Guest Reviews
- Carina (10/5): - The apartment was clean and had everything necessary for a short stay, the communication with the host was very easy and pleasant, they were flexible to leave our luggage nearby. The check-in and code system to get the keys worked perfectly, no issues at all. The only downside was this is a bit far away from the historic centre, 20-30 min walking, but we were aware of the location when we booked, also because it is very close to the bus station which was convenient to us. Zadar is mostly flat and we did the walk with no problem. We didn't use parking but the property does have parking right in the apartment area, I would recommend this property for a short stay in a nice apartment and very helpful staff even being online messaging.
- Eyup (10/5): - Communication was great. Easy access! Hotel was next to Mcdo. And very close actually to old town with car/Uber. Beach is 10min walk. Room was clean and very usefull, much space also. Very happy to stay there
- Slaviša (10/5): - Very cute spot. The area around isn't the most exciting (except the super busy McDonald's drive thru right next to the building), but it's a nice 20min walk to the old town. Apartment is cute and has all the essentials one needs. It also looked quite clean. Would defs stay there again.
- Lauren (10/5): Good - In a really good location, close to the beach, city centre and right by a supermarket. Host is really quick to reply. Really good value for money.
Apartment is clean and has good amenities but the only downside is limited supplies e.g. could have done with more bin bags, cleaning supplies and towels as we stayed for 6 days, especially a tea towel for drying dishes. The kitchen could also do with a vent as it got really smelly and hot when cooking, even a fan would help.
- Xochitl (4/5): - You have to access the property by tha McDonald parking!!!!
- Denise (8/5): Stay in August 25 - Good location. We used uber a lot to get in and out. Next to a McDonalds drive through but no noise. Small apartment but very functional other than the sink which is tricky to get into due to low units above. Bed comfortable. Useful outdoor space and rattan furniture. I would go again.
- Carol (10/5): - Excellent location, walking distance to both bus station and old town. There are lockers to store our luggages which is an absolute plus! The room is clean and quiet. Only one thing to improve is adding a blocker to the shower area to avoid water overflowing.
- Carmen (6/5): - They only accept cash... Nobody showed up, i had to collect the exact amount... What if i needed change? Disapponting.
- Martina (10/5): - Super schön, praktisch, Zentrale Lage.
- Bozana (10/5): - Super cute flats. Great location, next to the grocery store, bakery and McDonalds. 10min walk to the beach. Perfect for couples.
- Stanislav (10/5): - Good Location to center of city, walking distance to most places.
- Alan (8/5): - The apartment is clean but quit noisy.
- Joanne (10/5): - Lovely, modern apartments. Very close to bus station and beaches. Sea Organ about 25 mins walk away. Excellent communication with agent, via phone and WhatsApp. Would definitely recommend.
- Joanne (10/5): - Lovely modern apartment. Excellent communication via WhatsApp.
- Sophie (6/5): - La poussière aurait besoin d etre faite.
- Sanna (10/5): We highly recommend this place - We highlyrecommend this place. Clean and nice place. The check-in instruction message came a day late, but the service was friendly and fast.
- Nikrooz (6/5): - Not our best stay in Croatia. We spent one night in room 7. The room did not have any shower products. Towels were included but one seemed dirty. The upstairs loft area, seemed not to be cleaned for a while and full of dust. The double bed on the main floor was clean. Apartment right by the road. We had to close windows to prevent road noise. Weak somewhat noisy AC unit. Small room, but they have made efficient use of it. We did not try the breakfast as it seemed basic for the cost. Parking entrance is in the back of McDonald's drive thru, when we arrived it was fine, but in the evening on Sunday it was busy with car lineups, difficult to get in. Parking area itself was okay. The pros are that there is a MacDonald and a grocery store in the plaza. For a one night stay it's okay, but we would probably not stay longer.
- Claire (10/5): - Nice room, well renovated, clean. We would have liked to have curtains to stop the light in the morning.
- Jessica (6/5): - Great hotel for a travelling couple in Zadar. Parking is free & easy. Good location to old town (approx 20min walk)
- Amit (10/5): - Great location and spacious room.
