I rang the hotel and spoke to Raj, who immediately went to the room and retrieved the power bank. Luckily, I was still in the area, so just popped back to the hotel to find Raj at reception and am now happy again. Thanks, Raj!
- 249garrym (8/5): Convenient for Heathrow - Have stayed here 20+ times as in a convenient location with access to Ealing and Heathrow. Know most of the staff who are all a helpful crew. Anna, and her deputy Raj, head up a happy team. John and Carly always assist us when staying.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly and genuinely helpful, which made us feel very welcome. The hotel was very clean and well looked after, and our room was comfortable and perfect for a family stay. The overall environment was calm, safe and relaxing, making it easy to unwind after a busy day out. The location is also very convenient, with good transport links and nearby shops and restaurants. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended.

This hotel is clean and really offers a basic standard kind of no frills. 30 minutes free WiFi in 2026 REALLY. Breakfast was again basic no vinegar or brown sauce and that about sums up the basic nature of this hotel

I had a long journey from the midlands and was instantly asked if I needed anything extra and provided really useful advice about local places to eat and drink. Would definitely recommend for West London stays.

In particular they found us a quiet room at the back of the hotel so we had a good night's sleep. Location is convenient to Ealing common station and therefore central London.

- 615PaulM615 (10/5): What a pleasure! - The hotel was very easy to find and the u-shaped driveway frontage was very useful as I arrived in my car. I was greeted by Ahmed and John who could have been working at the Ritz for the level of helpfulness and customer service skills they displayed, ensuring a speedy and simple check in. I had booked one of the upgraded rooms and it was worth every penny. Clean, well decorated and warm. All the facilities of. the room were easy to access and use. As I was visiting the area for a wedding, Ahmed and John continued to be invaluable throughout my stay. As a regular user of the ‘purple’ brand of hotel , I have to say that this trip has changed my attitude towards Travelodge in only positive ways.

- Lebario82 (2/5): Bad experience - I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. This was my first time using Travelodge services, and unfortunately the room was in unacceptable condition. It was dirty, had a strong unpleasant smell, there was no air conditioning, and the toilet door was broken. When I requested that the room be cleaned, I was informed that rooms are not cleaned for the first six days. This level of service did not meet reasonable expectations.

The rooms are very small and the room we stayed in smelled badly- clearly a know issue as the window was left open on our arrival. The towels were not refreshed, even when requested. The communal areas are knackered and unclean. The only positive is the location, if you need to be in Ealing or near the Elizabeth Line.

Yes the signage is faded, looks like someone drove into the bollards at the front door some time ago AND the horrible raised border probably looked nice when last tended in the 1980's ...get beyond all that and there's a decent Travelodge inside. Friendly welcoming staff, comfortable beds, good location.

- rmaguru (10/5): Affordable hotel, at great place, with a predictable standard - I usually use this hotel when visiting London (and always prefer Travelodge in other cities). I appreciate the predictable standard (all Travelodges rooms are similar, you know what to expect wherever you are) and at this particular Travelodge: the location (many restaurants, shops, tube station etc. nearby), the friendly and helpful staff (Mowri [have I spelled it right?], Sebastian, Nadine and others; sorry friends I do not remember to many names ;-)) and usually the very affordable price comparing to other Travelodges in London. Ealing Broadway, the huge crosroads of public transport is nearby (10 minutes by foot or two stops by bus if you're lazy as me sometimes ;-)). Not only shops and a lovely shisha lounge Amiri, but also a large shopping centre (with a parking) just few hundred meters from the hotel.

Reception said she was going to see what she could do , no guarantees. I had the ‘super’ room for 360 pounds for 2 nights, it was crazy expensive bc of an event that weekend . But the room was more like average, the bedding was hot and sweaty at night, and not having a toilet brush is ridiculous.
- 297lbf (2/5): Terrible do not book! - Absolutely terrible. We booked this hotel last year and the phoned 3 weeks prior to our booking to check and the hotel confirmed we were still booked in. We have turned up at the hotel after driving over 3 hours only to find that our room had been cancelled and the hotel is full. We now have no where to stay and the only help travel lodge was to say we need to find somewhere else. Disgusting service for a multi-million business.

