• Ryan (10/5): - Loved our stay here! Great location near lots of good restaurants. Walking distance to major attractions and 10 min walk from the bus station for day trips. Huge perk is the onsen inside the hotel!

• Daniel (10/5): - The views are absolutely superb. Request the 6th floor facing Miyagawa river if you can. Great space and facilities for a budget hotel, where you want to spend most your time in Takayama. Staff are very helpful and even dropped us off at the train station.
• Lay Har (10/5): - I was given a room with two windows overlooking mountain range in the horizon. The hotel looks average on the exterior, but the service staff (very hospitable) and amenities (beverages, sweets and toiletries) more than make up for that. I was also allowed to check in earlier.

• Hock Chye (10/5): Excellent Hotel in Takayama - The hotel is located 700m away from the JR station and bus station. It located at EA town area. And 3 min to the morning market and 5 min to the old street where they sell lots of small items. Got free sake tasting too! The hotel has an onsen. The front staff can speak English and greet you warmly. There is free parking if you drive. The room is spacious and clean. I strongly recommend this place if you plan a trip to Takayama
