- Matea (5/5): ok for 1-2 nights. not the nicest… - good location. There is a common room (living room) which is open only until midnight. I had a very very important call for work after midnight - in European time. Staff came and asked me to go outside to take a call - outside of the hostel - on the street! It was raining and a bit cold and dark. I wasn’t using any utilities in the kitched or in the living room so I wasn’t making it dirty after they cleaned it. I was very quiet. The guy from staff interupted me during an important call and was very rude. I couldn’t believe what he was asking me… also, beds were old and squeky. If you move a milimeter, bed is making weird sounds… I think it is too expensive for that kind of an accomodation.

- Tomas (9/5): Enjoyable stay in a nice clean hostel for solo traveller - Good friendly hostel in a good location near plenty of cafes and restaurants, a short walk from a couple of beaches. The hills round here are pretty intense so be prepared! Bed curtains for privacy with charging porta and both a locker and drawer for each guest. Staff were friendly and attentive. Activities available for getting to meet people. Staff were on hand via whatsapp for anything you need Gym was minimal which is understandable but some of the equipment was broken. Room was perhaps on the small side for 4 people.

- Ella (2/5): severe lack of cleanliness, stain on sheets, heaps of dust - Nice outdoor area with fairy lights. really noisy but I guess to be expected in a hostel. The horrible part was a big stain on my sheets but no one at reception to get new ones so had to lie on top of the provided blanket. I have stayed in about 15 hostels in my time for the same price range and none have been so dirty. A thick layer of dust on everything genuinely about 4 mm thick, especially the top of my bunk, genuinely unbelievable and I know everyone brings there own towels and toiletries but a communal wall pump soap or something would have been appreciated. Like at least provide soap or hand sanitiser given how dirty it is. All common areas close at 10.30 which is a bit of a shame, can't get out of cramped room and have a cup of tea after that etc. Also big gross stain on couch so it was pretty unpleasant to even sit out there to try and get away from the disgusting room.

- Guerra (10/5): Amazing stay - I had a wonderful experience at this hostel! The location is absolutely perfect, making it so easy to get around. The common areas are very spacious and comfortable, which is great for relaxing or meeting people. A special shout-out to Betina at the reception—she was incredibly friendly and welcoming! The overall infrastructure and the support provided with various assistances were top-notch. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay.

If you’re looking for a quieter neighbourhood close to the beach, with good bus connections, this hostel is a great option. There’s a direct bus to the airport and an easy connection to the city centre. I stayed in a women’s room next to the kitchen, so you could sometimes hear people and the pipes when water was being used. It wasn’t too bad for me, but if you’re sensitive to noise, it might bother you. Also, the bed curtains have metal rings that make noise when you move them—just a small detail, but it could matter to some people.

There are also a range of restaurants in the vicinity and the famous Coogee Beach is 10 minutes away by uber. Nothing could have been better!

I just wish I had stayed longer! - This was a fantastic stay, lovely rooms, great vibes - the hostel had plenty of ideas to make the most of Coogee Beach and Sydney. I loved everything about it, especially the people I met. The bus stop was also right outside the hostel which made it very easy to get into the city. Nothing, it was an awesome place to stay and great value for money.

Dafü - Es ist ein süßes Hostel, sieht hübsch aus, schöne dachterasse Keine Möglichkeit das Bett zu tauschen oder Zimmer zu wechseln bei erster Nachfrage, hatte einen kaputten Fuß und konnte die Treppe nicht hoch. Erst beim Check out früher als geplant hätte es doch eine Möglichkeit gegeben ..Ich glaube ich hatte einfach sehr Pech bei meinem Besuch

- Katie (9/5): Excellent Stay in this Beautiful Hotel - Beautiful room with everything I needed including tea and coffee making facilities, a comfortable bed, a modern bathroom, air conditioning, and a mini fridge. Quiet at night. Well equipped guest kitchen if you want to cook. It's really in Clovelly, not Coogee, and it's a steep 10 minute walk uphill to reach it from Coogee Beach.

- Vernon (8/5): Second visit - It's close to the coastal walkway, close to the beach, and close to where family live. The kitchen facilities are excellent and there was no need to eat out of you didn't want to. The room is a bit cramped and there's a half step up into the bathroom. You have to be careful but for a comfortable quiet bed near central Sydney it's great.

