It is nestled on the north end of island away from all of the high rises so its at a very quite and relaxing location. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful throughout our trip with whatever our needs where. We also ate at the restaurant the last two nights the service and food was incredible. Highly recommend!!

Pool very clean - there is construction going on which was a little noisy, but not too bad. Can definitively also recommend the restaurant - excellent food. Perfect for people who like to snorkel as all the spots are in walking distance of hotel. Super Food supermarket is also close by and has great European products. Plenty of good restaurants in the area and just a short drive to Eagle Beach

Our shower seemed to be missing a door, so water splashed everywhere outside of the shower. The controller arrows and 'ok' for the HDMI source 1 (tv apps) never worked, so we could only watch cable. Neither issue was a big deal at all, so we did not notify the property of this during our stay. This property was SOOOO quiet, it was a nice retreat from our loud, busy lives. The entire property is gorgeous and leaves you with such a sense of tranquilty. The pool and solarium are a wonderful area to take a break from salt water. There are beaches close by that are within walking distance.

Tucked away on the northern coast, it’s perfect for couples wanting to disconnect and focus on each other. The atmosphere is intimate, serene, and far from the busy resort crowds. Breakfast was incredible—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Dinner was just as impressive. We highly recommend planning at least one night in; it was one of our favorite meals on the island. Arashi Beach, our go-to, is just minutes away, and the hotel offers complimentary rides, which made beach days effortless. The rooms were spotless and beautifully designed, with a super comfy bed, rose petals and champagne on arrival, and a stunning outdoor shower. Every detail felt intentional and elevated the stay. We had zero complaints and are already recommending Ocean Z to friends. Just a heads-up: taxis can take 20 minutes since it’s up north, so booking ahead helps. A truly special place—romantic, relaxing, and worth every moment.

We had never been to Aruba so we were so happy we picked the ocean z. It is a small quaint hotel but very close to all the action. We rented a car and the parking was free. We met some amazing staff including Carolina, Maria and Andres. It was our anniversary and they made it so special with decorations in our room and in the restaurant. It was absolutely the best of the best.

Both times we have visited, we have felt like we were the only ones there because of how attentive the staff was to us. The complimentary breakfast is delicious, it is within walking distance from Arashi Beach, and the entire hotel experience is clean and inviting. The infinity pool is a nice little escape if you are not quite ready to head to the beach yet. If you are planning a beach day, they will provide you with beach chairs, towels, and a cooler with ice. Don't forget to try their amazing restaurant, you WILL NOT be disappointed! Cannot wait for our next trip, until then, see you soon!

Good: - Amazingly good staff; very attentive and very prompt - Very close to Tres Tapes (snorkeling for turtles) - Quiet and away from the "party zone" of Aruba (we loved that) Room for improvement: - We had 2 pool suites; bathrooms were awesome. However you literally can't use the toilet from 7:30am - 11am because it's so hot. Maybe a screen should be put in the bathroom that can be drawn down - The lack of privacy when using the pool or stepping out of the rooms and the dining room is right across is very strange - Modify breakfast menu once every couple of weeks or every month? Even though we loved our stay, the staff, etc., we would not go back to Ocean Z - It's too expensive for what it offers - One day there was a party which took over the entire hotel and we were informed about it, the day off. We could not even park our car in the small parking lot We understand it's a small hotel (7-8 rooms), but when one is paying ~$500/room/night, one does expect a little bit more

• Jarrod (10/5): - Our stay at Ocean Z was exceptional. Eva and her staff make sure that your every need is taken care of. (special shout out to Maria and the bartender!) The property is beautiful and the showers in your room are addicting. They are open air showers and you get this indescribable Aruban breeze that you have to experience. The food at the Ocean Z restaurant is very good too. I ate there twice. Once for the pasta (with white sauce) and the most delicious paella! If Ocean Z has any drawbacks, they would just be two things - the glass bathroom can get very hot - a small price to pay for that shower. My deodorant melted so i had buy a new one and we kept some meltable toiletries in the room. Again, a small price to pay for that magnificent shower. The only other thing I might mention is location. Its a little further away from the "tourist action." Thats probably a selling point for many people. There is a great beach in walking distance - that they will also drive you to - but if you want to get to some of the other beaches, bars or restaurants, you will need a taxi or to drive. Taxis are plentiful and do come fast so thats helpful. So for service, ambience, food, and those showers!!! - Ocean Z made our vacation very special and I highly recommend it.