- Isabelle (10/5): - Excellent service! Easy to find! Good qualiy/prive ratio.
- MarieSoleil (4/5): - To be completely honest, we didn’t even went to the room. We felt so unsafe in that area that we couldn’t dare. Picture of outside are not representative at all of what you’ll see when you arrived, and for the price, really a bigger hotel on the beach should be the way to go.
Also, when we arrived to get the key of the place, we were to proceed with the boxes as it has been explained by email. However, when I went to do the code, it was already put in, so actually anybody coule have just gone with the keys and who knows maybe they have and there was supposed to be to key there!! Seriously felt so unsafe couldn’t get ourselves to sleep there.
- Lea Silvia (8/5): - The flat is close to a market and walk distance to the center of Zadar. Which is a super! We were not in the busiest area but still close to the main attractions in Zadar. The checkin and check out were seamless. The flat is cute and practical. We had enough space and all went fine. The only downside was the showers drain that seemed to not flow well leaving the bathroom wet.
- Kelly (4/5): - The location was good as was the parking. The room it self was disappointing. There were no side tables on either side of the bed. There was no shower curtain for the shower so all the water just goes all over the floor. There is evidence of this along the floor boards. Something was growing in the tea kettle. Grossed me out. And the TV never worked at all. I emailed numerous times. They did reach back. Telling me to try this or that. The cleaning lady was nice but couldn't fix it or wouldn't. She was in a hurry to clean rooms. We left a day early. They would not refund any money either. Didnt care. If you want just to sleep or pass out. This would work fine. If you want to spend several days, i would find another accommodation
- Verified traveler (8/5): Kesälomamatka - Perussiisti huoneistohotelli kätevällä sijainnilla. Älä anna ulkokuoren hämätä, sisäpihalle mentäessä huoneistohotellin puoli siisti ja remontoitu toisin kuin kadun puoleinen osuus. Suloiset pienet terassit jokaisella huoneistolla. Kylpyhuoneesta miinusta, sillä vedet valuivat suihkusta ulos kylpyhuoneesta. Lyhyt kävelymatka rantaan ja kauppakeskuksiin. Vieressä myös mcdonalds äkilliseen nälkään
- Laila (6/5): - TV didnt Work
Wifi code was missing and difficult to get in touch with staff
- Mats (10/5): Intressant!
- Constance (10/5): Lovely, modern apartments! - Amazing place for such good value! Place was clean and cosy and had toiletries, towels and spare bedding. Everything was perfect and so pretty! The owners kept in contact to ensure we had everything we needed and any extra help. They provided leaflets on places to visit in zadar and offered us flight transfers and late check out to match our flights. This place is so accommodating and pretty! I was worried booking because it’s next to the bus station and a big McDonald’s but it was so quiet! A proper hidden gem! The little patio outside is adorable and has such nice lighting for evening time! Everyone was so friendly and kind and accommodating. Will be returning
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very satisfied - Easy to !find, new furnishings, nice and compact
- Tian (10/5): Good value for money. Suitable for backpacker - Good value for money. Reception is super friendly and helpful. Five years old but still a good status. A little bit humid mild smell in the room because of the wet board in bathroom. But they are fixing on it already.
- Kayla R. (10/5): Guiverna - Beautiful and peaceful place to stay . Had everything you need and extremely cozy and clean
- Antoine P. (10/5): Romms very charming and simple - Nothing special
- Vincent (8/5): - 2 steps from bus station. Cheap and clean. Can go without doubt.
- Surend (10/5): Good accomodation - The room was clean. Had a fairly good equipped kitchen. Loft room was of a good size. Parking good on site. Was walking distance to some of the attractions. Had all the basics for a comfortable stay.
Did not like the cleaning charge. Missed seeing this when booking.
- Berumen (10/5): - Property was recently redone . Room very clean. Very close to bus station. I mean very close. Walked out of station crossed over the McDonald’s parking lot and was there. Susana who checked us in was very informative and cheerfull. . Gave us a map of town and recommendations. Many thanks Susanna.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great value - Convenient location right next to the main bus station and within walking distance to a beach and to the old town. The apartment was comfortable, and service was provided in a friendly and helpful manner at all times.
