- Deborah (10/5): Good - It’s smelled clean & was clean No place to sit outside. First hotel I’ve been to with no benches or area to sit outside.
- Paulna (9/5): - Very good Very clean
- Cynthia (9/5): I would use this location again - There is an old stale smell throughout the hallways.
- Juwana (7/5): Clean and Safe place - The facility was clean and safe, very well maintained. Convenient location. The light over the stove wouldn't go off so it was a difficult sleep because I prefer complete darkness.
- Shawna (10/5): -
- Gislese (6/5): Disorganized process with check in but a person names T was very courteous and corrected the situation. - Clean well kept No notification that the front desk closes at 10 pm
- Bagtyyar (10/5): -
- Matas (10/5): -
- Shaw (8/5): Trip - Very clean. Towels soft. Shower did not work or couldn't take a bath. No hand towels.
- d (8/5): We had a lot of fun and loved woodspring suites! - I loved how clean it was! The smells
- Stepan (1/5): -
- Lawrence (4/5): U get what u pay for - No extra towels or blankets offered
Horrible smell in elevator
Got stuck in elevator
Front desk clerk cold and firm
People on phones sitting on floor in hallways
The hotel is right next to a major expressway, quite loud
Front desk crew leaves at 10:00 pm
- Tyler (4/5): - The room door was propped open when we got to our room. There was a cartoon of eggs and ranch dressing sitting on top of the fridge. Also, there was no soap or shampoo in the room. A good place to stay for a night but I wouldn’t recommend staying there for much longer. The hotel room smelled but it was fine because we only booked the room so we would have a place to sleep
- Koos (8/5): Simple and no drama -
- Kayla (2/5): - This place is trash...entire place smells like weed. You have people living there. One regular that lives there warned me where to park saying cars are getting broken into in the parking lot. No soaps/shampoo in the room. Dirty wet towels. The website says there is a pool. There isnt a pool (only reason I booked). Walls are paper thin. The hotel is right off the highway and it felt like we were actually in the traffic. Blinds to the room were broken letting a bunch of light in. Very very sketchy place. Cannot stress enough how trashy this place is. Felt I was catfished from the pictures online. Terrible experience. I canceled my reservation for the rest of the weekend and booked somewhere else. I wouldn't stay here again if it was free. Cannot stress enough how trashy it is.
- Gokhan (8/5): - The place is allright for the price
- Eric (8/5): Very good -
- Patricia (2/5): - No one is at front desk to check us in
- Samantha (8/5): Very good - Everything No pool no free breakfast
- yareliss (6/5): - The property was great, very clean, smelled like cigarettes in the hallways and they don't dring towels or clean during the week
- William (10/5): - Exceptionally clean and super service from the front desk!
- Nadya (4/5): - Elevator didn’t work properly.. there was no pool like it said on Expedia and no room service
- Quentin (2/5): Overbooked and no place to go. - They said they left me a message the Wednesday before. I didn’t see it. Arrived at the property and was told I didn’t have a room. So I had to sleep in my car because they were overbooked. I’m too old to be doing that. Ruined the trip.
- Jamillah (2/5): - Worest place ever
- Verified traveler (2/5): Hotel or Home ? - 10/10 Would NOT recommend someone to stay here upon booking we got a room that was non- smoking. However, every hallway, the elevator, and or room smelled like either cigarette smoke, weed smoke, or wet dogs. Between the people standing around the halls talking while I was trying to take the luggage cart back downstairs and kids running the halls for hours I couldn’t tell if it was a hotel or someone else’s home. If you want to feel like you’re in someone’s home by all means stay here you will feel right at home but if you are truly looking for a place to relax and have some comfort save yourself the money and go to the location in Downer’s Grove !
- April (2/5): The worst day ever - We were there for a week I asked for my money back because the stove didn’t work. They didn’t have housekeeping and the room air conditioner didn’t work and they will refuse to give us some money back so I had to stay there when I asked for clean sheets they said that I’d have to wash them myself
- faten (6/5): - Decent for the price
- Theodore (10/5): - I like it that it is a one block walk to visit my parents.
Reasonable Cost.
Comfortable bed.
- Jennifer (1/5): Didn’t stay - Room wasn’t ready. Given another room to change in. Returned keys when left. When we came back late that night we couldn’t get into hotel. Had to drive to another town and stay at another hotel. No response about a refund from anyone.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Worst Experience Ever - Had to listen to people across the hall fighting, yelling, slamming their room door for three days during the day while I was trying to work. The third day they were fighting really bad and then the bathroom fan started leaking/raining all over the bathroom. I went down to customer service and requested a new room. They were very nice and put me into a new room. Well that room had evidence of bed bugs. I strongly recommend not wasting your money and staying there.
- Londell (5/5): Passable -
- Deborah (4/5): Bad clientele - It was bad neighbor in hall drunk banging on door. 6 police cars came one night and policeman had gun drawn running into
Hotel. Then internet was off more than on terrible for Darien!
