• Carlos (2/5): - The elevator was out of service and was never repaired, despite promises of daily fixes. I had to carry my luggage and assist my elderly parents with theirs up three floors (four in the US) via a narrow staircase. Both bathroom bedrooms had mold, and the black furniture was dusty and not cleaned during my stay. Overall, the stay was not good. The only positive was the location near a Metro station.
• Anahi (4/5): - El hotel tiene buena ubicación. De día es una zona linda, pero en la noches bastante insegura. Estuvimos 3 noches, y 2 noches hubo gente gritando y peleando en la calle (por más de una hora). El hotel cumple su propósito para descansar y estar en un lugar limpio, pero es sumamente pequeña la habitación y le falta mucha iluminación, el baño es muy pequeño, tengo entendido que los hoteles Styles, son de mejor categoría y realmente no fue asi. Además no servía el elevedaor y tuvimos que subir 4 maletas hasta el tercer piso por las escaleras. Por el presupuesto que pagamos hay mejores opciones… hemos estado en muchos Ibis, en el mismo Paris y en Londres y este hotel nos disgustó mucho… tuvimos la intención de movernos de hotel, pero ya no era posible gastar más .

• Kate (8/5): - Ibis staff was always friendly and helpful. Rooms were adequate, but the 2 we had were very small. Shuffle sideways around the bed to get to the bathroom small. Judging from the posted floorplan, other rooms looked to be a bit bigger. Ours were very tight for 2 guests and 2 bags. Breakfast was decent - nothing exciting, but solid, coffee and other hot drinks were available 24/7. The hotel is a short walk to the nearest metro entrance, and has lots of dining options nearby. There is an ATM across the street, and a Mono grocery store near as well. It was nice being out od the high tourist areas, but because of the proximity to bars and restaurants, it was frequently noisy late at night.

• Joanne (10/5): - The staff could not have been more helpful. Incredibly friendly, a really lovely welcome and assistance finding something to eat that evening. Room was clean and compact. Very comfortable bed. Location is a walkable distance to all you need and two minutes to a metro. The area itself is a little gritty, but I experienced no issues and made sure I was traveling smartly (not on my own late at night, secured handbag etc)
• Viktorija (10/5): - Habe den von der Unterkunft angebotenen Pre-Check-in durchgeführt, vor Ort nur gezahlt. Sieht auf den Bildern schicker aus als es in Wirklichkeit ist, aber für einen Städtetrip mit paar Übernachtungen vollkommen ausreichend. Bad klein, aber alles sauber. Station Gare de l‘Est in Fußnähe, keine Lärmbelästigung (wir waren im obersten, dem vierten, Stockwerk zur Straße hin. Man muss beachten, dass es keine Minibar gibt, somit im Sommer keine Kühlmöglichkeit für eigene Getränke. Kein Safe, etwas schade (zumindest gab es die beiden Sachen in dem von uns gebuchten Standardzimmer nicht, achtet auf die Beschreibung). Einen Fön kann man sich an der Rezeption leihen. Personal freundlich, Rezeption 24 Std. besetzt. Frühstück sehr gut mit frisch gepresstem O-Saft, neben Schinken und Käse und Marmelade auch Crêpes, Croissants, Müsli, auch Sojamilch, Obst und Gemüse, Kaffee war auch gut. War prima um gut in den Tag zu starten. Standard des Hotels so, wie man es auch für den Preis erwarten kann mit der Tatsache, dass es gut gelegen ist und man allein dafür mehr zahlt. Vielen Dank!

Desayuno simple pero funcional, unico detalle es que la habitación no estaba muy bien insonorizada, pero tampoco fue un gran problema.

• Livia Lorena (8/5): Preço justo e ótimo custo e benefício - Ótimo custo benefício. Os quartos do hotel são um pouco escuros e pequenos, mas as camas são confortáveis e o chuveiro gostoso. O café da manhã é gostoso com variedades de pães, suco fresco, café coado e bastante variedade de geleias. Do lado de uma importante estação de metrô.

