Guest Reviews
- 304ellish (10/5): Amazing - Checked in 29th around 4pm and lina and jolanta (I hope I got their names right) where amazing. Explained everything about the hotel room wise, food wise and bar made the experience really good. We came back around 10 and they were still working and got served at the bar and had a lovely chat. Would recommend this hotel a lot close to the heart of Glasgow 5 mins walk from everything
- Alice34775567 (10/5): Lovely people - The Travelodge employees are incredibly friendly, greeting me every time I go through the reception area.
The location is great, very central, the whole team are full of suggestions
- emmahS4224JV (10/5): Great - great sleep! Basic but comfortable. Good value for price great location. All the staff, especially Rachel were kind and welcoming.would stay again
- gbgillham (10/5): Stay - Very well mannered staff very helpful and could not have been more helpful I will definitely stay again
- Paradise67595291863 (10/5): pleasant - recently stayed here pleasant experience. the staff were more than happy to help especially rachel incredibly friendly and helpful. rooms simple but clean. basic but wasnt staying long so perfect.overall good value for price will be back
- B7085UKderekh (8/5): Friendly staff good location - Friendly staff at reception room was nice and clean close to city centre plenty of shops nearby good value for money nice big comfy bed
- K3689PVmarissam (10/5): Great staff pleasant stay - Location is good, the staff are always friendly. I didn’t have dinner but breakfast was lovely the receptionist Rachal was really helpful she printed directions for me made life easier
- Aisleena (2/5): Avoid - It was the worst hotel I've ever been to. The room was stinking. It smelled so bad we couldn't stay in it. There were also stains on the bed frame.
The room we got moved to didn't smell, but it wasn't clean. There were bogeys on the bed cover and blood marks (small) on the wall. The TV screen was dirty. No plugs near the bed.
The rooms are so dated. It looks like they haven't been done up in 20 years.
The only positive thing I can say was that the staff member on the front desk was nice.
Avoid this hotel at all costs.
- 119bobbb (4/5): Not great - Room was tiny. Ive stayed in small room but this was ridiculous ans I understand its travel Lodge and I prefer them over premier inn but wow. The room had hardly any lighting thing there was 2 beside bed and one at TV. ( which also had burn marks on roof) and wall paper was dated and i mean well dated. If they painted room white and a bit more light it may look bigger. Location was ok near central easy access parking near by. Services wasnt great but I feel I can blame staff as one person to do reception, bar, and sort breakfast out. Bit much. Feel disappointed with my stay but hey just a bed for night that we needed but ill pick premier inn next time.
- Matt456789i (10/5): Plesant stay - I recently stayed at Glasgow Central hotel and had a very pleasant experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and quick to assist with check-in.
The room was spotless, but decor a bit dated. The bed was comfortable. Tea and coffee available.
Buffet breakfast was really nice.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for central location and friendly service. I would happily stay here again on my next trip.
- 158alistairm (8/5): Pleasant staff. - When we arrived Rachel was on the front desk. Gave us a really friendly welcome. A nice start to our stay. Was the same every time we saw or spoke to her. Also needed her.help finding where a couple of places we wanted to visit. Although she wasn't sure where one off them was she went out of her way to find out for us which we really appreciated. Also Andy who was also very helpful and friendly. Keep up the good work 👏. Alistair and Michelle
- 450shazzaa (10/5): Comfortable stay - Did the job! Budget-friendly and rooms were clean - exactly what we needed. Simple but comfy and central location- would stay again for the price. Leena at the front desk was friendly, she knew the local area inside out- impressed considering she's not from here, gave great local tips. Skipped the hotel breakfast (eaten elsewhere) but the it looked really good maybe next time!
- 693lilt (10/5): High service - Lost my key, and very kindly woman Luda on Reception helped me to find it, 5star service. I remember she is from Lithuania, appreciate her help
- stacywE7750HW (10/5): . - The hotel overall is pretty dated but overall clean and has a great choice at breakfast. Hot and cold food. In the evening Luda and Jolanta were very polite and informative and dinner was delicious. I would stay here again.
