• Stefano (3/5): Not what we paid for. - Location The room was not tho one we booked for. we have arrived, and they gave us a completely different room without telling anything. Upon our request for clarification, they recognised the difference between what we paid for and what we had, but they weren't able to provide us with a satisfactory alternative. Since that the refund was not possible and upon only our request they accepted to give us a free meal. After the "gifted dinner" we found out that beverages were not included in what they considered the "free dinner". Moreover, our room was not cleaned properly. The toilet trash bin was still full from the previous guests. We paid the room with the breakfast included, but it was definitely the poorer breakfast we had in the Philippines. I asked for some fruit or just a simple tea but weren't available for us. They told us we should pay them separately. All that we received from breakfast were an omelette and pancake with nothing else.

Do not get room 111 by the road. Friday night band and singing all night unless you like to party late. It was like my bed was in the bar

They are good mattresses to sleep on. And they have sun loungers and others facing the beach. There is no shampoo. Take the beach front rooms not facing the parking lot. WiFi doesn't work even though I've asked three times for the code and help to get it working. The window in the bathroom cannot be closed, so insects come in. There is no mirror in the bathroom. No cups and no kettle.

Located right on the main road of General Luna, it’s super convenient to get to everything, while still feeling like a peaceful hideaway. The resort is beachfront, offering direct access to the ocean with no reef in front, which makes swimming easy and enjoyable—especially at night, thanks to the lights installed in the water. Relaxing Atmosphere and Great Facilities The rooms were clean and comfortable, with hot water in the shower and a spacious terrace that had an amazing ocean view. I also appreciated that the room had a good setup for working, which made a big difference during my stay. Everything felt well thought out for both comfort and convenience. Fantastic Food and Social Vibe The restaurant at Patrick’s serves really good food, and it quickly became one of my favorite places to eat on the island. The attached bar and restaurant area also had a great atmosphere for meeting new people and making friends. It felt like a little community of travelers and locals alike. Unbeatable Location for Surf and Chill One of the highlights for me was how close the resort is to “Cemetery” surf spot, which is perfect for beginners. Being able to walk there in just a few minutes was a huge plus. Despite being in such a central location, the whole place is very quiet and perfect for relaxing after a day out. Warm and Professional Service Last but not least, the staff made the experience even better. Everyone I interacted with was incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. It felt like they genuinely cared that guests had a great time. Overall, Patrick’s on the Beach offered everything I was looking for—comfort, convenience, great food, and a warm vibe right by the ocean. I’ll definitely be coming back! I asked a few times, they did not have coconuts

• Small (2/5): Very poor - Location was right on the beach and within walking distance of everything. Staff was very friendly and helpful. With the appropriate upgrades, this property could be in the top 5 on the strip I don't enjoy giving negative reviews, but it's not worth the 125 CAD per night paid for the stay. We have been traveling throughout South EAST ASIA for the past two months, and this hotel was the most disappointing. Two small bars of soap were your only toiletries. There's no complimentary bottle water, no kettle, coffee/tea, etc, in the room we stayed in. There's a water dispenser in the lobby, but that requires compensation on an honor system. There mwas Foul smell in our room 111. This is just to name a few negatives.

• Richard (10/5): Patrick's: A Nice Beach Front Hotel - Pros: Patrick's is right on the beach! They have cabanas for dining right on the beach. Pick a cabana, and they will serve your food to you there. Swimming on Patrick's beautiful sandy beach is amazing. (Best swimming is during high tide). Good WIFI. Restaurants, souvenir shops, and ATM are just a short walk. Beautiful lush grounds, and nice landscaping. Bungalows have ocean view from your front deck. Surfboard and instructor at Cloud Nine available for 600 Pesos ($12 USD) per hour. (It's a 10 minute tricycle ride to Cloud Nine). Be advised, the ocean bottom at Cloud Nine is rocky, not sand! Motor bikes available on site at Patrick's. They rent for 600 Pesos ($12 USD) per day. Island Tour or Land Tour available. Inquire at front desk about rentals and activities. Beach view Ping Pong table available at Patrick's restaurant. Friendly staff. Cons: At Patrick's restaurant, I ordered an American Breakfast each day. It came with plain Texas toast. I had to ask for butter. No jam, jelly, honey, Nutella, peanut butter or anything that might add some flavor to the toast. So I just ate my plain Texas toast each day. Disappointing, and hard to believe a restaurant in a busy hotel doesn't have any of these items available! Dear Hotel Guest, You will have nothing on your toast at breakfast. Just eat it dry! There were several brown outs, and heavy downpours during our two days at Patrick's. Bring an umbrella! Beach Front Bungalows have no mini fridge. We enjoyed our stay at Patrick's, especially swimming at the beautiful beach!

