Breakfast only coffee and tea with crakers.
350THB for a room with fan. Cold water. But big, confortable and very clean. It's great for the price.

- Rana6758 (8/5): Hotel Phitchaphat - If you want to relax and find time for urself from your busy life this is such a beautiful place in Nakhon Si Thammarat (NST) Thailand.
The property is good for family and couples with caring staff as like a family.
- Wong (10/5): Good - The standard room I booked was no-ac room. Please well stated in the ads or else will get disappointing or argument. Location, facilities, staffs and hotel condition overall is good. Very satisfy.
- Verified traveler (10/5): makmak - It would be good if this good hotel has workers who can speak litle more english. Most of the world speaks english, and the fact that you are making hotel business is that you really need to know that. You can be proud of your culture but why not make living easier and learn just little more. Kop Khun Krub, rooms are super nice and close to train station. I will come back again! And maybe even learn more thai too ;) if i can learn thai you can learn english, deal? 555
- Verified traveler (8/5):

(8/5): Only sleep - It's a quiet, clean hotel, but there's nothing around. There is no restaurant around.
- Thomas (8/5): - Personalen pratade ej engelska Skön säng Bra läge
- Verified traveler (8/5): Handy Location - Handy location for that part of the city. Room a good size and price. Decor a bit tired. No hot water or bath tub in the bathroom only has a shower with cold water. If you want hot water you need to book a room that has this.

- NANG (6/5): - NO REFRIGERATOR, NO HOT WATER, I BOOKING FOR LARGE BED BUT THEY GIVE ME SINGLE BED. THE STAFF ALL NOT VERY KIND PERSON . I ALREADY PAID FOR 4 ROOM BUT THEY TOLD ME EXPEDIA INFORM FOR 1 ROOM ONLY. THIS TIME I VERY VERY UPSET.
- Debra (8/5): Language barrier but hotel is close to everything - We had difficulties with the language barrier but staff tried very hard to help us
- WAYNE (8/5): - clean, big, simple room, good wifi, no hot water, no a/c, but still very comfortable, great value for money
- Jerry (8/5): Old school hotel but clean and spacious. - It is nice. Tho the breakfast is not good. I was expecting a toast bread or sandwich with fruits maybe but its just biscuit and coffee. I had a nice stay tho. And btw, staff should greet the guest. A simple hi or hello will make our stay more pleasant and keep us coming back.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Cheap and old fashioned hotel - A cheap and old style hotel situates in traditional morning market. Many byke riders use this hotel with simple bread.Only one speck is no heater for hotshower but is very easy to find good food and dinsum for those who would like go outside in quite early morning!
- justin (8/5): Good budget hotel. - Big room. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff who provided good service
- gordons960 (8/5): Nice hotel - It has been said about the shopping centre on the third floor but you can also get to the hotel from the ground floor as I found out when the taxi dropped me off in front of the shopping centre, the is a corridor from the shopping centre to the reception mind your head though. The room was big and was clean but maybe not up to western standards but then nst isn't a tourist hot spot.
Great location and I would stay again.
- SimsandShaggy (8/5): Good cheap hotel. Recommended - Stayed here for 1 night. They have smoking rooms for people like me that smoke:) rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly. Market is right outside the doors down stairs. And some located in the building too. We really enjoyed our stay. And will defs visit again next time in Nakhon Si Thamarat. Definitely recommend this one!
- Sarinya (8/5): Good location, Old hotel but good cleanliness. - The hotel is locate in the market. There’s many foods around. It is old hotel but cleanliness is still acceptable. The breakfast should be improve.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything was good
Good location with minimarts and transport to the city
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice Stay - Nice clean and spacious old hotel in excellent location with good wifi.
We enjoyed our stay very much.
breakfast is coffee and biscuits, so very basic.
- jessicajeeplus (2/5): Dirty, need to improve hygiene. - My relatives told me to book this hotel because it's located at night market, easy to get some food, which it was really nice.
I first booked two fan rooms, but upgraded them to rooms with air-con and bath tub when we arrived in the late evening.
-->>> In the morning I found what looked like pubic hair in the refrigerator, on the phone and attached on a cup in the bathroom.
Also found some tissue paper under the bed.
:-(
VERY poor WiFi in my room, I stayed at room 573.
- AHMADFAKHRIS (6/5): Near to Train Station - This hotel is easily to find from train station. Room start from 350B per night for fan room is sufficient enough for single traveller. However the aisleway to room is dark with not much lightning. Food stall is nearby but no muslim food available. The town basically close at 19.00 so it hand for you to explore the surrounding.