- 291safahr (8/5): Lovely staff - This hotel is quite dated, however is close to the city centre so ideal for shopping. I was serviced by Luda, she was lovely and so helpful. Would recommend.
- Tour12489182447 (10/5): A comfortable stay with lovely hospitality! - We arrived feeling pretty tired and hungry, and Luda was so kind and helpful in recommending places to eat and grab drinks around the area. Her suggestions were spot on and made settling in much easier.
The hotel is a little dated, but we didn’t mind at all — everything was clean, comfortable, and had a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and Luda’s warm and helpful attitude really made the experience better.
I would highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting Glasgow 😊
- AJFC1961 (8/5): A good location and friendly welcome every time ! - Having stayed regularly at this hotel over several years I can say that you will not find friendlier or more helpful staff. The front desk team are great, too many to mention but Gosia always gives a warm welcome. Manager ‘Andy’ runs a really good team.
The only drawback that has developed over the last year is the significant increase in room rates driven by lack of availabity for ‘paying’ guests. It appears that most rooms have now been allocated to ‘non paying’ occupants.
- B4168ICseano (10/5): Room and hotel is exceptionally clean and and tidy.. and realy quiet and get good nights sleep.. - Room is great and clean, location is perfect for anywhere in you need to go in the town centre.. all the staff are great and pleasant, always have a smile, especially Gosia and Rachel,, would recommend travelodge Glasgow central to anyone.
- 797mahmoudd (10/5): All my respect appreciation and to all the staff specialy Luna jolanta andy reachel lina my God bless them and bless you - What can I say? To be honest, the people who work at the hotel are respectful, and I pray that God rewards them for helping immigrants who would never find such treatment anywhere else, or even in their own countries. It truly is one of the best places in the world in terms of treatment and humanity. I say "in the world" because I know many places, including, but not limited to, Jolanta, Loda, Lena, Andy, and Rachel. I see that those who work here respect the place and love their work. I offer you all my respect, appreciation, and thanks.
- A2943OCmassimilianoc (10/5): 5 star - I really enjoy to visit travelordge every time, price is very good for the service you get. During my visit I get a beautiful service on the reception form Luda and Jalanta. Really like this place and recommend all my friends
- bahara844 (10/5): Will be back - Stayed in here few times already and each time the place meet my needs. All staff very professional, especially Gosia, hotel supervisor who always was present and extremely helpfull. Rooms a bit tired, but clean. Breakfast really tasty. Will back for sure.
- callumbD1617IH (2/5): Bad - Experience was terrible avoid at all costs I realise there are probably a few managers but the one I had the delight of dealing with was honestly horrible better off busting any other travel lodge in Glasgow honestly hard to fathom the ladies attitude
- Girlygirl70 (10/5): Excellent - Excellent location and central
Rooms very clean and well maintained, staff were the friendliest from all the travelodges I’ve stayed at
Atmosphere is lovely and overall excellent value for money
- M768HKangeld (10/5): Great location - Recently stayed at the hotel -the location is great- central and convenient for exploring the area. The price was very reasonable and good value for the money.
The breakfast was good- selection of hot and cold options to start the day. The room was clean and comfortable- facing the backyard, which was quiet.
Andy was helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable.
Unfortunately, we were disappointed to find that the lifts were not working, it was a bit of a challenge. I hope that's a temporary issue.
Overall, I'd recommend this hotel, especially for its location <3
- debbiegD4898CT (4/5): Good location but hotel not for us - Good location, but surrounding area lets it down. Clean but dated room, beds comfy clean sheets, just not enough sockets. And bathroom also dated, towels were soft and white. Smell of damp hits you as you exit lift, into corridor staying on 1st floor. We went elsewhere for breakfast in morning, as the night before, as we sat in bar, men and a women, were using coffee and juice station. They were drinking from bottles and then refilling them. Which put us off. There’s a good chippy across the road. We didn’t have that much interaction with staff to comment.
