• Paul (9/5): A cosy little accommodation with good rooms and aircon. The location is fantastic. I would recommend staying there if bu - Great location close to the busy part of town and 3 minute walk to the beach. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The staff were friendly but were not always available. When I arrived at the hotel there was no signage to say where the reception was. There was a sign up on a light pole but the entrance is past a seafood restaurant and you have to walk through Sync coffee shop to find a little reception desk at the back. Not what I needed after a long flight. The most annoying thing was the lack of a pool. While the information on Bookings.com didn’t actually state a pool, the photos showed sun chairs, umbrellas and an outdoor shower which strongly suggested that there was a pool. Lugging suitcases up the stairs (due to there being no lift) was a challenge although there are only a couple of floors.

• Jennifer (8/5): - Das Hotel befindet sich in einer Einkaufsstraße mit Restaurants, in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Strand (5 Minuten Fußweg). Die Zimmer waren einfach, aber sauber. Man konnte sich jeden Tag frische Strandtücher holen. Die Zimmer werden mit Balkon bzw Terasse beworben. Unser "Balkon" bot direkte Aussicht auf eine Betonwand des Nachbargebäudes. Also nicht nutzbar.

La direction et le personnel sont d'une gentillesse et professionnalisme remarquables. La chambre était spacieuse, confortable et calme, avec une literie excellente. L'emplacement est idéal à proximité de la plage, des magasins et nombreux restaurants. Je recommande sans la moindre hésitation. Nous reviendrons avec le plus grand plaisir. Tout était parfait

• Frank (10/5): Excellent location and a very clean room. Great value for money - Right in the middle of the bars and restaurants but we had a room away from the noise. Basic room but very clean with everything you might need including a welcome drink. Nice staff. Coffee shop attached in the reception that served lovely coffee and pastries. Oh and fabulous shower! There is no lift but we were aware of that just need others to be aware. Property isn’t that easy to find

Personal ist unfassbar nett und bemüht, Hotel sehr sauber und gut in Schuss! Es gibt nichts negatives zu Berichten!

• Elaine (9/5): At Kamala - Lovely big room with a nice little balcony overlooking the pool of the neighbouring hotel. The bed was big and very comfortable. The maid brought us beach towels every day and kept the room clean. The location was fantastic with bars, restaurants and shops right outside and it was only a short distance to the beach. The bathroom let the accommodation down. It looked like it was unfinished as the walls were just grey plaster that had been waterproofed. It would have been more in keeping had it tiled.
• Can (10/5): Nice place - This was my third stay here. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach and very close to the large 7-Eleven. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. The coffee shop downstairs serves great coffee, and the rates are affordable. Definitely my go-to place in Kamala Beach.

Felt a bit like a hotel speak-easy, where you had to walk through the cafe to get to the rooms. Also, wish the property had a pool, but not a major issue.
• Timothy (10/5): Great beach hotel. - This is a great little local hotel. The reception is at the back of the Sync coffee house, which is a little bit confusing the first time you go there. But it’s near to the beach and a lot of local restaurants. It doesn’t have a lift and there’s no facilities such as a swimming pool etc.

• PixieCB (8/5): Nice hotel! - A nice little hotel to stay at a couple of nights. Friendly staff and a plus that you get beach towels. The rooms are nice, maybe a little bit old but the cleaning was good. They have a really nice coffee bar in the lobby which served great coffee.

Free beach towel at the reception desk. The receptionist lady was helpful, arranged taxi, helped with motorcycle renting. Absolutely recommended. A wall or a curtain would be nice around the shower. But it's a small thing.
• Christopher (6/5): Small room with slow aircon in excellent location - The location is pretty good, 5 mins to beach, many shops and restaurants right on your doorstep. The cafe was excellent. Room and balcony were pretty small and the toilet and shower in one small separate room. Aircon was the biggest issues as it takes quite a while for it to cool the room and after walking up the stairs it was pretty uncomfortable for about half an hour.

Kamala was very crowded and the beach was not as nice as we were hoping

The service is friendly and professional. Hotel Manager and his staff went above and beyond to help. Hotel has great wifi Sync Coffee attached to the hotel is an independent coffee house with a chilled vibe serving an awesome selection of coffees.
• JMK_The_Wanderer (8/5): Great location - I stayed 2 nights at this hotel in a "deluxe double" room on the 3rd floor (#304). First of all, it's kind of an odd set-up in which the reception desk is actually in the back corner of the Sync Coffee Bar, located down a small alley off the street. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a large bed, small wardrobe with a safe box, fridge, kettle, tiny TV (but with a very good selection of channels), wet style bathroom, and a small balcony with a table and chairs. No view except of the neighbor's roof, but lots of natural light in this room. Lower floors may not have this luxury. What was lacking though, was a desk of any kind. There was a little bit of space next to the fridge, but I wouldn't call this a desk, nor was there a chair, so if you need to work on your laptop you may need to go to the cafe downstairs. Also there was an insufficient number of power points in the room - there was only one. Check-in was easy, although I may have timed it just right by good luck. It seemed to me that the reception desk was not always manned, and if the cafe is closed (open 9AM-7PM) it might be difficult to find someone to help you. Location is excellent, a very short walk to the beach and numerous restaurants and bars. Being set back off the road the way it is, the room was super quiet at night, with no street noise at all. I would return to this hotel based on the location and cleanliness of the room, but with the understanding that the facilities are lacking.

(10/5): so pleasant we’ve booked to stay there again just before we leave Thailand 😃 - it was fresh, clean and not run down and scruffy like all the other places we’ve stayed in. got a little balcony too (currently staying in a different hotel with no window, it’s very claustrophobic!😳), staff very friendly and accommodating (as is the norm in Thailand… such lovely people!). it’s so close to the beach and an assortment of eateries. You have to go through a lovely little coffee shop to get to reception and the coffee shop has some of the best tasting coffee I’ve ever had. -

The bed was SUPER uncomfortable and the hallways were loud which made sleeping while your neighbors were awake a challenge. They offer free beach towels and mats which is great with the beach across the street.

• 193tonyw (10/5): Excellent choice - Location is great as its right in the beachside area of the town. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Everyone in the hotel is super helpful and friendly. The room had a nice rainfall shower and the cleaning and upkeep are exceptionally good. For a small hotel I doubt this could be beaten as it really is that good. They give beach towels and straw mats for use on the beach which is about 2 minutes walk. No complaints or moans at all.

• stevemN6924QR (10/5): A nice little hotel - This hotel was very nice for our stay as it was close to all that we wanted to do there , restaurants , attractions , the beach and the night life , the room was kept very clean , wifi worked good , air con was good , the rooms were spacious and all had a small balcony to sit outside some had ocean views (just), the staff were good , we all agreed this was a good choice for our stay, the hotel doesn't have a pool but a 2 minute walk to the beach is all it takes ..
