Guest Reviews
- Aaron (4/5): - The smallest hotel room I've ever seen. But it's a clean bed, toilet and shower. So I guess that's all you need.
The airport shuttle only operates in the evening, so hope you don't have a morning flight! (I did...)
- Allen (2/5): - I stayed here 2 years ago and found the place good. However this time it appears they’ve let the rooms degrade significantly. The AC is old and incredibly loud. With the street noise, the noise in the room averaged between 80 and 89 decibels. You either sleep in the noise or in the heat. I slept wearing earplugs. Secondly the faucet leaks and the sink does as well leaving a nightly puddle you have to deal with. If you sleep with the AC off, then the room smells damp and moldy. The staff is very nice and helpful and the room is a good value. However the negatives outweigh the positives. I’m not certain ill stay here again.
- Mark Jefferson (10/5): - Excellent
- Johnaden (6/5): - Needs room improvement
- Maricel (2/5): - The hotel doesn’t doesnt have any fridge, the aircon was noisy sorrounding busy street.
- Emelito (6/5): - Accessible
- Bonifacio Jr (6/5): - If I'm gonna compare to other branch like Cauayan City, breakfast is included with a lowest rate. Tuguegarao is $26 + tax and then in Cauayan city $19 + tax (breakfast is included)
- Julio (8/5): - Location was very convenient for my self near everything
but the only thing that may need is to replace Bed mattress replacement more often they aren't the best Quality
- Brian (10/5): - I've stayed here before and chose it over others that were cheaper because I enjoyed my previous stay.
- Sterling (8/5): Fine hotel - Very nice hotel. Convenient laundry spot nearby. No mangos delivered to the room however ;-)
- KAMASE (8/5): - Cost performance is very good. Best for a business stay!
- Henry (8/5): - Clean room
- Mario Jr. (8/5): Recommended - Staff are all smiles and very accommodating. The room is clean but need a bit of improvements. Cleanliness is good.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The staff were friendly except for one receptionist. The ambience is clean.
- Oconnor (10/5): Smith in town - Only thing lacking is having kettle in room to make drinks , apart from that good location,
You can ask for coffee from counter from 6am ,
- David (10/5): 5 days in TC - Second visit great location for our needs. Hotel’s perfect for a base to work from. Nice breakfast
- YOSHIYUKI (8/5): - まずまずね。まずまずなのがありがたい。遮光カーテンだとなおよかったかなぁ。
- Jeneline (8/5): - Staff was very helpfull and accomodating.
- Cecilia (8/5): Better this time - Our first stay in a standard room was bad but when we booked again for the suite it was better. Room was lit nicely with mirror and built in locker, wash room was properly lit, there was hot water spacious as well. So the next time we come suites are the best standard rooms are not recommended!
- Therese (8/5): - The rooms are outdated. The shower in the room did not drain properly. The staff are nice and helpful.
- Johnny (6/5): I won’t be back to this hotel.. - My first time visiting a country outside of the U.S. I went to visit a girlfriend/wife. Because of a difference in languages and my understanding of Tagalog. My stay at the hotel wasn’t what I hoped it would be. The restaurant and lobby are beautiful. Food is excellent along with the waiting staff of the restaurant. But the bed inside my room was like sleeping on the floor with a blanket and pillows. The air in the room wasn’t clean. Maybe because of the a/c unit in the room hanging from the window. We woke up everyday with congestion and a headache.
- Cecilia (4/5): Disappointed guest - Ten years ago I booked at this hotel, it was an amazing experience orderly, clean and nothing to worry. Year 2023 booked again but ti my disappointment, it was not what I expected. The bathroom sink, shower, toilet is not as good. The shower room get flooded every time I shower, we complain but no action done. Water stays doesn’t go down the drain.
- Meriam (6/5): - Staff are very friendly and accommodating. However, you get what you pay.
- Aileen (10/5): - Very nice and clean, accessible and friendly staffs.
- David (10/5): First trip to Tuguegarao - If you are a visitor to Tuguegarao city , then you will not go wrong with staying at the Mango suites. I feel lucky to have found such a jewel.
It’s not 5 star but is the best value and quality you are likely to find.
Excellent breakfast and evening meals available. Also just 1 min walk to Franco’s restaurant. Best in the city for a westerner like my self.
Finally the staff are charming and truly beautiful people.
Thank you Tango Suites
- Julio (8/5): - Centralized location clean friendly staf
- Julie (4/5): - Needs renovation
- Samuel (2/5): The LeastPlace to Stay in Tuguegarao. - The hotel is situated in a very busy intersection, there is not elevator, the rooms are very small, cockroaches were noticed in our unit, our room did not have any electrical outlet for to charge cell phones and/or iPad, there is a charge for an extra towel. This is the least place for a hotel in Tuguegarao.
