- Sphumelele (10/5): Great ladies who hosted us we were so happy - the room was clean and neat the managers on duty very friendly and helpful when needing things like iron they were available they gave us extra backdoor keys for when we need to go out at night the cleaning lady was asked to give us extra towels she said ok and vanished never came back with extra towels. the other guests were very noisy running around in the passages for a good hour we tried the landline could reach it we wanted to complain but the manager apologised in the morning.

Thank you. The staff were friendly and and the room was always very clean and towels were replaced everday. I also borrowed a book to read from the small library collection. There was evidence by way of ash and ends caught in the rail of the sliding doors of the bedroom leading out to the pool, that someone had smoked in the room which was unfortunate.

The staff were quite unfriendly and even frustrated at our late check-in. Despite, apologizing that we were attending a wedding that started and ended quite late. Guests book for different reasons and for some events, they do not have control over. Making guests feel unwelcome upon checking in, isn’t acceptable.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Jenny who even helped set up pick up from the airport. Laundry was available which was very convenient. It was really cold at night and would have loved a warmer.

No ventilation fans in the bathroom. Room 2 bathroom basin thoughtlessly placed on a structure making it difficult to get close to the basin. Room 4 shower head at shoulder height. The house is closed off at 19h00 confining guests to their rooms. Generally feels like they want to cut costs at every turn.

The managers went out of their way to accommodate us, and over the stay made our not so pleasant reason to be in Hillcrest a very pleasant stay.
