Guest Reviews
- dav80739 (6/5): Good hotel - Good rooms. Dinner menu is the usual frozen slop. Good breakfast.would stay again but give the evening menu a miss.
- Itzfaith05 (10/5): Amazing - Pawel helped us on arrival was an amazing help. Great customer service, asked for early check in and was happy to allow us to come earlier than our check in, if I could I would give this 6 stars for customer service alone
- tylerwC4602NZ (10/5): Very Welcomeing - On early arrival we asked for early check in and we're served by pawel who very kindly let us in amazing staff and atmosphere couldn't of asked for better service
- TravellingKens (8/5): Best Travelodge - Best Travelodge i’ve stayed in for sure, very clean and friendly staff.
Found my mattress to be wet through for some reason, at 2am in the morning. Dealt with very professionally by the night lady on the desk - moved to another room, allowed to move stuff in morning.
Breakfast and dinner was okay. Double check you’re in the right car park and input your reg in machine by desk.
- Anne2350 (10/5): Good hotel handy for Edinburgh Airport - Great hotel with short bus ride to Edinburgh Airport. Staff very helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable beds. We got the deal for dinner which was great value. Food tasty and drinks reasonable prices.
- sandracI2877WL (10/5): First class - Location spot on

- debbiepE8405TE (10/5): Good value, comfortable and clean hotel close to Edinburgh airport - Nice welcome from friendly receptionist, comfortable room at quiet side of hotel so no traffic noise. Great bed and good sized bedroom. Room and shower room very clean. Easy early checkout and close to airport. Also good value for money.
- kevinbQ8675BO (10/5): A Very enjoyable stay here. - First class reception, easy to book fast pace got told how to work swabs on the doors, found the room easily, the room was clean and tidy everything was in it's place, slept well after a long day of travel, had an excellent breakfast with all the extra's too, would stay here again any time of the year.
- R5994TGdavidb (10/5): A good overnight stay - We stayed in this Travelodge the night before flying from Edinburgh airport, comfort in room was good food was simple but good and a good breakfast in morning. Price was good car park was small but we did get parked without any problem would definitely stay here again
- Ziva2622 (10/5): Great hotel close to the airport - Hotel was clean and tidy. Reception staff really welcoming. Food was lovely. Hotel is close to the airport and easy bus routes into Edinburgh.
- 501cathh (10/5): Great night before airport stopover - Fantastic, friendly staff, who went the extra mile. Great food and drink. Comfortable rooms
- murdochm934 (10/5): Excellent Accessible Acconodation - As ever, we use rhis Travelodge because it is situated close to M8/M9/A8 to Edinburgh. We use the accessible facilities which are excwllwnt. More to the point though, all of the staff feom receptionists, kitchen and cleaning staff evidence the highest standards of professional customer care - friendly, welcoming and efficient. We often have specific requirements which the staff always help us with. Stephanie and the rest of the team ensured that we had a lovely meal last night. Well done to all!
- 615martynk (8/5): For an airport hotel good value and simple to transfer to from flights. - Great value for a room , room was clean and tidy, larger than anticipated for an airport stopover, Food served in the restaurant, was not Michelin sstar but was ok for the price and served hot to eat.
- shivagoudb (10/5): Great service - Kerry, who served drinks at the bar, was fantastic friendly, attentive, and very professional. She created a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere and made the experience genuinely enjoyable. Excellent service and a real credit to the hotel.
- mcgorr (10/5): Very good - We stayed one night without breakfast. The hotel was very comfortable and the staff very helpful and welcoming. We had a car so can’t comment on public transport links. We would certainly stay again.
- DuncanA80 (10/5): right place to stay - I know its near the airport but you can't hear them just clean and tidy accommodation and you can taxi to airport and free parking up to 72 hours but if there longer just input your reg food fantastic especially the breakfast and if you fancy a pint or two there a great bar and evining meals we managed to get two nights for £59 staff will leave you to what ever you do and if you need help they will always try to help even the lovely cleaning staff being disabled gave me a room on ground floor and no bath grate size shower which was great. but I would say it fantastic stay and just next to the tT/L there a coop and a couple mints up the road the a Mc d
- NickSurdu (10/5): Good Hotel - Good hotel clean and very good price. Staff was very helpful. Food in the restaurant was not great. For as.
