• Susan (8/5): - Very comfortable. Could have used more coffee pods for the coffee machine as we were there a couple nights. Lots of stairs to the top floor so don’t bring a heavy suitcase and make sure you aren’t handicapped. Perfect temperature. Would stay again.

We were on the 4th floor and with no elevator and 2 50lbs bags that was quite the effort. No reception until the afternoon so when we arrived we had a little issue at the start just trying to get our bags into the hotel for storage because no one was there at the front desk. We liked the hotel location, room was dark and quiet

We had a room on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator so that should be considered if you have difficulty climbing stairs. We could never get the room cool enough to be totally comfortable and the weather was hot but not excessive during our stay.

Ambiance of room is very befitting of your Venice vacation. In the immediate area of Rialto and St. Marks. Reception is only occupied from 3-11. Message them if arriving outside of those hours to receive a passcode to open the electronic lock to your room.

A lot of steps to get luggage up so pack light! No milk in fridge or room so you need to buy some if required. Part of hotel a minute away where you check in/out and can leave bags

If you are coming to the train station, I suggest getting off at Rialto Mercato (only 1 bridge with luggage), in stead of San State (4-5 bridges). The hotel was very responsive and helpful with everything we needed! As others have warned, there is no elevator, so make sure you are ready to haul those suitcases! It was a great stay. The master bedroom door didn’t close and latch nor the deadbolt for the apartment. The shower gel pump did not work in the shower and the induction stove would not operate. It would error and not heat up.

Definitely get your steps in when you stay on the third floor, 63 each way. The only little thing was, It didn’t feel like the floors had been fully swept or vacuumed. Bed sheets and the towels seemed clean. I would definitely stay here again.

• Kimberly (10/5): - Loved this apartment. We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit. Perfect for a family of four. First bedrooom slept two. Second bedroom was small with a twin bed but was perfect for my teenage daughter. The kitchen area also had a twin bed. The room had doors on both sides so my son had a mini suite to himself. The ambiance was very cool with wooden beams on the ceiling. Even the location was great!

• Jeffrey (6/5): - There was a planned power outage from 9am to 4pm on one of the days of our stay. The hotel knew this in advance of our trip but did not notify us. They also did not offer any reimbursement for this. The front door and the room door open via electric security pad. So during the power outage, you had to leave your door open to be able to access your room OR walk to another hotel to have a staff member walk back with you to unlock your room door (they would not give you the key).

• bernard (6/5): - the check in was confusing as when we arrived at the hotel it was a sign to go to another hotel. at first no one was at reception. then the persons came along and gave us the access code. when we arrived inside the room, the room was not clean so went back to the other hotel and i was told “check in is not before 3pm” but they told us the room was ready. the fact that the reception is not inside the hotel is not an issue unless you need some help the room was nice and i was a bit disappointed with the shower as the shower head was not working properly in the same time, the tv is a nice to have but no channel in english overall a nice experience

The hotel was very clean and is an easy 20 minute walk from the train station, and is super convenient to all other sites in Venice. The staff (Mildred) was great and super helpful and very eager to answer our questions and offer us suggestions. Breakfast was great too! Thank you for a great stay!

The woman that checked us in seemed a little scattered and she didn't explain much to us. It was confusing to find the office. Once we found the office, we checked in and then she led a group of different groups to the building and brought us up to our rooms.

Got there by the ATV in the S Stae and then you have to walk like 15 minutes to get to the apartment. You have to go by stairs one floor. The property looks in good shape, the insides are ok, but loved it was walking distance from everything. The only downside is in the reservation said I was only due $12 at the property and when I arrived I had to pay almost $50!!!! Too bad they dont update their information.
• RHEA (4/5): - First of all, read the direction on how to get to this place. You will have to go to another property to get access to your room. There was no elevator, and we were assigned a room on the 3rd floor with very steep stairs. There was no phone in the room to contact the front desk, so we had to keep walking to a different area just to ask questions. The safety deposit box didn’t work, and the TV remote wasn’t working either—probably due to dead batteries.

Our 2 bed apartment was spacious, very clean, nicely presented, modern and located in a perfect location for our 4 day trip. On a quiet street just a few seconds from the water and the fruit/fish market and only a 5 minute walk to Rialto bridge. Asela at the front desk was always friendly and helpful. Very pleased we booked this apartment and would definitely book again if we return to Venice!

The host goes above and beyond to ensure that you not only have everything you need at the apartment, but that you enjoy Venice itself. The room I stayed in was clean, beautifully decorated and very spacious. The communal kitchen was also very clean and the coffee maker was easy to use. Rainfall shower head was brilliant! Great to have a big screen tele and Netflix, as a solo traveller who wanted early nights and early starts. I loved that I just punched a code in to get into the building and my room, rather than having a key. The view as you step out is gorgeous (a typical Venetian alleyway to your right, The Grand Canal and Galleria Giorgio Franchetti Alla Ca’ Doro to your left. The location was perfect. I went all over Venice and all things considered, the location of Polo’s Treasures was second to none for me. The host also gave me a bottle of Prosecco as I was their a for a while. This was so welcome, as I arrived in a storm and wanted to stay in in style while it passed. Very big comfortable bed with lovely white sheets and plenty of towels. Would I stay here again? YES! Things to consider: You may not get a code until the day you arrive and the host is not always there. However, he was easy to reach. The stairs are fine as long as you’re fit and young but I can imagine anyone other than this would have trouble as there’s 3 flights. Don’t use the hotspot on the room phone to get internet, use the free wifi.

Beautifully decorated, great size rooms, very comfortable bed with top quality linen, towels, toiletries and full size hair dryer! This apartment has a cook top, microwave and fridge if you want to cook for yourself. The location was great too, just a few hundred metres from the Rialto Bridge, restaurants, shops, food market etc. This apartment also has proper airconditioners (not just fans like some places) in both bedrooms and the kitchen/lounge, which was just what we needed after a long day of very hot sightseeing! I can not fault this apartment, highly recommend it for everyone, but note the is no elevator, we were on the 2nd floor, my 79yr old Mum was ok with the stairs though. Put this one on your favourites list!

Hardest working property manager I saw the entire trip - some nights he was there at 11pm. Check-in was easy (don't panic if takes 5+ minutes for him to answer the door as he was checking in other guests when we arrived). Room was spacious & comfortable, plus he took care of any requests immediately. Had stairs so had to carry up luggage but assisted us, and stairs were common at most lodging in Italian cities. Received a fabulous dinner recommendation (was our favorite meal in Italy)!! Hope to return and have already recommended to friends.

If arriving by cruise ship it’s aboit 80 euros water taxi, best way. By water bus takes much longer and lot of walking. Otherwise we had a great stay.

A few steps from the water but no view of the water from our room. This is an apartment style- not a hotel with a lobby or a 24 hour concierge, but the size of the apartment makes up for that.