I love the tropical vibes and the food.is so delicious special the mango curry chicken burrito with fresh vegetables on top. You really feel like you're part of a family because the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The location is close to bars, discos, grocery stores, the church, and the market. I love eating breakfast right in front of the famous Daku and Guyam Islands. The best part is that they offer various types of accommodations, from luxury to budget options. That's a big plus.

• Corazon (8/5): It was an ok stay but it can be better had they made sure the airconditioner works before our arrival. - The resort is a beachfront property & located in General Luna. The food at the resort’s restaurant is great. All the staff are really nice & attend to our needs right away except for the A/C issue on our first night. 1. On our first night, the cottage air-conditioner didn’t work. I tried to call the reception at around 2 am., there was no answer. Because of the heat, the 4 of us were unable to sleep on the first night. But they fixed the A/C problem the next day. 2.There’s no swimming pool. I had the impression that it has a swimming pool ‘coz I saw it in one of the vlogs of someone about the resort. 3. There’s no ceiling fan as indicated on our booking but was given an electric fan right away when requested. 4. There’s no sofa bed inside the cottage as indicated in the booking but it’s ok we didn’t need it. They need to update their amenities online.

The steps down to the beach immediately in front of our cabin were blocked with garden waste and overgrown and could not be effectively used. See photos No 1 & 2. This impacted on my partners early morning beach walks. Other steps along the boundary to the beach were all accessible. Expected to receive bottled water on a daily basis but this did not occur.

• Jonathan (10/5): MAGANDANG BUHAY - My friends and I all agree that Patrick’s Resort is a magical place. The traditional Kubo style accommodations made the experience all that more unique in comparison to the other resorts in General Luna. This hideaway is situated right in front of this amazing beach nestled among an array of Philippine “tuk tuk” and modern style boats anchored in the shallows. The real treasure of this gem of a resort is the resort’s staff and family who shared a hospitality so genuine and generous that left our hearts full. • Kerry (10/5): - It was a very nice stay and I hope to stay there again one day. Overall, the property is very beautiful. The air conditioning is a bit small for the room - takes a long time to cool it down. There is no electricity unless you are in the room - your room key activates electricity. So you cannot leave a phone charging or the air conditioning on. You start over with a hot room each time you return. There is also a nightclub next to the property so loud music continues until about midnight each night. None of these negative things bothered me, but I could see a lot of people being bothered which is why I mention - because other than that it was all quite excellent.
• William (2/5): - Hot water only worked one day. Had a rat living in the ceiling pooping on our stuff at night. Wild dogs howling and fighting on the property all hours... construction during the day on both sides of us. Didnt sleep much. They did have a nice view though.

• robert (6/5): Truth - Stayed thier 3 times . Never again. Totally property is run down. Disco next door every day boom boom. All late day till night. Things like towels so old. Its a great location just not worth it anymore so many nicer places. Its safe here. Hate to rate low. But you'll want the truth. Had to change room first day. No tvs . Many rooms no fans..why.second room ac worked but weak. Did not say anything as it needed to be changed window unit. If you are from usa. You need good aircond . It was not super hot. Just never cooled the room. Beach location is the only reason i chose again. Pay more get higher rated plenty of transport. I seen siargao inn on the beach. Looked clean and simple and nice

• Evangeline (4/5): Was not satisfied because of the room condition - The service was good especially the land tour; our driver/guide was Albert & he was exceptional, respectful & funny. Also the servers at breakfast The room needs major upgrades. There were a lot of us for a single bathroom. The beds & pillows were not comfortable & there were ants in the bathroom & the walls. When checking in one of the ladies said breakfast was complimentary but during check out we were charged, it was fine but the meal did not include water nor coffee. Its the 1st hotel/resort we have stayed that does not include water w/ the meal. We have travelled all over from the US, Europe & Asia, water is part of the meal. All the restaurants we ate in siargao had complimentary cold water but not this hotel.
• Kenneth (8/5): - Patrick on the Beach is a truely unique experience. The staff was very helpful, the beach front property was amazing with, and the cabanas where absolutely delightful. My only complaint would be the loud music at night ( our cabana was far enough away, but still annoying at tmes) and the daily power outages. Niether one of these issues was the fault of Patrick's or the staff. Overall I would rate this place a 95 out 100. My fiance and I will definitly be back.

