• Bismark (10/5): Best value for a quiet stay in Montañita - The location was exceptionally privileged for the context of Montañita. Right in front of the sea, far from the noise. The facilities were rustic, "beachy", quaint and cozy. Free parking, A/C and breakfast included for a very affordable price. The staff were always positive, welcoming and had the best attitude the whole time. It's pet friendly, so our two dachschunds had a blast running around their green lawns and clean, wide beach. I absolutely fell in love with the place, but I can see how more conservative guests may prefer more modern installations, since all the rooms were rustic cabins, but it's a personal preference thing, the place was perfect in its own right.

• Amybhansen (10/5): The best place to relax! - Absolutely loved the quiet, chill vibes at this place. Comfortable beds, lovely rooms with porches from which you can sit and listen to waves at all times of the day. It's not a modern or fancy place but we've stayed here twice now and the location is amazing, the cats cuddly and the property, the best place for a relaxing day. In the weekends the beach out front is packed with tourists, but during the week you have the entire stretch all to yourself. It's not a complaint we just really wish that a place like this had a water refill station. The amount of single use plastic in Montañita is nuts and I'd wish the great property's like this would lead the way!

And the service was really nice. - I really loved the place, the cabins were comfortable, the area around the cabins was beautiful, it has a wonderful view. Around the building the street light fixtures need to be fixed, because it’s kinda risky to walk alone.

• Carlos (6/5): Pleasant - The location is good for a quiet rest in Montañita, you can easily walk to the city. The staff is kind and the place is beautiful. They have a bar at the beach and it is open until 21:00 The air conditioner did not work properly. Mattrasses and line sheets are too old to provide a good rest. The place is beautiful, but they need to make some small investments to provide a comfortable stay. It is not the most expensive place, but it is not the cheapest either. I was attracted to staying in this place to be in contact with the beach and what montañita was like 15 years ago and it surely gives you that. However, at that price (compared to what you can get around), some new sheets do not cost that much. I did not complain because I am easy to adapt. But it is what it is. There are some cats and dogs which I am not sure are officially from the hotel, but in both cases, It would be nice if they feed them properly and take better care of the skin and wellbeing of the animals.