- Anonthea (2/5): Needing a refurbish inside and out - Spent the night as on a theatre night away, 3 friends so we are able to share the 1 room. The room is very dated not enough sockets, also bathroom needs an update. We stayed on 1st floor,as you come out of lift the smell of damp hits you. No damp smell in room, The outside surrounding area also lets it down. There seemed to be temporary residents who seemed to help themselves to juice and coffee station, by drinking out of bottles and refilling. Which put us off a bit, so we went elsewhere for breakfast the next day. On a plus side there’s a good chippy across the road. We all decided that we wouldn’t return to this Travelodge.
- _Margk68 (10/5): Pleasant stay - Great staff, attentive and nothing was a trouble. Clean and tidy. My second stay and would definitely stay again. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of options!
- 171dominikaw (10/5): Glasgow trip - Good central location. Short walk to train station and all city center attractions. Even with cetral location, no mutch noise from steet. Staff friendly, helpful and share a lot of information if you need. Welcomed in hotel by Andy on reception when arrived. The next day received excellent service from Rachel.
Good location for visiting Glasgow. :)
- 485gilliane (10/5): Excellent service by both team members - Arrived at Glasgow central greeted by the assistant manager Andy and Luda made my dinner excellent service fantastic welcome to the hotel great service from both team members I will definitely return to the hotel and highly recommended this fantastic hospitality hotel to everyone definitely 5 star hotel I really enjoyed my stay
- 479azakh (2/5): Very dirty - Very dirty and out of date room, lots of dust and stains (on furniture, windows, walls). Bathroom door has no lock, vent clotted with dust. Photos will be attached
- JohnK829HI (2/5): Tired and dated - Room was quite awful, smelled of damp, curtains falling off the rails, no extraction in bathroom, mixer taps for shower, not successful working the one tiny radiator manually, artex everywhere and damp mould on ceilings…. Breakfast ok but with all the chic of the eastern block!! All for £191 for the night!!!! In my opinion very tired hotel needing a lot of attention.
- Anthonyrichards87 (6/5): Friendly Staff & Cleanliness, but Lighting and Noise were Problems - My stay at the Travelodge Glasgow Central scored an average 3/5. The biggest positives were how clean and fresh-smelling the hotel was, and the very friendly receptionist who made check-in and check-out smooth.
However, the room experience (Room 503) was disappointing. The lighting was poor as there was no overhead fixture, and there was noise/banging throughout the night. Only one lift being operational caused slight inconvenience. For future improvements, adding a simple coat hook would be great.
I prefer the Travelodge Queen Street location in Glasgow and would recommend that one instead.
- L7964MDianb (6/5): Decent at the price - For. Location, Price. Bed, Staff. Breakfast. Quiet.
Against. Run down and despite great staff a bit faded.
- wst65795Will (8/5): Wonderful, helpful staff! - The staff at the Glasgow Travelodge were incredibly helpful! The ladies made us feel right at home and nothing was too much trouble for them. (We've never felt more welcomed.) The room itself was good, the bed warm and comfortable, a coffee machine was sent up to us and a stack of goodies were provided every day. The in-house meals were also good and the location was perfect - walking distance to city centre and restaurants. Sorry to leave!!
- T9677CXmarkr (10/5): Fab localtion fab hotel - Great break 5 minutes walk from the city center - Loved the room clean and fresh great nights sleep and a spotless clean bed
- 357rosemaryr (8/5): Comfortable clean and quiet - Comfortable and quiet hotel in the centre of the city. Rooms very clean. Hotel clean. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices
- N300NXandreas (2/5): Vile - Absolute dump. Here currently with no water, then the water came back but toilet won't flush now. One lift for 7 floors. Get to room and key doesn't work.
- fivepennys (10/5): 4th time staying in this hotel - and will be back - This was my fourth stay at Travelodge Glasgow Central in the past five years, and once again everything was excellent. The staff were friendly and welcoming, check-in was smooth, and the room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The location is ideal for exploring the city and getting around easily.
