• Gabrielasarbu (8/5): Very good - The room have nowhere to put your clothes. No storage. We used the stand for drying the towels to hang the tshirts. The bathroom has a shower that it's not working properly. The breakfast is poor, just eggs and juice. The same every day.

The facilities where good, it was the first time on my trip I had warm for my shower which was great The worst thing was the bathroom door was glass? I stayed with a friend which meant if one of us wanted the toilet we had to go outside, as you could see right through to toilet. Definitely needs a different door as, as you can imagine there was zero privacy.

We laughed our whole stay and had such a great time, all thanks to Luke! Great location, quiet spot, nice sun on the pool. Will certainly come back to see Mr Luke, we can’t thank him enough for all his help, with our bookings, bags, bike rental, and help with anything we needed!

The room was clean and there are only five rooms in the hotel so it’s very private and calm, we were alone in the pool all the time. I would comeback again.

There are much nicer spots on Gili T, but they come with a heavier price tag and Villa PhyPhy is great - top notch air con (which was definitely needed!) and basic but comfy beds.

It is also only 5-10 minutes from main street! The bathrooms were partially outdoors so they often had bugs. It was not a huge problem though!

Shower had only misted water out. Bathrooms not sealed. Ended up full of mosquito and bugs. Pump ran constantly(very loud at night) Pool needs to be cleaned. Full of sand, sticks and dirt. Very run down. States it has a bar, snacks and common TV area. There is a bar at which the employees sit at but there are no drinks, or snacks.

He is kind, helpful and he prepares a good breakfast. Also his friend who helps him is a very nice guy, I enjoyed our chats during breakfast. Thank you!!!! I highly recommend staying in villa phyphy!
• Fangcheng (6/5): Pleasant - I didn't expect it to be very far from the beach, only a 10-minute walk. But the boss provided us with bicycles. The boss should improve some of the deficiencies in the facilities, such as the hair dryer cannot be used, and the power will be cut off when turned on. The enthusiastic staff made up for these shortcomings and made us feel warm and like family.

• Gabriel (10/5): Great villa in the heart of Gilli T with an amazing host. - This property was really nice with everything and more from what I expected, the rooms are all very nicely cleaned and the pool is always open. The location is also a very close walk to the Main Street in Gilli T. Not to mention , the host Luke is exceptional and takes care of everyone staying the whole time whether that comes to booking snorkeling, going out at night or whatever else you may need help with.

Great customer service, our room was beautiful and very clean. The bathroom had a little funny smell, but most bathrooms in Bali do. Nice pool and great location, we didn't get woken up by the mosque, and it was fairly quiet around but still close to everything.

Helping us with our bikes every morning and opening the door, providing information on boat trips and helping us find our way as well as carrying our luggage. Most importantly they were a laugh, so we extended our stay and enjoyed it thoroughly!! They bathroom could be a little cleaner
• Whitney (7/5): Great location, great staff and spacious room. - Great location and the staff was very nice and helpful. We rented bikes for the whole time we were there and they gave us a great deal. The bathroom is directly open to the outdoors so ants and bugs were prevalent in the room (the staff did a great job cleaning though, the room just isn’t completely closed in. The A/C also had a hard time keeping up with the warm temperatures. Lastly you can hear the mosque very clearly at all hours of the day. Prayers start at 4am so just be aware.

• James (9/5): Excellent Staff & Good Location - Asri and staff take great care of the guests. The location is far enough away from the main walking area and shoreline, so your are not disturbed by other island guests partying on the island. This is a good get away and affordable. There was burning wood and trash near the villa, but it did not bother the guests much.

We always leave reviews to try and help our fellow travellers. I wanted to review this place and tell people how the owners were not professionall or helpful with our situation at all. We are Canadians living in China. This is prime Coronavirus time at the moment. We cannot go home due to our city being on lockdown. We are told not to travel due to the rise of this epidemic. We also have insider details and it's bad in China. The WHO has warned travellers and airlines have cancelled flights all over the globe. We have cancelled our plans to jump around from location and avoid large crowds like airports. HOTELS tried calling Villa Phyphy and no one would answer for days. Finally someone answered and would not accept our request to cancel our room. I realize we had booked with no cancellation, but under the circumstances of a deadly virus and us having flown from China when it all started, this is unaceptable. We were doing the right thing by quarentining ourselfs to one location for the next 3 weeks. Our other hotel bookings in Signapore and Thailand had no problems giving us a refund and accepting our cancellation, in understanding of the situation at hand. I find this dispicable and would urge the hotel owners to allow people to cancel if they choose to, coming form China. This virus is not a joke, it's killing hundreads. Shame on you Villa Phyphy.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - 4박하는동안 항상 웃어주던 츤데레 직원들. 숙소랑 항구랑 좀 멀긴하지만 잘리?였나 그런 곳 보다는 훨씬 찾아가기 쉽고 가까움.. 수영장은 쓰지않음. 매일 아침 수영장청소하는듯.. 한국기준으로는 조금 지저분해보이지만 본인들 최선을 다해서 청소하고 서비스하려 노력함. 물이 두번정도 끊겼지만 금방 복구해줌. 자전거는 하루에 50k, 에어컨은 역시나 그냥 그럼. 와이파이도 그냥 일반적 길리수준. 차라리 잘리보다는 여기가 나을듯.. (룸서비스안한다는 기준)

• Aida (10/5): Best place in Bali - Best hotel in Bali! The rooms were clean and big and spacious. Big plus on the staff who were super friendly, one of them Luke took me to Lombok to see the waterfalls for a much cheaper price than if I’d gone to one of the people on the streets. Breakfast is served at your room, their banana pancakes are a must try!

