• NMMommaZ (10/5): Lovely overnight visit - I am a local, but had not visited the resort in many years. My lifelong best friend came over from London to receive a distinguished alumni award from UNM, with the event held in the hotel. I decided to book us a room for the night. We had an absolutely lovely time! The room was gorgeous and we had a great view. Our lunch after check out was delicious, and they were able to accommodate my friend’s allergies. Afterwards we went to the original Bien Mur, where my friend purchased a Zia symbol necklace to intrigue her London friends. I snagged a beautiful necklace and barrette. I highly recommend for a “staycation” or just a visit to eat and soak up the atmosphere. I may even come back to try the spa!

The tone was set the moment we arrived by Davia, the Front Office Manager. His check-in process was seamless, but more importantly, his warm energy made us feel like honored guests rather than just another reservation. He went above and beyond to ensure our room was perfect and that we felt welcomed right away. A massive thank you also goes to Tracy, our concierge. Tracy is a true miracle worker! She handled all the coordination for the birthday festivities with such precision and care. Whether it was the little details or the big surprises, Tracy ensured everything went off without a hitch. If you are looking for a place that combines luxury with a personal touch, this is it. We can’t wait to come back!
• nicholec786 (6/5): Nice resort, but... - Stayed there for a charity event that was held at the hotel. The rooms are nice, but quite overpriced. But for the location of the event, probably would have chosen to stay somewhere else. Despite the 80 degree temperatures, the pool was closed. Not sure why everything closed so early at a casino - the bar off the lobby closed at 9:15pm and the restaurants at 10pm. Would not recommend the appetizers at the restaurant - we were pretty sure the overpriced taquitos came from the freezer section at Costco, but we can definitely say they were not made on site. Overall our stay was fine, just not worth the expense.

He is excellent at his job. He greets you with a smile and is friendly and helpful. He shows confidence in his work and he knows the city. He is an excellent employee of Sandia hotel. I will stay at the hotel again because of him and his friendly altitude.
• AlanW610 (10/5): Treated like family - Sandia is the best casinos in the Albuquerque area. The rooms at the hotel are always very clean and plenty of room for my mobility scooter. It takes only minutes to check in compared to other casinos in the area. The best thing is the security getting to the rooms. Feel very safe. The rooms are a little high but if you get a player's card the discounts are great. I am 82 years old and they make me feel wanted. Great place.

• L9021SHjustinh (10/5): First time staying. Won’t be the last! - My wife and I stayed a night on our way to Colorado. We’ve been to many casinos but this one was the cleanest and had many slots to choose from. It was busy but not crowded. The rooms were spotless and the staff was very friendly. We even stayed another night on our way back from Colorado haha. Only knock is that the rooms are a little pricey.
• Paradise29074806896 (2/5): Poor service - Multiple poor experiences in the sports bar. Advertised watch party for Lobo Basketball game vs NMSU, however waiting in line for over an hour the manager sat us down and said it was for football contrary to their Facebook post say it was for basketball. Fast forward to 12/30 the server in the sports bar was inattentive to our table in general - simple items such as salt and pepper and a glass for a beer had to be requested. Server was not friendly and got a sense that she didn’t want to be there. My friends burger meat was under cooked and server agreed, however no attempt to adjust or reduce bill even after speaking to manager who happened to be same one from previous aforementioned poor experience. Sports bar was so bad we decided to watch lobo game downstairs in lounge which was just as bad if not worse. First of all the lounge staff didn’t know how to put game on big screen with sound. Secondly, they had 3 staff members that were in the lounge, however 2 supervisor types stood and watched while one bartender did all the serving of customers while the line was 7-10 people deep all evening.Why didn’t they employ servers to wait on customers in the lounge? Why did we have to wait in line at the bar to get drinks ? And why didn’t the other employees help at all? Extremely disappointed is an understatement of Sandia which is supposed to be the best casino/ lounge sports experience in Albuquerque. I have no plans to ever go back. FYI, the service at the golf course is equally as bad. Provided water in the heat of the summer isn’t priority after spending hundreds on a green fee or when junior golfers have a tournament at their course. Sad!

