- Ida Haryati (9/5): my honest review from Hpusm, kelantan, Malaysia - like the politeness of staff.. i need to convey aporeciation to two staff at the cafe..they were so kind n polite talking n share infos n greetings when i was having breakfast on 14/5, her name is ms Novita..very helpful also n 15/5 morning staf name Valen, packed me bfast bcoz i need to rush to the airport at 6 30am.. Thank you to both of them..great hospitality..n good in PR i think room service staff should open shoes when comes in the guest room althoung i dont want to tidy uo i jus asked to clear the dustbin n wash the mugs..staff came in with shoes on..and i think not proper bcoz it is carpeted .i walk inside with barefoot..to pray or else cleann hygiene is the key. also i stunned when staf take the rubbish by bare hand without any plastic gloves..i said it is dirty, she juz smile..n the dustbin also u shpuld put plastic baggae..instead of bare like that. That is all hope u can take note .

- Madhuri (9/5): - The staff are very courteous, rooms were spic and span so were the linens and towels too. The Air con could have a remote with easier operation. It was very difficult to set the temperature. Also the shower gel fragrance wasn't very appealing

- MD FARID (9/5): Best to stay at that hotel cause its in the centre - I like the room, nowadays they renovated the 13th floor, and I stayed on that floor. The room looks so cozy and clean, the room service in terms of food is great and reasonable price plus is 24 hours. Only one exception, on Saturday night, the noise from the motorcycle exhaust and road raging was unbearable, i couldnt sleep until 4.00 am in the morning WIB. apart from that is splendid

The room was newly decorated, spacious, incredibly comfortable, and quiet; no sound was heard from the road. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. The breakfast buffet was also outstanding, with a wide variety of delicious options. I highly recommend this hotel.

- V1128HItimothyd (2/5): Very poor customer service, better hotel across the road - Absolutely abysmal experience. The check-in process was so bad, i ended up aborting the booking and moving to a different hotel. Given I travel roughly 50-70 days a year for business, I have never done this before. The process of adding my Marriott membership (titanium elite status!) was problematic, but the turning point was the absolute indifference of the staff. The whole check-in process was not positive from the start, but once we got into the process of adding my membership it turned very negative. From the look and feel if the hotel, this does not seem to be worth staying at without some good customer experience to boost it. As a comparison, I checked in to the Sari Pacific across the road, also Marriott and at a similar price point. The difference was noticeable. Smart well presented hotel, with a seamless and friendly experience. Maybe the FP management can walk over and take some notes. My advice, stay there instead.

- S3582MJahmadb (2/5): Customer service should reflect brand standards and loyalty recognition - As a Titanium Elite member, I have always enjoyed staying at this property and I was very happy with my recent stay in Room 1511. The upgraded modern suite was excellent, and the welcome drink was a very nice touch. These gestures are exactly why I keep coming back. However, I’m very disappointed with the customer service experience during check-in. I arrived on a late flight, so my family came earlier to check in first. Surprisingly, they were not allowed to check in and were told they must wait until I personally arrived. This has never happened to me anywhere else within the Marriott chain. At W Bangkok, Westin Jakarta, and Le Meridien Jakarta, my family was always able to check in first, and if the room wasn’t ready, they were invited to wait comfortably in the lounge. At Four Points Thamrin, they were not allowed to check in at all. For a hotel where I have stayed many, many times, this was extremely disappointing and far below expected loyalty recognition. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this situation was simply unacceptable. Customer service should reflect brand standards and loyalty recognition — especially for elite members who repeatedly choose this property. Still, I hope this feedback helps management improve training for the front office team, because I genuinely love this hotel and would like to continue staying
- Biju (5/5): Location Bliss, Earplugs and Sleep distress! - The hotel's location is a major plus, offering convenient access to local attractions and Central business district. The in-dining food was another highlight; I thoroughly enjoyed the quality and variety of the meals throughout my stay. The main issue was the noise level. Due to the hotel's close proximity to the main street, there was a consistent flow of traffic noise. Additionally, its nearness to a mosque meant that the adzan calls were also quite loud, especially during the night and early morning hours. To the management's credit, they were aware of the issue and provided earplugs as a mitigation measure. While this was a thoughtful gesture, it wasn't an effective long-term solution compared to investing in proper soundproofing for the rooms. Ultimately, the noise made it impossible for me to sleep through the night, and I had to request a room change. The staff handled the room move efficiently, which I appreciated. The hotel is currently undergoing lobby renovations. This means the makeshift reception is located on the sixth-floor restaurant. The front desk executives were somewhat hidden behind a large column, making the check-in process a bit confusing and adding to the "mystery" of finding the service desk. In summary, while the location and dining are excellent, be mindful of the noise and renovation disruptions if you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise while sleeping!

For the amount paid, I would be better off at staying at neighboring hotels which has better rooms and food options for breakfast.

- Krishan (4/5): - Firstly the aircon was hardly cold. Even after reducing to the lowest temperature possible. Secondly the lobby is on the 6th floor and I got the room on the 7th. The noise was so unbearable that I could only fall asleep at 3am. The windows are not soundproof and the hotel is aware of it. That’s why they provide earplugs. But I’ve not checked into a hotel so that I’ll use earplugs to sleep. This is totally unacceptable. I would suggest not to book this hotel at all. Pay a little extra and go to a better sleep full hotel.

- Brendan (8/5): Great location and pleasant staff, but wrong decision to get a room with pillar. - This is a great location, opposite Sarinah and other eateries. The staff were friendly and helpful. The F&B staff during breakfast were very pleasant, especially Yola, who introduces me to some booster shot during breakfast. She even offered a takeaway cup of the booster drink. Kudos to her great hospitality. Loved the fact that you can choose the variety of Indomie for breakfast. Room service was quick as well, and it took around 30 to 35 mins to get the food. Much, much faster than other hotels that I've stayed before. During check in, the staff had asked if I'm fine to have a room with a pillar in it. I thought the room would be big enough that the pillar wouldn't be problem, but I was wrong. The room was quite small, with the pillar right in between the working table and TV. It makes the room feel even smaller. Requested to change the room, but no update from service desk, probably no other available room. Lighting in the room could be brighter and maybe due to the pillar smack right in the middle of the room, it feels quite dark at night, with all lights turned on. The speed of the free wifi were inconsistent. On my second day, it was quite slow and lagging.

- 57verat (10/5): Staycation due to home renovation - Stayed for 5 nights - clean room, delicious breakfast, strategic location and wonderful staffs (thanks to Ibu Cindy for the good price, Ibu Citra and her front desk team and Fakiah & the cleaning service team that always dedicated to make-up my room regularly):) Love to come back again! note: noisy sound at saturday night (live music show at the sarinah mall) - although it's fun to watch from the window room:)

There is also a bus station exactly infornt of the hotel for those who prefer to raom the city using their public transport. Since there was an ongoing renovation in the hotel, the morning was filled with constructions works activity noises. The hotel could atleast informed us in advance that there is an ongoing renovation works,

- Mano (5/5): disappointing for a Marriott. - I learned they are under renovation, but I think starting work at 7 am is a bit too early. The room is unfinished, with paint and details lacking, which is disappointing for a Marriott.