- Verified traveler (8/5):
- Nat (8/5): It's good. - I think it's good place and maybe next time i'll stay there again. good service and facilities but if there is a coffee shop it will be perfectlllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll
- Rodney (8/5): Thai Hotel Nakhon Si Thammarat - Large room...WiFi comes and goes...bed hard...no hot water in a junior standard room...so if you want a hot shower book a senior room...breakfast basic, toast tea coffee sticky rice...ok for a couple of nights...
- Melisa_merr (8/5): recommended! good and cheap staying - RECOMMENDED
This is a good hotel with cheap price. It is better than I thought. Nice and clean room. Nearby restaurants, stores, and main road.Public transportation called rod-song-theaw passes the hotel so it is easy to go to other places. Moreover, we only paid 10 ฿ for the rod-song-theaw. There are Wat Phra That, Sahathat Store, Big C Supermarket, and Central Department Store around there. You just tell the driver or your nearby passengers, they will help you.
- Verified traveler (8/5):
- Gary (8/5): Good value - Great value for what you pay. A bit of an old lady of the town now and as such, a bit ragged around the edges, but worth a look. I visit Nakhon frequently, and tend to stay here most times. Don't expect the Ritz, and Don't expect more than a coffee and a slice of toast for breakfast.
- AliceF376 (8/5): convenient in nakhon - good value for an inexpensive hotel in the middle of the city. very convenient location and nice staff. i stayed for 2 weeks because i didn't like my flat. there is a free breakfast, it is only toast and coffee but better than nothing.
- alice (8/5): convenient and quiet - good for what I needed BUT WHEN THE COMPUTER SAYS ROOM HAS AIR CON AND REFRIGERATOR, IT DOESN'T, THAT WILL BE AN EXTRA CHARGE AT THE HOTEL TO MOVE TO THAT ROOM.
- Ove (10/5): Nice place to stay in Nakhon - We stayed nights there, the room is nice and big.Okay place to stay and not to far from the temples in the city. The breakfast was so so, but if you need to fill up more there is a 7/11 and a Big C nearby. 30 min walk to the bus station and 3-5min walk to train station.
WiFi is good.
- Verified traveler (6/5):
- Verified traveler (8/5): Best choice in Nakhon for this price range - Stayed here for a week and overall I was very happy with my stay. The room I had (6th floor) was bright and big and even though the hotel is in an old building, everything is kept in good condition. Other positives are the central location, daily housekeeping, and desks for online workers or business people. The Internet connection was pretty bad though, even for Thai standards.
- Mon Jiang (6/5): Hotel in the middle of the city, nice view - Valuable for a night, good location, easy walking to the night market and temples.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location and lots of character - There was a bit of a mix-up when we checked in, as reception staff insisted we pay for the room when we had already paid online. Fortunately we could explain this in Thai and we were shown to our room. The room itself was great, very spacious, spotlessly clean, and the bed was super-comfortable. A basic breakfast of toast, coffee, and sweet sticky rice is included in the rate.
The only negative is the poor WiFi. Despite having routers on every floor and being right next to one of them, the connection kept dropping and was unavailable multiple times. Maybe not an issue if you only need to check your emails once a day, but we were there to do online work and it was very frustrating.
Overall a really nice, old-style hotel that offers great value for money.
- Tomas (6/5): Ok hotel - Decent hotel, a bit dated maybe. Parking just outside. Rooms large with huge comfortable bed. Souroundings quiet at night time, but busy market daytime. Amusing detail, floors two and three of hotel is a giant wholesale clothes market. Breakfast included, but only coffee/tea and toast, cup-o-noodles.
Friendly staff.
- Annie Lynn (6/5): - Good place for the price but they charged us more aside from what i paid in hotels.com. they i paid a lower price therefore need to add more. Clear rip off as i paid on the site already. They didnt care even if you explained that to them.
- 717beats (8/5): Value for money - This is my second time at this hotel. I like the location. So convenient for shopping and eating. I travel with the car and they have a secure parking area within the hotel. The receptionist are friendly and helpful. The rate is very cheap and competitive even with breakfast but we always like to eat at the market or local restaurant. The hotel is clean and we stayed at a fan room at the 9th floor, no need for aircon even it was during the hottest time of the year. I would stay here defenitely again and recommend it further.
We had a pleasant stay.
- Simonjonand (8/5): Very exotic - Thai Hotel is located in the shopping district of Nakhorn si Tammarath. A part of the building is actually a shopping mall. The area is very Real Thailand - no tourists. This makes it a great experience. I believe that the hotel is "the old lady" of the town, but even though the decor feels somewhat old - it is definately not warn. The staff speaks a little english and is helpfull and nice.