- Suzanne (6/5): - I thought the description of the second bedroom a little misleading. It was in fact a fold out mattress on the floor of a loft accessed by a very steep ladder. The cleaning fee was also unexpected, something I have only paid on Airbnb before.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Try somewhere else. - Not so good. No one works between 2 - 6 but check-in is at 2? Makes no sense so luckily we called ahead and they put the key in a locker. There's a charge of 8€ for cleaning on top of the room charge and it doesn't change whether it's one night or more, so you get ripped off for staying one night. The location is quite far out from the old town and sits on an ugly junction with a McDonald's which you can smell.
- Melissa (10/5): Great condo for amazing value - This is a fantastic property! We ended up with a brand new condo and it was fantastic. Loved the modern vibe of the property and the terrace out back. The location was approximately a 15 minutes walk from the old town; however, there were several great restaurants nearby and grocery stores within a minute walk. The beach is also within a short walks distance. Highly recommend this property, great value!
- Tom (10/5): Fabulous accomodation - Wonderful modern NEW apartment in a old monestary. Very quaint
- Istvan (10/5): Next to the Mc - Excellent accommodation in the heart of dontown.
From outside it looks unusual but overall perfect place.
City beach is in walking distance, the bach itself so-so.
There are a few good beaches in 15-20 min drive.
We would stay there again.
- Kimber (10/5): Two thumbs up! - The outside looks sketchy, but don't judge a book by it's cover. Great location, clean and new.
It doesn't come with shampoo, conditioner or soap so make sure you have your own. A grocery market is right around the corner, and a coffee/pastry shop.
- john (10/5): Comfort apt - We booked as last minute due to a mishap and turned out to be a great decision. The apt had all you need for a short stay. Manager was great and helpful. Great location with parking .
- Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent service and info from the recepcionist - Great studio apartments, with space for everything. 15 min. walk from the old town. Fantastic receptionist, who gave us so much usefull information, always with a smile.
The balcony with the small table for each apartment are so nice and the bakery next door makes really good coffee and bread. Very close to supermarkets and restaurants. We will be back!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The location is as advertised, a 15 minute walk from the old town. There is a beach nearby which is great, also a yummy bakery and a Spar (grocery store). The woman who checked us in was sweet, and we really enjoyed the little place.
- Philippe (8/5): Good hotel, good price for the area. - The place looks shady from the outside a bit but it's very nice inside. The staff was very helpful. The only drawback I had was the air conditioning, it's a water based unit and it wasn't as cold as I would have liked. 22C during the night is too much for a Canadian snowman like me! It's also about half and hour of walk to the old town.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Located right next to bus stop so very convenient. 20 min walk from all the attractions.
- Jean (10/5): Top spot - We stayed three nights. It was excellent. Susan is the perfect hostess. She told us everything we needed to about excursions etc. It is the top spot on our trip to Croatia and Italy. Enjoy
- Karen (8/5): - Newly renovated rooms/ studio apartments within a 15 minute walk to the town center. Nice blend of old meets new in the restoration. Free parking. Our hostess, Suzanna was very helpful with directions and things to do.
- Gautier (6/5): New Room - we stayed only one night. The room is a 15min walk to the old town of Zadar and 1min walk to the supermarket. The room is new and clean.
However, the bed is really short in length.
The price for 1 night is OK (50€) but we had to pay 7€ for a cleaning fee. It is really too much for one night and i assure you the cleaning under the bed is not done. 2 socks found.
- anne (4/5): Don't go - Note on door of closed office told us to go to unit 2, where we found the door unlocked and a note of instructions and key inside - and that staff would be there at 8 am next morning to collect cleaning fee. Five minutes later 2 police arrived in the cul de sac trying to find someone.
Unit itself was clean but I was glad to leave next morning .Bad area
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great location near supermarkets and free parking - You can use it as a base to drive into Old Town which is about ten minutes away or explore the national parks. The apartment is clean and our host, Suzana is very nice and always responsive. Heads up that there is a 50kn cleaning fee at checkout which is reasonable.
