Guest Reviews
- LAWRENCE (9/5): -
- Ashley (6/5): Good for the money - Location was great since I was taking a mini beach staycation, liked the parking under the rooms, and the shower had nice pressure. The room was clean and there were plenty of towels The mattress was very uncomfortable. That was the major dislike.
Some minor inconveniences: Charging $15/day per dog when there isn’t even a designated pet area for them to use the bathroom. My dog is tiny and goes quick, so it wasn’t a huge deal.
The TV remote wasn’t hooked up to the tv. It was only hooked up to the cable box. I had to have the front desk come fix it because at first I couldn’t turn it on at all, but then later that night I realized I couldn’t shut it off either. I had to unplug it to sleep.

- Kiner (10/5): -
- Stanley (8/5): - That there were washer and dryer’s available for guest’s use.
- Lisa (9/5): Excellent - Close to the beach Nothing
- Lorida (3/5): Disappointing - Location. Close to the beaches! Covered parking. The mattresses in the room we had (#310) are so hard we could’ve been sleeping on the floor. The bathtub had a hole under, makes you think you could fall through it, the shower curtain has mold on it, the shower head looks disgusting because it’s green and black mildewed and moldy looking, corners of the bathroom floor look like dirt build up. BUGS in the room! They entered our room when we were out and the do not disturb sign was on the door..and then complained the next day to me when I went to get towels from the front desk that we shouldn’t use the sign and said housekeeping was upset because we moved the furniture. I explained we moved the bed against the wall so our 2 year old wouldn’t fall off the bed.. He said to me “that’s not our problem” .. Effort should be made to clean around the grounds, since there’s trash everywhere. We won’t stay again if you can’t tell.

Chambre spacieuse et très bien équipée Clim un peu bruyante.. (mais pas excessif par rapport a certain hôtel)

- Bruce (7/5): It was just what we needed for a last-minute previously unplanned short stay. - The room was clean. Multiple power outlets were provided. In general I prefer hotels with interior room access doors as opposed to motels with exterior room access doors.
- Cindy (5/5): -
- Heather (10/5): Just what we needed.. - Simple, Clean, No bad Smells, friendly staff. After a 12hr drive with a child, super fast check in. We were in bed, in no time. The people above me, bouncing a ball. Absolutely annoying and rude.
The beds weren't the best. But I slept decently.
- Cromley (8/5): Was good, 3rd time I stayed there. - Didn't know there was one. Room was damp.
- Jodi (6/5): - Close to the beach and good restaurant Bed and pillows very uncomfortable for the price. Neighbors were yelling late at night
- Suzanne (10/5): -
- Heffernan (5/5): place needed more people cleaning. and a musty smell - The shower was decent a towels and sheets aren't super clean. and the heater and AC didn't work..
- Tawni (7/5): - Convenient spot, nice staff. The beds were not comfortable at all.
- Mells (10/5): - Respectful staff and cleanliness Nothing
- ANDREA (8/5): -
- JEFF (8/5): -
- Mitchell (8/5): Decent for a one night stay. - Big room, free parking. No carpet on floor, couldn’t take a bath due no drain plug, not able to logon to internet.
- Marcin (9/5): -
- Teresa (8/5): - Nice big room, plenty of hot water, bathroom clean Floor needed mopping, needed extra blanket available, temp was cold outside, heat register was noisy when it ran
- Hannah (9/5): Perfect for a short trip! - Great location, HUGE room that was very clean! Had a really well sized fridge/freezer and lots of storage options if that’s something you’d need This is so particular, but the floors were so cold! Would recommend bringing extra socks or slippers, but it truly didn’t impact my stay :)
- sarah (8/5): - The room was clean, staff was friendly. Beds and pillows were uncomfortable. Noise from the road was sometimes loud. Next time I’d ask for a room not facing the road.
- VanHoose (10/5): -
- Martin (3/5): Management should clean out the mold from the ventilation and it will be a good value. - Place was basic for a basic price - ok The smell of mold in the room made it someplace I wouldnt stay again. Ive tried to go cheap several times recently and its always a moldy smell that makes it not worth doing. I left and went to a $200 plus a night place to guaranty no mold.
Its too bad cause you can tell a lot of work went into making the room appear ok - but smelling mold all night is just too much.
- Patricia (9/5): - Clean

- KARLEN (2/5): Won't stay there again or recommend. - The location was convenient The bed linens were dirty. I mean dirty. Stained. black grit was between the sheets. Clearly hadn't been changed after previous guest. I had to share the other double bed as I was afraid to sleep in the dirty one. The elevator was dirty and smelled like urine. I took the stairs instead. The room was in major need of repairs.
The next morning, we tried to complain at the office but it was open yet. Sign said 8am. We were there at 8:08AM. Rang bell, no response. Poor service.
- Karen (10/5): - They allowed me to have my dog with me. Nothing
- William (8/5): Pleasant - Spacious rooms with nice remodeling Air conditioner a little loud

