• Jennifer (10/5): Traumhafte Villa und Location - Wir waren überrascht, wieviel schöner die Unterkunft in echt war. Ein Kleinod mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Je nachdem was man sucht. Da wir spontan und nur kurz da waren, kann ich nichts über den Morgen und/oder mögliche Verpflegung sagen. Haustier war willkommen und ohne weitere Kosten, aber auch ohne Ausstattung. Unser Host war sehr nett! Parkplatz auf dem Grudstück. Auto notwendig.

Ci ha tenuto a "farci notare" in malomodo che siamo stati un "ripiego" perchè la casa viene affittata interamente e si è capito dal fatto che è stato totalmente incurante di noi, offrendo acqua e caffè ad amici ospiti davanti a noi ( cosa gli costava chiedere se volevo un bicchier d'acqua) e che i figli di questi amici giocassero a palla in piscina, palla finita in piena faccia a me, ascigamano inzuppato del mio compagno il tutto davanti a lui ( attenzione.. anche io ho figli ma qui si parla di adokescenti). E..i peli nel letto scusate ma non li accetterò mai...

• Natalia (5/5): Passable - The hosts seemed nice in general, the view was very beautiful. The place is dog friendly and quiet. It has a great potential for a beautiful countryside house in the amazing Tuscany. There was no water, tea pot or coffee mashine in the rooms. When we asked for glasses to drink our own water, the owner refused to give them to us. Even though the pictures of the property show the kitchen and common area with a tv (there are no TVs in the rooms), we couldn't use the kitchen. When the hosts were leaving the property, they left the living room and kitchen locked. The house is very old, not taken care of and there is a bad smell of humidity and mold. Moreover, the windows were very old so the whole house was full of lizards and bugs called cimice (they are typical bugs you have in the countryside in autumn which is ok but they are not supposed to be in the house). In general, I did not enjoy my stay, I and me and my family left one day early regardless of the fact that we paid for the whole stay already. It is a shame because the place could be really beautiful if it was cleaned and restored, it has great potential.
• Dean (10/5): Stunning place - The Villa is beautiful with stunning views. We were met by a friendly chap who made us feel welcome and showed us to our room. The room itself was stunning and the bed was big and comfortable. The balcony had beautiful views and I took a dip in the pool which overlooks the valley. So relaxing and welcoming. We will be staying again.

• Ramona (10/5): Exceptional - Vintage style villa with cypreses. So lovely owners! In Villa Albertina all is perfect - location in country side, Toscana view, silence and pool. Room for 4 persons with terrace is so big and comfortable. We really enjoyed and relaxed here!
• Scott (4/5): Unbelievable potential in a beautiful area in Tuscany, very disappointing reality. - Great location in a beautiful area in Tuscany. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. The property has the potential to be one of the best in the entire area, however….. When booking asks you to select a level of satisfaction regarding facilities usually it is implied that there are facilities to rate. In Villa Albertina’s case the facilities are non existent. There is no water offered to guests and there is no fridge in any of the rooms…?! This is unacceptable as the nearest supermarket is 10km away, but what is the point of of purchasing even a simple beer when there is no fridge to keep it cool? For the price of €135 per night the lack of facilities is honestly unacceptable and there is no warning prior to arrival, hopefully this review will help future guests. There is no justification for this price. We selected this location to pull the plug and relax for a couple of days from the stress of everyday life but were forced to leave the property for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There isn’t even a coffee machine for guests! It is comical however that the owners have breakfast and dinner at the property every day, yet guests are forced to leave the property. Villa Albertina has the potential to be something truly special in a beautiful are in Tuscany. It is a shame that this is not recognized by the owners and guests come in second place. Unfortunately we will NOT be returning here as it is just not worth it.
• Hanson (1/5): This was a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience. - 1. The listing description said breakfast was free of charge and when we asked about it we were told it wasn't included and that there was a mistake in the listing. This proved to be a point of contention on day 1 and day 2 even when we showed Sandro that the description showed breakfast was included. Sandro blamed the discrepancy on his sister who managed the listing. Frankly, their inability to communicate/manage the listing should not have negatively impacted our experience. 2. We were told when we arrived that there would be a wedding or vow renewal on one of the nights. When we asked if it was going to be ok that we would be there, Sandro said it would be fine. It was not fine. We arrived back from a day of sightseeing to basically interrupt the bride walking down the staircase we needed to use to get up to our room. The common areas that were advertised as available to guests were then not available to us and we felt trapped in our room. It was very uncomfortable when we left for dinner and when we returned. It was very awkward. We felt badly about interrupting their ceremony. 3. The description advertised a pool and a restaurant and neither were available. This was a very disappointing experience. They should not have accepting any reservations on the night of the wedding/vow renewal. The description details should match the listing details. I am hesistant to use booking.com after this experience. I do not recommend staying at this place.

