerksamkeit/Freundlichkeit, schade, da wir uns wie immer freundlich verhalten haben. (Einzige personelle Enttäuschung )

There was no water some days at the hotel i.e no shower, taps, toilet for four days. There was power outages also so no electricity or air conditioning in the room. The room always had clean and sparkling bottled water, as well as beer and carbonated drinks in the minibar. Also in the room tea, coffee, sugar, kettle. Hairdryer. There is even an ironing board and iron, but we did not use it. Bathroom and shower. Interesting layout, you can look out the window through the room and the balcony, taking a bath. There were enough sun loungers and places at the tables and in the recreation area for everyone. Yoga, aqua aerobics, water volleyball and other animation. Live music or a show every evening. I really liked the show "Circus". The guys tried so hard, such flexibility, plasticity and acting. Above all praise. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and caring. We felt that they were glad to see us. No one ever spoiled our vacation. Just a miracle! For variety, we went to the city of Santa Clara by bus from the hotel. We also rented a car and explored the island ourselves. You could return the car at the reception. Convenient! We have been to many hotels in different countries of the world. Sometimes worse and sometimes better. But the price-quality ratio at this hotel is at a good level. You don't need to expect something super luxurious for the appropriate money. We will remember our vacation in Cabo Verde with warmth. Thank you for providing us with excellent accommodation and time spent at the hotel.

The activities are a lot of fun, even if you just decide to watch people. Instead of having so much food, I would have preferred to have less food but of better taste. But again, this might vary from individual to individual.

Alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, classic cocktails) were included in the all inclusive, which we were happy about. Air conditioning wasn’t working in one of the rooms. Sauna was out of order.

- Ellen (6/5): - The property is new and beautiful, the staff friendly and helpful. but they have serious problems. There was no running water at all on 3 of 4 nights I stayed there and on 2 out of 4 afternoons. It was on and off the rest of the time. And not just my room but in restrooms by the restaurant etc. That may well be the lack of infrastructure on the very dry island that just doesn’t have enough water for everyone as opposed to the fault of the hotel itself but it is of course not what you expect at a 5 star hotel. It may not be a good idea to develop more tourism on the island. Other than that, my room wasn’t ready for check in before 5.30 which isn’t great. But they arranged a massage for me so it was fine.

- Agnès (6/5): - La propreté des chambres n'est pas remise en question par contre dans les allées de l'hôtel, c'était sale, nous avons même trouvé une pile, des bouchons d'oreilles, des Q-tips et tout de sorte de choses. Nous avons dû plusieurs fois demander des serviettes car la femme de ménage ne les mettait pas en même temps que le ménage. Il manquait continuellement des produits. Egalement un manque de vaisselle (pas de petite cuillière par exemple). Sans compter que le personnel est vraiment désagréable, cela nous a choqué ! Et le bouquet, le wifi presque inexistant, une vraie galère. Et pour conclure nous sommes rentrés malades sûrement à cause de la nourriture, bref, nous ne recommandons pas cet endroit

We spent most of day on beach as pools were - The Level staff were helpful and generally sorted our issues but the staff in some of the restaurants other than the buffet restaurant were unhelpful, disorganised and slow. Spa was a highlight and restaurants in nearby Santa Maria were nice. See above but would add that we had to chase for our room to be made up most days and one days we had to ask twice for new hand and shower towels. Entertainment was woeful. We had already upgraded to the Level but were disappointed that the promise of priority on bookings was nothing short of a joke.
- Jeremy (8/5): Lovely to sit in the sunshine on the equator in November ! - Breakfast in the main buffer was extensive with the usual range of made to order eggs etc. But it was a bit noisy and busy. As a member of the Level club we had access to an adjacent sit down and order breakfast that was calmer but just as good I got a food bug and had a poorly stomach for 4 days. Although I reported it to reception twice, there was no real interest, noone followed or took a report - until I asked for the manager on our day of check out In addition was hotel was good and up to standard but there was not much of interest to do on the island it although it is called Cape Verde it is actually largely barren and sandstone so not visually appealing !

- Lauryn (6/5): - Nous avons séjourné avec mon fiancé 10 jours dans cet hôtel. Un hôtel 5 étoiles pas vraiment à la hauteur : nous sommes arrivés 15h avant le check in et avons été logés dans une chambre défraîchie (araignée dans le lit, 2/4 oreillers sans taie d’oreiller, des tâches douteuses sur ceux ci. Notre 2e chambre était bien plus propre et nettoyée tous les jours, mais les draps n’ont pas été changés malgré nos demandes c’est dommage. Le restaurant principal offre un large panel de plats de qualité, nous n’avons que très rarement été déçus mais le restaurant italien (1 dîner inclus dans la formule all inclusive “basique”) est à fuir, littéralement. Nous avons commandé des plats différents pour l’entrée, le plat et le dessert. Résultat : entrées surgelées (fruits de mer), plat à peine comestible (des Arabiatta bien trop piquantes et industrielles pour être appréciées), dessert indigne de la pâtisserie. Enfin, lors de notre checkout, nous sommes peinés de n’avoir même pas été questionné sur notre appréciation du séjour dans l’hôtel (nous sommes restés 10 jours). Nous avons simplement été encaissés pour une facture de laverie et bon vent ! Au final, nous avons malgré tout apprécié notre séjour sur l’île et dans l’hôtel dans sa globalité et avons pu nous reposer comme nous le souhaitions. Un grand merci aux serveurs du restaurant Mosaico pour leur accueil chaleureux. Cependant, nous déplorons la qualité des prestations qui n’est pas à la hauteur de celle attendue pour un 5 étoiles.
- Sarah (10/5): Superb resort - The hotel provided a good range of meal options at every meal. I was very pleased with the vegan options which were always so tasty. Staff were always very welcoming and happy to help, particularly Daniel in the restaurant. I used the gym a few times and the machines were fine although there are limited options. It can get quite busy in there but still much better than many hotel gyms that i’ve used before. The drive to santa maria is about 10 minutes so not too bad and it costs €5. Nothing!

- Kina (6/5): - The property was beautiful but was very quiet. It's a space for relaxing. When I arrived, the water to shower was brown, the show tub was flooding, and when the repair man came he tracked dirt and water all over the floor and didn't clean it up. Also, no one came to clean the room and the front desk did not have towels. I had to wait for the next day to get clean towels. The property manager was also not accommodating. I switched hotels to move to the Riu Palace.
- Andreas (10/5): - Für eine kurze Auszeit (5 bis 10 Tage) ist dieses Hotel perfekt. Ich hatte eine Junior Suite mit eigener Terrasse und habe die Zeit sehr genossen. Die Drinks sind gut gemischt, das Essen allerdings für meinen Geschmack etwas eintönig. Die Umgebung ist zu Fuß nicht erkundbar und eher schmutzig (ist halt Wüste und Afrika)! "Adults only" ist auch ein hervorragender Mehrwert, wenn man sich entspannen will. Den Strand habe ich sehr genossen!
