- megmelchar (4/5): If only we had known. - I'm still shaking my head, and to think we were worried about the road noise as per TripAdvisor reviews goes. The hotel had buses show up and the people herding the halls, slamming their doors, stomping on the ceilings, banging into the walls ALL while trying to sleep was absolutely horrendously PAINFUL! If we had known about the buses and the people, we would have stayed elsewhere and not have to go through that. It was not mentioned at all during check in. The breakfast in the morning was so crowded, not a place to sit, eat and enjoy a cup of coffee before heading out on our way to a 4 hour drive home. When mentioning this upon checkout, if course the gal said....ohhh, I'll mention this to my manager and of course she wasn't there for the stampede, I wish we weren't there either. - Jennifer (10/5): Perfection! - Everything! The beds were super comfortable. The pillows and sheet were crisp and clean. The breakfast was AMAZING! But my absolute favorite thing was how cold our room was upon arrival. Usually we get to our hotel and have to wait a few hours after turning on the air for it to be comfortable. But when we walked in it was cool already. It made us feel special and cared for by the staff, that on such a sweltering, sunny day, they made sure even our room temp was perfect! 10/10 Nothing

- Alfonso (1/5): Bad - The staff was very friendly. They took care of accommodation quickly. They made sure the breakfast bar was restocked regularly. The whole night from around 11 pm to 7 am, a group was partying down below us somewhere, and they were fighting horribly. We kept getting woke up all night. Nobody told them to quiet down, and we were afraid that we'd get shot or something if we contacted the front desk. The area wasn't the greatest. This was the first time in Hermiston, Oregon, for us. We will not be returning. I used to work for Clarion (once Holdiday Inn Express), and they would use cameras down hallways to make sure of safety issues or party's going on. They would quickly tell the guest to keep it down if it was within resting hours. This did not happen here. We leave this review to warn about the area. We never asked for a refund and didn't expect one, so this negative review isn't because of those reasons it is solely based upon the area and the no cameras to keep monitoring loud groups plus our experience while trying to rest especially having our baby with us.

- Yvonne (3/5): Don't stay here if noise is an issue - Coffee was excellent and breakfast offering very good. The traffic noise was intolerable. Sound insulation none existent. What would otherwise be a fine hotel stay was miserable due to inability to sleep because of the noise. A real shame.

- Matthew (10/5): Perfect for the trip - Second time staying at this one. Came in for Rock the Locks and was a good location. Food close and only about 15 from the venue. Hotel was clean and comfortable, breakfast was decent. Overall happy with the stay/location.
