First there was no toilet brush and I always like to brush the bowl after using. Second, I had travelled from abroad with only hand luggage, there was shower gel available, but a small tube of toothpaste would have been nice.

The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom well appointed. The breakfast was a bit basic, and the tube running directly under the venue was a bit disturbing late night and early morning.

• Jeanette (6/5): - Badrummet såg nyrenoverat ut och var väldigt fint. Personalen mycket tillmötesgående. Öl leverans kl 06:30 på morgonen utanför fönstret. Stora öltunnor som slängdes av en lastbil och rullades in i puben. Omöjligt att somna om efter det. Också stor vattenfläck på mattan när man kom in i rummet, det kändes inte fräscht.

• Kristin (6/5): Rent og fint, men for mye som trekker ned helhetsinntrykket - Rommet og badet var rent og fint. Vannkoker med kaffe og te, en liten safe og toalettartikler. Tv på rommet med litt varierende sendeforhold. De aller fleste av personalet var hyggelige og oppmerksomme, ingen ting å utsette på dem. Ligger sentralt i Tottenham Court Road med noen minutter til T-banestasjonen i Goodge Street. Også noen minutters gåtur til Charlotte Street, med mange gode restauranter. Kort gåtur (eller t-bane) ned til Oxford Street og Soho. Vi var selvsagt klar over at det var en pub i etasjen under, men var ikke forberedt på at de også prøvde å leve opp til å være et diskotek mesteparten av døgnet. Musikken sto på fullt både sent og tidlig, så det var umulig å sitte der og føre en normal samtale. Jeg kan for så vidt forstå at det spilles høy musikk på kveldene, men til frokosten??? Vi ble også vekket grytidlig søndag morgen da frokostpersonalet kom på jobb og skrudde musikken på fullt både inne og i høyttalerne utendørs (det vil si rett under vinduet vårt). Vi ba flere ganger om at musikken måtte skrus ned, men det er ubehagelig å måtte gjøre det gang etter gang. Til og med da fotballkampene ble vist i puben var det til full discomusikk. Frokosten starter ikke før 07.30, noe som gjorde at vi mistet to av fire på grunn av at vi skulle tidlig av gårde. Vær oppmerksom på at det er en spesiell frokostmeny der du kan velge mellom 4-5 forskjellige retter. Det er ikke inkludert annen drikke enn en kopp te eller kaffe, så det måtte vi betale ekstra for. Jeg synes det er veldig spesielt og unødvendig. I den inkluderte frokosten var det alt slags tilbehør, blant annet sopp. Men da jeg ba om en enklere frokost med bare eggerøre, toast og sopp så måtte jeg betale ekstra for soppen. Jeg ser at noen klager på støy fra T-banen som går under bygget. Det merket vi veldig lite til. Det er en del støy fra gaten, men det plaget oss ikke spesielt mye.
• John (9/5): I’d definitely stay there again. - The location was great, just a short walk from Euston and to Theatre land. The staff were efficient and very friendly. Breakfast was good. Nothing in particular, it wasn’t even too noisy considering the location.
• Simon (8/5): Very useful little hotel above pub in central London - Very useful little find in central London, excellent location on Tottenham Court Road, not far from Euston. Comfortable, lively pub, with well-appointed rooms above. Simple, clean, everything I needed. Good bathroom and shower. Basic breakfast downstairs in the pub included in the room rate, suited me fine. Breakfast choice could be a bit broader, and shower could be a bit stronger and heavier, but overall good.

• Martin (10/5): Fabulous, will book again. - Perfect location for the theatres and Euston Station. Friendly pub and rooms, beautifully decorated inside and out, kept clean and tidy. Lady who booked us in, and then served breakfast following morning was really welcoming and friendly. Super comfy sleep, quiet location considering - we didn’t hear a thing and had a really good sleep. Breakfast was excellent with the most perfectly cooked free range poached eggs! Nothing negative to say.