- Nathan (8/5): Nice hotel, would stay again. - Nice hotel close to the centre of Tug
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Television was black and white, no coffee maker in the room,
- John (8/5): Fair - I have stayed in several hotels in this Country.
Cons: Staff where nice as always in the Philippines. Had problems with WiFi as always I guess in the Philippines. The Mini bar in the ad was so small I couldn't see it. The complimentary breakfast was limited. Staff a little inattentive in restaurant,The shower was a little less to be desired.
Pros: Relatively clean, Water was hot, restaurant had menu with alot more than just Philippino food. They do have Angus T Bone steaks at a good price, over all would probably stay here again because of the location.
- Czarina (10/5): - Very clean comfortable and cosy. Amazing stay!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The staff at the information area are not approachable but all the boys guard bellboys are friendly
- ANTIPAS IV (8/5): - Nice place, but outside noise can be heard inside the room.
- Norm (6/5): - Shuttle from airport to hotel - Very good
• Driver polite, took our large bag from us.
Check-in - Excellent
• Friendly and swift service
Entry to room - Appalling
• Air conditioner off, it was so hot it took an hour for the room to cool
• Bar fridge off so all drinks were not just warm but hot, housekeeping were called to look at the fridge but told me it was working. I went to the front desk and was told that the fridge along with the A/C all switch off when the room card is removed from the wall socket, I was the presented with a second card to keep the power on while we were out of the room.
Early Evening – Un-professional
• Went to the bar/lobby area for a cool drink (fridge was not cool yet), the desk staff appeared friendly and appropriate, the lobby staff were disappointing, more concerned with playing chase with each other outside the hotel entrance, several guests arrived and departed with no service at the door, the door was left open several times and remained open until I closed it myself, the lobby staff continued to play.
Bed time – Poor
• Very loud music outside the hotel
Sleep – Good
• Bed comfortable & clean, once asleep all was good
Wake-Up – Good
• Other guests / staff were quiet and considerate to other guests
Breakfast – OK
• Area clean, well laid out with plenty of room to move around other guests & tables
• Choice of two meals
• Coffee offered but no juice
• No serviettes on table
• Meal was warm only, but tasty
• Water arrived as we were leaving the ta
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great city location, friendly and attentive staff, good food.
- Douglas (10/5): Great hotel - Great value for the money. Clean and friendly, the service was awesome and if you decide to stay here, you'll be pleasantly surprised!
- Pooh (6/5): - The hotel is new but the bathroom layout is not good; it could have been better despite this being just a 2-star hotel. When I came down with my bag since there is no elevator and there are several flights of stairs to negotiate going up and down, there was no one who helped me, despite staff members being present and just conversing unmindful of the guests.
- Steve (8/5): Central hotel. - Ideal hotel, accommodating well trained staff always polite and happy....
- Steve (10/5): Central Tuguegarao - Better than all the rest, good response from all the staff, they can’t do enough for you, an example for others in the area on how to run a good hotel....
- Johnny (6/5): 1st time stay in Tuguegarao - The hotel is good for the price and the free breakfast was good! Room is good size and clean. Staff was very nice ! No elevator in hotel. Nothing fancy but worth the stay! You can walk to local restaurants and stores. No taxis in Tuguegarao so be ready for riding local tricycle around and they're cheap! Very nice mall nearby! Overall good stay!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Friendly from the start. Rooms clean, good food and breakfast. Overall very cheap for the experience. Only hotel listed on Wotif and didn’t let the website down.
- James (10/5): - Wonderful Staff
- Kev (6/5): Decent low priced hotel - Not many options in Tug. Breakfast is good, just two choices though, spam or beef tapa. Small rooms. It was a little uncomfortable because it was so humid at night. Shower in the evening was hot, but in the morning it was cold. I guess you gotta be one of the first ones up for a hot shower. If you use shuttle to go to the airport, I recommend you request it 30 minutes earlier than you need, I almost missed my flight because they were late to take me. All in all, not bad for short term for the price.
- steve (8/5): The best Expedia hotel in Tuguegarao - Excellent service 10/10 for effort from the staff and so polite and aware of the guests needs, good security and well spoken receptionists ...
- Verified traveler (8/5): Alright for a 2star. - For a two star rated hotel, Mango Suites lives up to it. Beds were comfortable. Good lighting. Although the table/desk needs re painting. Toilet paper is too thin. No hand towel.
Breakfast was good.
- jr (8/5): its ok for one night - ok
- Vida (6/5): Nothing fancy but generally okay - Keeping in mind that this was a 2-star hotel so many facilities were definitely be missing, we thought we had a generally pleasant stay. The staff was very helpful and accommodating to requests. For example, although we were given only 1 pillow each throughout the stay, they allowed us to "rent" 1 more pillow each for only PHP 20 per person throughout our stay. There is also a free shuttle to and from the airport, which is a rather nice add-on service.