What a fantastic place to stay as well as food that’s offered. The owner made it a point to greet all the guests and check on you every day to make sure all t your needs were met. Loved this place perfect for a quiet and smaller place to stay.

It is right across from Malmok beach and Tres Tapi for easy access to snorkeling. The staff and food are beyond compare. We ate breakfast daily and had dinner twice during our stay. Our best meals were at Ocean Z.

I celebrated my 40th birthday here and can't say enough great things about Ocean Z. And the food is out of this world - the restaurant see visitors from all over the island which is telling to how amazing the menu is - get the paella and you won't be disappointed!! Beautiful stay :)
• aparna (10/5): - Great location and lovely atmosphere. If you are looking for quiet no fuss relaxation, this is your place. The lovely, Miami like interior courtyard, nice clean rooms and open bathroom are all geared towards helping guests feel a zen like calm:) the staff is nice and helpful, just remember that umbrellas at Arashi beach cost 70 but it is the best beach and so worth it. We did go to ritz beach and it had seaweed and none of the vibe of Arashi. So pay the money and hang out at Arashi you won’t regret it. For us the shampoo etc were not luxuries as much as the late check out and general freedom to relax. That stuff can be bought, time is the real rarity. Highly recommend this small hotel!good restaurant, extremely pricy kind you, but nice food and slow service. No one rushes which isn’t a bad thing! Breakfast was also nice- no waste and enough food! We shall be back for sure if the hotel maintains its chill, sleepy energy!

• Victor (8/5): - Overall, this was a serene and unique property. The vaulted bedroom ceiling, semi-private balcony pool, and modern looking bathroom were very enjoyable and memorable. However, some of the closet drawers were broken or didn't slide well, there was no exhaust fan for the bathroom, and the wind made constant noises at night (need to improve this). The staff was fantastic and most accommodating though. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was beyond kind and would offer to help with anything before you'd even think about needing help. Breakfast every morning was absolutely beautiful and delicious. Something to look forward to every morning. They heard us talking about going down to the beach during breakfast, and brought us a cooler with ice and 2 beach chairs, and we didnt even ask! It was perfect. Dinner is also very good. Can't say enough good things about this hotel. This was our first trip to Aruba, and we plan on coming back. When we do, I won't even bother looking at another hotel. This place is it for us. Special thank you to Maria and Herman for all they do!

• Amy (8/5): Restful, relaxing trip to Aruba - The service here is absolutely exceptional. Each person at Ocean Z knew our names, were eager and happy to help with anything at all. The food was excellent, the pool was really nice, and location is superb, if you're looking for a quiet, relaxing, nature-first experience. We has a delicious fresh breakfast each morning, walked to the beach, snorkeled with fish and sea turtles (!!) and came back to relax in the pool, have a glass of wine on our balcony, etc. The only reasons we didn't give this 5 stars is because our room (the mini master suite) was much smaller than anticipated, and unfortunately there was a sewage smell/situation which was unpleasant for a full 24 hours of our time here. Other than that, the owners, mgmt, folks in service, etc. were phenomenal!

