Definitely not for anyone with mobility issues, there were three short but relatively steep hills and a lot of stairs from the beach to my room which was an ocean suite

• Christian Villareal (10/5): Peaceful family getaway - The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast especially the panncakes were my kids favorite. The rooms were super clean and the whole place was very peaceful. Perfect getaway if you prefer to be further away from the hectic crowded places. The airconditioner in both our rooms are just way too loud but you get used to them after a while. They might need maintainance or just switch to new ones. The tv in our room is a bit damaged where you can clearly see the line in the middle part of the screen. Luckily we were only in our rooms at night so no big deal. The drain in both showers gets clogged very easily after showering for less than 2 minutes. We've been to lots of other places too and none of them are perfect so these are only tiny things to pin point that didn't affect our wonderful stay.

• Stuart (6/5): Nice enough - but better options available. - Spacious apartment with nice pool area. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast has some good choices and was very nice - although if you wanted extra it was payable. The picture suggest the apartments overlook the beach but they do not. They are up a steep hill about and as result not near the beach which is about 5-10 mins walk away. Diniwid beach is very nice with 2 good restaurants, but other than that, very little around the property so transport or walking is a must if you want to eat anythng after breakfast.

Merta ei näkynyt parvekkeelta kovinkaan hyvin koska puut peittivät suurimman osan näkymästä. Naapurit olivat äänekkäitä pitkälle iltaan. Suihkusta ja tuli joko kylmää tai, polttavan kuumaa vettä. Rakennus sijaitsee mäen päällä joten se tietää kiipeämistä ja laskeutumista jyrkkää mäkeä pitkin. Tämä ei haitannut meitä, mutta voi olla huonojalkaisille hankala paikka.

• David (6/5): We don't regret our stay but it's not the place we'll be back to in a future visit to Boracay - The views can compensate the negatives. It is absolutely stunning. If you ask me if i recommend booking Amor Boracay i'd say yes for 1 night but definitely not for several days. In general, the staff were kind, but they do look stressed out. The room is clean. AC works very well. Internet quality is fairly poor. We didn't have any issues with bugs. We did see some really big head geckos, but they were just minding their own business, nothing to worry about. We stayed 1 night and had another 4 night booked which we canceled because we didn't see ourselves able to stay 4 nights in a row. We went to The Strand Resort, nearby, and it was the best quality/price we have found in Boracay. We kept adding nights to our stay there, on on a total of 9 nights. We then booked one more night in Amor Boracay before out departure from the island so we could finish our photography ideas. Not much we liked, to be honest. It's definitely overpriced on the rate they give me of ~210USD/night in their 'best' room with sunset view and Jacuzzi. Rate is quite lower as of today, below 150USD/night. The view is stunning and a reason why the rating i choose is a positive 6/10. It's definitely a place to book 1 night and do some breathtaking photos if you find a day with little to no clouds. It's very very up the hill, but it's the price to pay if you want such views. You have quite a steep ramp before 3-4 floors upstairs, no lift. Older people and with any mobility issues aren't advised to book high up rooms. It's tough. You don't get much help with luggage so if you bring big bags you will have a stressful and painful time. There was a porter helping at check-in but he was nowhere to be found at check-out so i had to carry my luggage and my partner's all the way down, and even going down is hard with luggage so imagine going up. The breakfast was a complete mess during our stay and at times there are not enough tables for the guests. Many rooms available and about 8-10 breakfast tables. We had to wait 30min for a table for 2 and other people had to wait longer and some ate by the pool, sitting in low tables. The drinks are mediocre. They're unable to make any kind of coffee apart from Americano. They can take a while with the food if busy. We are definitely not coming back. It wasn't absolutely horrible like 1\10 rating but it's definitely not the place worth coming back unless you decide for a 1 night stay for photography. The most outrageous thing was their shuttle only bringing us to a very specific spot in the island. Our destination was 2min drive from where the shuttle drop us off, and he then told us to take an e-trike. When we got on the e-trike the driver asked where we was going and started laughing that the shuttle didn't bring us there as it was nearby.

