ResortExpert (10/5): A charming and authentic boutique stay with beautiful design, great rooms, good food, and friendly - Albergo is a beautiful boutique hotel cozy, old, and authentic, yet at the same time vibrant and full of character. The location is excellent, with nice restaurants and bar, which adds to the overall experience. Check-in was very good, with pleasant and professional staff. One small opportunity for improvement would be a short introduction to the hotel facilities at arrival, which would enhance the first impression even more. It would also be lovely to see team members proactively greeting guests passing by elevators, as this would add an extra touch of warmth. Service in the restaurants and outlets was good and well organized. All team members were friendly and helpful; however, a genuine smile was generally missing across the team. The service is there, the professionalism is there adding more visible smiles would instantly elevate the guest experience and make it feel warmer and more welcoming. Breakfast was good and enjoyable. The room was fantastic a Junior Suite with beautiful old-style, rustic interior design. The bathroom was large, the bed very comfortable, and the overall space elegant and cozy. Using the old-style elevator is a charming experience and adds to the hotel’s unique character. The interior design: rooms, restaurants, bars, and rooftop is cozy, old, rustic, and authentic. The rooftop in particular feels intimate and timeless. Overall: A great hotel, absolutely deserving to be called luxury. Great staff, good food, and beautiful design. Nothing major just a lack of consistent smiles and proactive greetings from the team, and a brief introduction to the hotel facilities at check-in would have enhanced the experience.Given the small size of the hotel (30+ suites), remembering guests and greeting them by name would be easy to implement and would elevate service impact and guest satisfaction to another level. A quick courtesy call to the room after check-in to ensure everything is in order would further enhance the boutique experience and level of service.

Many lovely places around, beautiful architecture, unique rooms - this is definitely the best place to stay in in town. The rooftop offers nice food selection and a great chilled atmosphere by the pool. Christopher (10/5): A rare combination of historic elegance and genuinely heartfelt hospitality that makes you feel like family from the mom - Staying at the Albergo was an experience I’ll treasure for years to come. This iconic Beirut landmark is a living piece of the city’s rich history, and you feel that the moment you step through its doors. What struck me most was the genuine warmth of every staff member. From the first greeting, I felt less like a guest and more like someone returning home. The level of care was extraordinary: a handwritten welcome letter waiting in our room (when was the last time anyone received something so personal?), followed shortly by a thoughtful fruit basket delivered just as we were settling in. These felt like genuine acts of hospitality from people who truly care about making your stay special. And then there was the room itself—absolutely beautiful!! Every detail had been considered, creating a space that felt both elegant and comfortable. I left the Albergo not just satisfied, but moved by the experience. This is hospitality as it should be: attentive without being intrusive, luxurious without being cold, and above all, deeply human. I’m already looking forward to returning. Absolutely nothing!

Loud music until about 1130PM. It is unacceptable to charge for Nespresso capsules when the nightly rate is 500 USD. This is the first time I have encountered this.

Try Liza! It’s not very quiet because of the lobby bar, which is a terrace open on the rooms upstairs. And the elevator is beautiful old school but noisy if your room is close. And the restaurants have disappointing food offers, international, not so special. A good local chef would clearly make it better.
