The food in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. It seems that many of the guests are repeat customers, and this is a testament to the quality of service. La maquinaria empezaba a trabajar antes de las seis de la mañana y resultaba muy molesto. Hay que aceptar que pasen estas cosas, pero un hotel de esa categoria deberia avisar a sus cluentes de esa circunstancia.

There was minor building work nearby, so a bit of noise in the morning Also some plumbing issues in the sink, but they fixed it. I'd like to see free water re-fill more in Bali, not good having to buy water bottles all the time Probably a little over-priced for what you get and the restaurant was also expensive, so didn't go

First, we had the room above the bar, which was noisy and, at some stage, no water at all. The room needs an upgrade. We were able to change to a villa (Bayshore), which was much more comfortable. However, the infinity pool was dirty and very cold.

Could not swim at the beach. Lovely grounds. We did not get the rooms we had booked and so two of us were upgraded. I was given a villa where the aircon didn't work. Thank heavens for fans. Friends were given a 2b/r residence where the mold was so strong in the main room they had to move to the second bedroom.

The food at the resort was exceptional, value for money and the staff were friendly , helpful and easy to communicate with . The owner of the resort was also friendly polite and easy to chat with. • David (9/5): overnight stay on trip north. - booked pool view bungalow for 1 night but was upgraded to a villa with sea view. villa was very nice and comfortable, wish I had booked longer. staff very welcoming and understanding of English good. breakfast also very good.wi fì OK . would definitely stay again but need transport to centre of town. restaurant across road good for alternative local food. local sellers can easily get access and pester you. this could be a security issue as well.
• Jenna (9/5): Nice resort and facilities, good location by the beach. - Nice very resort. Pools and restaurant were fantastic, and staff were very friendly and accommodating. We originally booked the poolside room - it was a converted sports bar located on top of the restaurant. The room had a nice outlook, although we found it was very noisy from the restaurant below, the fridge was extremely loud (we had to unplug it) and live music from next door channel straight into the room. We raised this with staff on arrival - we spent the night in the room and spoke to the manager the following morning. She was aware and facilitated a room change for us at no extra charge. We were much happier with the villa we moved to. Only downfall of the villa was a hole in the bathroom roof which flooded the bathroom..

• Summer (10/5): Great location. Excellent staff. Huge clean room - We really loved our stay here. We actually stayed 1 extra night. The room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The price was fantastic. We were also lucky enough to receive a room upgrade to a pool view bungalow. Nothing major, but would of liked a hand towel and face washer.

• Magda (9/5): Nice place in Candidasa - Beautiful complex, delicious breakfast. Turtle ponds instead of fish. The hotel has everything you need on your vacation - spa, laundry services, transport, restaurant on site as well as restaurants nearby. Quite remote location so ensure you have everything you need because there are no shops around. Gojek or grab for shopping also doesn't work in that area.
• Anja (9/5): Superb - Loved the exceptional service and friendliness of all the staff. Highly recommend the laundry service. Great quiet location, lots of great restaurants and things to do. We got a free upgrade from a pool bungalow to a residence with pool, which was amazing. The last three days we got another upgrade to one of the seaview villas. In our residence and seaview villa were a few things that were broken and needed maintenance (broken door stopper, broken towel rail, broken handles of shower faucets) however it wasn't something vital that would stop us enjoying our holiday. We booked quite a few tours through the reception and we found that some receptionists were way more knowledgeable about tours, locations and prices than others.

No complaints, but we never managed to find a free pool lounger (it is high season though)

• Reuben (6/5): Fell short of expectations - All the staff were very pleasant. It had a large fridge with a freezer. The laundry service is very good. The garden view room had no garden view, and the wifi was rubbish. There was some kind of large animal living in the roof which continually woke us up, even after the staff were made aware if it made no effort to remedy it. The shower only dribbled water due to no pressure. You cannot swim at the beach in front of the resort. I know it is Bali, but there were just too many little things that constantly needed attending too which detracted from our holiday.
• Breeze (10/5): Beautiful oasis in Candidasa. - The gardens and grounds are immaculate. Sooo beautiful. And the pools are perfect. The daily breakfast was great and restaurant is reasonably priced. The staff are so accomodating and friendly. Made our stay very relaxing and complete.

• Mariette (7/5): Hideaway - Friendly and helpful staff who were very accomodating. Bayside is within walking distance of the many shops and restaurants of Candidasa but not to close that the road noise would keep you awake. The nightly turn down service along with a spray to ensure no mosquitoes in our room. My personal preference would be to have a softer mattress. The resort does require a bit of a spruce such as painting, checking shower heads and drains. Downside for the Candidasa area is the lack of swimming beaches within the town.
• Noelene (10/5): Beautiful resort with good location, amazing staff and amenities. Everything you need in one place - We originally booked for 2 pool side bungalows and were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment with private pool. Thank you. It was beautiful and comfortable with everything we needed. Staff were friendly and nothing ever a problem. Even going the extra mile with a nightly turn down service. I celebrated my birthday while there and received a surprise cake with candles. We expected to be a distance walk from the main centre but had everything near by. Yummy Warungs just out on the main road and fabulous coffee at loaf cafe across the road. The walk to town the main centre is a short 10 min stroll.There is also a restaurant at the hotel which we ate at serving good food. Breakfast was excellent. The view for breakfast is ocean views. Such a relaxing oasis that you never have to leave if you choose. We stayed 3 nights and would most definitely stay again. The barista made coffee was undrinkable. A barista lesson for your staff in making coffee would be the icing on the cake for the perfect stay

• Jenny (7/5): Beautiful resort but drum festival was a bust - Beautiful position. Lovely bungalows and amazing staff. Good breakfast included The Drum festival that had 5 hours of drumming a day. We should have been informed this was happening as we booked Candidasa for a quiet time away. Owner gave us an hour massage per room but noise was still intolerable

• Vanessa (9/5): Very welcome as a solo traveller - Free upgrade to a lovely suite with my own pool. The hotel grounds are so lush but not too big like some places. A lot of small details and a good mini bar. Its a bit of a walk to anywhere but that’s candidasa.

The TV had a good selection of channels - when I finally got it working. The pools (there are 2) look beautiful but aren't good for people who actually want to swim. Power points in the villa weren't well positioned. The bathroom was badly planned - the sink is positioned way too far back on the bench making cleaning your teeth somewhat problematic and there's nowhere to hang a towel close to the shower.

Great pool with swim up bar. We had booked bungalows but ended up in 1st floor apartments. These were above reception so very close to the busy main road, there was a lot of traffic noise throughout the night. Location is picturesque but exploring area on foot isn’t really an option, you can’t walk along the beach and it’s on a busy main road. Nearby food options are limited, too far for grab take away (60 minutes for delivery) so can either dine in onsite restaurant or easily get a grab taxi 5 minutes to places with more options.