- peterP9825XA (8/5): Really well priced food and drink, the room was decently priced with great staff - Just about everything was perfect. The sound proofing between the floor above rooms can be improved, but its not that bad. Other than that, it is really good all round
- natalieconnify (8/5): First time - The staff were fabulous location near airport what we wanted food excellent value ok. Room was clean although had to inform manger there was dry blood on tray
- Shaun477 (10/5): Perfect stay in Edinburgh - A pleasant and enjoyable stay. This hotel is clean and tidy. The staff are extremely helpful and welcoming.
If you stay, we recommend the unlimited breakfast! You will not be disappointed.
- rubysJ183KU (10/5): Our lovely stay - Hi we enjoyed our stay Friendly staff clean room ,comfortable and warm ,only a short journey into Edinburgh, We used the bus Just over the main road from travel lodge We had a evening meal one night ,and was pleased it was a lovely meal .we didn't have breakfast this time we were up late lol ,
- NadeemShakir (10/5): Travel to Stay for Business or Personal - Excellent place for short or longer stays . This is more closer to the Edinburgh Airport more convenient to access the travel link to Edinburgh city and airport for travel
- michalsS7203LL (10/5): Lovely stay - Such a brillant place. Check in available at any time. John(manager) very polite and helpfull. He explain us rules and how to get to the center. Jo was the best one. Her sence of humor was absolutly. Good bless for this hotel.
- jayoliquino (10/5): Great hotel - Stayed here for a couple days. John the manager has been great with us. Location is the one you are paying for.. just a few minutes from the airport.
- F4619MZjoanm (10/5): Thanks John! - Me and my whole family stayed in this hotel and we are all pleased with the welcoming, helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommend.John the manager is great, thanks a lot, definitely coming back.
- 580jemimahm (10/5): Great hotel and lovely staff! - Had a lovely stay in this hotel, the staff were lovely and super helpful. Special thanks to the receptionist with the pink/red hair and the manager John for being extra welcoming and friendly.
- ZeHag (10/5): The night before the long hall flight - The staff was very accommodating, very friendly and took care of all of our needs. I highly recommend them for their courteous service and attention to detail.
- Ryan9261 (4/5): Staff could try and be more attentive to customers - Not very good, staff make you wait endlessly and when I approached check in one staff member left saying she was just checking something and never returned resulting in me just standing aimlessly. Room was ok but for the price could have been better, lots of stains, a hole in the wall with a cold draught so I had to have the heating on full. I didn’t even say a word at check in without being condescendingly asked had I parked at a Travelodge spot and not another place. On a Saturday night. At a business park.
- ChristinaO219 (8/5): Very good all round hotel - Perfectly adequate for our needs. Family rooms were spacious and clean. Would have liked somewhere to store bags or drawers so lost a star for that. Food was surprisingly good in the restaurant both for breakfast and dinner. Plenty parking too. Friendly staff. Close enough to the city for attractions. Would recommend and would stay again.
- W5134UMdavidf (10/5): First rate staff and stay - All staff especially Steph and Jo were very helpful and made my stay very good.
Even at the night when I went for food they were very attentive and helpful
- nigelbH6688PR (10/5): Everything you need - Very clean and more or less opposite Edinburgh airport which was very handy, also had food and drink if required, definitely would stay here again
- Concinamus (10/5): An unexpectedly pleasant stay in an unexpectedly convenient spot. - What a lovely surprise! Honestly, my expectations for this hotel were not high; I chose it because it was so much cheaper than the hotels in the city centre, and for its apparent proximity to the airport, but was braced for something rather mediocre in terms of atmosphere and service. Oddly, there is no dedicated transfer from the terminal, but in fact the buses shuttle back and forth to the nearby Ratho Station stop every few minutes. On arrival the welcome was warm and positive, and the room proved to be clean, peaceful and well appointed. All the essential amenities were present in terms of tea/coffee, TV, wifi etc., and there were none of those annoying LEDs that keep you awake at night. The water temperature and pressure in the bathroom were fine, even if the sink was on the small side for shaving. The bar/cafe area was perfectly functional (if not exactly cosy), with good beer and a breakfast that was more than adequate, even for a hungry vegan like me. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful, even going the extra mile by looking after my bags for a few hours after checkout with no fuss or extra charge. Overall, this hotel offers unbelievable value for money and I would definitely stay there again. Incidentally, the frequency, rapidity and low cost of the public transport into the centre are quite astonishing, so getting in and out of town was a cinch. It all made for a great weekend, for which many thanks indeed.
