• benedicte (9/5): Deux nuits afin de randonner dans le Bukhansan tout proche. - Belle maison dans quartier résidentiel calme. Chambres spacieuses (en fait une chambre pour deux et une autre pour une personne ),cuisine commune bien agencée,très lumineux avec vue sur le jardin. Propriétaire charmant qui donne tous les renseignements nécessaires. Prenez un masque pour dormir avec restons très sympa au bord de la rivière.

• IMAI (10/5): 最高 - 口コミ通り素敵なオーナーご夫妻のお陰で、とにかく最高な５日間を過ごさせていただきました。 初日、K-rideで呼んだタクシーにお願いしたら、宿まで辿り着けず、夜中に坂の上で降ろされて迷ってしまいましたが、booling.comのメッセージで連絡したら、オーナーがすぐに見つけてくださり、助かりました。友人3人でファミリールームを使わせて頂きましたが、とても清潔で、特にベッドの寝心地が最高です。旅行に来てこんなに熟睡したことはないくらいゆっくり休ませて頂きました。 なし シャワーを浴びると、少々トイレの方まで濡れてしまいますが、翌朝には乾きます。

• Mariapillai (10/5): A home away from home. - Very clean, quite location. Has all you need including washing machine. 10 mins walking distance to the subway station. Host is very friendly. He offered to pick us up from the station.There are not many restaurants for vegetarians. It is on a steep slope. People who are not used to walking can take a taxi. Would be nice to have some tea bags and coffee for guests.

The room was nice, the bed was very comfortable and the coffee to my liking. I enjoyed the Korean hospitality and recommend this as an authentic experience for everyone. Thank you so much!

• Helena (10/5): Perfect stay! - From the very first moment, we loved our stay at Puzzlehouse. We stayed for one week and in the end did not want to leave. The cosiness & cleanliness of the Place, wonderful amenities (fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, drinking water) and breakfast as well as the great host made us feel at home. The Location is within walking distance to public transportation and we liked that it was set a little more in a quiet and traditional neighbourhood, right in between Seoul City and Bukhasan Nationalpark. It was absolutely Great! But just a little idea: Since it is very difficult to communicate in English in Korea, it would be a great help if the accommodation could offer a little guideline on how to use the subway starting from this area, because it is a little off the beaten track (how to to get tickets or the tmoney card…)

• QIANG (10/5): 非常好 - 最近太忙了，一直想着给老板好评。一切都很好，对顾客感同身受，充满人情味。一定要在他们家吃早餐非常有性价比。床垫也很舒服，想问老板在哪里买的床垫。老板人非常好，回国一个多月了，为了让我们能够赶上公交车，我至今都记者他帮我提着箱子奔跑的样子。最后祝生意兴隆，身体健康。 如果非要说个不足的话可以增加个导览提示，酒店混在普通住房里不太好发现

• Eunji (10/5): - Wir, eine dreiköpfige Familie, haben hier drei Tage verbracht und es war sehr angenehm und komfortabel. Das Zimmer war viel geräumiger als ein Hotelzimmer, und das Frühstück war köstlich, mit täglich wechselndem Menü. In Jeongneung fließt ein wunderschöner Bach, und wenn man ihm folgt, erreicht man den Berg. Ich habe auf dem Markt von Jeongneung Gamjatang (scharfes Fleischsuppe mit Knochen) gegessen, und es war köstlich.

• Schumy78 (10/5): Meraviglioso - La casa è molto bella,accogliente,tranquilla e pulita. Il proprietario è una persona squisita e disponibile per tutto, è persino venuto a prenderci (e ci ha anche riportato) con la sua auto alla fermata del bus diretto 6102 dall'aeroporto. La  nostra camera familiare era grande e molto confortevole,cosi come il bagno con una grande doccia,wc e lavabo separati. Il materasso era incredibilmente comodo e la stanza molto silenziosa,abbiamo dormito benissimo. Dalla camera singola poi si poteva addirittura vedere il sole sorgere all'alba. Le colazioni erano per lo più salate,ma molto buone,con sapori vicini a quelli a cui siamo abituati in Italia. Molto bella anche la sala comune ed il giardino. È stato un soggiorno davvero meraviglioso. Nulla,ma se si ha poco tempo è giusto considerare che la casa si trova a non meno di 40 minuti di bus o metro da qualsiasi attrazione di Seul. Noi siamo stati 4 notti e la posizione defilata non è stata assolutamente un problema.