Breakfast was okay—nothing fancy but perfectly fine, and no issues at all. Overall, a reliable and pleasant place to stay in Glasgow, and I’ll happily return again.
- mattyou26 (8/5): Good position in city centre - Staff very helpful and minor issues taken care of immediately would recommend my friends to stay in this hotel in a central position
- J7391LJchriso (6/5): Glasgow - The room was an attic room which sadly just made us feel claustrophobic. Soap dispenser didn't work in the shower. The staff you have are a credit to your organisation.
- angelagP6611KB (10/5): Travelodge Central Glasgow is a great place to stay - The hotel is in the perfect location for theatre, eating and shopping. It is near the Catholic Church I go to when I stay in Glasgow. That church has a 5 PM Saturday night service and a 10 AM Sunday morning service. Since checkout is at 12 PM and not 11 AM as most hotels are, it gives me time to go to Mass Sunday morning if I miss the Saturday night Vigil, and I can still make my way to the bus or train after a later check out. The church is a minute's walk from the hotel. The room was really comfortable and clean. The bed was really comfortable. It was quiet in the hotel. I originally booked a room by the lift by accident and the desk clerk changed my room when I asked if I might have one away from the lift. She is a delight. Each time I stay there, this lovely woman on the desk is kind and happy. Her work is important to her as are her guests. The shower was great, and the toilet was roomy. The room had a fan. I took my little dog with me and she was content in the room in my absence. I left the television and the fan on for her as white noise and she was quiet and well behaved. I appreciated the hotel not giving me a hard time for leaving her alone for a few hours at a time to allow me to see the ballet in the afternoon and later at night, a film. Another hotel in Glasgow's center hassled me about leaving my dog alone in the room for a few hours. I didn't stay there again. I always stay at the Travelodge Glasgow Centre (Theatre District).
- hc1401 (10/5): It's the small things that make a difference..... - No of course it's not a luxury hotel....although it was certainly clean and tidy and had all the essentials....and it was a bit noisy at night (both in adjoining rooms and on the street outside)...but we were staying with a team of young people who needed to be at an event early both mornings we were staying there, meaning we had to leave half an hour before breakfast was due even to start....however without any bother or complaint, full hot breakfasts were provided for all the guys long before breakfast officially began, much to their appreciation, and most certainly away above and beyond any service we were expecting. Delivered with a smile too....
- greenwiggy (10/5): Great day - Great hotel and staff. Very central to Glasgow centre. Yhe breakfadt was great. Very enjoyable stay. Will definitely ne going back.
- karensW7503JH (2/5): No thanks for no help - Having stayed here a few times I knew they had a toilet on ground floor.
Popped in as it was urgent and I have a medical condition.
Staff refused entry as I wasn’t booked to stay.
Hopefully they never have to experience the stress of not being able to locate a toilet in time.
- scotspauls (2/5): Rudest Staff i have ever spoken to - We normally stay here BUT after missing our train home we tried to book a room, Because we had just turned up and not booked online they REFUSED to let us in.
Staff were very rude and we will NEVER use this overpriced hotel again.
Your staff are the worse i have ever dealt with ! Find other hotels and hurt them in their pocket
- ABattula (4/5): unhappy with customer care - The customer service guy was rude and also the room was very compact and not well maintained do not recommend the travel lodge Central branch in Glasgow where as the other branch travelogue Govan is well maintained and customer service was very good with good customer service
- davinagunn (8/5): Lovely staff - Staff are all very friendly, easy check in and out. Our room was quite small and quite abit of noise outside however we were at the front and 1st floor.
- hedleyd2024 (8/5): Quiet for city centre - Quiet location despite proximity to nearby busy city centre.
Maybe 20 minutes walk to both main railway stations, less to local subwau
- G5064SIkevinb (10/5): Extremely pleasant and comfortable - My short stay here was extremely pleasant and comfortable. I did have abit of trouble with my door key. But the man in reception quickly resolved the issue. The unlimited breakfast in the morning were very well organized and there was plenty of choice.
