Leon (9/5): A beautiful stay with great staff and delicious breakfast. - Attentive and friendly staff, large, beautiful room and a great breakfast, made even better by having it on the patio on a beautiful morning. The staff went above and beyond to organise a bottle of champagne for me and my wife, as we were visiting as part of our honeymoon. It is also in a great location with a very short walk to the centre of town and all the great restaurants. No complaints!

Eoin (10/5): An unforgettable stay with incredible staff, thoughtful touches and genuine and warm hospitality. - I can’t say enough good things about this place and the staff. Everything was amazing from the minute we arrived. We were greeted by Billy, had the chats straight away, and he brought us to the room and explained everything we needed to know. We were on our honeymoon and a few minutes after we checked in, Billy knocked on the door with a bottle of champagne, such a thoughtful touch and completely made our day. He also offered to make dinner reservations which was really appreciated. The room was beautiful, spotless and had such a calm, relaxing feel to it. The facilities were excellent and it’s an easy walk into town, which made everything so convenient. It ended up being a real highlight of our stay in Franschhoek. Breakfast was fantastic and they catered really well for gluten-free needs too, which made a big difference. We also had a lovely chat with the owner before we left, which summed up the whole experience warm, friendly and genuinely welcoming. The hospitality here is honestly 10000/10. We can’t wait to come back to Franschhoek and will definitely be staying longer next time.

From the welcome from Billy, to our lovely room and just the tranquil setting, there is nothing we could fault. The breakfast is always delicious and everything was clean and comfortable. There was easy parking and we were allowed to park earlier than check in and leave our things at reception before exploring. The beds were super. we could not take advantage of the pool and relax there due to time restraints, next time we would like to stay longer. There is no air conditioning unit in the second room and with the temperatures we had this would have been better.

There could have had screens on the windows or mosquito netting as there were mosquitoes in the rooms at night. In addition only one bedroom had air conditioning.
