This is the nicest Courtyard I’ve ever stayed at and I have well over a 1000 nights at Marriott. The great hospitality started at check in with this statement “the pool is open 24x7” - Wait What? We made our way to the lazy river and it was magical at night. Of course we were quiet as it was after 10pm. And it was even better when the sun came out! Hotels like this usually cost twice as much! This place is a steal!!!!

- TB149 (8/5): Good hotel and clean rooms - I'm a gold member, so I used my points on this two night stay. The king room was clean and nice. No complaints. We were greeted upon entering the hotel and the front dest staff was very friendly. The only downside was the "restaurant/bar". We both ordered the BLT along with a beer. We watched the wairtree make the sandwiches, then put them on the side where they sat for a while, while cooling off. Finally I asked for them and said they could bring the french fries over to my seat when they were ready. My wife took a bite of her sandwich and almost spit it back out. The bacon was thick, cold, and greasy. Terrible BLTs. My wife's meal came with a "salad", which consisted of only greens, with a terrible tasting dressing on it. We called the server over and asked to speak to the bar manager. She was concerned that we didn't like the food and gave us some points from the hotel plus tickets for a free breakfast for both of us. Breakfast the following morning was much better than the night before. One evening we wanted to sit by their fire ring and one of the staff lite it for us. The chairs surrounding the fire are comfortable and we enjoyed our time there. Overall, this is a good hotel and we will return, but will not eat at the bar.

- B1371QAmeghanm (10/5): Exceeded every expectation! - I've stayed at MANY hotels and am told I'm extremely picky. This hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was so friendly and even provided my granddaughter with batteries for her camera. The room was clean and EXTREMELY spacious. The amenities are where it's at though. The pool was so lovely that I could not get my granddaughter to leave. There is a nice fire pit to sit by while your children swim. This hotel is one of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed at and we will definitely make the 8 hot drive back!

The mountain vibes made it 10x better with the landscaping and interior design. The garden is also super cute and relaxing! The food at the bar wasn’t the best, except the honey chicken sandwich, that was great! There also could be more places for outlets to work in the lobby. It was under renovation so maybe that is in progress.

- MichaelH15475 (8/5): Wedding trip to Pigeon Forge - We travelled to to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee for a wedding in July, and only stayed Friday to Monday, but I wish we had more time. Wedding was on Saturday in Sevierville at The Trillium, which was a beautiful venue overlooking the Great Smoky Mountains. But we stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Pigeon Forge and the hotel was great! Hotel was in a great location right in the middle of everything in Pigeon Forge. Hotel had a great pool with a lazy river, and the staff was super friendly and extremely accommodating. We ate at the Brick and Spoon next door and had a delicious breakfast, and went to the Smoky Mountain Brewery for dinner one night. Unfortunately we didn't have much time because of the wedding, but we were able to check out Gatlinburg one day. Had some drinks in Blake Shelton's bar Ole Red and Jason Aldean's rooftop bar and stopped by Anakeesta, which was really cool. Took the sky lift to the top and walked around up there and had one of the best beers ever, PB&J Mixtape, which was delicious! Overall, it is a great area to visit, but we didn't have much time because of the wedding, but we would love to go back and spend more time in the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg area since there is so much to see and do. And on your way out of town, be sure to stop at Buc-ee's, it will blow your mind!!!

- Kimberly (10/5): The hotel is one of my favorites for a small vacation, it is clean, comfortable, and great! - This hotel is so nice and is really a great place to be at for vacation. It was cold but there was a indoor pool and it felt really nice. The staff was really nice and would really help us with any questions. The only thing that I wish was there was a free breakfast or area for breakfast like a buffet but not just a restaurant, other than that I love this hotel.
- Amanda (5/5): The staff were all kind , the over all value for daily rate was disappointing - Location was good and the lobby was inviting First ,or the price per day there was no continental breakfast. The bistro in the lobby charged 14 dollars for 2 eggs… pricey. It was cold and the coverings on the bed did not include a warm blanket. The pillows were flat , no support and were the worst I ever slept on. I wadded up an extra bedspread supplied for the sofa bed and used it as a pillow. The sofa bed couch was hard and had no arm rests. The ottoman had dirty spots. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Showering made the bathroom humid and it took a while for the moisture to clear . Not to mention the lingering odor, what happened to exhaust fans? Finally, the toilet paper was awful , it was thin , rough and poor quality and we ended up buying some from the store to use.
- Rocker_rep (8/5): Quieter choice near The Smokies - This is a good choice to avoid some of the Gatlinburg crowds, with a fairly direct but busy drive to explore the Smokies. We were excited for our second visit & enjoyed it. As Marriott rewards Gold, it’s a good place to use or make points. However it was missing the wow factor we experienced at our previous stay. This time it all seemed tired. Staff, property, everything. We booked a riverview room - but what is left of the river was mostly covered by several large construction pods from the hotels recent renovation. They were going to be moved soon, supposedly. Their housekeeping was hit or miss. Staff was pleasant but again, most just seemed tired. We had 5 sunny, warm days mid-October when the hotel was sold out, and enjoyed the pool. But missed the pool music. They have an app advertised at the pool where guests can choose the playlist. However it wasn’t working until the day we left. Several other guests poolside missed it too. There’s endless outdoor technology now, easier than ever, so it was odd not to have some kind of music piped in. Not a big deal of course but many of us missed it creating a better vibe. A staff member apologetically admitted they were short staffed for things like that, not a priority. Nice hotel but with literally endless choices near The Smokies, we’ll probably check elsewhere next time.

- Zcharmaine (9/5): Great hotel! - The place is very clean. Great breakfast at The Bistro. The staff are all very nice and accomodating! Our room’s sink is leaking and I’m not sure if the exhaust in the rest room is not working or if there is no exhaust at all. Otherwise, the hotel is a great place to stay. Worth the money.

- Debra (4/5): Staff was great, room lacking. - Very pretty landscaping The toilet shot water out when flushed. The pillows were awful. Most of the lights didn’t work. No table and chairs to eat. Microwave in a dark spot and locked every use. Could see to find out it locked. Asked for a Mountain View and got the back of a building. No view except a little bit in the mountain. Was looking at a the back of an addition. Thermostat didn’t work.

- Dudley (6/5): Just okay. I would not stay here again. - It was a place to sleep. Very expensive, everything including breakfast was expensive. Staff was ho-hum…just ok. Bathroom fan was not functional.
- Susan (6/5): I would stay here again, but make sure I had a room away from the noise. - We liked the location. The hotel was clean and mostly comfortable. We especially liked the convenience of the Bistro and the food was good. It would have been nice to have breakfast included in the room price. I had requested a room away from the elevator and the ice maker. We ended up in 510 right next door to both. The faucet leaked around the vanity. All of my toiletries got soaking wet. I was told they could do nothing. It was the design. My powder make-up was ruined. We also had difficulty with the thermostat to get it to a comfortable setting. The lobby and Bistro areas were freezing. We wore coats to eat. Handicap parking was a problem.

- Stack (10/5): - Conveniently located in the heart of Pigeon Forge. Close to attractions but off of the main drag. Super comfortable beds. Larger rooms. Wonderful pool and lazy river.
- Rosemarie (7/5): It was a nice little getaway. We just needed wi-fi. - The building was beautiful. We didn’t have wi-Fi, we told them about the problem twice, they tried to fix it but never did. They need a new wi-fi system.