• Anna (10/5): Превосходный гостеприимный дом - Прекрасные гостеприимные хозяева. Дом соответствует всем фото, следят за домом, за чистотой, за комфортом. Мы жили в двух комнатах, которая имела одну на двоих ванную комнату, комнаты были отделены коридором от общей столовой зоны (то есть как двухкомнатная квартира). Кровать одна была большая, одна поменьше. Хороший матрас, теплые одеяла, по 2 пары полотенец. Раковина отдельно от душевой с туалетом. Мы взяли дополнительно завтраки, и хозяйка любезно готовила нам потрясающий завтрак и вкусный кофе. Проблем ни с чем не было. На кухне есть холодильник, чайник, все столовые приборы, микроволновка, стиральная машина. Очень удобное расположение дома - 5-7 минут до станции метро, 2-3 мин до автобусной остановки, рядом есть маркет со стритфудом традиционной корейской еды, круглосуточные магазины CU, 15 мин от Olive young и Daiso. В общем, все рядом есть. Тихий спокойный безопасный район. До центра доезжали за 30 мин. Добираться было не проблематично. Хозяин все расскажет и подскажет. Очень рекомендую это место проживания.

A small local market, many shops and nice restaurants and cafés in the area. Best of all was the host Paul who gave us lots of helpful information and even picked us up at the airport bus stop. Thank you Paul, we really hope we can stay here the next time we are in Seoul.

• Maria karla mae (10/5): Best! - At first I was a little hesitant to book the place since some comments indicated that it was far from the city center. Honestly, I do not consider it far - traveling back and forth are doable and short from the center even if you are coming from Myeongdong. The place is in a neighbourhood where you can experience local living, also quiet and serene - a perfect break from the bustling city. The house is very nice - spotless clean! Paul and his wife were so nice and polite. He even insisted to drop us at the train station. The breakfasts were healthy, clean and very nice. Simple yet sumptuous - I recommend you avail this during your stay. Will definitely book the place again when I come back. Thank you, Puzzlestay! NONE.
• James (10/5): Peaceful and relaxing, easy to feel at home! - After almost 2 weeks in the heart of Seoul, we loved staying at this wonderful, homely and peaceful accommodation. Our host was incredibly welcoming and made us feel that we could relax just like we would in our own home. The location was incredible for seeing a more calm and nature focused side of Seoul.
• Sze Yan Chris (10/5): Perfect stay - This is not a hotel, but at Puzzlestay, you have more a hotel could offer. Paul, the host of this beautiful house, is very helpful and accommodating. One of our group caught a fever, we was rushing back and texted Paul if he has a thermometer. When we arrived, Paul was popping up at the door giving us the thermometer. That was a rainy night and we couldn't go out again. Paul made sure that our take-out was arranged so that we did not starve. There's a shared living room with a kitchen and a laundry machine. I was worried our clothes stayed wet after laundry (because it was very humid in Seoul that week) and texted Paul. He showed up at my door with his dehumidifier ! We are so thankful to Paul and his wife - we have such a great stay. Nothing. The location is not at the center of Seoul but we like the neighborhood so much and we really get a feel of how local people are living. It's 30 minutes by bus to the city center Geongpokgung. Anywhere across the Hanggan river is a bit far but it's only 20 minutes if you just grab a taxi (at around 16,000 -20,000 won). There's a big convenience store in two minutes.
• JULIE (10/5): Excellent stay - good pick for solo women travellers - Paul and his wife made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Paul even dropped me off at the closest subway station and mailed me something I had left behind (my bad!). The room and bathroom were very clean. It is in a residential area and slightly quieter (a plus for me)- but walking distance to the subway. The breakfast was so good. Nothing to report

• Aya (9/5): Beautiful house in a quiet local neighbourhood and wonderful hosts ! - I have stayed in various accomodations during my solo travel over the years, but this has got to be one of the very best! Paul and Jinni were amazing hosts, the room I stayed in, bathroom and common areas were spotless and the breakfast was amazing (they went out of their way to prepare traditional Korean breakfast when I told them I loved Korean food!) The neighbourhood was pretty quiet but there was a cool traditional market area within walking distance which wasn't touristy at all, so it was great to get to see how locals went about with their day! There's also a convenience store nearby, as well as restaurants and cafes. There was also a river nearby that had a pathway where you could walk along, that was especially lovely in the evening :) Location-wise, it's a bit far away from the centre but not too far, and there are plenty of transportation options like the metro and bus! I personally don't like busy areas and prefer to experience the local life rather than jumping into areas teeming with swarms of tourists but since it was my first time in Korea I still wanted to see a bit of the touristy stuff, so this accomodation was actually perfect for me. It was rainy both on the day I arrived and left and Paul kindly picked me up/dropped me off at the stations. The hosts are truly a lovely couple who are quite down to earth and helpful, I felt right at home and really enjoyed my stay thanks to them! It takes a bit of time to get to certain tourist locations, but if you plan your day properly it shouldn't be an issue! There's also a steep slope up to the accomodation, but it's not a huge problem (I just found it a bit challenging when going back after a long day out, but I think it was good extra excercise!)