The room was on the first floor, immediately above the pub which is dedicated to TV sports, and so very noisy all evening. After that there seems to be a lot of overnight cleaning. Very noisy at times. Nice enough hotel, but not four stars.

• Rocio (8/5): - El personal del hotel muy amable. El desayuno aceptable. La ubicación era perfecta. El sitio es original. El baño no tenía ventana y olía mucho a humedad, no estaba limpio del todo. El metro pasa justo por debajo y se escucha, además de la gente en el pub. Lo peor de todo es la cama, colchón viejo y sucio, muy deteriorado, se hundía mucho por el centro y se descansa mal.

B’fast was ok but limited choice . Bed was comfy. Sink had poor drainage and no blind/cover for bathroom window so not good when light on at night. Dressing table/desk was very dusty . Lots of noise of ? chairs / furniture moved around late at night . Overall bit overpriced

Also there was a smell coming from the kitchen getting in the bathroom and it was very unpleasant. I'm very surprised by the rating of this place on booking. It definitely feels more like a pub with a couple of rooms. Won't come back.

• David (6/5): Not necessarily a bad place, it was just not my type of place. - The room was a good size is a great location. It might be my preference, but when we arrived at the check-in, the process really did take a long time and telling us to step forward, while said with humour, isn't really my type of service. We were already late for a booking that we indicated, but it took at least 20 mins. The room had a walk in wardrobe, but I put nothing in it as it was an overwhelming smell of damp!
• Taylor (8/5): Lovely room, lovely food, be aware of hearing night trains. - The room was very nice and just enough room for our 1 night stay. A decent sized wardrobe, kettle with tea/coffee, a desk to work from and a TV. The TV signal was very hit and miss however. The shower was very generous in size. Breakfast was lovely. I had the continental which was a very generous portion (yoghurt, fruit, 2 slices of toast with jam, cereal and a glass of juice), my partner had the cooked breakfast and we thought that was a good portion too (1 sausage, 2 bacon, 2 eggs of your choosing, beans, mushrooms and toast). The pub had a private event on which was fine and booking above the pub we expected some noise. What we didn't expect was the noise to carry on until 2am as well as hearing the night trains under the building all night. We were assured the event would finish at 12:30am but it went on past that.
• Diane (9/5): Can’t wait to return - The staff were amazing went over and beyond to be helpful. Spotlessly clean bed was so comfy breakfast was delicious. The location is ideal The stairs up to the room were a bit steep. The room could be a little noisy but this did not bother us and didn’t stop us sleeping . Next time I might just take some earplugs this will not stop us returning to this property as it was fantastic.

• Olga (3/5): I don't recommend this stay and it does not deserve a 4 star! - The bed was comfortable and breakfast was ok, even though I would have liked having more choices It is not very advertised that it is not a standard hotel. You need to check in in a bar, and when I arrived there was a private event with lots of people watching football and it was an absolute mess! Security in the hotel was neglegible with lockers in the rooms that were standard room keys. The bathroom was absolutely freezing and I could not shower because it was too cold to! When I check out I left the luggage there to be kept and was just kept behind the bar! There was no hall or place to stay really after checking out and the night was quite noisy between the football match and the tube which you could hear from the room!
• William (8/5): Quirky Towers - Great staff. Central position for public transport and theatres. Staff gave excellent service and treated you as a person. Quirky establishment. Constant sound and vibration from underground from 6a.m. until 29 minutes past midnight. Ordered scrambled eggs, served dry fried egg cut into pieces. Staff had to instruct cook how to mix proper ingredients and how to beat the eggs.

• Margaret (8/5): Comfortable stay in a great location! - A warm and informative welcome on arrival. A complimentary drink offered, as we arrived a little before check in time. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was satisfactory. Would have liked the option of juice, and a pot of tea rather than a cup would have been great. Staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay. Fabulous location! Short walk soon gets you to Covent Garden, Regent and Oxford Street. Would definitely stay again.