- Rebssssss (10/5): Fantastic service - I had a wonderful stay at Travelodge Edinburgh Airport. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. The location is fantastic. I really couldn't find a fault with the accommodation. The best part however is the friendliness of the staff. They really could not be more helpful and efficient. I would like to mention John the manager who was particularly helpful. He really went above and beyond and helped me with my parking issues among other things.
All in all a great hotel and I will most definitely be returning.
- Flyer22182410200 (8/5): Ratho Travelodge - Travelodge at Ratho is very convenient when you are flying from Edinburgh airport.
The rooms are nice and comfortable but the showers are placed high on the wall and can't be adjusted. Not very convenient for a woman or if you dont want to wash your hair.
- Andrewhargreaves (6/5): Room not up to standard - We stopped here hotel looked nice staff where very friendly
I payed extra to take my dog the room we stopped in smelled of dog wee and had may stains on the carpet room no 123
My dog is well housed trained
We came down for breakfast the cooked food was just warm not hot
But a staff member said sorry to people for waiting for fresh food the area was clean and tidy
- jonathanh5392 (10/5): Good little hotel near airport - Great stay booked last minute still very cheap
Good value late check out
Room big clean and very comfy
Staff all really nice checked in by Millie who was lovely
Would stay again
- LolTM (6/5): Great for the airport - Look, this is a Travelodge and most of us are probably aware of what that means. However, in the advertised 'recently refurbished' rooms, I was not expecting a TV from the 90s with no way to connect your own device to it either via HDMI or casting. The rest of the room was fine but not providing the method for guests to watch their own content is maddening in 2025, hence the mark down.
- clairecE1773UA (10/5): Enjoyable stay - Stayed for 2 nights whilst attending a convention at the Royal Highland Centre.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff on reception and at the hotel bar were welcoming.
Breakfast buffet was hot and well stocked.
Would happily stay there again.
Also very easy to get to on the bus from central Edinburgh.
- 285stephend (10/5): Airport hotel - Recently updated great for airport free parking nice staff bar supper was good value, room was ample minutes from airport
- raychal1505 (10/5): Great stay - Room was clean, bar was nice good atmosphere good prices. We would stay again. Nice food good staff.
- stevenrZ5787SY (10/5): Overnight stay/Early start - Stayed for 1 night on the 6th of October.Location was a short taxi to the airport.Check in was seamless and found the rooms clean and comfortable. We faced the main road but noise was minimal as were the noise from other rooms.Had a drink in the bar which was priced at what you would expect.Taxis were ordered for us but unfortunately had to book 2 as there were 7 of us.At £22 each I was slightly surprised that an 8seater could not be booked by the hotel itself. My only slight complaint but still cheaper than using other nearby hotels
- sharonsR3117EQ (10/5): Great Edinburgh Airport Stay - 5 min from Edi airport to travelodge Edi Ratho. Perfect stay and was great price. Clean & comfortable with bar/restaurant added buffet breakfast for £10pp great value. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again
- Midlandsgirl187050 (10/5): Handy for the airport and close enough to the city - I spent two nights here and the location was ideal. There was sufficient free parking for a Friday and a Saturday and the hotel was clean and modern. You can see the airport from the hotel, but you do need transport to get there and back.
I got the bus into Edinburgh, reception had key bus information and you use the footbridge to cross over to get the bus into the city and request the stop coming back. Buses were frequent - the local ones are cheaper than the 900 ones which are faster.
If I was visiting again I would use the hotel as I don't mind being 30min bus journey away from Princes Street.