Not to far from Heathrow airport and transport is very good you have everything in Ealing. Including the broadway. rooms was nice and clean . Nice environment and good surroundings. - O7688DSania (2/5): Very disappointing experience – reservation refused and service not provided. - I had a confirmed reservation at this hotel (made directly on the official website for 17.09-26.09). However, upon arrival we were not able to stay as the hotel failed to provide the promised accommodation and service. The room was dirty , and somebody lived there . The conditions did not correspond to what was advertised on the official website, and despite contacting the reception/management, no proper solution was offered. We were forced to refuse the stay and find alternative accommodation at our own expense. After a 12-hour flight, my parents were completely exhausted and needed rest, not to sit late at night in a café waiting for a room to be prepared. With such short notice, it was impossible for the room to be properly cleaned to an acceptable standard. I have been waiting for a response from complaints for 5 days already. Such treatment is unacceptable for a hotel that claims to provide quality service. I strongly advise future guests to double-check before booking and be aware that the hotel may not fulfill its commitments. I attached photo , where you can see how was the room , the lady is on of the staff of Ealing Travelodge.
- 817izzyw (2/5): Not a good place!! - Me and my daughter went to this hotel for a stay here for a coldplay concert and she had left her airpods behind, we was on the train when we had realised so when we tried to contact them you can only contact through phone where you have to pay. We told them about the situation and they did not help once. We had offered to pay for postage and they said they will have a look for them but the never rang us back when they said they was. My daughter can track them and on day 4 someone had disconnected them from the tracker. When we called the hotel back they was not helpful and told us there was no where to be found?? They seemed like they couldn’t care and didn’t want to help. The staff just seem unorganised and don’t want to help. The lifts didn’t work and there was marks on the towels when we had arrived. Overall it was a pleasant stay just make sure you have everything before you leave because you will not get it back!!

Basic in style no amenities but only staying the night not necessary. Water pressure and shower temp was good. If I do stay I would get a room with a bedroom view, not a brick wall. Location great 12 minute walk to Tube.

She was very helpful and friendly. The rooms was jut what we needed for one night very clean. Breakfast was good for me as I'm a fussy eater but managed to enjoy something.

It is quiet, very clean, comfortable and the front day reception staff are genuinely friendly and always helpful.The location, while not in central London, is conveniently close to the city centre and to Heathrow airport via the London Underground network. All-in-all very good value for money

