Tuktuk accessible just outside the hotel and scooter rental as well ! Very good hotel for his price ! Breakfast include Room little bit small but more than enough looking at the price ! The neighbourhood is not that good (always near a port) but you don’t have any reason to walk there so anyway !

- Robert (7/5): If yiu need an overnight stop in Taglibaran, it's ok. - The location was perfect for the Ferry next day, as we were stranded during the Typhoon. The Ferry office to change our crossing, literally was across the road. The room was ok - the air con didn't sound like a 747! It's very much a journey Hotel, which was fine for 1 night. We had to choose our breakfast the night before but come morning, we could choose what we wanted, from a limited but palatable array.

- Agapito (8/5): it was okay except for the comments except mentioned above. although the staff were so kind enough to lend us a water bo - very accessible to transportation to get around the city, to laundry needs, restaurants & to move around the, city no refrigerator, for people like me who has medication that needs to be refrigerated, it’s an imperative need.hot & cold shower was inconsistent most of the time no hot shower, we have to update our room keys frequently, no hot water boiler for coffee , no hair dryer/blower.

- Sadiua (8/5): Very good - The staff was very helpful and respectful. They were quick to anticipate our needs from the guards, the Concierge to the bellhops. We had a very pleasant evening at the roof deck where we ordered a few desserts and cold drinks from the kitchen. The Turon was one of the best we ever tasted and we even ordered some to go the next day. The halo halo was also excellent. The staff that served us in the roof deck were also very courteous and attentive. The breakfast was also very good. Just make sure to confirm your previous order to make sure there is no confusion. Location was convenient and very near to the docks and shopping. The best part of Belian was the courteous and professional staff. The Belian should promote their roofdeck to the customers as it can be a very nice private area to have a meal or small get together with superb dishes from the kitchen! Nothing major or cant be improved. The floor in the shower was very slippery . A slip mat would help. Window in the main sleeping area could use a nice blackout curtain.

- 19marty69 (4/5): You get what you pay for in accommodation - We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights Due to the lack of amenities in the small standard room , we had to pay for upgrade for executive room During our stay .. the street noise during the night was to loud.. with a night club across the street & the 24/7 traffic noise ( limited sleep ) There wasn’t any hot water for showers Most rooms don’t have windows The breakfast was limited Meanwhile the staff were fantastic & the location , close to the port was convenient

The breakfast food is okay, I wished there were more protein. The housekeeping crew should not do room cleaning when guests did not request housekeeping in the first place and especially if the guests are inside the room and wish not to be disturbed. Even if you knocked on the door, it's a bit disturbing. On a good note, the front desk and breakfast crew were polite and accommodating.

- 404DavidR (8/5): Family satisfied. - We visited Tagbilaran and parts of Bohol for the second time. This time was for a family wedding and we chose the Belian hotel because of its reasonable price, family room, free parking, breakfast included and central location near the ferry port. Our visit was overall a pleasant experience. We are experienced travellers and reviewers and are glad to give this place our thumbs up. The room was clean and was made up without request and upon request to a high professional standard. We made requests for maintenance to fix two small issues with the refrigerator and the faucet. They were dealt with efficiently. All the facilities worked well. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. We did not use room service, so the included breakfast is the only kitchen-related review we can make. Considering the breakfast is offered as a complimentary service it was very reasonable, but here are one or two suggestions for improvement: 1. Food served hot should not be cold on arrival at the table, particularly the eggs. 2. Condiments (minimum salt and pepper) should be available on each table. 3. A complimentary top-up of coffee is expected, rather than having to pay in addition per cup. The standard of the breakfasts was ok. The toasted bread was good by Filipino standards and the scrambled eggs would have been very good if hot. We shall be looking forward to our next stay at this good hotel and would recommend it for families.

Shower door was off the track. Couldn't get wash cloths. Had to ask twice to get a bath mat (what is it with the slick tile floors in comfort rooms??)

The shower sliding door was not working, it could not slide. I asked for a chicken sandwich for take-away breakfast on the morning that I was leaving, there was not a single slice of chicken in the sandwich!

No bacon available the scrambled eggs and toast was fine. When I asked for a refill of coffee I was advised that it was not a hotel policy and not free. Charge extra and give improved value. Service was fine. Restaurant poor. Microwaved frozen food, again needs careful evaluation by the hotel. Dining area was virtually empty. No atmosphere. My suggestion; when business is very hard to get. Do not reduce prices. Increase prices to give quality food and good value. The position. Of the hotel is great. Walking distance from the port. A lot of very small issues that with careful viewing by the management are easily solved. Plumbing and hot water supply needs attention, faucets also old and due for replacement. Lighting bedside not good for reading. No chair for computer work. Bedside table too small. Provide tea. Coffee and kettle and charge extra for it. Staff very good

I had to check out early the next day because of my flight and I asked if I can have an early breakfast. They agreed and gave me sandwiches with sandwich spread (lady’s choice?) and bottled water. Room (for 2, no windows) was small but clean and quite nice. Bed was comfortable. I had 2 complimentary water bottles, 2 toothbrushes, 2 shampoos, and 2 soaps. Room was for two but I’m the only one who stayed in the room (accidentally booked for two adults). Surprised that there was no water heater and bidet (there was only a dipper/tabo). Shower water pressure was subpar. The soap dispenser in the shower was broken. Only place I can put any soap was the sink. Wifi speed was good. I saw parking for 4 cars in front of the hotel. Unsure if there are more parking spaces.