You don’t hear everybody walking on your head beside you water toilet flushing. This is the most amazing comfortable, elegant hotel I’ve ever stayed in ever in my life. I rank this number one anywhere.
• 266maggim (10/5): Superlative experience with "above & beyond" staff and facility at Sandia Resort & Casion!! - I coordinated a 50th Anniversary Celebration for 120 people in the Ballroom of the Sandia Resort & Casino and was truly fortunate to have worked with: Sales & Catering Manager: Liz Espinoza From the beginning of the planning (including a delicious and beautifully arranged menu tasting!) Liz was thorough, detail oriented, extremely knowledgeable about the property, accommodating and on time with every aspect. My husband and I were greeted at the Resort entrance by attentive staff who (unasked) helped us load our items onto carts and took them to the ballroom for us. They even let my husband keep his car nearby as he had other items to go pick up. Upon arrival at the ballroom, EVERYTHING was set exactly as we had requested so it was a breeze setting up our decorations and registration. All staff members were courteous, on time and very helpful - no one said something wasn't their job: each person helped with whatever was needed. I was blessed to have the following team members as our support staff for the registration, reception, dinner, dessert, program and dancing: Banquet Captain: Kym Shutiva - Everywhere at once the whole night, she made sure the room was beautiful, the equipment was in excellent condition and guests were comfortable and well served. Servers: Stacy, Martha, Cora, Casper, Felisia, Thack, and Gabby - went beyond merely serving and clearing the food but kept watchful eyes to see if we needed anything and delivered promptly! Bartenders: Veronica and Patricia - We kept them busy and they graciously served our guests as they used their free drink tickets, maintaining excellent service during the reception, dinner, champagne toasts and dessert. The facility is exceptional - beautiful, welcoming, stunning decor, easy to access, plus clean & well maintained furniture. I have to add that when I got home, I discovered I had left it at the Saturday night event and we immediately called security who said it had not been turned in. Just on a whim, I called again on Monday morning and one of the staff had found and turned it in!!!! It had been kept in a vault and there was more in the purse than I had remembered having in it - most importantly, it was my deceased mother's purse and meant the world to me. What an impressive result of an oversight on my part!! I am truly grateful for the incredible experience provided by the staff!!!

Drinks were hard to get. - It was a fun experience and a great place to stay during the Balloon Fiesta. Unfortunately the service at the Sportsbook and the Casino bar were less than desirable. The service at the Council Room was spectacular. I believe the gentlemen's name is David. He is 5 stars. The resort itself was very clean and the backdrop of the Sandia mountains were amazing.

We specifically want to give a shout out to Lumnie at Kiva Koffee (in the hotel). She is a phenomenal barista, and extremely hard working "glue person" who seems to keep the whole shop running seamlessly. Dedicated, fast, always has a smile and fabulous attitude. She made our mornings special everyday we woke up at the hotel and exemplifies superior customer service. Bravo Lumnie! We love you!!!

We were always greeted with a smile by all whose paths we crossed throughout our stay... Reception, Valet Service, Security, Wait Staff, Gift Shop and Gaming Staff were all willing to assist in any way they could. Being that this was a very busy time of year due to the Balloon Fiesta, we could not have been treated any better.

• 778ginaj (10/5): Coming home - What beautiful surroundings and staff. Mel created us with us warmth and friendliness! We came to spread my mom’s ashes and celebrate my nieces 13th birthday!! Mel was a God scent. Due to our situation, she upgrades our room and added a balcony room on the mountainside-her kind gesture added so much to our experience. The views of the breath- taking Sandia were simply stunning!! The morning of our ceremony, Brittany made sure to pack us up with plenty of water. Both of these ladies made us feel at home! My maternal great- great grandma was from the Sandia Pueblo and my mom wanted to return to her roots. Our experience from the moment we arrived to our departure was perfect!!! Every staff member we experienced were kind, gracious and always a smile in there eyes. Thank you Sandia for a beautiful homecoming !

• Escape52543435981 (10/5): Wedding ceremony and reception - We had our wedding at Sandia last month and it was a great experience! Our wedding coordinator through Sandia was Stephanie and she was so helpful during our wedding planning and the ceremony/reception. She was very easy to communicate with and she would respond to emails quickly. During a normally stressful time like a wedding, she definitely made it less stressful, and we are so thankful! Sandia also included some very cute final wedding touches for the (included) bridal suite like a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. The suite was also beautiful with an amazing view. Would highly recommend Sandia as a wedding venue with Stephanie as the coordinator!

