• Nienke (10/5): Geweldig, dit voelde echt als vakantie! - Het is bijna niet in woorden te beschrijven, de Coot Club is zo’n bijzonder concept en alles klopt. Het was onze eerste keer maar zeker niet de laatste, we hebben enorm genoten! De vele mieren in onze kamer waren minder :-(
• Laura (6/5): War gut würden wir aber nicht nochmal buchen - Tolle Freizeitmöglichkeiten, sehr nettes und zuvorkommendes Personal. Extra conservation fee von 1300 rand. Fehlende Anfahrtsbeschreibung (die letzten 5km gehen nur über einen Schotterweg mit starken Rillen und Schlaglöchern). Die Sauberkeit war nur ausreichend und es gab keine Klimaanlage.
• Tinashe (10/5): Exquisite! - Wasn't so sure what to expect, my goodness, this club is an absolute gem, exquisite! Beautiful location, facilities, the views and centrally, excellent staff. Breakfast, dinner, drinks and the whole ambience excellent. Will go back there anytime. Exceptionally well-designed for families too. Liked it all, pity we didn't stay longer!

• Charlotte (10/5): Best place in the world!!! - The staff is sooo friendly and helpful, just wow. They were so kind to our young children and nothing was too much for them. They went above and beyond. The activity team boys were super friendly and energetic. They were always thinking of fun things for our family and taking the weather into consideration. The chef is out of this world - all the meals were incredible and the menu was different every evening. The rooms/houses/clubhouse/outdoors/everywhere !!…sooo nicely decorated and put together. We really didn’t want to leave and will absolutely come back every year! With or without children! Good to know that some of the houses are a bit further from the clubhouse which means you need to walk a little longer, over an unpaved path - for parents with kids in strollers it was sometimes a bit of a challenge ;)

• Natalie (6/5): Overall a great stay, thank you. - Beautiful surroundings with abundant birdlife, extremely friendly and accommodating staff, and some gluten-free food options available. Overall a great stay. The only downside was that our unit was located next to the large kids’ pool, which made it a little noisy at times. If we stayed again, we’d definitely request a room further away for a quieter experience.

• Sandra (10/5): Perfekter Urlaub im Coot Club. Man könnte ewig dort bleiben. - Wow! Es war einfach alles perfekt. Köstliches Essen- das Frühstück unter den schönen alten Bäumen, sowie das gebuchte Abendessen. Alles war frisch und wundervoll zubereitet. Die Gastgeber sind alle so herzlich und man fühlt sich direkt Zuhause. Die Anlage ist naturbelassen, gepflegt und wunderschön. Unsere Unterkunft, ein kleines Steinhaus mit Hottub und einer fantastischen Aussicht auf die Berge, haben wir sehr genossen und haben wunderbar geschlafen. Toll war auch mit den Kajaks die Lagoone zu erkunden oder mit den dort vorhandenen Fahrrädern zum Strand zu radeln. Besonders Familien mit Kindern werden dieses Hotel lieben. Aber auch Paare ohne Kinder können hier wunderschön Urlaub machen. Es gab nichts.

• Lauren (10/5): Unforgettable experience. - Everything was absolutely amazing. The attention to detail in the decor, the food and the location in general. The staff were incredibly friendly helpful and knowledgeable. The service was impeccable. From start to finish it was an unforgettable experience. The conservation fee that we were charged on top of the quoted price. I didnt mind having to pay it but I was not aware we would be charged which was a bit of a shock at the he end of the day. It would have been better if this was made known upfront. Also to be charged extra for the vegetarian dinner option is a bit weird.

The facilities and communal areas where you can choose to spend some time, other than in the very comfortable accommodation is delightful. We had beautiful weather which definitely made enjoying the outdoors facilities spectacular. The staff were superb. Having the option to eat on-site makes for a very convenient stay.

• Jola (10/5): It’s so instagrammably perfect you might actually switch off your phone to just fully enjoy and be present - A perfectly designed slice of heaven on earth, this is a hideaway worth discovering! We instantly realised we should have booked for longer.

Everything was amazing Unfortunately the road was damaged and muddy due to the storm which require to park your car in different location and they have arranged a transportation for you. • Julien (10/5): Coot club, cool place, go there! 10/10!! - Everything! Go there and you will not regret. Take the gravel street as the beginning of an adventure in this historical accommodation! We and our kids especially liked: - the cottages - the play room - the restaurant - the jetti and the sundowners at the jetti (our kids preferred the crisps and the dried mangoes anyways) - the trip with the 4x4 to the beach with Becky - The self guided hikes with Google earth - … You can feel the new spirit of the coot club and the spook house, please keep it that way!! Nothing, looking forward to the renewals of the cottages though.

• India (9/5): We can't wait to return! - Coot Club is a wonderful addition to the south coast of South Africa. The boathouses are divine - beautifully furnished with extraordinary views. The Spookhuis is a gem - and those milkwoods around the dining area are priceless. The pizzas on Friday nights are perfect and the light lunch was just what we wanted after a long walk to the sea and a kayak. Ben and Michele were both very warm and welcoming and helped pack cooler boxes and organize dinner last minute on the first night. While not a game changer, it would be nice to have some private outdoor space at the Boathouses, or some seating outside. We cooked dinner there on the second night, but as there was no braai, we had to make another plan. As well, the door between the main bedroom and kitchen was in an awkward position and kept sticking.

Loved the staff who had empathy, wit, humour, made us feel at home and anticipated our needs well. A lot of flies during meal prep in the home (not at the Clubhouse)

It’s perfect for younger kids but as adults you’ll have just as much fun. Only thing I can think of is that the dinner was a bit late (18:30) for little kids. It’s be perfect if dinner was possible from 17:00 onwards.

• Bingbing (10/5): 世外桃源的酒店 - 虽然开车经过10公里的土石路，但到了小屋，你有世外桃源的感觉，非常美丽静谧的住所，美丽的湖水、壮丽的大山，一家人住上2天最为合适。（记得带上烧烤的食物就最棒了）冲凉房超有特色，原始的感觉与大自然融为一体！
