• Whazza69 (6/5): Ok but overpriced ! - The place is clean and the staff are very nice ! The rooms are tiny, no place to put your bag , your clothes or even sit !
• M9hawk (8/5): - A walk away from malls like Emsphere, Emporium and EmQuartier. Lots of restaurant on the main road which is a 2-3 min walk, so the nights are pretty quiet. Bed was comfortable. The pool table was nice and easily available, just stop by the lobby and pop a shot ! I dont know why my AC was on a timer, so it switched off at night, it can get a bit hot after a while which can interrupt your sleep unless you dont mind.

• Domenic (8/5): - Very conveniently located. 7 minute walk from emsphere. Plenty of bars and restaurants all around the hotel. My room was located facing the quiet side and I could comfortably sleep. Staff is really nice. There were some cockroaches around, not a big problem if you want to eat them but we didn’t like them. Cleanliness could be slightly improved but overall not too bad. My room wasn’t the one on the photos aswell but it was good enough to stay anyways.

• Rajan (10/5): Bravo Mr. Ball. Your hospitality is great and doing an amazing service for the guests. A truly hard and helpful gentlema - The beautiful classic decor of the Lobby. And the welcoming staff. The cleanliness. No doubt the bed is very comfortable but the setting could be in a better direction. All in all the location, cleanliness, comfort at the very reasonable price is worth. Nothing to tell you.

Staff really helpful and can set up affordable taxi to airport. Only reason it didn’t get a 10 was because of the strong smell at times in the bathroom. But not unusual for Bangkok. A little pricey but I was there over new years so probably paid extra for that. But compared to other options in Sukhumvit, it was affordable.

• paris (10/5): - Love this place! Perfect location which is very close to bts skytrain, great walking area, the best shopping malls, beautiful parks and the airport train. I always stay here.. the staff is very welcoming , helpful and professional.. rooms are clean and you can’t beat the value. Free latte/coffee machine in lobby is a great perk for morning coffee or a little pick me up while going out on the town. The night shift front desk woman “Pie” is very kind and especially helpful with great English skills and lots of good advice of where to explore in the area. Will be coming back here on my next trip for sure!

• Igor (3/5): - Location 1.The room is very small, and if you're alone, it's fine, but if you're a couple, it can be uncomfortable. 2.The air conditioner is broken, and it constantly shuts off at night, and the windows don't open, and at some point, you wake up feeling like you're suffocating due to a lack of air. Additionally, the temperature settings are very strange, and we set the air conditioner to 27-28 degrees Celsius because it was a more comfortable temperature. If it drops below 26 degrees Celsius, it feels like you're in Antarctica, and it's extremely cold. 3. The cherry on top is the toilet. I understand that it's hard to fit so much in such a small space, but why make the toilet that's next to the bed transparent? It's the strangest decision ever. There's also a transparent shower next to it, which overlooks the area where the pillows are and where the person is sleeping.

The main photo on Google Maps is actually a shopping mall located 10 minutes away from the hotel. Totally misleading. The hotel is surrounded by “massage parlors with girls.” The street is very sketchy — definitely not family-friendly. The guy at the reception was rude and unhelpful. The room was dirty, with torn bed sheets (see photo). No design at all, everything feels neglected. We checked several rooms — all of them smelled like sewage. The bathroom has transparent walls — uncomfortable and creepy. Feels like it’s made for voyeurs. The air conditioner either doesn’t work or blows like crazy with no in-between. The price is not justified at all. Plenty of better options nearby.

• Stephen (6/5): Pleasant but needs to address bathroom see through with some kind of curtain and the same cover for the bathroom window - Good location Bathroom is a glass box that is pretty much a see through wall which unless you are happy on the toilet whilst in view of the room is bad The early light streams thru the bathroom window so don’t expect to stay asleep if bothered by the early light of day Complete lack of stuff to make a drink , only a kettle no spoons or other items that would form a basis of a half decent room and a horrible blue light that emits from the fridge making the room glow at night

They made the check in process easy and made sure I was comfortable throughout my stay. I came back a second time as I stayed in other places in Bangkok however nothing compared to this hotel when it came to value for money, comfort, cleanliness standards and service from staff. I would definitely come back again. I was pleased with everything however some guests might prefer more facilities. I personally didn’t need anything more and my expectations were exceeded.

There was overflow further up the road so it maybe that the drains weren’t coping with the amount of water being used - I had been told before travelling that Bangkok sewer systems don’t cope very well due to the amount of tourists this time of year. We were in room 408 which also had the cleaners storage cupboard directly outside our door. Unfortunately it was a bit noisy in the morning as they were trying to clean the hallway and other rooms.

• C (5/5): Some what disappointing - Location. The aircon was slow and turning on, turns out it was controlled from down at the desk until I had to go down and asked him to take care of it. The shower drain did not drain the way it should it overflowed into the main floor of the bathroom. One set of sheets the first day was when I got to the room and a towel was dirty. The second day. The outlet next to the bed did not work, so I was unable to charge my phone without it being halfway across the room. I believe it was under new management so they were trying, but it was subpar. I have stayed at the Aspira G before and had excellent service.