• Jani Joakim (10/5): Hyvä hotelli Pariisin matkalle! - Pidimme hotellista kovasti! Erinomainen sijainti, hyvä aamiainen, siisti huone, hyvä sänky, ystävällinen palvelu. Ainoa (pieni) miinus tulee vessapaperista, joka oli heikkolaatuista ja hajosi heti käsiin. Huippuhotelli, johon voisimme tulla mielellään uudelleenkin!

Also I had a big room at the end of corridor and nice view to the church. However one of the other 3 rooms was right next to the evaluator which was noise and small. Which my friend had a very bad stay. Hence overall 4* instead of 5.
• Michael (6/5): - Lage ist sehr gut, zur Metro sind es nur 3 min., die großen Bahnhöfe (Est, Nord) sind fußläufig erreichbar. Hotel insgesamt eher klein, verwinkelt und dunkel. Zimmer klein, im Bad kann man sich kaum umdrehen, Mini-Waschbecken. Das Frühstück hat uns nicht gefallen. Alles sehr basic, der Kaffee aus der Maschine ungeniessbar. Kein Rührei, keine warmen Würstchen oder ähnliches. Das Frühstück dauer werktags bis 10.00 Uhr und am Wochenende bis 11.00 Uhr. Neujahr wurde als Werktag betrachtet und das Buffet ab 10.00 Uhr abgeräumt. Das ist kein Service im Sinne der Gäste. Insgesamt war das Personal freundlich. Allerdings seltsam, dass wir bei Eintreffen im Hotel um 1.00 Uhr erstmal vor verschlossener Tür standen, und eine Klingel suchen und klopfen mussten, bis uns jemand öffnete.

This place is run like a youth hostel (young untrained staff) and looks rather like a converted youth hostel. The rooms are tiny and the bathroom is Micro sized… I can barely get in it lol Don’t be fooled by the “arty” decoration photos… it’s a “pig wearing lipstick” type hotel Avoid
• Pam (10/5): Recommended especially if you want access to train - It was a small but quaint hotel. It's exactly what you'd expect in Paris. The breakfast was suitable and there was wonderful fresh squeezed orange juice. I chose this hotel because of it close approximation to the train station, but I was very happy with the soft comfortable bed and cleanliness of the room. I would stay here again.

• Richard (6/5): It does what it need to. - The hotel is a glorified dormitory room. Our room was Black & White in color(or lack of color). The bathroom was functional. However, there wasn't enough of glass enclosure to keep water off the floor. Breakfast was okay. Staff varied from nice & friendy to can't be bothered with you attitude. Closed to a train station. Next door to a metrp stop.

Le seul regret c’est ma demande de taxi pour le lendemain j’ai compris trop tard que ce n’était pas un taxi aucune identification à l’intention du taxi et je ne pouvais pas payer par carte bancaire et il m’a chargé 70 euro . • Elsa Idalia (10/5): Muy buen hotel, ubicación, atención de su personal - Me encantó la ubicación, cerca de Gare del Est si vas a moberte en metro, bus o en tren a otras ciudades... las instalaciones renovadas, hotel limpio aunque habitación y baño chico estilo al estilo Ibis - pero sin duda regresaría, el servicio y atención de todo el personal en especial de Marina para ayudar et Najar avec le petite dejeneur, delicioso vale mucho la pena ... excelentes anfitrionas.... !!!! Posiblemente porque me tocó habitacion de 1 persona, pero si ha de haber mas grandes para estacias familiares. Volveré pronto. A bientot!

