Downside is the number of elevators. There’s just one elevator for a hotel10 stores-high with lots of guests. It takes so long to go up n down.

The Home Hotel furthermore offers a great breakfast buffet on the top floor from where you‘ve got a nice view over the city. The staff is really welcoming and will provide you with a map and a short introduction of the vicinity as well as Mandalay‘s main sights.

- Christopher (8/5): Good value for money - Stayed only one night as I had to catch a midday and was coming in from Bagan. At the time of stay, the hotel was still under heavy contruction/renovation. Although it didn't affect my stay too much. The room was spacious, clean and simple. The only negative comment is that the air-con doesn't turn on until after 5 mins which in the blistering heat can be a rather long wait. Breakfast was decent but the service was outstanding. very attentive!