- Marie-Fleur (6/5): Es war ok, ich würde es aber nicht wieder buchen. Man sollte die Küche spätestens um 5am öffnen. - Die Betten haben Vorhänge, dies finde ich sehr gut. Die Lage hat mir gut gefallen, ich habe jeden Morgen den Coastal Walk nach Bondi Beach gemacht. Jeder Gast erhält 2 Locker. Sie schließen die Küche nachts ab, was ich absolut schwachsinnig finde, da gerade dieser Teil von Sydney dafür bekannt ist, dass die Leute zum Sonnenaufgang aufstehen und Sport machen und ich hätte gerne Frühstück gemacht bevor ich morgens los bin. Da die Küche aber erst um 7am aufgeschlossen wird ist dies nicht möglich. Entweder sollte man sie offen lassen oder spätestens um 5am aufschließen. Es gibt keine Waschräume auf den Fluren sondern ein Ensuite-Bad für 8 Personen, wenn dann eine Person duschen geht, kann niemand auf Toilette. Ersatztoiletten gibt es beim Parkplatz, wo man aus dem 3. Stock aber natürlich nicht jedes Mal hinläuft. Das Zimmer wird viel zu selten gründlich sauber gemacht und leer geräumt. Täglich hinterlassen Reisende Dinge, wenn sie auschecken und dafür gibt es keinen designierten Spot, sodass überall Sachen rumliegen, die niemandem gehören, dadurch ist das Zimmer immer unordentlich und chaotisch. Das Toilettenpapier wird zu selten aufgefülllt.

- Hannah (8/5): Clean and a nice stay - (Depending on roommates) Clean, comfortable and has good facilities Some of the people (who seem to live there or have long term stays) were really unpleasant. We had to move rooms as the two people we were sharing with were so dirty and had no respect for the rooms or other guests. Luckily the staff were so nice and helpful and got us moved to another room. Feel like there could’ve been stricter rules for people like that in the rooms and common areas too. Other than that everything was really great for a hostel

- MARIA (8/5): Lovely hostel - Enjoyed the location as very close to the beach and also by a bus station so easy to get there from the airport and then to town. Was clean overall and decent storage spaces. There was aircon and beds are comfortable No information was provided regarding hostel orientation/areas/events. I booked the evening pizza but was waiting in the wrong terrace. Room was a bit small.

- Sarah (9/5): Awesome hostel, only a short walk from Coogee Beach. - I stayed in a four bed dorm with an en suite bathroom recently - the room was clean & spacious with four individual storage cages under the beds as well as coat/towel hooks on each bed. Location is great, only a short walk to Coogee Beach - also possible to get a bus to/from the beach. Staff were super friendly & helpful. Overall, a great stay!

- Annina (8/5): Very good value for money - The staff were really nice and helpful, the beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The kitchen was a bit messy and the plates and cutlery were not properly cleaned.

Kitchens were clean and spacious. Rooms had all basic but necessary amenities. The wardrobe needed a bit more cleaning and the hot water ran out quite fast

- Conrado (10/5): - I had an excellent stay. Betina and Rami (both red-haired) were highly professional, organized, and genuinely friendly throughout. I especially appreciated their help communicating in Spanish, which made everything much easier. They also demonstrated strong knowledge of the city and its attractions, offering clear and useful recommendations. Their support made the entire experience smooth from check-in to departure. Highly recommended.

- Leila (10/5): Fabulous place to stay for Clovelly and Coogee - Absolutely love this place. Really nicely designed, super clean, very quiet so you get a great nights sleep. We checked in out of hours and it was super easy to get our keys. Staff were awesome as well. Some really awesome coffee shops nearby. I wouldn’t say it’s anything to dislike about the place but you are a little bit away from Coogee, an easy walk downhill to the beach but definitely recommend getting a bus back!

- Tess (10/5): Loved my stay here! - I absolutely loved this place! Its has a few terraces and two shared kitchens/dining rooms which made it easy to meet new people. I was welcomed by Rami who was so nice and helpful! Location was great for me as well as it's close to Coogee and Clovelly Beach, so you can easily start your Coogee-Bondi walk. There's buses in front of the hotel, so you can get to the city or airport easily.

- Rossina (10/5): - It was my first time in Sydney, and this hostel was perfect for that. I was able to move around easily thanks to its amazing location in Coogee. The 3rd floor has a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely terrace. On the first floor, I really loved the living rooms and the activities that were organized every day. A special thanks to Rami and Betina from the staff team, who helped me during my stay and always welcomed you with a great smile. I totally recommend this place for meeting people and having a great time in Sydney.
- Grace (10/5): Lovely place to stay and short walk away to the beach - Always such a good vibe, lovely bright clean place to stay close to the beaches and the staff are always so friendly & accomodating. Big shout out to Bettina. One of the friendliest helpful hotel staff I’ve ever met.
