• Christopher (10/5): - It's a very solid, slightly-above-average Japanese hotel. Rooms are compact but well appointed, ammenities are nice. It's a bit let-down by being overly-fussy, with the lounge area on the basement level being closed at 1am, even though it's the only area to congregate in the hotel. With no rooms on that level or the first floor, noise can't be an issue... They just don't want people to be able to sit down if their room is not an option (like needing to take an overseas work phone call when your partner is trying to sleep). Likewise, I understand that the baths must close at 1am for "cleaning," but I wish they were open later (or all night) like other premium hotel chains. All in all, it was a nice experience and I would stay there again, but I'd also look around to see if the other hotels in the same range/class were a bit less uptight.

The bathroom in my room was only a shower, but they have a shared bath in the lower level. Being directly between Odori Park and the Factory shopping center made the location immensely walkable!

• Marisa (10/5): Great Location in Sapporo - This was one of our favorite hotels in Japan. The room was very comfortable. Hotel is in a great location. Easy access to restaurants, shopping, and the metro. No bathtub. No coffee in the lobby. I think all hotels should offer coffee in the lobby. They have a cool “pillow bar” where you can pick your own pillow. After an awful, flat pillow in Tokyo, it was nice to be able to pick out a more supportive pillow for our 3 night stay. Hotel staff was helpful and it was a really nice stay.

• Sum (8/5): - Hotel rooms are generally small in Japan. However, this was slightly bigger than the room I had in Tokyo. I also like how the voltage and sockets work with American devices. The hotel has a public bath, where you bathe with other men. It was a first for me and I made a few mistakes in japanese bathing etiquette. I got some stares but nobody yelled at me. The hotel is about 8 minutes walk from Sapporo station. There is also an underground walkway, if the weather is bad. Sapporo is quite small, so most every place was within walking distance for me. It’s a also a very beautiful city with lovely parks.

• Takahito (8/5): - 大浴場があることから選びました。湯船も充分な広さがありリラックス出来る雰囲気になっているので観光で疲れた体を癒すことができました。 朝食付きにしたので1階にあるやよい亭が食事会場となっていましたが、パン派の私には選択肢が1つしかなくいろんな種類のパンが食べたかったなと少し残念です。 大通り駅も札幌駅も同じ位の距離感で行くことができ便利です。 次回札幌に行くことがあれば、また候補にあがるホテルだと思います。

• Akiko (10/5): - Great location. Walkable to go restaurant and shopping. I liked this hotel as a business trip. Only problem was the TV was setting right side of the bed. Little bit difficult to watch.
• Kira (10/5): clean and convenient! - Hotel rooms were pretty normal. I like the set up of the bathroom "nook" with separate doors for the toilet and shower.Only thing I found weird was how firm the pillows were. There's an interesting section on the main floor where you can customize your pillows, but for some reason by the time I would go to try to get a softer pillow, all the options were taken. The amenities are super nice though, there's a lounge area with a small library of books, tables with seating or soft casual seating available. Low lights and the smell of the spa on that level give it a relaxing vibe. There's coin laundry and vending machine on that floor as well. Spa area itself is nice and relaxing. To foreigners, tattoos are not permitted in the spa area. The hotel has its own area for parking. There is another JR Inn Sapporo a few blocks away, do not get them confused. This one is Sapporo SOUTH!! The restaurant attached was super yummy and convenient. Order your food on the ticket machines in the evening hours. I recommend the gyudon! In the morning you can buy a breakfast coupon at the front desk, the restaurant has around 4 sets you can choose from, one western style breakfast and three traditional breakfast. The portion sizes are perfect no matter what set you choose. Unlimited hot and iced coffee, water, juice provided. Food itself was alright but cannot complain for 1000¥ and convenience. Great location, few minutes away from the Clock tower and the TV tower, as well as the shopping mall.

• kkJ2200JJ (6/5): No Outing Luggage Courier Service - Second time staying in this hotel. The hotel is probably full this time, can see the front desk staffs are exhausted during peak check in hours. Need to walk few minutes on the street before one can go down to the understand ground arcade which takes you to train/subway stations and various shops, department stores, restaurants. Room is quite small and difficult to open two 28" suitcases at the same time. The worst part of this hotel is they will not handle the luggage courier delivery for you They will accept incoming luggages delivered by couriers days before you arrive and check into the hotel, but will not call up the couriers to send you luggages to your next destination. So need to take those 28" or 30" suitcase to the courier office which is several minutes walk from the hotel by yourself. This wont pose a problem if the weather is good (not snowing and no icy street). . But walking with heavy luggages in Dec or Jan is risky .
• Ilhae (10/5): - Conveniently close from Sapporo Station, and walking distance to nearby attractions. Nice amenities in the hotel and friendly staff.
• Yuko (10/5): - The property was a little further from the station than I thought. Initially when we checked into the hotel, there were hair on the desk as well as in the shower. The room was cozy enough for 2 people. The shower in the roomis not good. You have to open the shower every couple minutes to let the steam out or you’ll have a hard time breathing. It wasn’t a problem for me because I used the public hot bath on the basement floor but it was challenging for my son who didn’t want to use the public bath. The laundry room has 3 washer/dryer with automatic detergent so you don’t have to bring your own. At night, the washer/dryer is busy so I used it early morning. Overall, it’s was a 3 star experience but with the price, it’s satisfactory.

Bus circulaire Factory Line 88, un coin de rue de la gare, devant le magasin Tokyu vous amène au Musée de la bière très populaire..Visite historique très intéressante 'Sapporo Clock Tower'..

Walking to and from the hotel to train/subway station during winter time is not easy for seniors as the pedestrians path is very slippery. Laundry room is extremely busy. Will not arrange courier pick up of luggage to be delivered to your next destination. Need to carry those heavy suitcases to the courier office several minutes from the hotel. This may not be a problem in good weather but definitely a challenge during winter time. They do accept luggage to be sent to them by courier before you check in. Will consider other hotels in the neighborhood when visiting Sapporo in future

• Hoang (10/5): - Clean place, spacious and quiet room. Spa is a bonus. Buy breakfast directly at hotel or restaurant cheaper than Expedia addon
• Man Wai Nancy (10/5): - The hotel is great for the price. Great amenities, could choose 2nd. pillow. Washer and dryer available for a small cost. The breakfast is a good deal.
• Rino (10/5): - They provide kids amenities such as cute little slippers and tooth blush in bag and my daughter was pretty happy about it.
• Man Wai Nancy (10/5): - The staff team is very friendly and helpful. The facility is very convenient, close to Sapporo Subway Station. Walkable to Nijo Market, Tanukikoji Shopping Street, TV Tower, Sapporo Government Building etc. Lots of choices for restaurants. Close to shopping. We made a trip to Hakodate for 2 days, the hotel held our big luggage for free. We are very pleased with the service and highly recommend the hotel.
