Guest Reviews
- Wayne (4/5): Looks nice and welcoming but overall very disappointing - It's an attractive well appointed property in the public areas. The bedrooms were very simply furnished
Listing said breakfast was included but only 4 items on the menu were actually offered for free everything else was additional
Only place I've ever stayed where coffee wasnt included in the breakfast. No juice available either only water was included. You could order a coffee if you paid an additional 130 pesos each.
No one enjoyed the free breakfast offerings so we just ordered grab the following 2 days.
No fridge or kettle with coffee making facilities. No toiletries in the bathroom. All very disappointing given the price wannt particularly cheap
The rooms weren't cleaned during our stay either. This was also surprising as well as disappointing because there was a do not disturb sign on our door knob.
The mattresses were also very thin and one pillow was too thick and hard the other was too soft.
I really feel this property should be doing much better for it's guests too provide a more enjoyable and value for money stay.

- Emma (8/5): - Airconditioner was not cold enough, and the unit was noisy due to some kind of clicking sound. We didn't even have glasses for drinking and using in the bathroom. Basic beverages like coffee or tea should at least be included in the breakfast deal.
- Evelyn (4/5): Not good - Near the Seaport or pier No proper amenities
- Noralyn (8/5): - Close to the venue of the event we attended.
Rien
- jose (10/5): excellent - awesome staff.., friendly and courteous.. excellent location.. food/ restaurant is close to the hotel.. as well laundromat is close!!! highly recommended.. price wise acceptable !!!!👍👍👍👍👍 nothing negative

- Oderfla Yoma (10/5): Affordable and comfy! - Very close to pier, great value for money with the free breakfast

- Leonida (6/5): - the included bf food option is so so, toiletries is next to none, only a tiny bar soap, no daily housekeeping. not much necessities in the room, blanket is too thin, this inn basically has the same price of the previous one i stayed but the latter was way better in providing comfort and convenience to guests such as satiafactory bf choices, water heater for coffee or tea
- Nikki (5/5): Overpriced for what was provided. - Handy to airport Upstairs to room, hard with luggage.
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Alvar (7/5): Generally good. It feels like you are home. - The hotel is in a good location. There are restaurants near the hotel as well ,if you want to dine out. Not too far from Panglao where the good beach resorts are located. The only problem is the internet connections. You cannot access their WiFi inside the room, you need to go outside to be able to get a signal.
- Joan (8/5): Peaceful stay in a convenient location. - Conveniently located close to the harbour. Hidden away behind another house so nice and quiet with no traffic noise. Rooms are spacious.
- Hoe (10/5): Enjoyed our 3 day stay. Easy to commute from and inexpensive to get downtown. A little restaurant down the street served - Recommend this to any couple.
Great breakfast, smiling and joyful staff.
Very quiet and peaceful. Walking distance from seaport.
Beautiful cafe area on top of building overlooking the ocean.
- Co'frt (7/5): Good - Classic room spacious tidy and clean Bad wifi in the room
- Valentin (8/5): Very good -
- Zachariah (8/5): Very good -
- AlyssaCaddick (8/5): Very nice place, would recommend! - The place itself is pretty, the rooms are somewhat basic but still very nice and the shower has hot water. The staff were great with us and made sure we had everything we needed, even let us check in early free of charge. Breakfast included was also very tasty.
We only noted there are some mosquitos (although staff offered us citrus oil which helped, and they had clearly sprayed before our stay to mitigate this,) and wi-fi signal was very weak, we stayed on the ground floor. Hotels.com also said breakfast included, it was 100 pesos off each which limited the options or meant we had to partly pay.
We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend as one of the more affordable places to stay in the area. For us it was well situated near pier, shops and there were lots of tours and bikes available to visit all the main touristy spots.
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Malchiel (2/5): Very poor - We were informed that breakfast would be available by 7am but in actual it wasn’t
Breakfast serving time is late
- Lisette (5/5): Handy for the port, we'll priced and very accommodating. - Very handy for the port and great price. Friendly helpful staff. Nice budget breakfast included at a lovely rooftop coffee shop overlooking the sea. Bed linen was tired.
- Ganith (2/5): Bad. - The receptionist services I highly appreciate. The room. There’s no light in bathroom. I had to use emergency light for it. The came to change it after one hour. And there’s don’t have an other utilities.
