- Edwin (3/5): - Building was very nice. i like old buildings. I was disappointed that there were no people manning the hotel. I was given a code to enter the hotel and to use to enter my room. The welcoming text message mentioned eating at their restaurant/bar. I arrived on Sunday a little after 6 PM and the restaurants were closed. I had difficulty getting the TV to work. I probably spent 15 minutes before i got the TV working. There should be some clear instructions on how to operate the TV.

The staff communicated through text for check-in and check-out. My only complaint was the bed was slightly too soft for me. It was mushy, I just prefer a very firm mattress. Great hotel.
- Sherry (10/5): 10 stars for a PERFECT romantic stay!!!! - This hotel (we stayed in the art room) was like a castle. We loved the personal little touches, the towel swan, the flower tissues in the boxes and little wine glasses. The beauty kept in this hotel truly was an experience I will never forget. The soaker tub was so comfortable. The robes were also a nice touch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Would like to stay in some of the other rooms as well! LOVE THE FRAMED OLD PHOTOS!! I do not have anything negative to say. The only thing I wish we could have done is to see some of the other rooms.
- Cindy (10/5): Loved our stay! Unique, affordable and fun! - Our room was great! The building is beautiful and so unique! We loved everything about it! Spent some time at the bar/lounge and Heather was great and so was Emma! Will definitely be back! The bathroom was a little strange- the barn door didn’t close all of the way and I think the side area with the toilet should have had a separate door.

They maintained the beauty of this building, but used contemporary touches blending it in a very attractive way! Initially we weren’t sure about not having a front desk staff, but I felt very comfortable and safe with the coded lock system. We ran into the owner by accident and she was very friendly made us feel very welcomed. I could not find the fitness room I would suggest putting some water by the Keurig machine in the lobby

It was likely the most quiet and peaceful stay I've ever had. Also appreciated the coffee bar in the morning. Location was central to everything. Once parked, we walked everywhere. Hope to be back. The location was great - we took a short walk to a coffee shop for breakfast. The sinks were very modern and cool looking, but drained a little slowly.

My family got upgraded their stay and that second room had electronic fireplace? -Anyway that fireplace also made our stay cozy. Stuff was helpful. When we told them about a problem that accrued during our stay they did their best to solve it. A bit dusty blinds. Felt that instead of raising them completely it was better to just turn them. Other than that everything was clean. Bed was super comfy.

We had to each leave the room for the other to shower. All you needed to do was add a shower curtain or a door on the bathroom.

- Michelle (9/5): Great Boutique Hotel! - Everything was exactly as described. Room was clean, awesome decor. A pub and restaurant is in the building so if weather is lousy, you don’t have to go out. The only thing in our room that was not ideal was the heating system. When it was on it was too hot, but when it wasn’t on it was uncomfortably chilly (but it was a very cold night!!). Ours was a smaller room and maybe in another season it wouldn’t be an issue. We loved our stay and will definitely come again.

- Edwin (10/5): Charming, historic - The hotel is nonintrusive. There's no front desk but services are a phone call away 24/7. Cleaning staff is very helpful and polite. The building is a charming window to the past. The inside has been remodeled without destroying the looks of the period. The entrance requires climbing about 10 steps.

Definitely stay there again. - The history of the property and uniqueness of the rooms were fantastic Although it was contactless I had a problem prior to arrival, Maranda the manager helped me out. Each floor had Christmas decor. Definitely would stay here again Outside the cigarette butts in the open can was very unsightly. Lack of Christmas decor or outside.

- sarahpV8047CH (10/5): Unique experience! We will be back! - Location is within walkable area of downtown Williamsport. Many nearby restaurants that we enjoyed during our stay. Hotel is unique in that you choose your room when you book. No front desk staff, just a code number that gets you in the front door and then your hotel room. Easy peasy. Our room was fun, clean, extremely quiet, and luxurious for a very reasonable price. We will certainly return. Best shower in any hotel I’ve stayed in. We travelled from more than one hundred miles away to see what Williamsport had to offer, including hiking and restaurants. This hotel is what we will remember most….in a good way. Congrats on a new hotel experience that delivers!

- Stancampiano (9/5): Quirky room in a great building. - Comfortable bed. Interesting building. Good location. Easy access to room. Good parking. Good access for disabled people. Nice fridge. Third floor ice machine area has $1 drink vending machine. Awesome! No grab bars in shower. Toilet is not near sink. No counter space. No chairs or sofa to sit on. No night lights. Unlabeled soap, shampoo, and conditioner in shower. Not much of a view out the window.

