- Laura (9/5): Great stay, even added an extra night - Location and comfort Rooftop is fantastic No pool/spa Added an extra night but when I went to the front desk it was more expensive to do with them than online which was frustrating, then after booking online the reservation took a while to come through to the hotel meaning I needed to go back to reception again to link the booking..it was fine, just inconvenient

- Patricia (5/5): just ok. - The room was nice. Staff were helpful. Roomtop was nice. The bathroom lighting was unacceptable- too dim! Room not far from lifts - arrival to the floor, bell too loud and when hotel guests got out of the lift at all hours of the night they were too loud!

Every encounter with staff seemed like we were bothering them or something. Stayed at quite a few 5 star’s in Melbourne & the service feels more to a 4 star standard.

- J Griffo (9/5): Great location, great staff - Great location, staff and rooftop bar. Room on the lower floor (level 2) was a bit dark due to the adjacent buildings. As a result you always needed the lights on. If you want natural light, make sure to book a room on the higher floors.

Stylish, comfortable, and perfectly located with a great atmosphere. - The location is unbeatable - right in the heart of the city and the rooms are always stylish, comfortable, and high quality. The rooftop is a standout with a great atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to unwind. It’s consistently one of my go-to hotels for both staycations (I live in outer Melbourne) and work trips. The gym is a major letdown and feels like a complete afterthought compared to the rest of the hotel. It’s small, poorly equipped, and looks like it’s been shoved into a spare storage room on the top floor rather than designed as a proper fitness space. The equipment is sub-par, and during my stay one of the two treadmills wasn’t even working. For a hotel that gets so much right, this really stands out - and if they want to compete with places like 1 Hotel down the road, this part of the offering needs a significant upgrade.

- Verheijen (6/5): Nice funky hotel but need to work on room smell hygiene. - Lovely funky hotel with industrial style bathroom in room. Unusual fun voice character in lift speaker. Location. Friendly staff ok - just need to smile more. Booked rollaway was not set up on arrival, moved us to a larger room but that had a horrible smell like flood damage. Twice Reception tried to resolve this with an ozone machine and spray to no avail. Light switch cover fell off wall which may have been dangerous.

She made us feel excited about the experience. Her bubbliness and enthusiasm was infectious. We thoroughly enjoyed the service, drinks and view. AMAZING!!

Pillow were not good for us as they were too soft but they weren’t able to offer us firm pillows. I thought this property had a pool but my fault for not checking this properly. Complimentary water should be standard in all hotels these days

The bedding/towels/soaps are of great quality. The nespresso with capa refilling were a big nice surprise. Who doesnt love a good coffee in the room? Cant think of anything
- Wayne (6/5): Looks the goods but falls way short.... - Clean, Modern with a great location. Great mini bar... The staff at the 11th floor QT rooftop bar we friendly and attentive. Our room wasn't available so we were downgraded... There is a lot of street noise (even on the 11th floor) Sirens, trams etc. I had a very disturbed sleep. The bed was too soft. (usually they are too hard for me). We were offered a small amount of money to spend within the hotel as compensation. It was our 20th wedding aniversary so with our downgraded room I couldn't give my wife here supprise bath bomb and pre packed rose petals.. :( We were given 2 hours notice before arrival of our downgrade. Upon arrival it was not even acknowleged that we were downgraded and only found we had no bath upon entering our room. The bar staff were nice but it was way too loud to sit outside with the DJ music. (My sign language is not up to snuff) We even resorted to texting each other accross the table.

The facilities in general are beginning to show signs of age. Tattered fabrics, marks on walls, sticking toilet flush.

- Paul (4/5): Superficially glam but some staff communication issues and worn room features were disppointing - Spacious room with comfortable bed and good sized bathroom and shower. Public rooms well decorated and interesting. Check in experience was poor. despite online check in room was not ready by "guaranteed" 3pm and we watched half a dozen other patrons who arrived well after us breeze through to their rooms. 3 different Reception staff advised we would be given priority but "housekeeping were behind" and the issue wasn't escalated beyond platitudes. With a 3pm check in then half an hour behind it makes for a very late check in. Upholstered cupboards and bedside table tops were worn through in our room making it look shabby.

We had no view and the staff were grumpy and not interested. The hotel itself has not been updated since i was last there 10 years ago, so what was once a cool vibey hotel is now dowdy and tired.