- vickymH4148CP (10/5): Great Stay - This hotel is in the perfect location to explore Glasgow walking. It had everything we needed, kind staff and a great breakfast.
- pvad2025 (2/5): Never Again! - From arrival I knew I'd made a mistake. The outside appearance was awful rundown and dilapidated. Inside the reception was old and tired and seems to have been a 70's throwback. It also had a damp odour which continued into the room we were given. We complained but were told there was no foul smell and that no other room was available. The room was shabby and bath had visible rust! The food was scandalous rock hard croissants limp bread that was clearly cheap and the other food was poor quality. As a first time customer the experience was awful and I'll never stay at another Travelodge again. I wish I'd stuck to Premier Inn!
- vbj84 (4/5): Family Room Was having unpleasant smell with exhaust noise from outside shops - Family Room Was having unpleasant smell with exhaust noise from outside shops. Complained about it and got smaller room but got rid of unpleasant smell.
- MaryD58 (8/5): Glasgow Central Travelodge. - The hotel was well maintained. The food was good. It was well organized. Close to the city centre. The maps were extremely helpful.
- 365vaibhavs (6/5): Folding beds are not confortable. - Not that good for family. Other Travelodge i used before was better. Overall it is an average room to stay.
- Navigate40312982393 (2/5): Poor hotel - The staff at this hotel are excellent very friendly helpful and polite. It's a pity the hotel does not have the same high standards. Inside walls and ceilings are covered in artex and the whole place is very tatty. Breakfast was very good. Rooms are in dire need of a facelift
- liladjlila (2/5): Cleaness - The room carpet not clean. Bedding haven't been changed for 7days. Ventilation in bathroom not working. Noise coming from upstairs all night , could not sleep until 3am.
- 84daviek (10/5): Great Service and Room - Great service from time of arrival till departure. Room and toilet spotless. Great area to stay and parking so close. Thanks so much for making me feel so welcomed.
- nlea1 (10/5): Very welcoming - Staff very welcoming friendly and attentive. Room was clean and bright. Breakfast was really nice and lots of choice.
- Johanna378 (8/5): Good value although a bit tired - Good location near to city centre and transport. Very good price. Could do with some redecoration and smartening up. No problems, staff friendly, good nights sleep
- passingon2Here (10/5): Very good place to stay - Travelodge Glasgow Central - Very helpful staff. Room clean and comfortable. TV and shower worked well. Well set up for working at desk with sockets and good wifi. Very convienient for good eating places and subway. Will definitely stay again if in Glasgow.
- W7744JLleet (2/5): Don't waste your money - I could go into detail. However, it doesnt deserve my time.
So to sum up, don't bother, spend your hard earned money somewhere else.
- Ontheroadman1 (4/5): Scruffy Travelodge in need of TLC - Scruffiest Travelodge in need of TLC we have stayed in . A fair amount of guys who are definitely not business men or tourists staying at the hotel and serving themselves and eating breakfast without utensils .
Stained carpets in our tiny room and room which required maintenance but why bother when they will be getting top dollar off the government for housing the guests.
This Travelodge is scruffy inside and out and will not use again and in future will question Travelodge on their guest policy if we book with them again
- joannawM5890VL (10/5): Fair value central city stay. - The hotel is located a few minutes from the city centre and Sauchiehall Street. There are a number of multi storey car parks nearby if driving.
WELCOME at reception was warm, friendly and helpful.
ROOM does what it says on the tin. No surprises. Comfy and clean. The bathroom was clean but is definitely in need of an update. Nice touch is,the new coffee pod machines, posh hot chocolate sachets and kit-kats instead of tired biscuits!
I'd stay here again (price dependant).
- natalier382 (10/5): Great little find! Quiet hotel in the middle of all the city has to offer - Just as you would expect of a Travelodge, clean room, decent size bed, decent size bathroom with a bath and good customer service. Located in the middle of the city but was really quiet inside and out.
- cathyely (10/5): Overnight Stay - The hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The hotel does need to be refurbished but it was clean and we had no issues with the room. Would stay again for an overnight as it was in a central location making it easy to get around Glasgow.