We stayed in the Little League suite on the 3rd floor and it was very well thought out, spacious but not too spacious, unique and very welcoming. The glass elevator along with the motion sensor lights in the building were a nice touch. And the downtown church bells by the hour were a great addition to the feel as well.

Could have used a luggage rack, shelf in shower, shower cap, USB ports. Thermostat didn’t work properly and was hard to read 60 vs 80. Fan setting on medium was high, on high was off. Chairs lacked sufficient padding, sank too deeply in.

Cleaning staff left rags & some items unclean when we got there (dirty Kleenex on night stand} & air conditioning on full blast so it was very cold & took 4 hours to heat the room up to 68 degrees. We didn't like the lack of privacy in our room. Not having a door or screen to the bathroom didn't work well for us (adult mother & daughter). The shower & toilet being fully open to the rest of the room was weird & we would not stay there again for that reason.

- Gregory (9/5): - Great converted building right in the middle of town. perfect for visiting Lycoming College. Some rooms don't have windows but some of them are quite spacious. Would go back again. It was expensive (almost $200) but it was Lycoming College Homecoming weekend.
- AdventureJune (8/5): Great location - Love the hotel, location and how spacious the room was. I love that Boom city is now in the basement of the hotel. I didnt like that there was trash already in the trash can when I got into the room and the bed sheet absolutely looked like someone already slept on it. Was it changed?!? Hair on it, and it looked like it was not clean at all. I had to grab a sheet from my truck to cover it because by the time I came back to my room I was too exhausted to message about it.

- Catherine (4/5): - The room I stayed in was room 305. The shower, toilet, and sink are all in the bedroom with no door. The toilet is behind a partial wall directly next to the bed, but there's no door, and the sink is across the room from the toilet. The shower is the first thing you see when you walk in, again with no door or barrier. If you're staying in the room with someone, hopefully the two of you are very comfortable sharing each other's space in every way. The hotel was also very noisy with no sound-proofing. The doors in the hallway bang very loudly, and you can hear everything in the next room, and I mean everything. There are also no staff at the hotel except the housekeeping folks. There's no front desk or lobby, so if you need something like extra toilet paper or a clean towel, you're out of luck. The aesthetic is cool, and it's very centrally located. But I would not stay there again, I'm sorry to say.

- paulasN9000GX (10/5): City Hall Grand Hotel was a grand experience! - City Hall Grand Hotel is an experience is an of itself! We could have driven straight home easily from the place we stayed the night before. But when this hotel popped up, I knew we had to stay there! We had a great night, did some walking on the Susquehanna Riverwalk, ate on the rooftop of Amy's in South Williamsport, and picked up lunch today at Boom City. Take in the WHOLE hotel from basement to the third floor. Our room had a vault door on the bathroom! Note that it is contactless, so your communication is by text or email. This hotel is not to be missed!
- Lew (9/5): We love old-world hotels and understand the quirks that may come with them. With that in mind, this - We really appreciated how well this old building was renovated. No easy task. The facility is beautiful and stately. The interior layout was very smart with old photos and artwork on the walls. We both explored the halls on the three floors and were impressed with the thoughtfulness of the redevelopers/architects. Very little did we not like. Given that the building Wes built in 1993 and is still in operation today is impressive. One little nit- Room 201. Lose the rusting plunger beside the toilet! Ha. Oh, I forgot to note- Adjoint to the hotel outside on the ground floor is a quaint cafe/bar called Boom Town Cafe.Please lose the gaudy red decorations adorning the gazebo in front of it. It takes away from the splendor of the building.

I would recommend letting people know that there is a door with a ramp so that folks don't have to trek up the front stairs with their luggage. And also have signage around the walls from that area to the elevator. And from the restaurant to the elevator. One can get lost down there but staff was helpful! Love our stay!

- Justin (10/5): - They place is awesome. Our room was unique, in a good way. It was modern with a rustic historic feel. The room was way clean and just right for what we needed. The walls were a little thin and we could hear the neighbors but it didn’t take away from the experience. Parking is limited but we didn’t have a problem overall. The housekeeping staff were way nice and the overall experience was amazing. Highly recommend!

- christy (5/5): Not huge issues but would be hesitant going forward if decline of attention continues. - I like staying here and you are always responsive to any issues if they happen 1st room had an odor that I had an allergic reaction too, Pillows are getting old. Second room had no AC/Heat control and no coffee make. I believe there used to be channel listing but maybe not. It definitely would be helpful. I've operated hotels before so I understand consistency and standards for clients. I'm not a complainer and very rarely respond to surveys other than positive but I do think if you want to maintain clients, the rooms need a little more attention.