• Ingrid (10/5): Very good choice in General Luna! - We (my travel partner and I) happily recommend this place - it is very good value for money as you get clean, spacious bungalows on a beautiful tropical beachfront property smack bang in the middle of General Luna. Great options for dining, drinks and shops right outside (don't miss Bebie's BBQ skewers on the other side of the road!). The staff here treat you so nice and they answer questions and accommodate requests with smiles and good vibes, we felt like saying goodbye to new friends when we left. Nice food can also be ordered from their own restaurant, we tried salads, smoothies and snacks. Highly recommend taking their island tour - full day trip with highlights from Siargao (cave, river, beaches, rock pool, viewpoint and waterfall) - this way you truly see the island of Siargao. If you have more time take another day trip to the lagoon and the smaller island on the west side. I was considering the smaller and cheaper island hopping tour but got the impression it is very touristy, and this island tour gave me what I - in my opinion - came to Siargao for, in addition to General Luna and the surf vibes there. Absolutely recommended choice for accommodation if you want a beautiful tropical place to stay with beach access and while having the town life right around you. Nothing really - we got everything we needed and more. Didn't see other room types.

The beach sitting areas are well equipped and comfortable. I love this place. It is not a luxury resort and that is why I like it. The cottagea are basic, but comfortable. Only wifi near the reception office. However the data signal is good enough for streaming video. It helps that I have unlimited data on

• David (10/5): - This is an amazing property and will always be my 1st choice on any further trips to Siargao. The beach front cottages/bungalows are on the minimalist side, but they are very comfortable and you have a wonderful view of the garden and ocean. Prices are great and they have a tremendously welcoming staff that I enjoyed chatting with every day. Food on site is really good and there is a very good bbq place next door. Also a very popular bar is a short walk away.

Family room with two bunk beds and two queen beds was perfect as we were two couples and three singles. Very close to the beach. Staff was very pleasant and accomodating. Helped us arrange island day tour and airport transfers. Location was good. Walking distance to main town and on the main strip. Quick tricycle ride to Cloud Nine surfing area. The only issue was on the last day I ordered a simple hamburger from the restaurant and had to wait one hour for it to be made. When it arrived the burger was extremely overcooked and was probably the worst (driest) burger I have ever had. Definitely not worth the wait or the 300 pesos they charged me for it. The restaurant was too busy and likely had no proper chef to ensure food was being prepared properly in a timely fashion. Other than that the resort was fine, but I wouldn't recommend the restaurant. This is a lovely little place right in the heart of the town / bathroom could have been better ie a flush on the toilet not water tub and bucket / but again this is normal here and there was hot water! • Roberto (6/5): Nice place but needs service improvement - The place was good since it is located on the beach and it has huts so cozy and very comfortable to stay on while having a good site of the ocean. The food is good and costs reasonably. They only need to improve the condition of their rooms and the provisions of daily supply of toiletries and towels...the management wont initiate to change linens and towels or clean the rooms even if your stay would last for more than 3 days. The towels on the first day of stay would require a deposit. Should it not be included in the room cost already? Needs improvement also on staffs’ accommodating nature to make their clients feel fully welcome...but overall our stay in the resort was memorable and happy..

Starting with "Mango Curry with chicken" or German Pancake with fruit fillings. The Beach is fantastic, Surfing super, all sides are reachable by tricycle in minutes. Island hopping only minutes away and in the evening the never forgetting sunsets. We will go back for sure. For us it was a great choice on short notice. Thank you "Patrick's on the Beach " team.

• Markus (6/5): Strange - Much of what is advertised on the website is not available, e.g. surface excursions on the Island of Siargao or international phone calls; such things ought to be removed from the website. A pack of little dogs starts reliably and persistently to get noisy at 01:30-0200 am... The management might consider that guests may prefer to sleep unperturbed... The owner is absent - that is my explanation for the whole restaurant staff taking a daily "lunch break" from 01:30-0300 pm- never seen that anywhere else. Staff members are partying (?) in the area reserved for the guests... Oftentimes loud music has been played in the kitchen - I am not sure whether this will improve the overall quality of the output of the "singing karaoke kitchen combo"... In the evening the restaurant allegedly closes at 8 pm, but orders are not accepted anymore at 7:15 pm already. After having been turned away 2 times we quit and became regulars at "Ronaldo's Restobar" across the street. There is no security at the entry to the establishment, therefore everybody can enter unchallenged at will. The roof of our thatched hut was not tight and the mirror in the bathroom was almost blind upon arrival. The establishment is not exactly providing value for money - in my humble opinion it is overpriced. We have asked where we can find "Bingo tricycle rental" or the local tourist office - of course the receptionist could not answer these basic questions... I don't recommend the place and I won't return.