• Ricardo (8/5): Affordable, quiet and tropical. - Very attentive and friendly staff, willing to accommodate your needs. Location is nice, away from the center of town. They provide transportation to the City Mall but then expect to pay an eTrike 250 pesos to get you to the heart of town, aka D Mall, then an eTrike back cost about 250 to 300 pesos. Had an awesome view of the sunset and ocean from our balcony. The complimentary breakfast was great. The price for my stay was very reasonable. V The bed was way too firm it was like sleeping on a carpeted floor. The unit does not have a microwave, but had a full kitchen. Had ants attack our snacks. The upper section was quite a hike /climb from the check in/breakfast area and pool. They charge 200 pesos for extra linen.

• Stephan (8/5): - Der eindrucksvolle Blick auf das Meer. Die Privatsphäre, die das Apartments ermöglicht. Man kann sich frei von Blicken bewegen, auch nackt, gerade in Bezug auf den Balkon liegenden Whirlpool. Der Charme des Amor Apartments. Das aufmerksame und freundliche Personal. Der Bereich der Rezeption mit dem direkt angeschlossenem Garten und dem Swimmingpool konnte überzeugen. Sehr gepflegt und sauber gehalten. Der Gartenbereich ist schön schattig gelegen, sodass man auch mal eine Auszeit von der erbarmungslos brennenden Sonne und Hitze nehmen kann. Leider ist das Amor Apartment ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Die Ausstattung, wie z.B die Küchzeile sind in einem desolaten Zustand. In der Dusche ist auch nicht mehr alles in Ordnung. Jeder der nicht gut zu Fuß ist und ein oberes Apartment hat, sollte gut zu Fuß sein und Kondition haben. Der Weg zu der Hotelanlage ist mühsam (starke Steigung) und zusätzlich erklimmt man über 80 Stufen(Amor Apartment).

• Jaime (10/5): Si no te gusta estar en el meollo turístico, este es el sitio - El personal muy atento y amable, sobre todo el guardia de noche está dispuesto a ayudarte incluso en cosas que no le corresponden. El tener un contacto de whatsap para poder hablar con ellos directamente es muy útil y te salva de muchos problemas. La habitación muy bien, limpia y con agua a disposición. La cocina le falta alguna cosa para cocinar (un colador, un cazo más pequeño, ...) aunque es comprensible porque no está pensado para que cocines todos los días. No hay ascensor para subir a las habitaciones y si te toca más de un segundo piso puede ser cansado ir a la habitación. El wifi no llegaba bien a la habitación y hubo un par de días directamente sin wifi. El desayuno se hace repetitivo bastante rápido, pero la calidad es muy buena.

• Helder (9/5): Serenidade na ilha de festa e diversão - Calma e serenidade. Excelente para quem não quiser ficar no burburinho da parte central da ilha. A paria perto é fantástica. Tem um bar incrível. O apartamento é espaçoso e caso pretenda cozinhar, tem o indispensável. O pequeno-almoço [café da manha] é pobre e pouco diversificado mas suficiente. Não é buffet.

Veldig god frokost. Beliggenheten var noe av det beste da man kom seg unna de store turistmengdene, men kort gåavstand til den desidert fineste stranden på Boracay Diniwid! Ville absolutt reist tilbake hit! Ut i fra bildene kan man få inntrykk av at man har sjøutsikt fra hotellet, det har man ikke, dette er forbeholdt egne rom etter bestilling.

• Indrek (7/5): I would recommend if you like good view, relax from station 2 and dont have health issues. - View was beautiful and also the bathtub was good place to cool down after hot day. You can sunbath on your balcony whole day if you like and then cool yourself on bathtub. You can use free transfer to Citymall or Diniwid beach from hotel. Also you can order free ride back from these places just buy calling reception via WhatsApp. If you stay on suite, drivers will bring you up to the hill so you have to climb only stairs, but thats not very hard (if you are healthy). Wifi connection was very good. We stayed in Honeymoon suite 02. Suite was little bit old with squeaky floors. Toilet clogged few times during 3-night stay. Breakfast wasn't really good, there is no buffet. You have only small selection to choose from. Had little bit confused. Our 3yr old daughter was aslo included in booking, but no free breakfast for her. We visited 2 other hotels during our stay in Boracay and the server our daughter also.

