Manager made special effort to ensure we had a great room with views. Super friendly and nice relaxing vibe. Free all daytime coffee and communal relaxing space also great. My second time there, and I’ll trickery use as a base. Nothing. I think it’s really great, and serene in a central spot.
- Joris (9/5): Stunning views, great location and a memorable family stay - We had a truly excellent stay at Hotel 50 Bowery with our family, including our two teenage sons. From the moment we entered our room on the 19th floor, we were impressed. The room was spacious, comfortable and offered breathtaking panoramic views of the New York skyline. We could clearly see iconic landmarks such as the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building and One World Trade Center. Even the bathroom had a view over Manhattan, which made it a unique experience. The rooftop terrace is a real highlight, offering spectacular views from morning until evening. Watching the city wake up and later seeing it light up at night was unforgettable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and housekeeping kept the room perfectly clean every day. The location is excellent. The hotel is right by the Manhattan Bridge and within walking distance of Brooklyn Bridge, which is definitely worth crossing. Chinatown, Little Italy and SoHo are all nearby. The Financial District and Hudson River Park are also within walking distance. A subway station is just a 5-minute walk away, making it easy to reach Midtown and other parts of the city. Nothing worth mentioning.

- Isabelle (6/5): There are better options that this hotel in Chinatown - The pictures presents rooms with a view we had a family room we were at the 4th floor with a view facing a wall and hanging wires . It was very disappointed, the staff did not helped. The bed lights were out. The breakfast was not good, a pity as the view is really great.
- Emma (8/5): Convenient hotel in Chinatown - It's a convenient hotel. Good location in Chinatown. Large room, comfy bed, good bathroom. There's a large communal space where you can work and grab a coffee/tea, I guess it was a restaurant at some point. The staff were friendly and there were no lines for checkin / out. It's getting a little old. There aren't many facilities, which is fine, I didn't need any, but I find the Resort Fee quite steep and the overall price not as value for money as the room rate seems at the outset.

L’accueil y est exceptionnel, chaleureux et professionnel, ce qui rend le séjour très agréable dès l’arrivée. La chambre est extraordinaire : design soigné, très confortable avec un lit de grande qualité, et une superbe salle de bain moderne et fonctionnelle. Le rooftop de l’hôtel est lui aussi extraordinaire, offrant une vue magnifique sur Manhattan, idéale pour se détendre en fin de journée. Situé dans le quartier dynamique de Chinatown, l’hôtel bénéficie d’un emplacement idéal, avec toutes les commodités à proximité. Le métro se trouve à seulement 5 minutes à pied, facilitant grandement les déplacements dans la ville. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel pour un séjour alliant confort, accueil remarquable, emplacement privilégié et panorama exceptionnel.

- carolyn (9/5): Explored Chinatown, Little Italy, Brooklyn, crossed bridges, great weekend! - Beautiful sunrise view from our window. Enjoyed the location for early morning walks through Chinatown and Little Italy, when all the vendors were setting up and area is coming alive with coffee shops, barbers, fish market...so cool to see! I had to turn on the room fan because of the noise from bridge, etc.. but would still book the same room anyway, the view was priceless. Only suggestion would be to open part of rooftop for sunrise viewers.

- Heimo (10/5): Perfekter Ausgangspunkt im authentischen Stadt-Teil mit bester Skyline View - Nicht nur die Lage ist perfekt um die Stadt der Städte zu erkunden, sondern auch die für NYC außergewöhnlich großen Zimmer mit einer Aussicht auf die Skyline, die seinesgleichen sucht. Wir haben ein Zimmer mit City View gebucht und hatten zusätzlich eine hohe Etage angefragt und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Eckzimmer im 19 Stock lässt einen positiv erstarrten – nicht nur beim ersten Betreten sondern jeden Tag auf's Neue. Tag und Nacht eine Traumaussicht, die das Verlangen nach dem Besuch einer Rooftop-Bar direkt vergessen lässt – obgleich es die hier auch gäbe. Wir waren rundum begeistert und unsere Tochter aus dem Häuschen. Wird jetzt unser NYC Standard. Auch das Bad und die Dusche waren top, bis auf die Tatsache, dass der Ablauf ein wenig verstopft war. Für NYC aber wahrlich auf hohen Niveau geklagt.