- Eilish1992 (10/5): C Pearce carlisle - Really nice rooms food good bed comfy would recommend any one to stay good value for money well worth a visit not far from edinburgh airport
- sgleeson2025 (2/5): Give it a miss, - Poor pricing. Ordinary room. Below average staff. Unhelpful instructions to airport. Geeting more money from you seemed their number one priory.
- DSM0925 (8/5): Fabulous Staff, Rooms pretty good, food needs work - As per the title - the staff were fabulous, all happy, smiling and seemingly glad they were there.
The room was better and bigger than expected.
The food needs work - dinner had been sitting under a heater a little too long - dry - and breakfast wasn't warm enough, but well stocked.
If you're looking for somewhere cheap & (very) cheerful to stay whilst you're waiting to get on a flight, this place is for you - it's a few minutes by taxi from the terminal.
- 752cerib (10/5): 5 out of 5 every time - 5 out of 5 every time. Stayed here multiple times and it's faultless. Location is excellent. Cleanliness and facilities are excellent but the real stars that need a special mention are the staff.... customer service at its very best, throughout.
- X9499OEelaineb (10/5): Professional staff shame about some of the guest's - We stayed here last night and had an early flight this morning. There were a group of girls who had obviously been cut off at the bar verbally abusing the young girl because of this. We had to leave the cafe because of the noise and wished the staff luck. The staff were polite but firm with the group. The room was spotless and the food was good. We are staying again on our return from holiday in a weeks time and looking forward to a quieter stay.
- M3535CAjanem (10/5): Just perfect - Stayed here with my family before we went on holiday. The place is lovely, food is delicious and the staff are another level. They are all so welcoming and so so kind I have never experienced nicer staff. Thank you airport!
- Emmalouise966 (10/5): Amazing!! All the staff here at Travelodge airport especially Millie and jo. - Staff at this airport travelodge are absolutely fantastic. The best hotel I have ever stayed at, the staff make it absolutely amazing. Thank you guys!!
- AgnieszkaB2033 (10/5): Staying at Travelodge Airport - Friendly and helpful staff, tidy and comfortable rooms. Good food, fantastic breakfast and desserts. Highly recommended
- 309demih (2/5): Worst experience with Millie at reception - Came to this hotel before getting a flight on my hen do, at 7pm we were outside having a laugh and a little dance (nothing too loud) The lady came over and told us “can you stop” there’s people sleeping. Which was fair enough and we were quiet from there. At this point a lovely lady that was travelling bought us all one shot from the bar. The other girls went to the bar for their first drink. Me the bride didn’t even get one. When we went to the bar Millie looked them up and down and said “have you been drinking already” but served them very rudely and unprofessionally. We then sat down nicely with our mum and some other travellers that were staying in the hotel making no noise ah all talking amongst ourselves, About 45 minutes later my myself and my friend went to the bar for two shots and Millie refused service. At this point there’s people in the bar that are considerably drunk, yodelling one guy can barely stand and we were sober, sat down talking to each other having a good time. Millie was very rude to us and said well she can refuse service anytime when we asked the policy but couldn’t say why? This is ridiculous when we came to have a good time to catch a flight at 3am. Millie shouldn’t not be working in customer service at all. I work in customer service and if that was me I would’ve been fired for speaking to anyone in the matter that she spoke to us in. This occurred on the 26th of September between 19:00-21:00 Very unhappy with this service and will be taking this considerably further. We tried to reconcile with Millie but she just said it’s her choice even though there’s people that can’t stand you that’s she serving. There’s a difference between being drunk and being happy. This is ridiculous and she’s in the wrong employment industry.
- Andrewd4m (6/5): Average overnight but close to Edinburgh airport - No frills hotel. Beds are comfortable and warm. Quite noisy due to the location to the airport and there’s not a lot in the area, so you’re fairly stuck with eating in the hotel. Not much to see in the walkable distance. Staff are friendly and no issues there. TVs in the room are tiny and no way of linking a fire stick if you want to watch Netflix.
- 959rlt (4/5): Loud noise all night - The hotel charged extra for quiet room but there was none voice insulation on the room door and other quest banged their room doors, toilet doors and the fire door on the corridor constantly until 2 am and I could not sleep.
