Guest Reviews
- Nitsan_D (10/5): A Lovely "Homey" Place - The hotel is in a quiet area of Tbilisi, one minute walk from the river. In the area it's easy to find several stores and pharmacies.
The building itself is relatively small (that's why it's called a "boutique" hotel). It's not new, but rather clean and cute. The rooms are medium size, the elevator stops *between* the room levels, which forces you to climb (up or down) a few stairs, and the walls are a bit thin, which transfers sounds between adjacent rooms. The shower is nice - sometimes you need to be a bit patient for the hot water to arrive.
The service is extremely good and makes you feel wanted. Breakfast (quite good, yet vegetarian only) is served to your table on the ground floor. Altogether a good experience and a place to return to.
- 440ah440 (10/5): Lovely boutique hotel - Very nice boutique hotel near the heart of Tbilisi. The hotel is small but offers all the amenities of a large hotel. It also serves as a good base for trips around Tbilisi. The breakfast served at the yard is fresh and delicious with all Georgian freshest.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Not recommended. Could not pay in advance with a credit card so had to venture out after a long day of travel to get cash. In room safe did not work. No hot water. Uncomfortable bed.
Personale gentile e disponibile, camera comoda e spaziosa, in centro a Tbilisi.
- LarsErikH (10/5): My first visit to Tibilisi - Very nice hotel- not luxurious - but clean and nice. Exeptionally friendly staff. I will definately stay there also next time.
I was treated like a personal guest - not like customer. Great breakfast.
- Anders Mattias (10/5): It was a great place - Road was closed so had to find suddenly a hotel in Tb. Found this and could not have been better. Nice building and good services, good massage lady.
- ariel_kappon (8/5): Very good - Very nice hotel.
Location 10 min from the city main road.
Good breakfast.
Nice balcony at first floor for coffee or light meals.
Staff very friendly and helpfull.
Clean and nice rooms.
Good value for money.
- Martina (10/5): - Very good all round. Only criticism was that my 4am wake-up call never arrived so best not depend on it!
- 325davida (2/5): stay away - the hotel was under construction. workers making noise also during evening and night. at midnight I called reception that did not apologise but said they will stop. near 1 am I called again and the answer: it is the last piece of metal that makes noise.
the elevator stops between floors so you have to climbe half a floor with your suitcase.
we rented a jeep. received it with no petrol, the yellow light lit. and had to start our holiday searching for a gas station. the next day the wheel almost came off as the screws holding it were loose. if this would have happened in the mountains I would not be here to write a review. the jeep was very old.
- DiklaChatzav (10/5): Good hotel in exalent location - We had great time visiting Tbilisi and Georgia in general, staying at the Coral Boutique Hotel. We got lovely room (we have few minor remarks about the shower) and enjoyed the hospitality of the staff very much.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The room we were offered on ground floor is dark and dismal with no windows and noisy when guests are in reception areA.
- Pipsa (8/5): - Mukava hotelli rauhallisella sijainnilla.
- AmirFDM (8/5): Enjoyable stay. - Small hotel with about 30 rooms.
The service is very kind.
Rooms are large and spacious with air conditioning and safety deposit box.
The bathroom is renovated but small and dense. Rooms are very clean.
Breakfast is served to the table and includes vegetables, cheese and traditional Georgian dishes.
- Suzzzzzzzzz (10/5): Great location, cosy hotel - Great location , close to shops, train station, river.
Comfortable and clean room
Very good breakfast
Good selection of food and drinks.
Plenty of hot water.
Very kind staff.
Very very good heating.
Will return!!!!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The hotel is really cozy and friendly
The stuff is nice
We enjoyed there, there was comfortable
- ThomasByrne79 (10/5): Really good service and great hotel to stay in Tbilisi - We stayed in the hotel for a total of 3 nights with two seperate reservations, whilst on our honeymoon. Reception were great and organised an amenity for first stay, including two spa treatments, bottle of Georgian wine and some fruit.
We had a two night stay and left for Kazbegi for one night and then returned for one more night during our time in Tbilisi.
First two nights we found the Hotel to be well located to find local transport (metro) to places and walking distance to a range of restaurants and Georgian architecture. Breakfast in the morning is served from 08:00 to 12:00 and has a multitude of cheeses, meats, bread, eggs, cereal, bread.
Front desk were happy to keep our larger luggage for our return after we departed to Kazbegi. Upon return the following day we were surprised by an arrangement of balloons and another amenity. Awesome!!