• Muriel (10/5): Een hele klim maar het uitzicht is prachtig - Prachtig uitzicht ,vriendelijk personeel De lokatie is erg hoog gelegen ,een hele klim om daar te komen. Vooraf is dat ons niet verteld. Mijn energie is door de vele chemo erg zwak ,koste heel veel moeite om op de kamer te komen.
• Adri07 (10/5): - I Like the appartement, it's nice, clean and has a free shuttle service from Apartment to city mall and to diniwid,it is quite distance between the apartment to station 2 need to pay 25pesos from city mall to Dmall and if you are from dmall then you need to pay 250 to go back in the apartment.The only thing is you need to be ready to climb up the hill. For us it was okay no problème because it was an exercise for us. If you have an elderly person with you then i would suggest not to choose the ocean suit or honeymoon suit.The staffs are friendly. The bed is quite noisy when you turn left or right. I HOPE they will put strong foundation.

Breakfast was tasty & we loved hanging at the pool. Everything was Great! Lots of stairs but I liked the exercise.

Great local feel when walking the streets, also just minutes from my favorite beach Diniwid Beach. A short ride to White Beach. Service was really good. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. Some of best views on the island. Great location.

• Glen (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely apartment, easy walk to beach. Used the free shuttle to nearest mall regularly. Around 150 to 250 pesos between the 4 of us to town centre. Lovely pool, very friendly staff, great breakfast. As others have said it's a bit of a slope to the apartments but if you're reasonably fit really not an issue. Otherwise use a cheap trike, always loads available. For us the location up the hill was a positive not a negative.

• Lajh1985 (10/5): Exceptional - Hotel has private transportation to beach and main road if transportation is not empty. Apartment is very nice and place is very quiet. Sari sari stores are everywhere around you. Closest shopping mall is like 10-15 minutes of walk.We had problems with water but lady on front desk brought repairmans quickly and they fix that problem in 2-3 hours. Should use waiter whom knows english and is communicative. Wifi is almost not existing but I expected that as Wifi in Philippines is very bad almost everywhere. I suggest to people to have they own data.

• Judith (4/5): Money not well spent. - The view was good. I like that it has a kitchen. The Wi-Fi connection was very poor, which was disappointing. While I understand the challenges of being in a mountainous area, a reliable internet connection is essential in this day and age for any hospitality establishment. Additionally, the breakfast provided was insufficient. Given the high rates, I expected more variety and generous portions. While the food quality was good, the quantity left much to be desired.

• Anonymous (8/5): Very good - Location and view just worth everything. The hotel itself on the high inside the forest. From the balcony you can see the whole white beach. Dinwidi beach just 10 minutes walk. Bathroom needs better lighting. Room is nice and big but needs a little bit refurb and entrance area needs a big mirror for see yourself before going out.
• Ildiko (9/5): Superb - We liked the location. It is in a quiet place, there is a beach very close, 5 minutes walk. City mall can be reached by walking. There are a lot of small shops with vegetables and fruits and fish and all on the way. There is free transport available also to the closest beach and City Mall. Breakfast is great. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was equipped, we cooked occasionally. The Jacuzzi on the terrace was just perfect under the stars. We had a partial sea view and view to the garden which we enjoyed. The internet was slow, sometimes it did not work. Other than that all was great 😃
• Carmen (8/5): - The property was great except there was a sewage smell that would come out of the bathroom sink. But the location was ideal when you need a break from the busy part of Boracay.
• Nadin (2/5): Very poor - I recommend NOT to book this hotel. It’s much much older than you see on photos. Not tasty breakfasts at all!!!! Far to everything. Around roosters that you hear all night and day. They put the first photo with panoramic view and it’s nice, but in reality it’s doesn’t cost its money. During the week I have never seen smb is swimming in a pool (because it’s not nice). Very noisy air-conditioners. In loft-room if you use it on a second floor, downstairs in a bedroom you hear a lot of noise from drops coming from the upper- floor device. And almost no Wi-Fi, only in balcony very poor signal, in room no signal at all!!