- Daydream07085154992 (10/5): Nice - Friendly staff, early check in available. Pawel checked us in and was very friendly. Cheap buses to Edinburgh city center and to airport even early in the morning.
- tradelinkltd (4/5): Very average overall - Very average service overall. we were pulled out of the room due the smoke alarm which was competely unnecessary.......
- milpolt (6/5): Not happy - Long black hair in the bottom of the shower tray.Went down to get some food and I ordered Chicken Tikka, which arrived very dry, I did eat it as I was hungry. My wife got the steak and Ale pie, but it was overcooked, and the pastry was so hard that she didn't eat a lot of it. The girl came to clear the table and asked if everything was alright, and I explained what was wrong with the meals. She did offer a desert, but we declined it as if they can't get the food right I don't think the desert would be much better.
We have paid for the all you can eat breakfast, we just hope things can get better. Not happy at all for the money we have paid.
- dendave2025 (10/5): Edinburgh Tattoo - Hotel near to Edinburgh airport and city centre, just a 10 min bus ride to airport and 30mins to city, loads of buses to choose from. Very friendly and helpful staff. friendly and helpful staff
- jaypL7880ZI (6/5): Expensive stay with very average facilities and service - Hotel location and parking was average.
Our room had a front panel missing off the air vent which meant a constant cold draft coming through all night. No shower gel in the bathroom and not enough pillows or towels.
Addressed the above with staff and agreed to stay in the room for convenience of not having to move late at night, as we'd managed to block the draft but the shower gel and towels issue was not resolved so had to sort out again later - not great really especially for the room rates being charged!
- dlanorc75 (8/5): Comfortable and clean rooms, conveniently close to airport - I chose this hotel close to the airport due to an early flight and was satisfied with the comfort, cleanliness, quietness and staff service.
The room price was very high, maybe due to the Oasis concert taking place that night, and the taxi fee is still 20£ to the airport despite the short distance. Other than that, it's a nice place.
- claynjen1 (2/5): Terrible Hotel with great customer service - No ventilation system in the rooms, no fridge or microwave, no vent in the bathroom, and you have to pay for wifi. We had to change rooms because the first one was super hot and right above the entrance, so with the window open cigarette smoke was coming right into our room. Also had to go down to reception to get a hair dryer.
- lesgregwes (6/5): okay place to stay - Hotel was clean and quiet, though when we had the window open for fresh air there was quite a lot of noise from the road below.
- andreatK1531FZ (6/5): not so good and not to bad - normal hote.
Not very close to the airport
The room was not clean. We found plastic peaces on the moquette
- isobel187 (8/5): location good for airport - fab staff very helpful double room was that small tripping over suitcases during the night didnt have evening meal was told it was over price and not nice food
- paulad0negan (8/5): Edinburgh airport - Good for a pit stop impersonal stay. Rooms clean. Lot of noise at night but airport hotel so untimely comings and goings to be expected.
- sursha2235 (10/5): All good - Overall good experience with the hotel and I’m happy that being with my family I was able to book the hotel in a very short time ..
- Sloanie_2022 (6/5): Ideal location for the airport. - Room was perfect. Meals took nearly one hour to arrive and we were told it was due to us moving tables. We had not moved. When they eventually arrived they were very small portions and luke warm. Staff were not interested.
- catrionan361 (2/5): Great airport location, awful smell in restaurant - Great location for the airport, but the smell in the lobby and restaurant made it impossible to eat or drink there. A combination of bleach and really old greasy food
- peterbV7051WI (10/5): A great night's sleep - We just booked for one night as we had an early flight the next morning. We were very happy and had a great sleep.
- natalieconnify (6/5): Holiday - Overnight stay as flying from Edinburgh Airport. Staff pleasant room blood of previous guests on fan in room food ok
- bonrory5 (10/5): All round great experience - Don't let the 2 star rating fool you. This was by far the best of any budget (and even some so called 5 star) hotels we've ever stayed in.
