There’s a beautiful pool and plenty of walkways around fountains and ponds. The staff is the icing on the cake. Kind. Informative. Attentive. And ready to assist. 100/10. We’ll be back.

• Lyn (10/5): - This hotel was built approx 50 years ago, And has a very nice garden with lots of trees. The style/decor is somewhat outdated, but rooms are spacious with new bathrooms. We liked that it’s near some typical restaurants of the area, and Staff I very friendly and helpful. Will stay here again.

• Marisol (10/5): - It’s an amazing paradise. Lushes gardens with water fountain as you come in. It has a pool and hot tub. It also has a fire pit you can reserve if you wish too. It has a path which you can walk through.

• Diana (10/5): - Where do. I start?! This place blew our minds. Once you walk u to the gate.. it’s like an oasis inside. It’s gorgeous landscaping makes this hotel so serene and peaceful that we just wanted to stay here the entire time. The breakfast was incredible. Everything was home made and the orange juice was freshly squeezed. The owner was charismatic and very welcoming. We are definitely going back and I highly recommend.

The location was very convenient and we were even able to walk to a winery. They were other very nice wineries close by driving distance. The staff was very very friendly. • Ramon (8/5): A green oasis in the Guadalupe valley - Our visit was restful, peaceful and quiet. Staff was profesional and attentive. We liked the personal touch and attention. We were pleasantly surprise from the first step into the hotel; it is a beautiful hidden green oasis in the middle of brown dry land. Once inside, you forget everything else and don’t want to leave. The courtyard has a somewhat Japanese garden feel to it. The limited number rooms make it feel quaint and personalized. There are wineries within walking distance - tasty wine.

• PAMELA (8/5): - Our only and biggest issue.. NO HOT WATER. Apparently my room wasn’t the only one, as other family members stayed same days as me and their room had no hot water either. I went back to the hotel reviews after my stayed and past guest do mentioned the water issue.. my mistake on not reading prior booking. Lesson learned. The good part… Property inside is beautiful, rustic and clean. Parking as advertised is outside property and you have to cross the street to a gated parking lot. You do need a cellphone with service/make a phone call in order to open it yourself. Otherwise you have to ask for assistance, which was never a problem! Staff is nice and helpful. Rooms are spacious and super clean.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Hidden Gem - Lovely place! The check-in was effortless, staff was friendly, rooms were modern and clean. There was hot water and great water pressure. It was near Ensenada so we spent the day there but returned to the grounds before dark. The property itself is surrounded by walls but it didn’t feel like it! The grounds were well maintained and large enough that you’re able to walk around and feel at peace. We used the bonfire pit to end our night. Would definitely stay again.

Neighborhood lacks character but the walled facility is a delightful oasis. Great choice for a group getaway from SoCal.
• David (10/5): Can't wait to stay there again! - We really enjoyed staying at Quinta Arratz. We were greeted warmly and shown to two large, lovely rooms that were next to each other. The rooms were unbelievably spotless and felt like they were brand-new, and had the most comfortable beds and ample space for everything. There were separate dressing table and full bathroom with walk-in shower. The grounds were unbelievably large and park-like, with pathways, gazebos, a pool, and various fountains and benches for quiet contemplation, discussions, or just hanging out. The manager, Victor, was extremely personable. I contacted them in advance and they were able to book us a driver for the day so that we could tour the Valle de Guadalupe. On the morning of our departure, Victor happened to see us at the front gate getting ready for our morning run, and eagerly suggested routes we could take. Upon returning, we were served a delicious, home-cooked, multi-course breakfast in the dining room with coffee and tea, fresh squeezed juice, fruit with yogurt and granola, and chilaquiles and black beans with choices of eggs and sauce. The breakfast was so satisfying and delicious that we did not even have to eat lunch that day. One suggestion is to ask the person who shows you to your room to demonstrate how to use the A/C unit - it was not intuitive. Also, it takes a few minutes for the hot water to come to the shower, so be patient. . We would highly recommend Quinta Arratz, and look forward to staying there again.

• Stephanie (10/5): Amazing place! Definitely recommend it - I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. It is in a great location with many wineries around it, grocery stores are walkable by foot, and gas stations are a couple of blocks away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself other than being in a great location, it is very well maintained and clean. The breakfast that they offer is unlike any other, not your typical continental breakfast. They have fruits, coffee, orange juice, and Mexican breakfast options.

Perfect location to call “home” if visiting the wineries. Very friendly staff throughout.
• Verified traveler (4/5): - Honestly, this is a very strange review to have to give. The check-in was fine. The rooms were fine. The property was great. The kitchen was good and all the staff was nice and accommodating... at the start. Our host was extremely nice and gave us recommendations and even rented us a car to go on a perfect wine tasting tour. We had requested that they warm the hot tub up for us when we got back around 8 pm, but when we got back it was cold. I asked our host about it and he turned into Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. He seemed to be having a party or something on the property and was intoxicated, argumentative, and frankly, aggressive. I felt threated and was confused about how he could be so nice our entire stay, and then flip a switch like that. As I said, the rest of the staff was really nice and the food and rooms were great. I don't know what the guy's problem was but after that altercation, I won't be back, ever.
• Jasmin (6/5): - Property was very nice and clean only has 6 rooms, no television and owners live in the property. However apparently their was something wrong with the shower. We had to take a shower with cold water and sprinkles. When we advised the owner she was very rude asked for the key, walked away without apologizing when she returned she ignored our presence and not once did she apologize. We were excited to stay and was planning to come back. But, with owner reaction we will NOT recommend nor return back. All we were expecting was an apology, for her to show her concern.
• Jesus (10/5): Highly recommended; pool cleanlinees could improve - Really great place for relaxing; they have only six rooms, which makes it feel like the entire place is for yourself. The best of eveything is that this small and beautiful place makes you feel somewhere else. The only thing was the pool, which I will recommend to be cleaned early morning without waiting for guests to ask for it; other than that, all was really nice.