- Tobias (7/5): Good -
- Trisha (8/5): Very good -
- Keeley (5/5): Passable - Not super clean and our room didn’t lock from the outside so didn’t feel safe leaving any valuables in the room
- Arun (5/5): Passable - Cleanliness and size of the room Behaviour of kitchen staffs.Well ahead I asked to prepare our breakfast a bit early because of our flight time . But they didn't pay any heed. So we have to leave without breakfast. Moreover they even didn't say sorry for that. Breakfast is free as promised by them but it is poor and not at all upto the mark.
- David (7/5): Good - Garden All ok
- Joe (8/5): - Lovely building and great staff. Allowed us to drop off bags. Rooms were not the cleanest, especially the bathroom. Breakfast at the on site cafe included which was nice.
- Angelika (7/5): Value for money. Clean room and comfy bed. Accessible, near port. - I like the location since its near the port and establishments.
The room was clean.
They have a cafeteria on the top floor who serves affordable breakfast and brewed coffee. I ordered steamed milk though and it was so yum!
Water pressure is okey. The bed was comfy too. The aircon took around 1am to really cool our room. Perhaps, the unit was small for the spacious room or it was just because it was hot that day.
The management can check it out, just in case it needs maintenance.
- David (9/5): Value stay on Bohol Island - Lovely staff and very responsive
Great breakfast each day.
Cleaning was excellent. No lift but stairs not too bad.
- Fatima (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ramil (7/5): Good -
- Debie (8/5): Very good -
- Douglas (6/5): Pretty good. - Very good location by the ferry port. Chill spot nice garden and amazing latte at the coffee shop. It’s a bit overpriced at 1500 pesos a night. A more fair 1000 pesos would have made it fine.
- Georgia (9/5): Travelling between Cebu city and Tagbilaran this hotel Inn in the best place to stay. - Breakfast so appreciated not all hotel offered breakfast. No elevator but it's all good I was in first floor.
Location and surroundings clean and good far from karaoke noise.
- Angelika (8/5): Clean, reasonable price, accessible - Quiet and secluded since it is behind another residence but very accessible to commute, grocery, church, restos and the seaport. Clean as well. Water pressure is nice. None.
- Ian (8/5): A good place to stay. - Room 2, next to the lobby on the ground floor. Window with no view. Toilet paper bracket missing the spring loaded holder. Within walking distance from the ferry.
Large clean quiet room. Good wi-fi. Staff are very helpful, accommodating and friendly.
- Kyza (10/5): Exceptional -
- Esmenia (8/5): Very good - Staff are very helpful, pleasant attitude and clean facilities. None
- Zusy Mae (4/5): - I liked that you had easy access to tricycle. Did not like the smell of cat/dog feces outside the hotel, sheets and blankets were threadbare, towels were yellowish and rough, and shower had trickling water( staff couldn’t fix it, didn’t even offer another room or even a bucket and tabo to shower). If you have extra money to spare, go somewhere else.
- Shella (10/5): Exceptional -
- Garabed (7/5): Ok stay for short visit - Clean Old, especially the bathroom and issue with shower head and water temperature ,
- Hyung (6/5): Pleasant - Good location but old building.
- Alberte (9/5): Superb - Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and spacious room. Good location located very centrally. They allowed us to store our bagage in the reception as we were leaving late. Nothing, really:)
- Che-Yi (8/5): - Staff was helpful.Got a room without hot shower but got changed to another room immediately. The breakfast and coffee were both good.
- Neil (6/5): Pleasant -
- Marilyn (4/5): False advertisements of the accommodation - Location The advertised accommodation is not what it is in actual accommodation.
Staff have a good customer service.
Facilities are poor.
Towels are like rug that we ended up using our clothes to dry ourselves after taking shower
Beddings also need to be thrown away as it is also all worn out
- Joel (10/5): - Courteous, approachable, beautiful staff. Requests even the transport to and from hotel and another destination were accomodated without any hesitation. Quiet and good location. Perfect hotel for the price paid. Definitely recommendable.
- Dioliciano (7/5): The place is not too big but clean. My kids prepared to stay a place with pool. But for me and husband were happy to sta - Cleanliness and being quite None
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Ethel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bernd (7/5): Good - Good location, coffee is meanwhile included Dogs in the neighbourhood barking whole night.
Reception is only partially active.
Double bed 1.20 wide..... 😕
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Marites (10/5): Exceptional - All the staff members are very friendly
- Verified traveler (6/5): Clean room for stop-over - Clean room for stop over near Tagbilaran port. Including coffee shop for bfast.
- Santiago (4/5): Disappointing - Not satisfied Service
- Bacs (7/5): Good -
- Tita (5/5): Passable -
- Paul (1/5): AVOID - Day time réception was lovely Dirty sheets and matress.
