• Carolina (10/5): - Tout. Le personnel est très sympa, la chambre en style japonais parfaite pour une famille de 4. Il y a un onsen mais aussi des douches. Ils servent le dîner et le petit déjeuner très pratique. Très propre et avec un grand parking, pratique si vous êtes en voiture.

• Alfred (10/5): - Very friendly, clean, good breakfast, quiet, very near to bus stop. Bus nr 26 takes you right to the trainstation in the center, but it takes almost 1 hour. The busstop is near where the bus starts , so you will get a seat on the bus ! There is also a direct bus to the golden temple. Great onzen after a long day. Rooms are good size for Japan. We did not have any " long waitingtimes " , but more restrooms would be nice.

Nous avons pu louer des velos pour nous rendre syr les sites touristiques voisins. Un peu loin du centre de Kyoto (1h de bus de la gare). Possibilité de commander le petit-déjeuner et le repas du soir au restaurant de l'auberge mais prix un peu élevés. Enfin, peu de douches à disposition (pour ceux qui les préfèrent aux onsen)

• Russell (9/5): An Excellent Hostel with an Interesting Shower Setup - I stayed in many hostels when I used to backpack (I'm 41 now), and this is easily one of the nicest. The beds were comfortable (my wife and I stayed in a family room, not a dorm), the dinner was delicious, healthy, and well presented. The bathrooms were spotless, and the grounds were very nice. There are only a few showers, and there are set times to use them (6am to 9:45am, 3pm to 10pm), so that is inconvenient for people like us who are up at 5am and out the door well before 6am. Other than that, the location is far from ideal, but we have a car (we live in Tokyo), so that wasn't an issue for us.

From pasta, rice, bread/buns, fruits and cereals. Tea, coffee or juice available. Fresh salad , eggs, sausages, ham. If only the flowers of the sakura tree at the front were in bloom, it would have been picture perfect!!!

• Laura (10/5): - Mit das beste Hostel in dem wir je waren!! Das Hostel überzeugt mit dem modernen Charme gekreuzt mit dem japanischen Stil. Als wir morgens aufgewacht und in den Gang getreten sind, strömte von allen Seiten die helle warme Sonne rein. Es war super geräumig hatte externe Waschbecken in einer hübschen Grlßen Nische im Ganz fürs Zähne putzen. Das Essen haben wir nicht ausprobiert, aber es sah sehr lecker aus und roch gut. Die Mitarbeitenden waren sooo lieb und einfach super herzlich. Was ich auch jedem empfehlen würde ist, das heiße Wasserbecken auszuprobieren, da es einfach total entspannend ist. Alles war sehr hygenisch, denn es wurde jeden Tag geputzt. Wir waren in einem Vierer Mehrbettzimmer und das war super. Nachts war es durch den Winter etwas kühl, aber mit der Klimaanlage ging es super. Die offene Gestaltung mit den praktischen Sitzgelenheiten zum Arbeiten oder auch für einen Spieleabend waren einfach toll!

• Amélie (10/5): - Le séjour fut très appréciable. Le personnel est très chaleureux et à l’écoute. Les chambres sont très confortables et les pièces communes très chaleureuses. Tout est très propre et il y a beaucoup de matériel à disposition. Nous nous sentions vraiment comme chez nous.