• Tobias Andrew (10/5): - I booked OceanZ for a surprise 25th wedding anniversary for my wife and I. This was both of our first time in Aruba. I looked at several hotels online, but I had specific requirements that I wanted from this trip, and the traditional hotel, didn't really appeal to me figuring it would be just another flavor of the same thing (i.e most chain hotels), in a different country. I discovered OceanZ in my search and obviously the reviews played a big part in my selection. But the pictures showed atheistics that I felt my wife and I would enjoy, also the proximity to the ocean. There are different room types to choose from. There was only one Ocean view room available for the 8 days I wanted it, but it had a nice balcony so we could watch the sunsets (which were amazing btw). The room was cozy, super clean, bed very comfortable and well maintained. Fresh beach towels each day; and the salt water pool and patio area was awesome. We would swim before breakfast, and usually in the evening! The included breakfast was excellent, made fresh, the Egg's Oz was my particular favorite! The hotel is located in the quieter north west side of the island, away from the hustle and bustle of the Hotel Area. I'd recommend renting a small rental car and zipping around the island. If your considering this hotel, then you must already know the kind of experience your looking for, so do it!
• Olga (10/5): - This business (boutique hotel, high end restaurant and a fashion boutique) is a hidden gem in the Carribean. My daughter and I had an amazing 12 day stay in the bigger pool suite (room 10) in July. Amazing experience enhanced by professionalism, very wam hospitality and kindness. Comfortable, clean and chic hotel room. Stunning guest pool downstairs and a romantic smaller private pool accessed from the pool suite upstairs. The staff provided exceptional service with grace and a smile. Owner Eva is a visionary with an immense talent, immecable taste in fashion and decor and deep knowledge of how to run a high end boutique hotel business and restaurant. Special thanks to GM Leonicita. She is very professional, engaging, kind, smiley and attentive. No request was too big or too small. I loved our conversations over breakfast each morning. A lifetime of memories was created. Many thanks to everyone at Ocean Z! Everyone made us feel welcome - like we were at home - and the food and cocktails/drinks at the restaurant were absolutely amazing! We will be back!
• Louis Frederick Funsten (10/5): - My wife and I just stayed at the ocean z hotel in Aruba. We were in suite 11 with an amazing view of the ocean. This hotel is beautiful. Very clean, quiet and away from the busy tourist areas. But if you want to go there it's only a 5 min drive up the road. The beach is a 3 min drive or 10 min walk. What sets this place apart by far is the staff. The staff is awesome. So attentive and friendly. Especially Maria. She took care of whatever we needed at any time. They had breakfast for us every morning and having dinner in their restaurant at night was a great experience. The only negative I can say is that the jets in our private pool were broke and could not be fixed until our last day. Small price to pay for how amazing everything was. I highly recommend and will absolutely stay there again. We loved it.
• Robert (8/5): - Well I was under the impression based on all of the travel apps that there was one room left. Well this was not the case. I was the only one in the hotel. The entire hotel was vacant. It is not walkable to any convenience stores or shopping. The beaches there are full of coral reef and rocks. It is across the street from the beach. The breakfast was perfect. If you choose dinner at their restaurant you can expect to pay some awfully high prices compared to the rest of the island. I asked Leoncita if there were any places to shop and she mentioned to me that I shouldn't be shopping on my vacation. Regardless she sent me to a rundown area in the city which made me uncomfortable once I left my car and walked to the shopping areas. I had to find out on my own that there was a hotel zone which was 5 minute drive from where the hotel was. It was very active and full of tourists and action. And this is the type of vacation that I wanted. So I decided to leave the hotel and transferred to the Hyatt Regency. I was not given any refund but I did not expect it. I was so unhappy there because I was all by myself that I actually paid for another hotel in an area where there were people and assortments of restaurants and food and shopping etc. I cannot complain about the hotel it was a very beautiful hotel and a wonderful staff. It would be a very romantic hotel for couples. I blame myself for going to a boutique hotel. It just wasn't for me. I still enjoyed my stay while I was there.
• David (10/5): - So first I’d like to apologize for this late review as upon returning from my vacation I was extremely busy. I knew I was eventually gonna get to it. I would like to begin by sayin thank you to Leoncia who made this a dream vacation from the moment we got there. It was our 30th anniversary and she made sure it was memorable. Her service and attention to detail made this by far our best trip and experience ever. From the preparation and decoration of our room to the delicious meals in the dining area, it was all amazing. Leo cita serviced us personally during breakfast, and even that was impressive. A week for us did not seem like enough time as we felt so comfortable and well taken care of. It honestly felt like we were part of the family. I would like to express my gratitude to the owners Eva and Zulay whom I must say weee super attentive and personable. Eva also made it clear that if I needed anything, that I could even knock on her door with any questions or concerns. I would also like to recognize the staff on premises they made our stay so comforting. Thank you to Odra, Michael, and Ediney. This is a place that I am looking forward to returning to!
• Donika (10/5): - We travel alot and stay in very nice resorts but decided to try something different this time. Ocean Z really spoiles us and has changed our prospective on accommodations whwn traveling. Our stay was so personalized and special and with only 13 rooms, very private. It was like am oasis from the hustle and bustle. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The bathroom shower is outdoors and adds such a romantic vibe and great for pics. The staff is amazing and truly provide hospitality that spoils you rotten. Leoncita and Maria were the absolute best!!!!! They truly worked together to make sure we had reservations, excursions, taxis, and a table set every morning for breakfast. We got a chance to met the owner Eva so that was exciting and her son. Im not sure if he was working or there to relax with his family but he helped several times and was SUPER nice! If you are looking for a personal experience, Ocean Z is the place. It's in a great location, the restaurant hands down was the best food we had the whole week. Seasoned to perfection! Thus hotel is truly one of a kind.