• Verified traveler (8/5): Not a bad little place - Wasn't as easy to find as we thought as the location coming up on maps was incorrect and most people were unable to direct us. Not a luxury accommodation and we by no means expected that room was clean and staff was lovely. Had issues with a power cut on the first night but it's understandable and the staff sorted it quickly. Breakfast was delicious!
• Verified traveler (4/5): Dubbelbokning - De hade dubbelbokat vårt rum och istället för att avboka så flyttade de oss till ett systerhotell som låg så långt ifrån stranden man kan komma, med lägre standard än vi bokat. Efter ett par diskussioner så flyttade de oss dock till ett annat hotel med liknande avstånd till centrum så det blev bra tillslut.
• Daniel (10/5): BEST ON GILI WITHOUT DOUBT!! - Stayed here with a friend for three nights after originally only booking one night. This was due to hospitality and welcoming attitude of the host. This is the best we have experienced on our travel of Bali and the islands. Breakfast was fantastic, came straight away. We were impressed with the banana pancake, and especially when we was asked if we want seconds. The place felt very secure and he room was very clean, and was changed daily. The hot shower was more than adequate. The host sorted out our bike rental and laundry. When the power went out on the island the host had the generator up and running within seconds. The staff are the best part of this stay and could not do enough for us. You will not find better value for money in the island!

• Lana (10/5): STOP LOOKING!!! STAY HERE!! :) - I can not say enough about this place and the amazing Staff!! Hardi, Iman and Asri were the most welcoming, friendly, funny and helpful staff ever!! They even helped me book a snorkel tour, and took me down to the office where the tour left, so he could talk to them and make sure I got the best price (With no extra hidden charges as they do sometimes). These 3 guys never stopped working! They took so much pride in their job and the Villa!! Truly wonderful!! I am so very happy I found this place!! I stayed here for 3 nights while on Gili T. The rooms are new, clean and sooooooo very comfy!! The king sized bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, and I personally loved the fact that the shower was open air. The breakfast was unreal!!! Served to you while you sit beside the pool outside your room, and they always offer you seconds when you're done :) I recommend the Banana Pancakes!! The villa is located about 5-10 mins walk to the busy side of the island and all of the restaurants etc. So it's close enough to the action, but far enough away that it is quiet and peaceful. The walk back at night is fairly well lit, apart for the last 100 meters or so, here it gets a bit dark so I used the torch on my phone to see. I was a solo female traveller and I felt pretty safe walking home at night, but you can always rent a bike from the villa too. I 200% recommend staying here!! :)
• Anna (4/5): Close, but not close. Bathe with the bugs. - The hotel staff were great. I wish I liked this place more. Located only a few hundred meters from the port, I thought it would be a great location. However, you're walking inland on all unpaved dirt roads, and there is no lighting at night. There are plenty of hotels for the same price along the paved, main waterfront road that I would choose to stay at next time. The bathroom has an open ceiling, so all kinds of bugs and leaves fall in. We didn't see too many critters, but there were flies, ants, and a wormy-looking thing. The room comes with a Costco sized bug spray.
• Desiree (10/5): Convenient & clean hotel with knowledgable staff - The weather was ideal for us when we arrived, considering a storm had just cleared. The staff at PhyPhy were extremely knowledgable, friendly, and fair. PhyPhy had a limited food menu (for breakfast and room service), but the available foods were cooked upon order and it was very fresh and DELICIOUS. However, it should be noted that there are at least 50 restaurants within walking distance that tailors to each diet (e.g., vegan, pescatarian, vegetarian, raw, omnivore, etc.) with phenomenal food. The hotel was one of the cleanest for the price of each night. The interior appeared to be bamboo flooring, white sheets and blankets, and really elegant night stands. The bathroom was nice, but it should be noted that the shower area has an open ceiling concept to eliminate the condensation; natural things (e.g., bugs, leaves) can fall into the showering area, so it's best if the bathroom door is always shut. The daily room service leaves the bathroom in mint condition for your next use. The location is about a 2 minute bike ride or a 6 minute walk from the main part of town. Bikes are provided for guests at 50K rupiah (~$5 USD) per day. Take the bike out for a day and ride around the island!

AC working great. breakfast is really awesome, try the raffle you won't be disappointed. Coffee is also very good. The staff is just fantastic, very friendly and helpful. We had fun watching a UFC fight with them!

Recommended good restaurants, a great boat back to Bali and where to watch the sunset. Couldn't of asked for more helpful and friendly hosts. The rooms are also Cozy and the pool oh so refreshing.