• Mehmet (1/5): Stay away of Villa Albertina, don’t ruin your holiday - nothing that I liked The hotel is quite amateur, they were not there when we arrived for accomodation. We waited 20 minutes. They did not answer our calls. We had to find another hotel in the middle of the night and they did not pay our money back. It was a total disaster.

Beautiful building and setting. - Location is very peaceful on a long road from Montespertoli to Treceno with few houses, but much closer to the latter so work from there. Set back from road so look for the cypress avenue - Very Tuscan. Beautiful old family villa with Virginia creeper, and woodland behind. La signora is very welcoming and helpful - she booked me a great restaurant close by which I never would have found by myself. As the villa is quite isolated, her help was very good. She also has the most adorable dog, who likes her tummy rubbed. I only stayed overnight but this would be great base to see San Gimignano, Volterra, the wine country etc over a longer time. All good. Wish I could have stayed longer.

• francesca (10/5): Three days in Tuscany - Villa Albertina looks like they picture Tuscany in the movies: the house, the landscape, the people are sweet and warm. We spend three days there since is close to San Gimignano, Florence, Siena, and an hour away from the amazing Lucca. Angelo and Lia are wonderful guests: stay for dinner if you can and taste the pesto alle melanzane!

I travel a lot for bussiness (twice a month, all over the world and several times in Tuscany) and those places that really different and feel like home (in a good "vacation-ish" way) are really hard to find. This was one of them. The owner was amazing!! So nice and helpful. Clean, romantic, nice breakfast. A car is a must in this area. In the middle between Pisa, San Gimingniano, Siena, Florence and Chianti region.I was so sad to leave after a week in this magical place.
• donald (10/5): Authentic Italian Villa in Tuscan Countryside - You will not find more hospitable service anywhere. Luciaia is a kind and generous hostess. Breakfast every morning exceeded expectations. Moreno was kind enough to invite us to a home cooked dinner one night and it was wonderful. He also made dinner reservations for us several times at nearby restaurants. We only had one issue that was not to our liking. Moreno smokes a very strong tobacco out on the patio, but leaves the door open to the house so that the cigarette smell was always present in the hallway and stairwell. Our bedroom was fine but if you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, this may be an issue.

We were 2 females from the US traveling through wine country staying at this place off season. The gentleman was so nice and kind. We made sure we found the local restaurant and then he wouldn’t leave us at the hotel alone Incase something went wrong during the bad wind storm we were having. The room was cozy and the bathroom was great. The view from the terrace was calming and relaxing. They went above and beyond for just two guest.

It is owned by the sweetest and most adorable couple! the husband is fluent in English and Italiano. And the wife speaks some English. But never did I feel un welcome! They asked me about my day and plans and gave me advice on where to go! Offered me a glass of wine every night when I returned from dinner! They treated you like family visiting from out of town! Must stay for a visit in Montespertoli! Hour from Siena, 45 from Firenze (florence) P.S. she even hung up and folded all my clothes for me when she cleaned my room. They really go the extra mile!

• Peter (10/5): Peaceful Tuscan Villa in the hills - Villa Albertina is tucked away in a quiet part of the Tuscan hills within easy driving distance of Siena and Florence, Our room was very sympathetically decorated and the bathroom was both spacious and very clean with a lovely rainfall shower. The hosts are absolutely fantastic, very friendly and helpful, even driving me to a local restaurant in the afternoon just to show me where it was as we had decided to walk rather than drive. Breakfast was served out on the verandah overlooking the Tuscan Hills. We would definitely return as we felt welcome, relaxed and totally at peace at the Villa.
