There were blocks screwed on preventing them from being opened even a little bit, the room and bathroom were stuffy and the only way to let in fresh air was to leave the door wide open!

- Amber (10/5): Excellent place, highly recommend! - We had a large room, 3 beds, 2 in main room and 1 in attached room. It was excellent! The space was great, everything was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Manager was so friendly and helpful. I really can't think of anything that could've been better. It was a great room for a great price. Close to everything downtown, clean, quiet and comfortable. Will definitely go back. Love it.

- D Schmoller (10/5): Fabulous. Give it a 9.8. - Extremely good lodging. It's probably the cleanest place I have ever stayed. It's new, which helps the cleanliness. Great bed. Large tv. Good frig. Good internet. And it's smartly designed. Cool looking old building too. Like a Soho loft. A short walk to restaurants and the hot springs. Sound proof the wall between the adjoining rooms. Not bad, but you could hear the kids crying and the tv playing.

- Kerry (9/5): Recommend in Saratoga - The room was a well done rehab of a 1960's style motel. The bathroom was huge. The bedroom was cozy. It was all very clean. There was a Keurig for coffee. You use a push code to get into your room . It was handy. You can also walk to the downtown restaurant easily. There was one old vinyl covered kitchen chair that had to be tucked under the TV. It's only purpose was to sit and use to put on your shoes. A chair meant to sit and read in would've been better.

- Marsha (9/5): Great location, clean comfy rooms - Love how the rooms have been updated with laminate wood floors. We stayed here many years ago before remodeling and it was like a brand new motel. The shower was roomy and lots of hot water. The mini fridge and coffee station were both great. Location is fantastic, just a short walk to either the hot springs or downtown. Parking lot is small, so if you have a large vehicle, you will need to park on side street. Not an issue for us, but others might have an issue.

After a phone call in which I was passed around several times, a hotel employee informed me in person that I did not have a reservation for that room, and made me feel I had needlessly disturbed the person in that room. When I showed her the text, she gave me a different room (same combination, so it was probably screwed up in the text). But there was no apology - “sorry for the mixup” would have sufficed. Instead, I was left to feel like someone who had created a problem that she had (grudgingly) solved.

I'm not too picky, but it is unusual for a motel to excel in all aspects that i find important: good lighting that is easy to access, large bathroom with lots of hot water, comfortable bed, good room temperature, a fridge AND a microwave, clean and quiet surroundings and a friendly motel cat. The lady working the desk was genuine and fun, and the room rate was the best in town. This was an unexpectantly much above average experience that I would highly recommend to others.

- Aaron (10/5): - This was my first stay since the motel since it was renovated. Checking in and out now occurs solely via mobile device and is quite slick, reminiscent of modern air bnbs. I was very impressed by the newer/upgraded amenities, especially in the bathroom and bedroom. The price is right for a basic, yet functional and quality getaway stay, close to the hot springs. The basic room does have a microwave and mini fridge and I wish I knew that before arriving. Would highly recommend for a short stay.

The staff is non existent, I arrived at 8pm on a Saturday, I am mostly blind and couldn’t figure out how to open the door to the room. No one would answer the phone, the sign on the door at the office said to ring the doorbell and we did about 30 times and no one ever came to help. Will not be staying here again.

- Susan (9/5): Great place - It was sparkling clean and set up well. We could have used a bigger bed, but the bed was comfortable. Did I mention how clean it was?? We would stay here again. Bed was a double, and bigger would be more comfortable for us.
- Nozomi (6/5): - I like the easy check in, the room was nice and clean, and updated. Location was great for visiting the town of Saratoga. Whole facility is basically a motel, basic and simple, but clean, comfortable, and functional, which fits our travel style and budget. Only thing we did not like was the bathroom door. It was almost none existence. It was a sliding door that was functioning just to block the sights but tons of gap and space that makes inside of the bathroom visible. Sound and everything else was almost straight through and felt there was not enough privacy. But overall, it was a good budget stay! We would stay there again.