- Vincent (10/5): Nice hotel close to city center - Loved our stay. The staff was so friendly and nice, felt like home
The appartment is small but very nice, cosy had all that we needed. Very modern look
Awsome bathroom
Would come back anytime
- sillychoi (4/5): unprofessional apartment owner - I came to apartment and it is very difficult to find out because there is no sign for this apartment.
No one is available to check in this apartment when I arrive at this place around 13:00 O'clock.
barely I call him through guest's phone in this property, he answered he promised to show up within 30 minutes, but he show up after 1 hour 15 minutes stairways without air-conditioning over 30 degree.
Bed is quite soft and a little uncomfortable. He asked me 50 euro pay ahead and he said he brought the receipt. he never give me any cash receipt. Wi-Fi is not working on lap-top computer.
it works only ground floor. Phone Wi-Fi is working.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good for a short stay - This is not a hotel, but rather few apartments for rent. The unit was fine, comfortable and clean, there is wifi and air conditioning. but the area is not ideal, locals live in some of the row houses, and the alley is dark at night. There is not breakfast , but there is a McDonalds very close, a supermarket a bakery as well as the bus station. To reach the old town you´ll need to use a bus, which runs until 11 pm, after that
you´ll need a taxi , make sure you discuss the price before entering the vehicle. Good TV, with english channels.
- Dragana (8/5): Good location, lacking creature comforts - Very accommodating and helpful hosts. Ensured that the room was left unlocked and available as we were running late due to flights and arriving well after midnight. Lovely little room with a kitchenette, good location right next to a supermarket and a McDonalds.
The room was a bit small and it contained a double size bed which was not overly comfortable. The air conditioning is a ground based until located right next to the bed which was a bit loud. It was necessary to have it on due to the really hot weather however it was hard to regulate the body/room temperature due to laying down right next the air conditioning unit. Amenities such as extra towels, extra toilet paper rolls and perhaps a body wash soap should also be provided.
- Balinder (8/5): Nice, compact & convenient with an excellency host - Great, could have done with some more mirrors
- Chris (10/5): Nearly Perfect - This was a great place to stay. It isn't in the old city (the only negative) but it was in a decent walking distance and a bus was nearby. The rooms are newly renovated and while a bit tight in area they are very comfortable. Wifi and TV works great and the best part of the whole experience was Suzane, the manager. She is wonderful, has a great sense of humor, speaks very good English, is very friendly and helpful, and wants to assist to you get most out of your visit to Zadar. highly recommend.
- bree (8/5): Great place to stay - This apartment is perfect for two people who are having a short stay in Zadar. We stayed for 5 days which worked well. The staff were absolutely lovely and really made it worth the stay. The apartment itself is right next to the bus station so is really easy to get to and has a great McDonald's right next door. It has an ensuite and kitchenette and an outside balcony with a drying rack. This was all really useful. We used the kitchenette to cook some meals and kept water bottles in the fridge so we didn't have to buy so many. The drying rack came in handy as well since we spent most days at the beach which is only a 5-10 min walk away! The old town is a bit further away (15-20mins) but still very feasible. The air conditioning was also fabulous (Im sure we would have died without it). We did end up making the place feel a bit dirty after 5 days but if it really bothers you, I'm sure you could ask for a dustpan and brush/mop.
- Sarah (10/5): Wonderful! - We stayed in the double apartment on the ground floor for 4 nights and found this apartment to be perfect for our needs. They have been recently refurbished and the owner had a keen eye for interiors and decor. The kitchenette was very handy and allowed us to make eggs for breakfast, pack a picnic lunch and even have a simple dinner in one night - a welcome change after being on holiday and eating out for a week! Check in was easy and friendly and we got great recommendations for restaurants, beaches and day trips. The only thing to be aware of is that it is a long walk to the old town. 20 minutes to the start of old town and if you want to go to the sea organ it is more like 30 or 35. I say this so that people have an accurate idea of the walk and don't give this hotel a bad review. We didn't mind the distance but don't stay here if that sounds like too far for you.