- Leighsparkes (6/5): Convenient but not practical - Hotel is in great location but rooms are small, window only opens by a few cm and the main window looks over an office building so you have to keep the curtains closed or you are being watched. And no air conditioning in the room, only a fan supplied, which with the lack of windows opening resulted in the room being hotter than outside.
- jakegoestravelling (4/5): Dirty, Tired and Unsafe. - I have been frequenting Travelodge for the past couple of months now for various reasons, mostly because they offer a cheap escape for the weekend for me and my boyfriend. The rooms are never anything astonishing, but are generally cheap, functional and clean. This Travelodge appears to be the exception. I made a spontaneous booking for this hotel on the same day as my arrival, which perhaps will explain some of my experience. Nevertheless, that is not an excuse for the lack of cleanliness in the room. Don’t offer rooms for same day booking if you can’t clean them. I checked in around 3:30pm, and the receptionists were pleasant enough. They gave me my keycard and I made my way up to the room. Cleaning was still going on along my corridor, so I presumed that my room had already been cleaned. To avoid any awkward encounter, the first thing I did upon opening the door to my room was take the “do not disturb” card and hang it on the door handle. I noticed once I closed the door that the room didn’t smell of cleaning products, but figured it didn’t matter. I turned the lights on and was greeted by, on the surface, a pretty standard Travelodge bedroom. Upon closer inspection, however, the room was dated and tired. At one point a bag of (I hope) fresh bedding fell off a random ledge it had been deposited on, and I’ve never before known a hotel where it is acceptable to store bedding in such a haphazard manner. There was dust along the desk and the air conditioning unit was broken, continually making a high pitch and frankly irritating electrical sound. The bathroom was the really disgusting part. I had intended to use the toilet and jump into a shower, but was greeted by an unflushed toilet and a shower filled with hair. I had to leave the shower on for several seconds to rinse the hair down the drain, because no way was I touching it with my bare hands. Once that unfortunate task was out of the way, I (at this point begrudgingly) got into the shower. All went well, although I warn everyone that the Travelodge complimentary shower gel and shampoo is vile and smells like bleach, so consider bring your own, until I got out of the shower. The shower curtain was apparently woefully inadequate. The floor, my towel, and half of my clothes were absolutely soaking wet. It was disgusting, and if I didn’t laugh at the huge puddle covering the floor, I’d have cried. I did my best to dry my body with two smaller towels since the big one was drenched, and then had to use the big one that was already soaking to wipe up most of the puddle. Concerningly, when doing this, a load of hair came up off the floor and the towel turned brown. The water was also somewhat cloudy and dirty when I rang the towel out. My boyfriend was not too happy when he came to the room later on and couldn’t use the tower as it had gotten soaked through by the abysmal shower in the room. The bed itself was relatively comfortable, although yet another issue presented itself when I went to pick my boyfriend up from work. We hopped off the bus (perhaps one positive to this hotel is that it is located closely to a bus stop) and headed for the entrance. For whatever reason, the entrance to the hotel has become an apparent hangout for drug addicts and unsavoury characters. It honestly felt unsafe walking into the reception and having to go past a number of people clearly on drugs or, in one case, arguing with one another. I know this isn’t necessarily the fault of the hotel, and I also don’t blame addicts for their behaviours, but it just downgraded the feeling of safety I would expect when hanging around a property designed for weekend getaways and, in some cases, tourists. My boyfriend used the shower eventually and had the exact same issue with the shower curtain. Although the bed was comfy, the noise level from within the hotel was also exceedingly loud. When we woke up the next morning, we both looked at each other and agreed: never again.

- samfoliver (2/5): Incompetent, disinterested staff and no guarantee you’ll get the room you booked - On arrival, we were met with two virtually mute and unwelcoming receptionists who seem more interested in going about their own tasks than checking us in. We were then told that our room wasn’t available and that we would have to take an accessible room or to go to a different Travelodge at a different location. This was said with no apology and no offer of compensation. Once we got to the room, it was a different design to the one that we booked and much smaller and not the new design as shown on the website. We also had a broken fan in the room. Finally, at checkout the woman on reception seemed disinterested in us checking out and more interested in finishing her breakfast-she didn’t ask whether we had a good day.

- pavb2 (2/5): Not a safe hotel - Stayed at this hotel the other week came back at 23.30 to find reception had given a key card to our room to a very drunk man now lying semi naked on our bed, vomit and red wine all over our things. We are actually just glad that we weren't asleep in the bed when they gave him the access card. We raised the issue with Travelodge but response was appalling.

- ShanthiC (4/5): Not what I was expecting of a Travel Lodge. - The rooms are small and mine was dingy with a wall as a view. When I asked if I could change rooms in was told that you could only do so before check-in. There was hardly any toilet roll. The rooms are only cleaned every 6 days! You can ask for your towels and toilet paper to be topped up. No hairdryer because standard rooms aren’t provided with one. No soap in the dispenser. I will never book with a Travel Lodge again even if it is cheaper than Premier Inn. It was disappointing.
- L2776OOlees (10/5): good stay - great location, loads of restaurants around the area, dining in the hotel it is a little expensive as Travelodge needs to reconsider their prices. apart from the the hotel is clean and the reception team was amazing ! the rooms was clean aswell but it looks worn out. they need a refurb in my opinion. ealing broadway shopping centre is 3 min away from the hotel. its a lovely location.