- John (10/5): - If you are traveling with a pet(s) and going through Englewood Florida, this is the place to spend the night. We had a double queen bed room and it was more spacious than a lot of mini-suite rooms, and updated as well as clean. With two nice restaurants within 50 yards and a Dunkin down the road for an early coffee, this is once again truly the place to spend the night.
- Roberto (10/5): -
- Emily (7/5): Decent for one night - The bed was comfortable. The floors and bathroom were clean. There was no trash can in the bathroom or vanity area. Soap is face/body soap so it was extremely small. There was a dirty towel left on the back of the toilet from the previous guest
- John (10/5): - For a last minute get-away, this worked for our purposes perfectly!
- Robert (8/5): - Ok place, needs Needs some serious updates
- jessica (7/5): Decent for price - The room was very big. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room. The pillows were awful. 2 different types, one was rock hard and one was soft but flat. Definitely bring your own pillows. The blankets weren’t the best either.
- Richard (8/5): Pet friendly hotel with potential. - Location is good, close to stores and beach and a nice restaurant. Road noise came into the room. Room was clean but needed some updates. Beds were too firm.
- Kristi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrea (9/5): Superb - It's very convenient and clean price is very accommodating for a quick weekend trip. Was very clean. We left for the day and my husband had left a beer is in koozy from the night before on the microwave, well house keeping threw it away, which they should pay more attention, we collect them from our trips and unfortunately that was one from one of our recent trips. Also if we don't ask to clean the room you really shouldn't . Also the beds are absolutely awful nothing but spring's .
- Amy (7/5): Clean linens, good size rooms - Close to Manasota Key. Large room. Bed linens were clean. Quiet. For the price, the property was nice. Nothing to knock your socks off, just a typical inn, but room was clean and good size.
- Lisa (7/5): Good - The size of the room and location to the beaches Need new mattress
- Joseph (10/5): - Nice property helpful staff clean quiet room at a fantastic value
- Joanne (10/5): - Everyone is very nice. Room was excellent & Clean.
- Gaskins (8/5): Very good - The room was really nice The pool was being upgraded
- Crowder (9/5): Great place to stay in Englewood Florida - Friendly staff, easy check in. Happy to provide everything needed.
Daily room cleaning, and clean towels.
Free parking under the building, out of the weather.
Updated rooms, very clean and large. Quiet and felt safe.
Location was perfect for getting around the area, even going to the beach. The beds were ok, but just a bit uncomfortable for my back. My friend said her bed felt great to her.
Other than that, the 3 nights we spent here were great.
- Brett (7/5): Good -
- Chilcutt (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dawn (8/5): Very good - Clean
- Trudy G (6/5): - needs repair, walls have holes in sheetrock
- William (4/5): - This place was very old and tired. The room was in poor shape and is due for a make over. The front desk staff was good. Way too expensive for what you get.
- Valerie (9/5): Superb - Location was great. Clean room. Bed a little uncomfortable, could use a pillow topper on it.
- Evelyn (10/5): We love it there - Very nice place
- Eileen (2/5): - Misrepresentation of property. There is smoking on the property. Did not feel safe shirtless men drinking and smoking outside the rooms withsmoke inside the room. GPS coordinates wrong. Google maps took me to a state park. Old pictures. Go to motel across from McDonald's. Cute, clean, quaint
- James (1/5): Wouldn't recommend - The sleep The staff said I only booked one room. So I booked a second room. Later that night, I received a phone call that I didn't check in for my booked three rooms. After I had already been there the whole day.
- Roni (6/5): - You get what you pay for and for the money it was ok. The room itself was pretty beat up. Fridge was damage but worked somewhat. Towel racks pulled off the wall. Fairly clean tho. Looked like renovations are being done. Pool was beautiful and clean. For the cost and location, I would stay again.
- Daniel (6/5): Pleasant -
- Elizabeth (10/5): - This hotel was a surprise...for an older hotel it is very well kept and clean. Loved our stay.
- Sheryl (6/5): - The property was convenient to family so that is why we chose it. The room on the backside of the hotel was quiet. The floor was dirty, the mirror was not cleaned, the tub liner was bubbly and difficult to move on when using the shower, the frig and microwave was plugged into a surge connector hanging from the wall. The underneath parking was difficult because the spaces were very narrow.
- Erica (6/5): Pleasant -
- Lara (1/5): Bad - It was a block from my destination The elevator stunk like 10 wet dogs lived in there. I picked up the remote and it stuck to my hand, the entire back side of the remote was white and sticky. The place was very old and unkept. The bed was uncomfortable. My room just had a view of the busy road. I paid $150 for a night in a disgusting room, I almost left and went back home.
- Susan (10/5): - Clean, very pleasant room with excellent restaurants across the street and next door.
- John (9/5): It was a nice clean motel. - It was close to where we were attending a wedding. The bed was awful! We both woke up with a backache
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Von (1/5): Bad -
- Jason (7/5): Good -
- Norma I (6/5): - Bed was uncomfortable and the room had a smell to it.
- Joselyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Deborah (10/5): Exceptional -
- john (10/5): - The front desk clerk was very hospitable. Took care our needd.
- dan (6/5): - Old place and needs to be cleaner
- Nancy (5/5): Motel accommodations on busy street - Location is good close by where family lives and not far from beach Traffic noise is incredibly loud, floor in room was not clean (if walk barefoot feet were visibly dirty), furniture needs repair. Had man peeking in window in the morning (rooms and windows open to an outdoor hallway).
- Victoria (8/5): - Very nice room for the price.
