• Monique (7/5): Hotel is very pretty, good location - Property is in good location. Right at entrance of Medina. Love the patio and the view. Hotel looks just like the pictures. Bathroom door would not close completely. No microwave. Breakfast was not that good. Flies were all around the food because the door was kept open to the restaurant. One of the breakfast cooks could not speak English so my Tunisian husband had to translate for me. Also takes a while for the air conditioning to work in room.

• Jan (10/5): Just very nice - The location mas the best part. Brealfast mas acceptable and all the staff were exceptcional! Because of it's locational on the main square it not noisy at night until the young people stopped playing socceer. It ceased at about 10:30 however.

L’hôtel à beaucoup de charme, Bien entretenu. Niveau de bruit très acceptable malgré la médina sous les fenêtres. Juste un léger bémol pas bien grave, mais si j'avais eu dans la chambre a disposition une bouilloire avec un peu de thé cela aurait été parfait !

• tattooedtraveller_uk (8/5): ok room, great view - This place looks really grand from outside, and then you come in and its still quite grand. However there was a very uncomfy bed, I had a room facing straght out onto the square which was great - but there was no chair to sit on on the balcony which was a shame. For some unknown reason at 4am someone from the cafe bellow started to rearrange tables and chairs - metal on stone floor, not just one chair, it went on for ages. I had taken advantage of the decent weather and had my doors open, but I had to shut them and put on the A/C instead which I don't like to do. I could still hear the chairs being moved. Breakfast was quite plentiful but really basic and the food had been out for ages, probably one of the worst quality breakfast I had in 4 weeks of travelling North Africa.

Colazione abbondante e possibilità di mangiare al ristorante la sera. Ottima vista sulla piazza. La posizione centralissima ha i suoi pro e i suoi contro. I contro si amplificano se hai una macchina a noleggio (in quel caso consiglio i parcheggi privati e non in strada: il rischio multa con ganascia/truffa è alto). Non dipende chiaramente dall'hotel, che specifica di non avere parcheggi in struttura, però consiglio di pianificare bene le attività se si viaggia in macchina

• Joseph (8/5): Live a few days in the history of Tunis. - This is a very nice hotel and its location is superb. Breakfast is good and you can have dinner/lunch at their restaurant. Food is very good and staff also. Rooms are nice. The hotel is even part of the history of the city.

A little attention to a draft coming from the top part of the window and a leak on the corner of the shower. Also, during breakfast people had to ask for bread or cutlery despite staff being present all time. Providing a tourist map would be nice also.

The hotel has so much character and the rooms are spacious and very clean. ​Huge shoutout to the concierge team—their honesty and expert advice were top-tier. We also highly recommend the restaurant; the mixed grill was incredible. Breakfast was standard, but the overall experience was 10/10 for our first visit. We’ll be back!

• Cristina (7/5): Globalement bien - La localisation était idéale et l'ambiance générale est sympa. Le personnel est adorable, 10/10. Coupure d'eau la deuxième nuit qui a duré jusqu'à notre départ, du coup pas d'eau courante et pas beaucoup d'info sur quand est-ce qu'elle allait revenir. Le petit déj était un peu décevant même si la dame qui le servait être extrêmement gentille et m'a préparé un jus d'orange pressée et donné des gâteaux traditionnels sans le demander, vraiment adorable.
• DebbieC560 (10/5): Best Stay Ever! - This hotel exceeded all expectations. We simply loved our stay here. Set at the entrance to the medina there are ATM's and cafes nearby. If you need a taxi they queue at the nedina gate out from of the hotel. The furnishings and decor are beautiful. Each time we come back from a day's touring we were greeted with "Welcome Back Home"- loved the place. Beautiful staff and the breakfast was the best in the six weeks we were in North Africa. Thankyou to the beautiful staff.
• MatejaM26 (2/5): Unprofessional and greedy - We didn't have a reservation, so I checked booking for price and go inside to ask for a price. Price was higher, apparently becouse of tax 9€/p.d. We decided anyway to take a room with a nice view in a 4*hotel for 3 days and we payed on the spot. When we wanted to go in a second flor with an elevator, it was not working. At the early evening everything close and you have nothing to do in a hotel or around. TV in a room wasn't working too. So really nothing. We expected at least an information about things that are not available for use....I mean for that price? For half a price across the street you get the same facilities. Next day we got information about death in closest family and of corse we went immediately home. We bought new fly ticket for the same day and we ask hotel to return as at least something couse we actually use hotel just one night and breakfast. Without any emotions the guy gave us a voucher for one day in their hotel. I didn't have energy or time to express my real disappointment, but for me that was discasting experience, especially becouse I think that Tunisian people are very kind, warm and open, always trying to help. So the people in a hotel are not like that! It is all just about money, and I DON'T LIKE THAT!

• Emma (10/5): Beautiful hotel with extremely friendly and professional people! - In general, the staff was really friendly and sweet but on top of that they were also extremely helpful with the many requests that I had when organizing my sisters birthday that was happening during our trip. BIG shout out to Mr. Lotfi who is extremely hospitable, kind and always made an effort to make us comfortable while always maintaining professional. He was also very helpful with the organization of our trip, places to go, etc. which made him very reliable. He definitely played a big part in making this an unforgettable trip for us and we will definitely recommend the hotel to others making a trip to Tunis.

• Liam (9/5): Great location, friendly staff, great restaurant - Highly recommend. - The staff were absolutely brilliant, the room was comfortable (I had a balcony which I was very pleased to spend my evenings on), and the range of breakfast food was superb. Highly recommended. The internet was a little bit patchy, but not a deal breaker.

Lage ist wirklich der Hammer, mitten im Zentrum von Tunis, die wunderschöne Medina ist 5 Schritte weit entfernt. Ästhetik des Hotels ist wie aussen als auch innen sehr schön. Hotel war am ersten Tag ziemlich unsauber, flecken auf/neben dem Bett, Bettdecke war am ersten Tag nicht da. Das Badezimmer wurde in einem unsauberen Zustand aufgefunden. Am nächsten Tag war alles viel sauberer und die Bettwäsche war komplett.

• Yarshad (10/5): Amazing stay in the middle of Medina - Place is literally in the center of Medina with walkable distance to lot of eateries and shops. Our toom offered view into the square outside. Breakfast was amazing and the lady ("Rabev", i hope i am pronouncing it right) in the kitchen was very kind and she served us omelets. Be aware if you are driving to there by your own, roads are bit narrow and goes through the Medina. If you are not used to driving in African, Asian countries, it could feel too much.