Extremely professional and friendly staff without exception. Clean comfortable rooms lovely breakfast and very easy parking and check in. Plenty of towels and pillows and quality shower gel, hand soap etc. Even fans in every room, particularly appreciated in this hot weather.
Yes there was some road and aeroplane noise if the windows are open but that's par for the course if you want an airport hotel. Access to public transport was excellent and they kindly ordered a taxi for us to go to the airport. We will definitely be back.
- 860maggie (10/5): Pre-flight accommodation - Travelodge at Ratho Station was ideal for an overnight stay prior to a morning flight from Edinburgh Airport. Very comfortable accommodation with quick access to the airport. Will use this Travelodge again.
- Rebssssss (10/5): Very restful - Hotel was fantastic. Very clean and very good location. The bar/ restaurant is really great and freshly refurbished. Great to be able to have nice food and drinks without having to travel outside the hotel.
The staff are really helpful. I would like to give a special mention to Jo who really did go out of her way to give as much help as possible. She has a very pleasant way about her and makes you feel like nothing is too much bother.
Great hotel and I will definitely be back.
- harryleslie84 (6/5): .. - Good hotel , but shocking service at restaurant ordered food told 40 minute wait for it then to be an hour and a half before our food arrived
- dawnjC8805WR (2/5): Find phone number - How on earth do you find a phone number to ring this hotel? Sick of trying to find 1. I have booked a room and have not recieved an email from them
- kazm369 (10/5): Excellent - Lovely clean hotel, staff were friendly and most helpful, great choice of breakfast. A great place to stay
- P5059CYdavids (10/5): Fantastic - Very friendly and kind stuff made you feel very welcome , anything I needed was sorted out with no hassle, good comfy bed and decent shower
- 109maisieb (10/5): Amazing! - Great service! Very friendly and helpful staff. Parking is easy to access, good location to airport. Would 100% recommend!
- louiseaE5779IU (10/5): Helpful staff - Many thanks to Pavel and the rest of the helpful staff for the stay. Although we arrived literally in the middle of the night everything worked out fine :) .
The breakfast was good and the hotel is advisable for those arriving via the airport. .
- scottie0 (8/5): Bog Standard Travelodge - Stayed one night as leaving at 4:30 next morning for a flight. Was fine - nothing too fancy and was enough for a one night stay. Had a meal and drinks - pizza's were good - drink prices were ridiculous though. Far too expensive. 3 guys in the bar were quite loud and swearing etc. Staff never spoke to them and it was off putting while trying to eat our tea and also with a child.
- clairecM214ZL (10/5): Weekend Stay - 3rd time staying here. Booked for 1 Saturday night then decided we needed the Friday aswell, couldn't book the same room but when we arrived the staff sorted it so we had the same room all weekend. Great customer service from all the staff on reception and bar. Breakfast was okay, had dinner one night and food was lovely. Would recommend for a stay over if in Edinburgh as much cheaper than city centre with good transport links
- bern52hard (10/5): Travel by Travelodge - One of our best stays in all the UK was the Edinburgh Ratho Station Travelodge. Amazing staff, service, and facilities... only glitch was internet speed. The Must-stop anytime you visit Edinburgh. Ps...Co-Op shop a few minutes walk away.
- suewO9864OW (10/5): Lay over - A pleasant stay at Edinburgh Ratho Station in preparation for an early flight. Our stay was clean and comfortable.
- 825charlie (8/5): City visit - A very handy location for visiting Edinburgh plus near the airport with regular buses to the city. There was a restaurant and bar and adequate car parking.
- JEke27 (8/5): Great reasonably priced hotel, a short bus ride away from the airport - Great reasonably priced hotel, a short bus ride away from the airport. Always friendly and helpful...Also serves Camden pale on draft
- 633DebbieS (10/5): Close to Airport; Great Value - Very convenient and well priced. Spent the night there before returning rental car and flying home the next morning. Ate dinner there and was pleasantly happy with quality of food. Breakfast could have had a few more options, but still pretty good. Room was comfortable, clean and quiet -- despite being so close to the airport. Highly recommend!
- JuneC486 (8/5): Clean and quiet - We chose this for location as we had an early flight. It was clean and quiet, and the restaurant was surprisingly good. You have to take a cab to the actual airport (there is no shuttle) and that was the only thing I would change.