Hotel is quite funky with the tattoo theme, but room was as bijou (read small) as you'd expect from most Paris hotels. The room was comfortable for a short break. Breakfast is INCLUDED in the price and was plentiful and good quality.
• Mark (8/5): - A totally fine hotel near the train stations. Room was small but clean and bed was comfortable. Note: Despite what Expedia claims, there are no rooms for 4 - you will be split into 2 rooms, each with a double bed.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location, near all major train stations and Metro stops. Clean, front desk staff was very pleasant to deal with.
• Carmen (8/5): Short Stay. - Friendly, helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Quiet and very convenient for transport.
• Derek (8/5): - Exactly what it needed to be! 5 minute walk from Gare Est. Room was small but it fit the three of us (3 yr old son) and the little pull out bed was comfortable for him. Breakfast was basic but well attended.
• Lola (10/5): - good location, friendly staff, tasty breakfast, drink water in the room. air conditioning was just against the bed, but have switched it off for the night.
• Jane (8/5): - Very close to both rail stations. Decent restaurants nearby.
• Victoria (10/5): Great location and friendly staff - Very well located hotel. Staff were both friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were clean and practical.
• Matej (10/5): - Great hotel for somebody who's planning to spend minimum time in the hotel and walk around the city, it has everything you need for couple of days in Paris. Breakfast decent, nothing special, but not bad.
• Stacie (8/5): October with kids.. - The room was clean, compact and as expected for a Paris room - especially at the price we paid. The service was lovely and the staff were helpful. The room itself could do with a few more hooks etc.. for coats, and despite the heat as it was a warm October there was no air conditioning (We did ask a staff member for help, but it would only do hot??) The included breakfast and general pleasant stay made up for this though, and I would be sure to stay again. It is in a more undesirable part of Paris, which is no fault of the hotel, but if you are generally street smart you should be fine (I was with my child and never felt unsafe.. but just be mindful.)
• Phillip (8/5): Convenient for trains - Convenient for a short stay if you need to be near gare d’lest or Gare du nord. It’s a pretty dodgy area around the hotel, I wouldn’t stay here for more than a couple of nights.
• Sian (8/5): Value for money close to Canal St Martin - Small hotel with functional rooms for sleeping in. I wouldn’t stay here if you are planning on spending lots of time in your room as the bathrooms are particularly tiny and walls were painted red, so it is very dark in the space. The hotels and rooms were very clean and the continental breakfast was a really nice way to start the day - go early as it can get get rather congested but 9:30 also wasn’t too bad. Bag store is available for free, they tag the bag and only the staff retrieve. Overall great base for exploring northern and eastern Paris. Remember station areas are generally less pleasant so avoid strangers trying to talk to you.

• Michele (8/5): - Great location and breakfast. Tiny room and street noise.
• Phillip (10/5): - The staff were so good, really friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was a real highlight, really good choice and quality food. The beds were very comfortable, our twin room was small but perfectly adequate.
• Timothy (8/5): - Very small room but hotel is well situated to the Paris Gare de l'Est and many good dining options in the area.
• Rosemary Ribeiro de (8/5): - Nice people working there but the location and room service is below average.
• Anabelle (10/5): Absolutely brilliant - Where to start?! Location is amazing, about a 30 second walk from Gare de l’Est which has several metro lines to take you all over Paris. Staff were the friendliest hotel staff I’ve ever come across. So lovely to us with regards to everything. Breakfast was AMAZING! Wifi was brilliant and free. The room was very clean, housekeeping every day. Excellent shower, spotless bathroom. I cannot fault this hotel!! Thank you so much.
• david (10/5): Cosy overnight. - Very comfortable night stay for morning Eurostar back to London. Good location behind church, first bell not till 8am so no problem. Large cosy room with good wifi and nice tv. Bathroom slightly small relatively but not an issue. Perfectly adequate continental breakfast included. Paris hotels are obviously quite expensive so just about value for money.
• Matthew (10/5): - It’s an Ibis Styles; you basically know going in it’ll be clean and comfortable and relatively cheap, but with minimal extras. It’s a bed, a shower, a very reasonable breakfast. It’s in a great location, a stone’s throw from Gare de l’Est and a short walk from Gare du Nord, as well as their respective metro stations. I’d happily stay there again. I will note that the neighbourhood is a little noisy, and can be pretty lively in the evening; light sleepers may want to bring earplugs, or may be able to get a room that doesn’t face the street.
• Aurélie (8/5): Well situated and best quality price in the area - I stayed with my sister there for 3 nights. The room was small, but it was enough for us. The hotel is well situated (near Gare de l'Est, buses' stops and few metro lines); it was easy to visit Paris!
