• Kishore (4/5): worse experience, Hotel booked through Expedia - First of all you are misleading about the hotel quality. The Hotel condition is horrible. Ice comes out of the Air conditioner. Not a single piece of furniture available in the room except the bed; no wardrobe, No chair. Even they are not providing drinking water in the room. R.O water is given after several reminder. Hotel stuffs are useless. They don't know how to talk to the guest. I had the worse experience staying in this hotel. I am curious how the Expedia is recommending this hotel. Totally cheating. I advise all not to book this hotel at any cost. I also request Expedia to visit the hotel to check the minimum facilities available with the hotel before shortlisting it on the website. The receptionist seemed very happy to help us, spoke very politely and was friendly. Other than that, the location was good, close to the Taj Mahal.

This is my second stay at this hotel, and the hotel staff clearly remembered my name and my needs. We ate dinner in our own room, it was excellent, and they made the same as we loved to eat.

Staff very friendly & helpful. Wonderful room service. The decor of this hotel was very pretty, and our room was nice and of a decent size.
• SIN YAN (6/5): View of Taj Mahal from the Hotel Rooftop - Room condition 5/10. Location 10/10. If you are a backpacker, the Taj Mahal booking office is just 100m away. After that there is a shuttle bus that takes you to the East Gate. This guesthouse is quite old and needs a makeover, but everyone who goes to Agra will not stay in the room. The only time they get back into the room is to sleep. The Taj Mahal view from the rooftop is nice.
• Zarko (10/5): Perfect location and good price - Perfect location, very central and gives good walking access to many popular destinations such as the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and so on. Check in was quick and the room was comfortable with very nice beds. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, they could not do enough for us. This is one of the best hotels in Agra at this price. I would stay here again, due to its location and quality for the price.
• Barry (10/5): An excellent stay - Excellent for visiting all the attractions of the city of Agra and is located near the taj mahal. The room was very spacious and very quiet. Air conditioning and shower worked perfectly and WIFI works very well even on the upper floors. The hotel staff was very friendly, and also booked a taxi for us at a very cheap price.
• ten (2/5): Not a nice stay - The hotel was not very clean, the bedding was dirty & when we asked for a replacement the replacement was still dirty. The staff was not very helpful. The bathrooms were filthy & the taps were old and not working. Even though it's a cheap hotel they could do a basic clean to make the stay better!

The staff were very helpful with arranging our trip around the city. Overall, the stay was pleasant and there were no downsides.
• Grazyna (8/5): Our second wonderful stay - It was our second visit to this hotel. We stayed this time for only one night but enjoyed our stay. The staff, again was wonderful and very helpful. The location as usual - great! The cleanliness of the hotel is excellent and the value for money was unbeatable.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Sigh. The staff - It's conveniently located next to the East gate ticket office. Price is good. I kept hearing a grinding noise from construction next door which might explain my cheap room rate. They were nice enough to allow me.to keep my bags there for the day. Biggest problem is the staff. Friendly but their unconcerned lack of urgency absolutely ruins this place. Checking in was the most painful experience. I would answer their questions and they would ask again after I answered them.because they were too busy socializing with the other 3 staff members gawking around reception. I asked for the wifi to be fixed and was jist told to, "come down to the lobby." Finally, after 2 hours in the lobby on wifi I asked again for them to actually FIX the wifi. Which they did, 1 hour later. So 5 hours total to fix wifi that they could have fixed upon my original request in 20 minutes.

Room was fantastic, clean, the bed was very comfortable and the wifi speed was brilliant. I like the Taj view from the terrace early in the morning, very nice.

The staff goes out of there way to make sure you received a wonderful service and always ready to help you with just about anything you need. Taj Mahal is about a 10 minute walk away and there are some local shops nearby.

• Michael (2/5): Misleading Reviews, Do Not Stay Here - The hotel is in extremely poor condition and I would highly recommend not staying here. There are many other options just up the street that have to be a better choice. There was a pile of loose bricks in the stairway leading to my room, the walls in my room had suffered repeated water damage and were not repaired (the sheet rock was just plastered over and unpainted), the sink leaked constantly, the electricity to my room was controlled by a switch outside my door in the public hallway, and the room was overall unclean and in poor condition. I booked 2 nights and left after 1. I can only assume that the 4 and 5 star reviews are fake because this is in no way a "3-star" hotel and neither the rooms or the staff were the quality of a 3-star, or even 2-star, hotel.

• shelby (2/5): Terrible -highly recommend you do not stay - This hotel does not meet even the most limited of cleanness standards. The tap in the bathroom is so corroded, the water runs on the sink rim and splashes on the floor. However this is the start of the problem because any water that lands in the sink runs down a 2 ft tube and splashes on the floor. the bathroom is dirtier than most garages, we had to clean the toilet with hand sanitizer before we could use. The floor is filthy, the bedding is dirty, the towels had a huge knot of hair that did not belong to us. I strongly suggest that Expedia remove this listing from their site. Not sure who other reviewers were but in 7 months in Asia, this is by far the worst hotel we have ever booked in Asia or anywhere.

I loved the location of the hotel because this hotel is so close to the eastern gate of the Taj Mahal. The staff was good and helpful, and the welcome was great.

No hot water, tap water was very hard/salty, a/c not working, heater costs extra, TV remote not working, service changes changed every time room service was requested, paint falling off walls, faucets were leaky and chrome had worn off .. basically very dated and lots of issues. No elevator. Would not recommend anyone use this hotel.
• CJ (2/5): Not recommnded - The hotel is overpriced and only looks great from outside. The facade of hotel might be glittering but dont be fooled by it. The rooms inside are really in bad condition and smelly. We reached Agra almost 9 hours late due to our train that got delayed by fog. We reached Agra early morning and managed to reach hotel at 7:30 am (19 hours later than our check-in time). The staff at desk greeted us and gave us very small room. The payment of the room was taken during check-in itself which I found really odd and uncalled for. Room was really small despite having paid quite a large amount. The bed-sheet was full of hair and when asked the cleaning guy rudely said I don't know from where they have come and I take no responsibility for it. There was no hot water which was a huge problem as outside temperature was close to 10 degree Celsius (or lesser) and we had traveled almost for 12 hours. We tried calling desk for at least 3-4 times and the person on phone promised to show up but never came (which I found rude and unprofessional). Room service told us they forgot to turn on hot water lines previous night so we have to 'ADJUST' with cold or warm water that they provided in buckets from somewhere. Towels that were provided were full of stains, smelly and torn at my places. Overall the people were extremely rude and un-courteous towards us. Price is too high for the experience we got. I would never recommend anyone to stay at this place. There are better hotels or hostels nearb