- P2840JGgracek (10/5): Lovely place to stay, - We were very happy, the room was spotless, staff were very helpful, the breakfast was lovely, There was a Kettle and some complimentary tea, coffee, we even got chocolate biscuits to go with it,
- thet320 (4/5): Meh! - The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. The room and bathroom were clean but pretty shabby, chipped plasterwork on the wall and mould on the ceiling in the bedroom, peeling paint on both sides of the bathroom door (the photo was the better side!). Shower hard to use without soaking the floor. Expected better for the price tbh. Would go elsewhere next time - or if had saved on the room price, could easily have paid for a taxi home!
- chloereilly45 (6/5): Very average - Very polite and welcoming staff. Upon arrival hotel looks clean. Only issue was bed sheet were stained at part, hairs in the bed, carpet had stains all over it. Just need a good refurb of rooms. Good enough though for a 1 night stay wouldn’t stay any longer than that
- samH2293UW (10/5): Ideal location for our stay - The travel lodge is in a fantastic location central to lots of places.
It is a 15 minute walk from the bus stop for the airport express bus.
The hotel downstairs is bright clean and welcoming and the staff are amazing , friendly and welcoming.
Our sleep was amazing as the beds are really comfortable and smell clean as does the room.
The room was immaculately clean and well stocked.
We needed top ups and left the sign on the door requesting them. We were out for the morning and returned to find everything stocked up again including the towels.
The room was bright airy a little tired in places like the bottom of the toilet door and skirting boards but it didn't worry us as the room smelt fresh and clean and was clean. There is easy access to the front of the building and the rooms.
This was our second visit and we are going back . Already in the planning stage . Thank you to everyone in the team for a wonderful stay .
- Coastal25502431964 (8/5): Comfy bed but no shower or hand wash - Comfy bed but no shower or hand wash. Travelodge did give me complimentary breakfast but not good sleep with door after lift banging
- Hayl1983 (10/5): 5 star treatment - After a terrible experience in an Edinburgh hotel arriving at Travelodge Glasgow was like breath of fresh air. Staff could not be more friendly and helpful. I’m useless with remembering names but every staff member working stood out with excellent customer care. Rooms were lovely, clean and plenty coffee to keep us going. Had the best nights sleep after our terrible experience from previous nights. 5 star hotel and customer care. Will definitely be booking there my next trip. Thank you to all staff working 1st and 2nd off June! I wish I remembered all names. Everyone exceptional!! Also smells lovely.
- R4531SGangelaw (8/5): Good value city hotel - Good value, no frills hotel. Clean and organised
Good central location with easy parking
Ideal for a short break with friends
- chrissyd506 (10/5): a lovely Hotel after a long journey - very easy check in with lovely friendly helpful staff. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The evening meal and breakfast were top notch. Not having to rush to check out was also a boon. Would certainly recommend to any one needing to stop over in Glasgow. The Hotel is also within easy reach of the bus station and main train station
- C2886OIfional (10/5): Very friendly helpful staff. Lovely comfortable bed. Good breakfast with is great value for money. Hotel nice and clean. - Lovely comfortable beds and quiet room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. We had everything we needed for our stay in Glasgow. The hotel is in a convenient position for access to shops and buses. Would stay here again if travellin to Glasgow
- absgirl (4/5): Fairly grim. - Oh dear. What a disappointing stay. Hotel is grubby, unloved & in need of a serious refurb. We were only here for one night (x2 adults + x2 kids) but will definitely not return. Everywhere you look there are faults. From the entrance, to the lifts to the rooms. This is no way a criticism/reflection of the staff who are clearly doing their very best with what they’ve got. Our room was pretty cramped & although the beds were clean, that’s the best I can say. Every surface was covered in artex & painted over. Carpet, whilst no doubt had been hovered, was grubby & stained. Bathroom the same. Enamel chipped around the bath and cheap sanitary ware. Bathroom was also minuscule. Thankfully for us this was only a bed for the night & nothing more. I would definitely not recommend staying here if you are looking for anything more.