- Scott (10/5): - Staff is very knowledgeable and area very peaceful
- Scott (10/5): - Staff very well experienced
Very pleasnt
- Scott (10/5): - Overall very nice experienced staff
Dry pleasant and accommodation
- Amanda (5/5): It was good just didn’t like to be questioned about having some toilet paper - It was decent
- faten (8/5): - Hidden location
- Gamaliel (10/5): - very good
- William (8/5): Will come back next year! - There was no breakfast!
- Sharon (8/5): - The room was clean and pleasant. However there was a broken alarm clock with no readable numbers and had an annoying ticking sound. I unplugged it and put it in a drawer because there were batteries still in it and it still made a ticking sound.
- Donald (2/5): - Rooms are due for updates
- Arif (6/5): - The front desk staff was friendly but were not helpful or did not keep their words.
They clean the room only once or twice a week. We had to throw the traskh out ourselves. This a property built in 2016 but the rooms are not well maintained.
If you are running a hotel start giving service and stop adding money to guest bills if they are asking you for small things like toiketeried or puts and pans.
- Anthony (2/5): Very poor - The location was the best thing I liked I didn’t like the fact that I had to pay for towels…usually a hotel swap out your dirty towels for free and in exchange you get clean towels but the fact that I had to pay for clean towels is beyond me!
- Demetrius (10/5): Exceptional -
- Curry (4/5): 1 and done - Price Loud teenagers outside fighting, elevator was dirty.
- Irina (3/5): I won’t return and won’t recommend to anyone - Not much to say Room has not hair dryer ( in description should be) , no Kleenex, no cups, no hangers, no coffee. Very noisy. 3 am we were up by a fire alarm
- Kimberly (1/5): I’m not happy with the way the manager handled my reservation. - I reserved 2 rooms. Three guest were mentioned on the reservation. When I got to the hotel with my guest, I was told that one of the rooms had been canceled and the manager tried to get in touch with me to see if I had inadvertently over booked. I was on the airplane and obviously missed the call. This caused us to have to spend more money and stay at another hotel in which we really didn’t like. The manager called me the day of my reservation to clarify my reservation and cancelled one of my rooms without speaking with me.
- Tyrone (2/5): - extended stay hotel which is located off the fwy but the rooms smelled gross and the beds were very hard. also they don't give you extra towels, you either have to pay to wash them or do an exchange for 3 bucks a towel!! not to mention that both nights we were there, the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and fire dept made us go outside for nothing! If you're looking for a nice hotel, this IS NOT IT!
- Sharon (8/5): - East side outside access door has a broken lock. Cannot be locked.
- Demitrius (6/5): - furniture was damaged in rooms specifically a chair.
- Jacob (2/5): - Terrible. We arrived slightly after check-in time and were told they didn’t have any rooms available, even though we booked over a week in advance. I’ll never use this service again. To their credit, they did suggest another WoodSpring hotel in Downers Grove that was nearly completed. They gave me the phone number to that, I called and booked one of the last rooms there. Cost was about $30 higher.
- Adrian (1/5): Bad - No good The has plaga
- Carla (2/5): - It was shown as a hotel and it’s an extended stay. The lights were motion sensored so when we went to bed and the bathroom door opened it turned on all the lights and scared us half to death!!
- Nyuana (6/5): - Nice stay
- Rebecca (6/5): Last Minute Stay - The room was spacious but it doesn’t have any amenities. This reminds me like a red roof but cleaner. The beds were on stilts. I’ve never seen anything like this but this is what it is for a last minute stay.
- Randall (8/5): Very good - Cleanliness Highway noise was very excessive.
- Davis (1/5): Infested with roaches - Roach infestation! In the two minutes we were in the room we saw several roaches on the walls and floor. We left immediately and asked for refund. Room did not match description; seemed to be a converted hospital or something. Description listed two queen beds, but one was a pullout couch (not mentioned anywhere in room description) the size of a double bed.
- Luebertha (8/5): - Hood
- Lekeishia (4/5): Un clean - My stay at Woodbridge Springs was not pleasant. The sink water did not go down and the air conditioner did not work. Also there was hair in the tub and the room was semi clean.
- Raysheripaulquentanja (10/5): Exceptional -
- Raysheripaulquentanja (10/5): Exceptional -
- Keifton (9/5): Superb -
- Allen (7/5): Good - Nice little kitchenette. Too much smoke on the floor I was on, and the smell of smoke in the room I was in. Complained about it but no change was made. Very uncomfortable.
- Cristian (2/5): - The entire building smells like weed
- elizabeth (4/5): - woke up at 230am from people above us running around and hearing future moving. our room smelled horrible.
- Sharon (10/5): - The staff is friendly
- Joel (6/5): Pleasant -
- Lekeishia (4/5): - My stay was not so good. For starters no staff greeted me upon arriving at the front desk and it took longer than expected to enter the entry way door with the key card going to my room. I was uncomfortable the whole night. The room was cold and the shower water was lukewarm. My overall stay was 3 stars.
- Steven (7/5): Good -
- Rom (7/5): Good - No breakfast WiFi was really slow
- Caleb (2/5): 1/10. Would not recommend. - I’m going to preface this by saying I travel a lot and I’ve had better service in middle of nowhere Ohio than here.
