L'extrême propreté des lieux et le côté un peu ancien de l'établissement qui lui donne un caractère particulier très agréable. Le petit déjeuner était délicieux. L'hôtel est situé à 10 minutes à pied de la plage et à deux pas d'un petit supermarché bio. Rien.

• Eileen (6/5): It met the brief as a cheap and comfortable overnight stay. - No breakfast available, according to the website. Constantly dripping tap in the bathroom and I wasn’t able to have a shower as the folding door was so stiff I couldn't manage to open it. Also the outside door to the hotel was extremely difficult to unlock - took me about 5 minutes!

Well placed for supermarket, chip shop and pub. Hotel bar was lively and friendly. Rooms over the bar area are noisy during opening hours (staff were happy to find me a quiet room on request as there were few (no?) other guests). Internet connection was better on the landings than in the rooms (but was adequate).

• Susan (10/5): Corner Hotel... Fantastic - Only one night stay but we'd return. This room was amazing, so clean just right, very comfortable bed! This cost less money than one the one we stayed at in Arbroath, yes was so much better! So glad we found it. 5 minutes walk from train station which is perfect too Nothing, everything was great

• Joachim (8/5): schönes, traditionelles Hotel. - Traditionelles, kleineres Hotel. Gute Küche und Pub direkt im gleichen Gebäude. Trotz Musik im Pub, war kaum Lärm in den Zimmern darüber zu hören. Freundliches Personal und unkomplizierte Abwicklung. Hotel liegt an der Straße, die man in den Zimmern hört.

Staff were great and the banter was grand. For the price it was a great base for the golf Rooms were a little tired, especially the bathroom but with a little bit of work this could be really improved upon.

• katrina (10/5): Would stay again. - The rooms are spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable, under floor heating in the toilet which had a bath and a shower. Tea coffee and biscuits were complimentary. Breakfast wasn't great, small sausages, bacon very fatty and a bit undercooked.

Megen larm, råben og musik til over midnat. På en ganske almindelig tirsdag aften. Desuden utrolig meget trafik larm på vejen lige uden for vinduet - til sent på aftenen og start tidligt næste morgen.

• David (3/5): Séjour déplorable - Le fait d'avoir une salle d'eau,un sèche cheveux, une bouilloire Accueil tres froid . Lit inconfortable. Prises de courant non accessibles (derrière TV, le lit) Le parking dégueulasse avec des détritus partout. Nous étions chambre 5, pas de WIFI ,pourtant proposée,la chambre est située au-dessus du Pub ,chaque soir il y a de la musique ok nous avons fait avec mais le samedi soir là c'est discothèque ! Musique à fond ,clients qui hurlent et vibrations dans toute la chambre. Nous avons demandé à avoir du calme et bien non rien à changé. Donc à fuir ! Je précise que j'attends toujours le contact avec @Booking ,cette plate-forme n'est vraiment pas sérieuse !

• Cavin1 (10/5): An Amazing Time - My family and I were staying in Carnoustie for a long weekend and we booked here for a large dinner. I was apprehensive because we have a very large family - 10 adults and 7 kids. The Corner Hotel was one of the few places that offered to accommodate us. They had us pre order in advance and prepared a lovely room for the group. The meal was seamless and the food was excellent. The desert portions were Herculean and the waitress was so kind and accommodating. I would highly recommend the Corner Hotel for excellent pints and really great service and food.

• Craig (9/5): The price paid was excellent for the room and fitted all our requirements for 2 nights stay - Breakfast was very good. You had to place the order the night before, but was easy to do and simple tick boxes. Then you just turned up at breakfast at your designated time and it was all ready for you. Not a critism but if first time visiting, due to configuration of the hotel was a bit haphazard in locating where reception was (but staff were excellent and directed you to the correct areas if directions were required)

• Bernhard (6/5): OK für den Preis - Es war alles sauber. Für den Preis OK Die Zimmer sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Das Parken hinter dem Hotel (mit Code und Schranken) ist problemlos allerdings waren bei uns im Hinterhof ein paar betrunkene Typen, die in der Hotelbar die ganze Nacht getrunken haben. Das ist ungut und man hat kein gutes Gefühl am Parkplatz.

Nearby takeaways were very close too Breakfast 🥞🍳 ☕ was good and value for money. The bar staff was by and large one person on duty covering the bar and the restaurant so service was very slow 😞