Breakfast was a sorry affair too. No tables set up. Looked a bit like a works cafeteria. Again, not a reflection on the staff but it was grim, at best. We ate very quickly then left.
Served the purpose of a bed for the night but at £165 was a serious rip off.
- carolhH8053UL (8/5): Great location and great staff - Great location with discounted parking very close by at Cambridge Street. Friendly staff. The breakfast was plentiful and set us up for the day. The coffee machine in the room was a bonus as my husband loves proper coffee. For a city centre hotel it's fantastic value.
- Someonesmumx2 (10/5): Friendly, Clean & Convenient - Friendly staff, rooms clean, convenient location, good breakfast husband had cooked buffet, I had the continental all fresh and delicious. Hotel decor a bit dated but we weren't there for decor. This was our second stay here and we will return if staying in Glasgow again.
- Welshboy58 (2/5): Good location - Extremely dated Travelodge and overdue a refurbishment. Paid extra for a top floor room but unclear of the benefits other than free WiFi and a pod coffee machine.
- elainepitcaithly (10/5): Fantastic stay. - Always go to travelodge Central when visiting Glasgow. Very convenient for centre. Staff are very friendly, hotel and rooms very clean and beds are amazing! So comfortable, always a good nights sleep. Hopefully have another trip this year.
- OnAir10766427902 (8/5): Great Location - Good location, and very short walk into the heart of the city centre.
Easy to access from the M8 motorway.
Carparks, coffee shops and cafes are all just a few metres away.
Cosy bar and restaurant area, and a comfy, clean and quiet room.
Good value for money.
I'd choose this particular Glasgow Travelodge again
- staceycT7795YQ (10/5): A Warm Scottish Welcome – Exceptional Service! - Jolanta, Gosia and Pavo. Thank you for making my stay lovely!
From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt right at home. As it was my first time in Scotland, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome.
Check-in was smooth and friendly, with plenty of helpful tips on things to do nearby. Throughout my stay, every staff member I interacted with was warm, attentive, and genuinely happy to help.
Pavo, thanks for the light hearted jokes. Going the extra mile and bringing my food to my door. 🌟
Jolanta, thanks for hunting for brown sauce for me. 🌟
Gosia, thanks for finding which room I was in and remembering better than me 😂 thanks also for opening my room door whilst I juggled my belongings. 🌟
The hotel itself was lovely—clean, comfortable, and in a great location—but it was the people that truly made my stay special. I left feeling like I had been visiting friends rather than just staying at a hotel. I can’t recommend this hotel enough and will absolutely be back on my next trip to Scotland!
- susantaylor0412 (2/5): Worst nights sleep and smallest room - We had booked a room on the top floor and asked for the quietest room as we were competing and needed a good sleep.
We were put into the tiniest of rooms, with a small double bed, a tiny bathroom that smelt bad and you could hardly move at all in the room due to the size. It is the smallest room I have ever been in!
We got a terrible nights sleep and were unable to be moved rooms. It seemed like the staff working during check in and over night didn’t care and we left without having slept and generally the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Glasgow so won’t be back!
- gaynorglass (10/5): Everything I needed for a nice stay - In Glasgow for concert, which was only a 20 minute walk away, hotel is close to the main shopping areas, room was clean, bed and pillows very comfy, perfect for my needs
- alanbeatty (2/5): Dog whining in next room - We never slept a wink due to a dog whining all night in the next guest room. A nightmare. Staff were pleasant and hotel is ok. We have stayed in numerous other travelodge and never endured this problem.
- georgedoull (6/5): Not really up to standard - Booked a double but got upgraded (?) to family room. Though room was bigger windows were glazed over as it overlooked a dire roof area. Quite a bit of noise during night, babies and toddlers. Hotel feels a bit rundown. Though just off city centre street feels just a bit dodgy with characters hanging around. On a positive note was able to get 12 oclock check in for £15. Never took breakfast.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Hotel bien ubicado y economico. Se encuentra cerca del centro y es comodo