The main door to the hotel has a “trick” to getting it open.
They don’t allow early check in which is understandable but then my room was not ready for another hour after the 3pm check in time so I had to sit in the hallway and wait.
The elevator stopped working after a night and I was on the 3rd floor. I had to walk up stairs after work with my hands full.
They claim they have a gym but it’s just a room with 2 broken exercise machines and a SINGLE 5lb dumbell set.
The bed is the most uncomfortable I’ve been ever and they only give you two very flat pillows.
Worst stay ever.
- Tialwana (8/5): - It was okay
- Dominguez (1/5): Bad - Location and price. All the pot smoke everywhere. Kids roaming the hotel at all hours. Swiping door key cards everywhere. Police showing up on complaints.
- Tesha (1/5): I won’t return. That sums it up - I’m guessing this is a housing facility and not a hotel the guests who “live” there have a lot to say about what should and shouldn’t be done on their property. I was completely amazed at them making demands. It was a 7 day stay of hell an I rarely write reviews. They are just a little too mosey for me. I even paid in cash & was told I used a fake credit card it’s ridiculous but I definitely kept my receipt. God Bless
- Bryan (8/5): Not Bad! - The service was pretty good. Guy at front desk was friendly. The hotel is right down the street from my Moms house so it was convenient.
- Verified traveler (2/5): The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in - We booked a double bed, only got a single. They gave us two rooms, the other key didn’t work so we still only had one room. No one working at night could help us with another room key. Super thin blanket and not clean. My son slept in a chair, we slept fully clothed because we felt dirty. Had it not been for health reasons we while have forfeited the room and just drove home or slept in our car. When we first arrived the tv didn’t work, questionable people hanging around the lobby and outside: didn’t feel safe.
- Chirag (3/5): Budget motel with limited security measures and unruly guests - Location Noisy, other guests smoking and loitering , felt very unsafe , staff was inattentive
- Amaleah (6/5): - Lights went off.
- Melody (2/5): Nasty place to stay - The lobby smelt like a blunt. I was getting on the elevator and this man was creeping me out asking where was I from, what was my name, etc…and when the elevator doors opened on my floor three of his buddies was in the corridor in front of the elevator. I finally found my room and turned on the light and there were several bugs crawling on the bed and arm chair in the room. I immediately left. I waited for the front desk person to return for over 20 minutes however I ended up staying elsewhere.
- Omar (5/5): Passable -
- Tracie (1/5): Bs - Nothing Everything
- Erica (2/5): Very poor - We were given a dirty room after receiving the email saying our room was ready. There was a lot of noise all night long.
- Maria (4/5): Mediocre - There was a bug on the stove. The elevator quit working while we were there and in the elevator. They charge extra for towels and bedding. They also charge extra for dishware and cookware.
- Randy (3/5): Sorry to say that I can't recommend my stay to my friends. - The staff. I booked a room for 4 person. WIFI sucks! Room sleeps 4 but only 2 devices is allowed! What is this????? Only 2 bathroom towel is available, you need to go down to get another 2!!!!
- Simona (1/5): Bad -
- Tracie (1/5): Bad - There is no breakfast, there is no food, there is nothing here. You can barely get Wi-Fi, the doors don't lock, it's a lot of work that you'll really need. In darien this western springs room doors do not Lock The fact that I go to sleep and the doors do not lock. You don't have no breakfast. No contramental breakfast like your guess.
- James (6/5): - It does not offer any amenities and staff is not around. Poor choice for a hotel.
- Daniel (10/5): - It was closed to main roads, but still quiet. The property was nice and clean.
- Tracie (1/5): Boring - No wfi you should Not have to pay that should be Able to have more than one. Hooked up
- Janell (3/5): Poor -
- German (7/5): .. - .. ..
- Iwinski (4/5): Disappointing - I was impressed that upon my arrival when my room was unsatisfactory I was moved. Darius also provided me with a free night due to my trouble Upon arrival my room was not up to standard. there was no toliet paper or cups in the room which i was given a hard time about needing. My tv did not work at all. I was told it would be replaced which it was not. I ultimately switched rooms but that room's tv also did not work 100% it was spotty and limited channels at best. I was told the room was only cleaned every 2 weeks and towels and linens would only be provided at an additional cost.
- Patrick (8/5): Very good -
- Cesalee (6/5): - It took me almost 40 minutes to get into my room. The host was kind and i felt bad for her but i didnt get keys to my room until a few hours after i arrived. I never left my room for fear of being locked out. She let me in w her key, and it tokk altogether 5 times before the keys would work.
- Kayley (5/5): Passable - good location and was pretty clean with fun staff. hotel was overbooked and situation was handled poorly. was on the phone with customer service for majority of my stay.
- Michael (2/5): Terribly poor - Very little No coffee in lobby or room had to leave building to get some elevator out one day. No garbage container on upper floors had to go outside no dish towels or any kind of cooking equipment sign said they could be purchased but they had none. I stayed at extended stay and it was 16.00 cheaper per night and they had all the things missing from you and they also had muffins every day
- Jesse (8/5): - Smells bad in the hall ways
- Sofia (1/5): Bad -