• Hana (8/5): Skvělá lokalita i pokoj - Lokalita perfektní. Pokoj byl dostatečně velký na jednu až tři noci pro jednotlivce/pár a měl funkční topení. Postel byla pohodlná, koupelna větší, než jsme čekali, včetně kvalitní kosmetiky. Možnost uložení zavazadel. Jeden z ručníků vyloženě nevoněl, a tedy jsme ho nepoužili. Ocenili bychom více informací ze strany personálu, protože jsme se vše dozvídali hodně za pochodu, nebo se někoho museli ptát. Snídaně byla celkově ok, ale u anglické snídaně se houby nedaly jíst - jako kdyby byly zkažené. Za tyto nedostatky jsem snížila hodnocení na 8, ale řekla bych, že má místo navíc.

• Trudy (8/5): We hebben het heerlijk gehad. Ook lekker gegeten bij de Aziatische restaurants in de buurt. - Het sfeervolle hotel ligt midden in Londen en je bent te voet zo bij een metrostation. Onze 2 persoons kamer was niet zo groot, maar wel gezellig en netjes en een prima bed. Beneden heerste de gezelligheid van de pub. Geen last gehad van het geluid. Aardig personeel en je kon altijd weer naar binnen. Wat ik al had gelezen, als je een verblijf met ontbijt hebt geboekt, het ontbijt is te doen, maar het is niet zoals je je een Engels ontbijt voorstelt. Je kunt wel van allerlei lekkers er bij bestellen, maar dan moet je extra betalen.

Meget lydt mellem gangen til værelserne, kunne høre når der kom gæster (døre smækker, nøgle til døren der låser op)

• David (10/5): Fantastique expérience immersive! - Le personnel est fantastique, aux petits soins. La chambre est spacieuse, confortable et calme; Le fait d'être au dessus d'un pub permet de vivre en immersion totale au petit-déjeuner (au top!). On a adoré le fait de pouvoir profiter des prestations (boisson ou plats) du pub à notre arrivée et en soirée. L'hôtel est très bien situé, on peut faire beaucoup de visite à pied sinon, 2 stations de métro toutes proches permettent d'accéder aux lignes de métro. Le pub a gardé nos valises pour la dernière journée. Une superbe expérience! Pas de suggestion à mon niveau

• Gillian (10/5): A perfect stay in a quirky pub hotel - It had a welcoming feel with an unusual decor throughout. The bedrooms had a romantic and indulgent feel and even the hallways were beautiful. The bed/bedding was so comfortable. The shower room was modern and fresh. The pub downstairs was friendly and when we came in at 11am was quiet. The dray man at 7am but it was a Monday morning after a busy weekend!

The bed was super comfortable and the owner and staff were all super friendly. Location is also very good and we would highly recommend this hotel. Thank you Jenny for a great weekend. A good choice for breakfast. The water pressure on the shower was a little low although, it was very warm. I had poached eggs on toast for breakfast and I could taste the vinegar from the eggs!

• Stefan (5/5): Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt schon OK, aber nichts besonderes. - Gute Lage, zwischen dem Eurostar-Bahnhof St. Pancras und dem British Museum, viele interessante Orte und Viertel sowie öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind schnell zu erreichen. Badezimmer frisch renoviert, allerdings mit etwas unenthusiastischer Klospülung. Funktioniert aber alles. Viele Spiegel überall bewahren einen vermutlich vor schlimmeren Design-Entscheidungen, und simulieren Größe. Das ganze ist ein für kontinentale Verhältnisse grotesk überdekorierter (Plastikblumen überall!!) Pub, in dem ununterbrochen Sportfernsehen läuft. Auch beim Frühstück. Beim Frühstück ist die Auswahl durch die Speisekarte eingeschränkt: Kombinationen gibt es nicht - schade. Seltsamer Geruch im Treppenhaus (kommt vermutlich vom Abfalleimer hinterm Tresen).
