Martin (3/5): Low quality and dirty but the staff was friendly. - There was nothing about the property that I liked besides the friendly staff. I was mislead by the name Ecotel into thinking the hotel would be particularly or noticeably ‘green’ and eco-conscious. It was not. It was an unappealing building with filthy carpets, dirty windows, cracked paint, mold in the bathrooms, broken drains in the showers, poor selection at dinner and worse at breakfast. I paid for two nights and left after only one. As a traveling photojournalist I have stayed in more than 3000 hotels in 160 countries. This hotel was not a bad place but because of its current poor conditions I would not recommend it. There are many other better hotels with good rates in the immediate vicinity, and all around Yogyakarta. Choose another hotel.

We had our company outing, and this hotel hosted all of our staff. Positive vibe and ambience, they have a pool table in the lobby. Keep up the good work, and I shall stay again when I’m back in Yogya.

Corina (7/5): A good option dor budget hotel - Decent facilities for budget hotel. Drinking water is provided with dispenser which I think a good way to be ecotel. Cleanliness is ok despite some parts have a bit stain Very limited parking, note recommended if you bring a car, but if you dont, should be ok.
don226 (2/5): Disaster stay.. - Damp and not fresh; cleanliness needs improvements; moldy walls everywhere, especially in the toilet. The linen is dirty and smelly. Our room is located next to the panel room on the ground floor; the corridor is too noisy, so we definitely cannot have a good rest. The worst is that it doesn't have decent parking; we must wait sometimes. It is located on a narrow street. The TV is broken; we need to call engineering to change the unit.

Room ac is hot, not cold at all, no wind also, ac is not really working, need to call maintenance. I ask for late check out, morning 9am staff still knocking on my door asking while do not disturb sign is on the door. Wth so annoying, disturbing my rest.

I'm sure you're never feel hungry in the middle of night. Easy Check in and helpful staff, This hotel did'nt provide mineral water bottle, but they provide you a glass water jug, so you can reffil as free flow . #this is i Loved.. Amenities is good, all fungtion in room runs well. I have reserv for superior twin room, its possible if you want extra bed. They have smooking room if you want, so you can note on your reservation. darfanw (6/5): reasonable price for a budget hotel - the plus point : the hospitality is great, the staff are responsive. The provide some dispenser in one floor, so we could refill the mineral water. Even the hotel is not located on wide street, but there a lot of food option surround. The breakfast is quite good for a budget hotel the minus points : bedroom is not too clean, especially on wooden floor, I think they should changed/renew the floor. Even i found many ants on the bedsheet. The towels smell bad.

Hotel rooms could use a paint job. While bedding was clean, it was well worn. Coffee mugs, stirrers and paper they sat on were dirty Staff came to spray ants in the bathroom and glasses and shelf needed better cleaning. It is a good budget hotel with Indonesian rate of $16 but I paid US $38. It would be 2 star at best, not 3