Great location if you want to explore Chinatown, etc. - We didn't realize breakfast was included and even though it required some thinking ahead (it's delivered from a local restaurant) it was fresh and good. This is a very nice place to stay for the price and location and size in NYC and the staff were very warm and helpful. Wonderful location for exploring Chinatown, and surrounding areas. Wifi was not working well for us but we were barely in the room so it didn't matter much. Staff was attentive and if we had asked for more help with the wifi, I think they would have found a fix.

- Καρολίνα (8/5): - Nice hotel and quite new. It was clean. It was nice since we didn’t have breakfast with the complimentary coffee and tea on the 2nd floor. I would like to be more transparent about the extra fees that you have to pay at the hotel after your stay. We knew it because we have read it before but if you are a tourist and don’t know how the tax is working on the US it could be a surprise in the end.

- JULIA (8/5): Schöner Kurztrip nach NY - - Kostenloses Wasser, Tee und Kaffee, Kakao,etc. sowie Äpfel - Bequeme Betten - Sehr gute Lage Preis-Leistung finde ich persönlich stimmt leider überhaupt nicht, allerdings ist das ja generell so in New York.
- Anna (10/5): Our stay was more than we hoped, conveniently located to everything we wanted to experience! - Everything went well, from check-in to check-out. The staff was all extremely friendly and helpful. They let us check-in 2 hours prior to our initial check-in time of 4 pm. They also allowed us to leave our bags in a secure location so that we could explore the city. It was freezing when we arrived to the hotel and they also informed us of level 2 where coffee, tea, etc. is served and that we could help ourselves to these amenities. We grabbed some hot cocoa and coffee to go which made exploring the city that much better. Our room exceeded our expectations - it was clean, very comfortable, and the views were so wonderful. We had a plumbing issue that was addressed right away. I have already told everyone about this experience and we have been asked for details of the hotel. We will certainly be back! We did have a clogged toilet but it was fixed immediately and didn't impact our stay. There wasn't anything else that we would say we didn't like. It was a wonderful stay and we will certainly return!

- Robert (10/5): Great location, most amazing views and very clean. 100% will come back hopefully - The view from the room!!! We had all of the skyline, just like pictured for the city view room. Friendly reception, room was so nice and clean. Room is a bit on the smaller side for 4 people but hey…this is NYC and the value for money was definitely good. Rooftop bar is amazing for the views but the service was very underwhelming at first

I arrived seven hours before check-in and was graciously offered an early check-in, by James if not mistaken, along with a room upgrade featuring a beautiful view at a minimum cost.This thoughtful gesture made my entire trip so much more enjoyable. I’ve stayed here twice now, and this hotel continues to be excellent in every way!

- Angela (8/5): We had a great time using this hotel as our base. Really good value for money. - The staff , the room, the roof top bar and free morning coffee up there! Great views up Manhattan , rooms were great. Umbrella to use!
- Luigi (3/5): Sconsigliato vivamente - Si salva solo la posizione per il resto struttura carissima per quello che offre o non offre Sono arrivato alle 22 ora locale e non trovavano la mia prenotazione mi hanno detto che forse il sistema Booking non si era allineato con il loro gestionale , assurdo . Mi hanno fatto dormire presso un albergo mediocre lì vicino . Non è inclusa la colazione , c’è una specie di rooftop dove si può trovare solo un mediocre caffè americano . Ho pagato quasi 500€ a notte

The fold out bed was horrible for our third and considering how expensive it was that’s pretty disappointing