Since we were not able to use Spa vouchers during first stay (busy touring, drinking wine, eating food), we were able to relax with a treatment upon return. Both the Spa therapists were awesome.
Rooms are comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast is true Georgian style.
As a small gesture of appreciation we gave the staff some Tim Tams and Japanese savoury snacks.
If in Tbilisi again I’ll be staying here.
Sorry I don’t have photos, my wife took them all on her camera.
- Gordon (8/5): - Nice clean and comfortable
- MadonnaB50 (4/5): Disapoonting - We visited the place for a short family vacation. The hotel is small, located far from the center (so you'll have to spend money on taxi all the time) and not so comfortable. Breakfast is dull with old granola and some sour cream, selection of eggs very poor and the cheese dry and unappealing. Rooms smelly with old and broken furniture, broken tiles in the bathroom floor and the door locks only after sever attempts. Room service prices terrible. On top of everything the road was being dug while we were there which added to the discomfort. Overall, do not recommend it at all. Better take the money and invest it otherwise. Big disapoontment.
- Ekaterina1002 (10/5): Very good hotel - The hotel is very clean with very warm athmosphera
Five minutes walk from one of the main streets of Tbilissi
, Women working in the restauraunt made feeling of home
they prepared different dishes, accordingly to our requests
- Marian (8/5): It is OK for short stay - overall stay was ok. The location and comfort are on average. However, I've got a basket of fresh fruits, after a slow check-in experience. That was nice. Appreciated.
Definitely not a 4-star hotel as you expect to have in Europe. Unfortunately, I got the experience of people who scarcely knew English. Wi-FI was ok, but with continuous disruptions of the connectivity.
For short stay it will do the job.
- Kiran (10/5): A nice hotel with pleasant and helpful staff - This is a nice boutique hotel a short drive from the old city. Taxi to the old city costs about 5 GEL (Georgian Lari) or about $2. The exterior of the hotel is pretty unique, and the building has curb appeal. The staff is sociable and helpful. Nia and Lika helped us with arranging a private driver for tours and restaurant recommendations. Rooms are nicely appointed. Their breakfast is sumptuous and the best I have had at a hotel so far. The omelettes and kachapuris are delicious.
I highly recommend the hotel.
- robjo35 (8/5): Good Hotel - The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant served a great breakfast in the morning. It was located a bit off the toursit trail, but was in a nice, quiet location. We would certainly stay there again the next time we are in Tbilisi.
- Mir (10/5): Couldn't be happier - The Hotel and all the staff staff were great. In particular Lika proved exceptional knowledgeable and helpful. Her advice on local attractions made what would have otherwise been an ok sort of a visit to Georgia into a great adventure. Thank you Lika, you were a gem!
- milad1360 (2/5): "Just location" -
"Just location"
We have been staying in this hotel from march 31st to april 5th. The location was good, close to Marjanishvili street which is a vivid one. But unfortunately, no other good point about it! A very small hotel; a simple apartment without any special facility or equipment to call it a real hotel. They even did not provide us a buffet breakfast with a good menu which surprised us in the very begining. The room was really small but it had a balcony which of course was the good point about it. The Bathroom size was good but the telephone shower was broken!
And Worst of all was the very bad attitude the staff had toward us at the last day of our staying there! They said we should change our room bcz it's been already reserved, while we had booked for 5 nights from the begining. So it took us 3 hours to move to another room. and finally the gave us an attic with a really short ceiling without a balcony. when we complained about it, they said: "u had booked for standard room while u've been staying at our luxerious room the first 4 days" Obvious that they were lying! bcz even the first room was too small without even one chair in it. And what made us sad the most was their behaviour! Not only didn't they try to mollify us, but they also treated us in a very impolite manner!
I upload photo of the Room we had, so that ppl who want to choose this place know how the standard(!) Room lookes like here.
- Thomas (8/5): Nice place in interesting neighborhood - Nice place, decent breakfast. For Georgian Standards on the ok to lower side. But nothing to complain about.
- 449davidb449 (6/5): nice hotel - we stayed for 3 nights, its a little walk from train station, small road but nice and friendly staff very good breakfast with georgian food, rooms also not bad, half floor to climb from elevators , toilets had some sewage smell
- 127salmanm (8/5): Good and a small cozy room. But no view what so ever. - The room was good, clean and very comfortable. Since i had informed them that I was there for my first wedding anniversary, they even arranged a bottle of wine, chocolates and a nice anniversary message. Both the receptionists were nice and very welcoming and helped us with all that we required. However since i had taken a balcony room, i expected the view outside the balcony to be good. But this was not the case. All in all a very good stay.