- mohdizzwanz (8/5): Great stay.. - I was here by chance.. not even plan to stay in this hotel.. but im very happy that ive stay in this hotel.. is a very clean and large room, with one super large king size bed, lcd tv, ice box, super nice and clean toilet with hot water, free wifi and with breakfast.. the best part is, its only cost me 500B.. the only draw back is that i cant speak thai.. or else it will be fantastic experience...
- 542michaelp (8/5): Third visit to Thai hotel - My third visit to Thai hotel, just as good as the last time.. helpful staff.. Room, aircon, clean with refrigerator.. I noticed floors, have had rooms renovated, I stayed in one but changed due to wanting a fridge.. Perfect location, big see a small walk away, Ocean not much further, and good food everywhere..
- IHunsch (8/5): Slight improvements - I'm giving this a slightly higher review than it deserves for the restaurant's excellent khao tom pla (rice soup with fish). Although priced slightly highly, it is excellent and enjoyable at any time of day. It is handily located, too, just a short walk from a Big C supermarket and a good little fruit stall. Khanom jin stall right outside and gold shops on every corner, if that's your kind of thing! Just a short walk from the railway station and minivans is an added bonus.
- 542michaelp (8/5): Not 5 star, but still comfy - Stayed at The Thai hotel for 5 nights.. Found the staff friendly, clean rooms, large kingsize bed, room also with air-condition, situated near markets, great food and cheap... For 500 baht per nigh, i will return to the Thai hotel, on my next trip to Nakhon Si Thammarat, comfy hotel, and good rates...
- BallardBeaver (10/5): A Brilliant Deal - The night before I came to Nakorn Si I stayed at Louise Guest House in Hat Yai -- my usual lodging there. I paid 400 baht for a clean, slightly cramped and characterless fan room with essentially no view. Next night at Thai Hotel in Nakorn Si I paid just 430 baht for a spacious, attractive air-con room with a king bed. It was on the 8th floor with big views of the city and the mountains. Wifi was much faster than at Louise. This is a brilliant deal. I may just decide to live here. Location is esp. great because it's just across the road from Bovorn Bazaar which features 4 of the city's better restaurnats.
- wintermute87 (10/5): a big hotel, easy to find and reasonable price - the staff seems to be very organized and its getting rarer and rarer that thai hotels ask for my id. they took my passport, made a copy of an old visa then sent me up to a fan room on the 9th floor for 350 baht a night. the room is clean and the tv has a few channels in english. the desk top is made from granite (very nice). its a reasonably big hotel and it was very easy to reach. the minibus i came in just dropped me off. things are pretty retro but that seems to be a recurring theme in thailand. new hotels with new furnishings are a rarity. at any rate, the white sheets on the bed appear clean. i have a very nice view from the 9th floor.
- Katelighton (8/5): For a quick stop over in a small town, the Thai Hotel was fantastic! - Stayed in Nakhon for two nights. The Thai Hotel came highly recommended. Such wonderful staff who all made such an effort to ensure we enjoyed our stay! The rooms were clean, facilities basic but just what we needed! Deluxe room is great and so inexpensive! We paid 550 Baht a night and really enjoyed our stay.
- nomadicab (8/5): You get what you pay for. - Budget hotel situated in the heart of the city. Showing signs of wear and tear in places and could do with a little TLC. Staff friendly enough and helpful. Rooms were comfortable enough and bathrooms adequately equipped. Would stay again.
- MindaugasS158 (10/5): Nobody cares to rip you off - This hotel turned to be the best value in our journey through the Thailand. Interiors with signs of tear and wear of many years. Still luxuriuos apartments comes from 60's or so. Beautiful materials and furniture brings you closer to the authentic heritage of Nakhom si Tamarat days of glory. Friendly English speaking staff.
The city itself is very worthy place to look for authentic Thailand. People are not used to tourists here, so nobody cares to rip you off.
- IHunsch (6/5): Location, Location, Location ... - The hotel's exterior is a bit shabby and the staff are rather disinterested, if anything, so service is 'average'. Nevertheless, the rooms are reasonable enough value at from 320 baht (US$10-15) per night, so I shouldn't really grumble. The restaurant is basic, but reasonable enough. Its main selling point is that it is a short walk away from the railway station, Big C, a 7-11 and a few local temples.
- Meshkis (8/5): Good mid-range hotel with very pleasant staff - It's very good, cheap mid-range hotel with free wi-fi, very helpful, pleasant staff and good view to the city. The city itself is off the beaten tourist track which is exciting, because we had a chance to see how real Thailand looks like. It was very different from other touristic places we have visited