As someone who only feels at home in her own home, I really felt at home and at ease here. I was always excited to go back to the lodging at the end of the day knowing that a comfy bed and hot shower was waiting for me. Paul and his wife were such lovely hosts. It was my friend’s birthday and they helped me surprise her! Really grateful for that. I was also able to get their free pick-up service, which was very convenient. The accommodation is just a 5-min drive away from a non-stop Incheon airport bus station. The location is quite far from the city if you plan to do all the touristy stuff. But I liked the fact that I felt like a local exploring non-touristy places in the area.

• Lloyd (10/5): Lovely home stay in clean, modern house with friendly hosts - We had a lovely stay at Puzzlestay House. Paul and Jinni were excellent hosts and had a beautiful, modern house in a quiet area of Seoul. Guests share a spotlessly clean kitchen/dining area with fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. Bedrooms were large and well furnished. Puzzlestay House is only 10 mins walk from the metro and 30 mins from the central area by bus or metro. We had a delicious breakfast every day. Paul offered to pick us up from the metro and dropped us off when we left. Will definitely stay again!

The accommodation was very clean, comfortable, and fully equipped. From the moment we arrived, the hosts gave us a warm welcome and took the time to show us around the neighborhood — pointing out key places like restaurants, the train station, and nearby bus stops. Paul and his wife were extremely kind and attentive, always ready to help. We also had the chance to enjoy the homemade breakfast they prepared with care — it was absolutely delicious, and we highly recommend trying it! The shared living space was very well equipped with everything you might need: a fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave, filtered water machine, coffee maker, and even a washing machine, which I really appreciated during our stay. The location is also excellent: just 30 minutes by metro from the main historical sites, and there are direct buses at the end of the street that take you to Bukchon Village and Changgyeonggung Palace. The bed was very comfortable, and the area is calm and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay so much that we actually came back for a second time! A big thank you to Paul and his wife at Puzzelstay for the amazing hospitality! Highly recommend this place!
• Ines (10/5): Perfect stay in local neighbourhood - Perfect guesthouse where you really feel at home. Everything very clean, well decorated, super comfortable. The hosts are just great and so very kind, even picking you up at the bus stop from the airport . The location is a non-touristy, real local neighbourhood, bus and metro stations just 5/10mn away.
• Nur (10/5): Excellent with accomodating hosts - Super comfortable beds and paul is very accomodating! Love that theres a laundry machine so I was able to do my laundry as well. Very well connected area and there is a direct bus to myeongdong and bukchon. The house is on a hill and right down the hill is a CU mart. Very convenient if you need to buy/top up your tmoney. Everything is also very clean and comfortable. It is pretty far and if you're going to do a lot of shopping in myeongdong/seongsu/hongdae be ready to bring your bags on public transport. Other than that it was great all around.

The Korean breakfast was delicious and lovingly prepared. The accommodation was very quiet, tastefully furnished, and of high quality. There was no TV in the room... but we didn't miss it. We found the location perfect: quiet, yet still 25-30 minutes from the city center. We would definitely book the Puzzle Stay House again.

He helps us to carry all our luggages and ensure a taxi was called and communicate to our destination include luggage upload to ensure . On our first day of arrival at 10pm temperature at 5-8c he accompanied us to walk on street to introduce us the surrounding shops/ restaurant and transport venue. Touching service by Paul. The place is cosy , warm and clean . The shared kitchen is clean and fully equipped . At cold temperature u wake up morning warmth and soothing . A nice garden , market and good food introduce by Paul .

• Gillian (10/5): Lovely to stay with a little mountain fresh air - The owner went out of his way to be helpful There was no facility at the railway station or part of town to access my wow pass so I had to travel to Seoul station to get money
• Sandra (10/5): Really excellent. Nice place to stay - The room we had was very comfortable, c l wan and quiet. Our host Paul was helpful and qlwats willing to assist us. He picked us up from the metro station and drove us to the airport bus stop when we left. Breakfast was very enjoyable. The neighbourhood is quiet and close to public transport. We highly recommend staying there.
• Anastasiia (10/5): Cozy, calm, amazing first stay experience in Korea 🤍 - Cozy and clean place for a long stay. Nice attention to detail. Relaxed view of the garden. A nice and quiet area with villas, near the river and the national park. It is very convenient to get to the center by bus or metro. Definitely worth the subway trip to be further out of the city centre, for a restful night's sleep and nearer the fresh mountain air. Spotlessly clean throughout.