- Caroline (8/5): Great Accomodation! - The room was comfortable and modern. The room came with fresh towels and was clean! The lady Suzana at the reception was so friendly and gave me a map and went thru things to see. Suzana even recommended a beautiful restaurant over looking the water. The view was just beautiful! T hank you Suzan for you recommendation!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean, light and comfortable. Nice modern touches while respecting the heritage of the building itself. You can take a bus or an easy walk into the old town. Friendly and helpful staff made me feel very relaxed and welcome.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything was amazing! The city is actually very small, the hotel is very near the bus terminal, very easy for us to transit on another city by bus. We walked to the city center only 20 mins. Nice walk also, by pass the park :)
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely receptionist Suzana, full of local information. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable with a seating area facing west (sunsets) outside the door. Very central for old town and coastal walks.
- Davinder (8/5): Great location! - We enjoyed staying Guverna. The location is great only few minutes walk to the main bus station. 15 mins walk to the old town. Very basic but nice. The only thing I would say I would have liked was as a starter pack couple of tea bags and sugar for nice cup of tea in the morning. The host was very nice and friendly and full of information.
- Amanda (8/5): Zadar in April - The apartment is well equipped with everything you need for a short stay. The host was great. She was waiting for us at the apartment & gave us lots of helpful information about Zadar. Very handy to the bus station, with a big supermarket across the street. About 15mins walk into Old Town.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Cozy hotel - Google map leads you to a building that's being demolished, but the hotel's actually the one next to McD. When you book, it's not clear that they'll be charing you extra $7 per day for cleaning. So keep that in mind. Also the front desk is not available when you arrive, and you have to "mail" or "call" them. Once you get their attention (of course mail isn't as fast), it'll take them 10 mins to bike over. Room seemed to be renovated recently so it was overall clean. It's a good ~20mins walk to the old city. Felt little far but it's also good to be right next to McD and a market for breakfast choices.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Walking distance to central Zadar - The apartment is cheap and it is just a 20 minute walk in to central Zadar. The staff were helpful and welcoming and arranged for us to check in late.
The apartment is not big and accessing some beds means climbing a long steep ladder which was ok for us but wouldn't be good for young children or older people.
Parking is free and convenient.
- Matthew (6/5): Decent for the price, uncomfortable bed. - Bed very uncomfortable, and about a 30 minute walk from Old Town Zadar. Good for the price, and room was recently renovated with all Ikea furnishings. Decent for the price. Convenient free parking.
- Arelis (6/5): check out counter closed - Overall I really liked the place and the lady even gave us great restaurant recommendations. Upon arrival I was told we would have to pay a 7€ cleaning fee at check out. The morning of check out my family was ready in the car waiting for 0800 when the counter would open and by 0835 no one had arrived so I chose to give the lady a call and leave the keys on the counter and have her bill me the 7€. She asked if I would wait an additional 10 minutes (she was obviously asleep), however I feel the if you run a hotel/apartment rentals you should be punctual with time because if you arent you are cutting into your guest's travel time.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Oncewe where able to check in, our stay was fine. - When we arrived at the office there was no one there to check us in. A sign on the door said "Be right back" and had a phone number and a password for the WiFi with an email address We waited a while then tried to access the intent to email but the password did not work. We ask a neighbor of she could call and she tried the number on the door, no answer. We trotted a second number that we had on the reservation and where able to get someone. She showed up about 15 minutes later to check us in. If not die the kindness of a neighbor I'm not sure how long we would have been waiting.
- shawn (8/5): Clean modern room. Not the greatest location - The room was clean and a good size. Was not the greatest locations.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Clean and friendly staff - Great small apartment. Shower very nice. 20min walk to old town. Parking available. Lots of grocery shops around. Could have used coffee machine, percolator or coffee cone to make own morning coffee. Check-in was easy and staff friendly.
- Chris (10/5): Great place! - Perfectly fine this place. 15 minute walk from the old city, 1 minute walk from supermarkets, McDonald's. Very comfortable, decent location, clean apartment and friendly staff. Just what we needed!

- Sarah (10/5): Stylish and Smart - These apartments are so stylish. The designer has done a fabulous job organizing the space and using colors and materials to keep the space clean and pretty. The bathroom was excellent and airy, the kitchen was efficient. It's located right next to a grocery store so it was easy to fix a meal.
