Guest Reviews
- Julia Nicole (4/5): - Dirty, the room smelled damp and the AC wasnt working very well.
- dorothy (10/5): - Staff were so nice and hospitable
Thank you
- David (10/5): - Very nice staff
- Harold (10/5): - Clean
- Lea (6/5): - They don’t have access to the beach, the best part, it’s next to Mudala Beach Resort! Staff is very nice, no restaurant though
- Ydref (2/5): Below average - We stayed for 3 days while visiting Bohol
Old dirty room. Fridge was not plugged in and smelt off
No bathroom fan
No kettle / coffee / tea
Spider nest above bed
Rusted tap in bathroom sink with no hot water
TINY travel size bathroom soaps and shampoos
There was construction going on and there was no notice on website of this construction so its noisy. And there is NO BEACH ACCESS due to construction.
The service was good though!
The 6-10 times I had to ask about something, the issue was resolved quickly!
Close to a new mall, 7-11, beach and restaurants
- Boris (2/5): - Ongoing construction in the beachfront. The property has no access to the beach and is totally noisy from 7am till 22pm.
- Anand (8/5): - Staff is very kind and friendly
- Ben (8/5): Nice family run diving lodge. - A nice little family run hotel lodge offering good value and a friendly service. Very much set up as a dive lodge perfect if you intend to use as a base for a few days of diving activities. Rooms/lodges are basic, but clean and fully functional with a/c and hot showers. Located directly on the beach, which isn’t currently ‘groomed/kept’ A small pool is used for dive tuition
- Jona (10/5): - friendly staff - Marivic and other staff addressed our needs since we arrived in the property!
I will highly recommend the place
- CDG (10/5): - The check-in process was smooth and guests didn't report any problem
- G (8/5): Could not upload gorgeous photos I took - Having real problem leaving a review
Keeps jumping out
I took lovely photos to upload
- Alexander (4/5): Cheap place - This is a cheap place to stay but a fair distance from town. Beach where it was near was full of litter and the room very basic however for somewhere cheap to stay then it would be okay but only okay
- Michael (10/5): - lovely staff. Even the dogs where super. Especially Leo.
Room was comfortable.
Ground of the resort where beautiful.
Was not happy with the beach.
Beach was dirty. Lots of rotting seaweed, plastic and garbage washed up onto the beach. With a huge resort being built a few doors down the beach I would think they would be wise to make the beach cleaner and more usable for the public
- beth (8/5): It’s close to the town and the beach - The restaurants are good though a little bit crowded during the night time
- Maria (10/5): - The resort is small but it has access to the beach. The way to beach needs to be cleaned and maintained.
- Dwayne A (8/5): Vacation 2017 - It was good you get what you pay for. We love the pool i think its a plus.
Couple of drinks in the evening would be great
- James (6/5): Disappointment! - Due to the earthquake in Leyte, there was a blackout for almost the whole time we were there. They had no generator and refunded our most of our money to move to a hotel with generator. When we arrived the pool looked like a swamp. They started cleaning it but took a couple of days! The beach was dirty and not well kept!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful stay!!! - We stayed here for 9 nights and loved our experience. Red palm is on a quiet part of the island with a beautiful, natural beach. The room was clean and comfortable. There were several nice places to eat on the beach, including Red Palm's restaurant. The best part about our stay at The Red Palm were the people who worked there. We were traveling with our young children and they looked out for our safety, well being and overall enjoyment of this beautiful island!!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Friendly People and very basic accommodation - nice people but the "resort" consists of more or less 4 huts that are nearby a bungalow where the pool and restaurant is located. Was ok to stay there but would not go there again. Prices were too high (because of chinese new year holiday)
- Paul (8/5): Most friendly staff ever!!!! - It was a little far from everything but the staff was amazing. The only complaint is that they didn't clean the room everyday. If they would have done that, it would have been perfect. The food was amazing and the local people so friendly. I felt I was living with friends. If I stay in Bohol again, I will stay here once more.
