Guest Reviews
- Cole (4/5): - Our room smelled like wet dog, are room keys didn't work and we had to get them replaced just for them to not work again. The sheets were visibly dirty there were flys in our room and the man helping us check in was incompetent
- Elizabeth (2/5): - I sent a review through the email sent. Just not a nice hotel for $217 a night.
- Jeffrey (4/5): - I do not think the hotel costs was justified for this type of hotel. The quality of the hotel was poor.
- Dina (2/5): - The room did not have an intact latch lock. The air conditioner was broken and falling apart. There were only two pillow shams and no pillows with sheets. We had to change rooms because the first backed up to trees and looked unsafe. We asked for a front room that was well lit. The curtain was falling off and this was a “refurbished “ room the front desk said. The price of $250 definitely did not match the quality of room or amenities. There were none.
- Olivia (10/5): - Average
- Tim (2/5): Skip this one - The room was not clean at all. Floor and walls were filthy and furniture and light fixtures were dirty and in bad condition. We had stayed here about 5 years ago and knew it wasnt fancy but it is much worse now.
- James (10/5): - It was fine would stay again
- Cindy jo (4/5): Well it something - Was there to go to hsp very early.
Pros- bed is amazing so is pillows and it’s very quiet
Cons—- omg so dirty. Spider webs all over ceiling and walls. Fire alarm. Well lack of. Hanging from wall with wires sticking out pretty safe I tell u !!
Stains all
Over walls. Tub well it was something !!TV sucked. Couldn’t see most channels
- Andrew (2/5): Roaches - Only had to kill 5 roaches in the 1st room before I asked to switch rooms. Then only had to kill one roach in the next room. Disgusting, I don't understand how places like that can be operating.
- Carol (4/5): - Required $50 deposit upfront even though I had prepaid. Check in at 11:30 pm took 15 mins. Reception was not speaking English in front of me.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Worst Hotel in Morgantown - The pictures are very deceiving, I personally changed rooms (looked at 2 others before accepting the 3rd). The first room was filthy (they assured me that it was the best room). The TV and shower didn't work, one of the two lamps didn't have a light bulb, bathroom was dirty, no hangers, no iron or ironing board, the deadbolt didn't work, and the air conditioner couldn't be adjusted in any way. So, I asked to move and they agreed after a long talk with someone on the phone. The first room they showed me reeked of marijuana and they thought it was acceptable. The second one didn't have any working lights and they said that I could wait outside until the maintenance guy came to fix them (I said no f****** way) but, the third one was acceptable using the lowest standards I have - everything worked but, the bathroom was filthy, hadn't been cleaned in a month at least. Don't ever stay here - I would give it a negative rating if possible. Hotels.com should remove them from their list.
- Miguel (6/5): - You get what you pay for my key needs reset every day and nobody is there to check out in the morning
- Shirley (2/5): - Disgusting
- Junyuan (6/5): - It is what it is. You get what you pay for. The premise in general could do with more cleaning. But otherwise yeah, if you’re just passing by town, it is what it is.
- sanjiv (2/5): Horrible place, stay away!! - This is a low quality motel with sub par room. Pathway leading upto the room was dirty. Room had NO chair to sit and work. I had to be there for graduation ceremony and i booked for two nights thinking i could work after attending the ceremony, but no chair to sit next to the desk.
Bathroom looked dilapidated.
I had to leave after the first night. But there was no front desk to return the key. Door to the lobby was closed. I had no idea how to checkout. I called the hotel number and someone instructed how to return the key. I asked for a refund for the one night as i was leaving early, but i was denied. Hope they take that money to improve something. What a rip off this place is. Stay away from it. It also felt very unsafe. Pillows were so firm and thick that i got neck pain after one night. Never staying here, ever!
- MARTIN (2/5): - This place looked like a war zone, mostly falling apart. The rooms were dark and dingy and not inviting. My wife slept with her clothes on she was afraid of bed bugs. The bathroom was falling apart and I was afraid to take a shower because I would not put my bare feet in the shower, which had no soap anyway. Expedia should take this place off your list.
- Wanda (2/5): - When we arrived at the property, we were shocked at the disarray of the area, the building and when we got to our room, appalled by the room. Unfortunately, it was graduation weekend for the local college and we had no choice. I later learned that this hotel is a housing for homeless people paid for by the state, (which I have normally no issues with) but we were solicited a lot for money from people loitering in the parking lot and around the rooms. I would never recommend this to any traveler. We were there only to sleep and left before day light.
- Warren (2/5): - The property and our hotel room were awful. Our room was dirty and extremely unsanitary, No toilet tissue or towels! No amenities whatsoever, bathroom was disgusting, the property was decrepit and not at all maintained! Pictures totally deceiving, stayed one night and will never go back, will recommend this hotel to know one….
- Benjamin (10/5): Friendly hotel - The manager went out of his way to find me a room, despite every hotel in town being booked solid. It is rare to find service like that anywhere at any hotel
- Marion (4/5): Not worth it. - They put us in a building that was meant for long stays. Supposedly just remodeled. It was way below standards. Top much to list.1 single outlet for personal use.Had to do our own cleaning. No ice machine. No vending machine. No tissues. No phone. No maid or towel service. No double lock for door. No front desk service at night.
Just a very rundown old building.
- Cathy (10/5): - I love the fantastic customer service at front desk . They have worked to assist me in all aspects .
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not recommended - There was dirty towels laying in bathroom floor when we arrived. The room was fairly clean but the bed was very worn and uncomfortable.