- rothermere007 (10/5): enjoyed our stay - well kept travelodge room clean and well maintained restaurant clean and good food enjoyed our stay xxx
- allisonpX7571MP (10/5): Typical travelodge but cheaper than central edinburgh prices - Have stayed here several times now when fkying from Edinburgh. Typical Travelodge, comfy rooms, beds, etc, has restaurant onsite. Taxis not cheap to here tho to airport around £20 one way and £6 more if coming from airport to here as taxi charges you fee
- Geoff0154 (10/5): Peaceful nights sleep - Nice clean and comfortable hotel close to the airport. The reception staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Gave a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed.
- johnsH2758VI (10/5): Assistant general manager was very helpful - Assistant general manager was very helpful. Hotel is about a five minute drive to the airport. There is also a grocery store that is right next to the hotel so it is very convenient for meals. Rooms were clean and sizable. Overall I was pleased with my stay.
- X5979MRjohnc (10/5): Great location for Edinburgh Airport . - Very convenient for Edinburgh Airport and an excellent option ahead of an early morning flight. The rooms and beds are comfortable and support being well rested ahead of any travels. Only a short bus trip from across the road in the morning.

- joeloganfc (10/5): Well worth it - A welcoming and well maintained hotel within easy access to the airport, the city centre and wider afield. Despite its proximity to the airport, no noise and a good night's sleep. Would certainly use again
- deepfriedmarsbar2015 (10/5): Lovely stay! - This is the second time I’ve stayed here and it was even better than then the first. The hotel has had a refit recently and looks brilliant. The staff were all so friendly and approachable, special mention to Steph, I enjoyed our chat!
The hotel has easy access into Edinburgh- the X19 from the bus stop across from the hotel takes around 30 minutes to get to Princes Street. Ideal for the Royal Highland Centre too, roughly a 15 minute walk from the hotel.
I’d recommend this hotel to anyone.
- ashleybS1439EX (10/5): amazingggg - what an amazing experience the lovely lady alex had such a bubbly and friendly approach. She went over and above to help us get directions and transport to the football grounds. Alex came over with printed out maps and directions. Alex you are a legend Highly recommend here much love willie and ashley
- Tim (4/5): Ok for 1 night (just). - Firstly, not quite an 'Airport' hotel when it takes 10 mins by car along a dual carriage way, I had expected to walk there from arrivals.
There is only a tiny soap bar in the room, no shampoo or shower gel.
We paid for the breakfast only to find there were no scrambled eggs left & 3 sorry looking sausages, the bread was stale and I had to ask the staff for cups then plates.
There was dirty plates & cups on most of the tables, which were still there when we left, dissapointing, there seemed to be a zero care factor.
- David (6/5): Fair hotel - Couch in room had a few stains on, pillows were a bit flat, however we did get extra when asked for. Room was ver hot with only a heater in room, luckily it was a cool night. This hotel is good transit hotel. Good value if you get the special rate
- Verified traveler (8/5): Decent place - hard to get to - In general the Travelodge was well priced and a decent place to say. However, it is difficult to get to from the airport to the hotel as you must take a taxi or ask for advice on finding a bus. There is a shuttle from the hotel to the airport though.
- Anon (2/5): Parents with infants or young children be warned - We had a terrible experience trying to eat in the cafe/restaurant. The manager refused to heat our 9 month old's baby food and also refused to provide warm water to bring it to room temperature. He insisted that under the circumstances the baby should eat cold food. He also claimed that "all Travelodge customers with young children knew that Travelodge as a policy would not heat baby food". How parents (like ourselves) would know this without being told before hand was a mystery to us. Certainly this policy is not publically stated on Travelodge websites or in their restaurants/cafes (now signs were in evidence). As a way out of the empass we offered to sign a legal disclaimer indicating we wouldn't sue if our baby got food poisoning if they heated the food; a compromise he refused to agree to. We have travelled nationally and internationally many times with our child and never received such shabby treatment. The manager was aggressive, surly and patronising; certainly not the kind of person one would expect in a customer-facing profession.