A little dancing, food, live band, and of a few cocktails. We were escorted out because my friend’s dad was dancing and having a great time and they told him that he was way too excited / Happy. They thought he was drunk but he only had 2 drinks.. YOUR HOSPITALITY SUCKS AND YES THERE ARE OTHER PLACES TO HAVE A GREAT TIME….

I want to take a moment to share how pleased I was with our recent experience at Sandia Resort & Casino. From the start of planning through the close of our event, everything was handled with professionalism and care. Michelle, in particular, deserves special recognition. She was a true professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. She was on hand for every question I had, always responsive, and went above and beyond to ensure our meeting ran smoothly. What impressed me most was her flexibility. We had several different requirements, and Michelle worked with us seamlessly to accommodate each one without hesitation. Her calm, solutions-oriented approach gave me confidence at every step and allowed me to focus on the meeting itself. I would gladly recommend both Sandia Resort & Casino and Michelle to anyone considering holding an event here. The accommodations, service, and food were excellent, but it was the attentive, thoughtful support that really made the difference for us.

There were no complimentary alcoholic beverages, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were served in disposable plastic cups, which felt substandard. The room did not offer value for the rate charged, and overall, the property did not justify its cost. The layout included numerous entrances, making navigation confusing. The reception staff was not particularly welcoming, and the complimentary coffee provided was of poor quality. Additionally, there was a lack of proper dining options—most available food was limited to fast food.
• Sandra (6/5): - Room was superb...bed was comfortable. Food was limited due to "Concert" which i think is absurd. Ive been to many hotel/casino that holds concerts and food nor drinks were limited. Lounge was same way. And the staff was not rude but not friendly either. Very dry sense of humor if any humor.

• I253PUkrisb (10/5): Wonderful venue and professional staff - Our three-day conference in July went very well from the meeting space to the sleeping rooms, the food and the attention to detail. Sandia staff did an excellent job to ensure our group's needs were met and they were all professional, friendly and efficient. Sandia was definitely a favorite venue for our attendees and our staff and we hope to book another conference at Sandia in the future.

Love the casino, but venue 😔 - I definitely would think twice about ever booking another concert package with this resort, Prior to this, we absolutely loved Sandia Casino But when a concert is canceled due to weather, they really should be refunding people’s money or at least rescheduling the concert. We still have yet to hear from them. We’re hoping they do the right thing.

• dinam275 (10/5): Had an AMAZING day at the spa and pool. - We went to Sandia resort today to celebrate a friend‘s birthday. We started at the Green Reed spa, which was amazing! We had massages got into the sauna and steam room. Everything was very clean. The staff was very attentive and overall was a great experience We then went up to the pool area, where the concierge Tracy helped us with a cabana. Our cabana was full of snacks and drinks was clean. We had towels, cold water, cool towels in the refrigerator, the food and drinks were great. The service was amazing as well. We had such a nice day, we will definitely return to enjoy this experience again.

From the planning stage to the final day of our event, the staff was attentive, professional, and truly dedicated to making sure everything ran smoothly. Our Event Manager, Liz, was a pleasure to work with—responsive, organized, and proactive in anticipating our needs. She made the process seamless, which allowed us to focus fully on our meeting. The meeting space itself was well-appointed, comfortable, and perfectly suited to our group’s needs. The resort provided excellent food and beverage service, and our attendees commented on both the quality and the presentation. Every detail—from setup to hospitality—was handled with care. Overall, Sandia delivered a first-class experience, and I would not hesitate to return for future events. Highly recommend both the property and the team for corporate meetings or special gatherings.
• gls1224 (10/5): Memorable week stay - Once again Emily made sure our reservation was everything we wished for. Others would say "can't or won't". Emily made it so we had the spectacular mountain view we wanted. I so enjoy the sunrises from that particular room. I wish there was more I could do to say Thank you so much to Emily. The unseen and unknown housekeeping personnel also needs a special thanks for keeping our room clean and towels, etc. in bathroom.

• pbtolen (10/5): Sandia is our home away from home - Sandia Resort is our favorite place for a stay-cation in the state. We come down from Santa Fe several times a year because the rooms are large and well appointed, the pool is always a blast and every meal that we have eaten always satisfies. The GM Adrian Montoya is the most gracious host and always makes us feel at home. Sandia is our home away from home.