- vladalando (10/5): Amazing place - Our stay at the Coral Boutique Hotel was very enjoyable. Our room was clean, and comfortable
This hotel is in a good location
5/5
hotel and would stay again and will recommend to anybody i know travelling to tbilisi
- U7864NSjohnd (8/5): Lovely staff and great food - This charming little boutique hotel is not in the absolute poshest part of central Tbilisi, but that turns out to be almost a virtue. It’s only a short stroll to the riverside, and to New Tiflis - the ‘new’ old town that boasts a plethora of excellent eateries and bars, as well as a thriving street culture. But it’s the getting to such tourist spots that makes the Coral’s position so interesting. Walk along tree-lined streets (not always paved that well) past Art Nouveau-influenced buildings, the fascias, balconies and architraves of which are not in the best condition. It’s the mish-mash of architectural styles and flavours from the past century that bring these streets to life. Turn a corner here and discover a well preserved or renovated art gallery such as the Art Palace; turn a corner there and wonder why schools are numbered rather than named, then remember that Georgia was once part of the Soviet Union. But you are never a few steps from a grocery, bakery or pharmacy and a main shopping street runs parallel to Uznadze Street, the Coral’s location. Navigation around town is easy. It is bifurcated by the Kura River and visual points of reference include the mountain-top TV tower and the more recent green glass-clad tower atop The Biltmore Hotel (a very controversial addition to the skyline, which I rather liked). It’s very difficult to get lost, although there are not quite enough river crossings. If you get hungry on your perambulations, grab a Khachapuri - the ubiquitous local cheese and egg bread - from a hole-in-the-wall bakery or street stall in one of the many pop-up markets.
The Coral’s staff could not have been more welcoming. Returning from a long walk (and Tbilisi is eminently walkable) I asked if I could order a mid afternoon meal out of restaurant hours. Chef (perhaps the hotel’s matriarch) did so with pleasure, rustling up an excellent pasta bolognese from scratch, but then shyly and insistently offering up a complementary Georgian side, served with traditional hot bread. Both were delicious and the local fare turned out to be free (and delicious).
Currently the Coral offers a complimentary fruit basket (sadly, mine did not make an appearance) and a free 30-minute massage in their spa. At $115 per night (booked through Agoda) it’s not super cheap, but it’s acceptable given their high occupancy. Fellow guests seemed largely to be Russian tourists.
The hotel breakfast (included) would put many five-star hotels to shame.
Just a word about taxis. The meters are not turned on and you have to negotiate. My fare from the airport at 5am (when there is no alternative transport) was 70 lari ($30) for a 20-minute journey. Hotel reception booked my return journey for just 30 lari, using an unmetered (and probably unlicensed) mini cab. But, again, hotel reception could not have been more helpful - as was the driver, who avoided a major traffic jam by taking me on a wild ride over the mountain.
- pazitush (8/5): Nice convenient boutique hotel - Stayed at this hotel recently for two nights. Had a nice middle size room with balcony facing the street. Although the elevator stops at a half floor before the room it was not too much to climb. Room was clean and well equiped, staff were quite OK though sometimes they left the reception and needed to find them. Breakfast was good . About 10 minute walk a near center is reached . As a whole- pleasant stay
- adamdP2643HV (10/5): Amazing!!! - My room was spacious, and stylish, situated a short distance from excellent cafes and night life. The food and drinks are priced very competitively, which is a bonus. The staff are very friendly, and helpful. When I return to Tblisi, I know where I'll be staying!
- Zuhayr (10/5): Coral, September 4, 2017. - Very good hotel overall, very good service, good airport trasfer taxi with low price. Good internet connection.
- Hagen (10/5): very nice private midsize Hotel - Clean, quiet and luxury Hotel. Nice large airconditioned rooms. Very friendly personell. In all for a very good room rate. We`ll come back!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Above average - Simple accommodation for the price. Very nice staff. Breakfast overwhelming choice. Good Air-con & comfortable bed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - . Dear

- David201999 (10/5): Best hotel in Tbilisi! - Room was great, very friendly staff.

I had the feeling that i am at home from the moment we went to reception.
Dont miss a very good massage if you have time!!!
