Guest Reviews
- Marek (10/5): - Apartament is kind far away from Piza city center but with this price for a night it good deal! I recomend this place for people who like walking and sightseeing.
- Peter (8/5): Very nice! - Comfortable room in nice, old fashioned house with ensuite. Friendly owners, nearby to shops and city centre. Would stay again.
- Maricel (8/5): - Very far away from everything. Rooms were good
- Verified traveler (2/5): Bad Experience - Internet not working, had to wait for around 30 mins to check in! No reception
- paola (6/5): - Potremmo dire come a casa!
- AggieB (6/5): Not great unless you're Italian - This place is about a 45 min walk from the center of town. Sucks if you don't have a car or have someone to tell you about public transport. We arrived really late at night and Marco who looks after the property int he evening was really nice and stayed up till 2:30 in the morning and helped us into the property.
The first morning we woke up I did;t know what the noise was. The people upstairs were trotting about in high heels at 7 am on a Saturday, they did the same at 1 am when they got in and they did not opened the door when I was knowing to ask them to take their darn shoes off. We couldn't get int ouch with anyone to have a chat with them to ask them to be respectful of other guests.
After being awaken in such an way on Saturday we found ourselves with no hot water for the shower and the lady that was looking after the property in the morning was pretty much useless and when I asked if they have a hairdryer (in Italian as English was not an option) she looked at me like I've asked her for 6 impossible things before breakfast!
The room was clean however the bed was tiny. We booked a superior room with a garden view we were in a room in the basement with very high windows that gave us little light and a lot of noise from the street.
We didn't enjoy our stay her. Having booked this place through Expidia I had higher expectations.
- Boris (10/5): Great stylish house! :)) - The place was great! Cool stylish room. :)
Camera Pulita, ampia, riscaldata e silenziosa, letto comodo, ambiente accogliente.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not as expected - Although warned this hotel had no reception, we were told someone would be on hand to check us in to our room until 8pm. We arrived before 7pm but no one was there. The elderly Signora who lives below helped us out and we were able to speak with the owner (at his other, and clearly more important) hotel. The room was simple but clean and perfectly suitable for a single night en route to somewhere else.
Found a good trattoria at the end of the road for supper. Returned to find we (and other guests) were locked out after an earlier guest had double-locked the inner door. The owner was summoned, arrived eventually on his moped, clambered around outside to wake up the earlier guest and got us all back in. At which point he denied we had booked bed and breakfast 'No, no, no! Room only!' Which was interesting because on our invoice for the hotel tax, left on the table in our room, was clearly printed the legend 'Bed and breakfast.' We added a note to the invoice explaining we would be diverting the nominal amount requested for the hotel tax to the breakfast we would now be forced to buy at the same trattoria down the road.