• Vickie (10/5): Exceptional - I absolutely love the homemade breakfast made by Paul and his wife every morning. Paul was kind enough to pick me up from the airport bus station late at night and offered me to leave the luggage after check out (I didn't notify him in advance). The neighborhood is fantastic the the Bukhansan is just 20 minutes walk away from the guesthouse. Nothing!

My wife and I spent 7 nights here, and thought that this stay was perfect -The accomodation had everything we needed, plus it was very comfortable and clean - The breakfasts were always different and delicious (we still miss eating those foods) - Paul and his wife were kind, helpful, and gave us several useful tips We wholeheartedly recommend it!

• Sophie (9/5): Superb - It is a lovely guesthouse close to the Bukhansan Nationalpark. The owner was incredibly friendly and we got a delicious handmade breakfast. Everything is clean and comfortable, we had a wonderful stay - Thank you Paul :) The only downside was the AC in our room, it was quite loud but we needed to keep it running because of the heatwave at the time of our stay.

• Syl1602 (10/5): One of the best stays ever. - We loved this place. Best place to stay off you visit Seoul. We felt so welcome and nothing is to much for the owner. The first night he walked with us to show which restaurants were open late. Every morning he served a wonderful breakfast. I am gluten intolerant so the bought special bread and cakes for me. When we left je carried my back all the way to the bus station. The bus and metro to go into the city are both nearby.

• Iman (10/5): Great place, best hosts ever! - Everything was way above my expectations even though by reading previous comments i had already high expectations!. Paul is great and together with his wife they are very kind, nice and welcoming hosts. I could have not thought of one thing which was missing and hypothetically if there would have been something Paul (or his wife) would take care of it immediately. From the moment of arrival, when Paul picked me up by his car from nearby bus station to the moment that i left and both of them waved me farewell, all was at best!. The vale for money was excellent (I tried one or two other more expensive places in korea but definitely many many in Europe, possibly this was the best in that regard). Location was also excellent, I felt pity though that I didn’t manage to visit nearby mountain and National park(next time!). And not to forget, lovely homemade breakfasts (even the breads and yoghurts were home made). Absolutely nothing! But I have one suggestion, to have it written in the room (I know everyone knows it but good to repeat…) for being environmentally conscious, please consider reusing towels and leave the air conditioning off whenever not necessary…
• Juni (10/5): My Go To House If I Come To Seoul - I like everything. The house, the owner, the location, the breakfast, the room. The best part the WC come with bidet. Really thankful for that. The owner willingly to pick u up and drop u off to the nearest train station but let him know prior so he can prepare that for you. Love everything. The neighbourhood was quite and peaceful and if u got time u can go hiking at the nearby mountain like seriously close with the house. Nothing. I love everything
• Anna (10/5): Lovely accommodation - Everything was absolutely amazing. Paul and his wife are very attentive and a pleasure to stay with. They took care of all our needs. I highly recommend to use the provided pick-up car from the subway station. It's an easy walk without luggage but with all your stuff it's a bit exhausting 😅 Breakfasts were absolutely lovely 😍 homemade bread and yoghurt were delicious. Everything was amazing.

• Maria (10/5): Excelent place! - Paul and his wife are amazing hosts! Their house is new and modern, extremely clean and the room has everything what you might need. The house is located close to metro station and to the bus station, but the taxis are very affordable you can also reach city center for 10-12 euros. -

At first we thought that this guest house was a bit far from the main sightseeing points of the city, but with the metrostation close by that was not really any issue. • H2damfk (8/5): You will simply not find better hosts! - Lovely house stay near the mountain. Very comfy and the hosts were absolute diamonds. The homemade breakfast and coffee was sooooo wonderful. Couldnt ask for nicer people. The neighborhood was great too. The room I booked did have a private bathroom but it was not inside the bedroom. I had to leave my room and go down a short hall to use it. The other rooms have ensuite bathrooms. This bothered me a little because I'm not a morning person...it takes me a long time to reach social capacity lol, and I do not want to talk to anyone in the morning. Fortunately, I didn't run into any guests either morning, ha! This might not bother you...but if it something that concerns you, double check with the host that the room you are booking has ensuite bathroom or the one in the hall.