Holes in sheets and matresses
No drinking water avaliable (we arrived at 11pm and could not get water until 8am the next day)
Night time staff rude and unhelpful
"Breakfast included " is Rice and water everything else is surcharge
- Paul (2/5): Very poor -
- Valius (8/5): Very good - I stayed for one night. Everything was okay. Just a little unhappy moment. The neighbour dog was barking too much. It was annoying in the early morning.
- Teresa (8/5): Very good - Location is really convenient if you arrive by Ferry, it is 10 min walking to the port. The hotel is nice. The room was comfortable, we had a small balcony and the bathroom was clean, had warm water and the staff was very friendly. Although we booked the room with breakfast included, it covered only up to 200php per person so we had to pay extra to have coffee and something to eat.
- David (10/5): Lovely place for a visit to Bohol - The staff was great. We truly loved our stay here
- Tina (8/5): Very good -
- Maria (8/5): Very good -
- Joyce (7/5): Close to the Pier, good for 1 night traveler stay. - Close to the Pier . Staff waited for us because we arrived very late, that's really nice of them. It's just ok, they could improve this hotel because the location is very good. This need renovation for sure.
- Jovelyn (7/5): Good -
- Jane (5/5): Good - Place is near at the harbour, you can walk to the hotel.place is nice. Breakfast is inclusive for only 100 pesos per person, the rest you have to pay.
- Toshiya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Quest04942660206 (2/5): Sad stay - No drnking watr provided n rooms and shud hve watr dspnser avlble.n lobby for guests to drink or for coffee..gud thng that person at front desk s helpful & accomodtng..wish they cud improve ammenities
- Keith (5/5): Passable - Smaller portion, coffee not included in the free breakfast Beddings too thin
Not comfortable when air conditioning is on
Bathroom sink does not drain well
- JD_Who6614 (8/5): Really enjoyed it - Hotel is very close to the port. We walked there after taking the ferry from Cebu. Our two twin beds were quite comfortable. Excellent hot water in the shower and lots of great foreign cable TV channels, including ESPN. Our booking included free breakfast for all menu items under 100 pesos. This meant choosing one of the multiple "silog" options. You can select others such as the American breakfast and then pay the difference. No free coffee is included. The young male working the coffee bar was insanely slow. It took him almost 30 minutes to make one pour over drip coffee. Yikes! No wifi in our room but it did work in the restaurant and hallways. The speed was decent. Front desk staff members Vanessa and Mary Ann were outstanding! Both were very helpful in answering questions and also supplying local activity suggestions. Vanessa made sure to provide hot water for our instant coffee each morning. Thank you Harbour Gardens team!
- Thomas (10/5): Nice little Filipino hotel - I was traveling Bohol on a motorcycle and they offered a secured gated parking area. There is a coffee shop up on the third floor that makes a great cup of coffee. The complimentary American breakfast was ok. Would definitely come back again.
- Dan (7/5): Good - Good location. Clean. Free breakfast. No internet in rooms on 2nd floor. No in room coffee, water, refrigerator.
Poor TV reception.
- Glenda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Monita (8/5): the stay is good except for the shower issue - very clean. nice staffs the water supply for the shower is very minimal and no pale to be used. staff responded very late.
no staff always at the front desk
- Nino (8/5): overall i had a great and comfortable stay with my family and would come back. - the place is beautiful and it has a nice small garden area where you can sit and relax. room is clean. There’s a coffee shop on site. Staff are so great. some pillows are not so comfortable and need to be changed. breakfast serving may not be enough for some and free coffee would be good if included.

- BoholWanderer2022 (8/5): Bohol Visit 2022 - Good place to stay. Friendly, hospitable and kind staff. Accessible to Mall, wharf station and outside resto. Its just that we have no wifi inside our room need to go out of the room to have signal. But the place and staff are good.
- Wsea3h (6/5): Basic and old - We booked the cheapest room which cost about 26 USD. The bed is very small for 2 persons. Room faces the front door and has a balcony. Room has aircon and hot shower. The garden is nice but with unfriendly notice "Keep off the grass". Several notice papers are in the room which gave me a feel of staying in an apartment with many rules. I'm ok with those rules and I follow strictly. Just that if you're sensitive to them, you might feel not comfortable. Breakfast was in the nice garden. They didn't ask what we wanted to order, just brought the sandwich and fried eggs. We saw other guests having rice and we actually prefer rice. But we ate ours anyway. A short walk from Tagbilaran Port. On the way there's a local eatery with ready cooked foods.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was very clean and homey. Staff was pleasant. Helpfull
